Unfortunately, the restaurant was a complete failure, only the fish smelled bad. Bar7 is far too overpriced. You pay way too much for what you get. Far too small a buffet for the amount you have to pay. 60€ for two people, even though you only tried two plates, which weren't even worth it. After that we didn't even feel well. There really are 1,000 better ones, that's not a bad point against the restaurant, but something urgently needs to be done about it

Unfortunately the store was too full on Sunday, so we went somewhere else. But feel free to come by again during the week. Lunch buffet on Sundays 24.90 and weekdays 14.90. We're excited to see what it ultimately tastes like.

I can't understand some of the negative reviews. I always found it very nice and cozy when I ate in this restaurant. I always found the staff friendly and the service was top, not too intrusive but always tried hard. The buffet offers a lot of choice and I also think the prices are quite reasonable. Always my pleasure!

I went to this restaurant for lunch with my husband on Tuesday and the experience was quite disappointing. When we arrived, the waiter informed us that we could sit at any table as the place was empty. After three minutes, however, he shouted in the middle of the hall that we weren't allowed to sit there and that we should go to another table. We changed tables without any problems as we are understanding, but there was absolutely no need to shout in the middle of the hall, be so rude, rude and disrespectful. We felt repressed and humiliated by the waiter's behavior, which turned a pleasant occasion into an extremely unpleasant experience. We all have a bad day and I sincerely hope that this employee's day has improved in some way. I wish him all the best. A very fair Chinese restaurant. Atmosphere as you would expect, reminds me a bit of Chinese restaurants from my childhood. The food is adequate with a very good price-performance ratio, especially at lunch. Service is usually quick and friendly. Unfortunately my order was already mixed up, which is annoying when you're a vegetarian and still receive meat.

Yes, buffet food is not always the same as a cooked menu, it is not quite as hot and sometimes you get noodles that are hard from being heated over the long term. Fresh fruit, scoops of ice cream with sauces and a lot of choice make up for the little things. The friendly staff and the ambience do the rest. If you go there just for the food, you should order it from the menu, otherwise the buffet gets 3 stars and the rest 4-5...

We picked up 2 pasta dishes to take away. (Pasta with vegetables and pasta with chicken) The portions for a total of €25 were large, but in terms of taste I really wonder what you could do wrong with this dish! Phew, we just have an order for delivery... given up. The delivery person was very friendly, but the food was a disaster. 2 soups, sushi, spring roll, tit pan duck and chicken. The vegetables in the soups were edible, the broth was so dark and spicy, you would think there was a BARREL of pepper in the broth. Tit pan - vegetables and meat, were more or less lying in a huge puddle of oil, inedible....the noodles: as soon as you opened the packaging, you were met with an extremely burnt smell, which unfortunately proved to be bad in taste, therefore inedible! Spring roll: unfortunately soggy. We thought we'd try something new, but the recessions on delivery... you can't understand it at all at that moment. Really a shame and not recommended!

I've been going there again and again for many years. We always use the all you can eat buffet and have never been disappointed. For around 15~ euros per person there is a large selection of already prepared dishes + the option of freshly grilled food. We recommend!

Wir waren gestern Mittag mit Freunden zum ersten und letzten mal in diesem "Restaurant" wir liegen alle mit Durchfall im Bett. Wir hatten schon vor Ort das Essen moniert, da alles sehr kalt war. Als wir es der Chefin gesagt haben hat sie nur gelacht. Als sie uns dann anschaute wusste sie, dass wir es ernst gemeint haben. Sie sagt dann ich kann nicht zu viel wärmen kostet Geld und wenn zu kalt dann solle ich es Bestellen. Ja ist auch eine MÖGLICHKEIT Konflikte zu lösen. Die Hähnchenteile waren trocken Die Kroketten bestimmt schon etwas älter, von frische war nichts zu sehen. SORRY aber Bitte überlegen sie ob man das Geld ausgeben möchte. Wenn 6 Menschen nach diesem Essen schlecht geht kann es nicht an den Menschen liegen!!!!!. Ich kann dieses Etwas nicht weiter Empfehlen!!! Ich muss noch hinzufügen, DAS WIR NICHT zu ENDE kamen sondern am ANFANG gleich da waren und wir haben alle gegessen ALSO BITTE bleiben sie bei der Wahrheit!!! Das Buffet ist im Vergleich zu anderen Restaurants mega frisch,allerdings etwas wenig Auswahl, zb.kein Schweinefleisch. Das Rind war mir definitiv zu scharf ,obwohl ich gerne scharf esse .Nachtisch passt soweit.

Hier bestimmt nicht mehr! Das Mittagsbuffet ist eine absolute Frechheit. Es gibt keine Auswahl, kein Sushi, Nichts... Ist eher ein Beilagenbuffet. Bin sehr enttäuscht. Kann ich definitiv nicht empfehlen!!!

Wir waren zu 6. zur Pekingente da, sehr zu empfehlen.

Einmal im Monat hat man Lust auf gebackene Ente oder Meeresfrüchte, gebratene Nudeln oder gebackene Bananen. Ganz ehrlich 21,-€ für all you can eat ist voll in Ordnung.👍🏼 Wenn man mal vergleicht, was man inzwischen für ein einziges Menü beim Imbiss Chinesen bezahlt!? Sezchuan Rind mit Reisbeilage. 13,50€, Peking Suppe 3,90€, Gebackene Bananen 4,90€. Bist schon drüber🫡! Gebratene Nudeln auf Lieferando schon für 12,50,-€, die Waren mal 5,90€. Nach Hause geliefert von ner‘ Ghost Kitchen irgendwo in der C-Lage, wo Miete nur 800.-€ kostet?!? Das China City, darf man nicht vergessen ist ein Restaurant am Kunst Museum und klar machen die ihren Gewinn an Getränken. Da muss man mit rechnen, da sagt einer Eistee mit Verschluss 4,80€?! Kollege die Kosten im Aldi schon 1,50€!!! Was verlangst als nächstes? Chips von der Tanke soll nicht mehr 6€ kosten sondern 1€?!? Fazit, Preis-Leistung stimmt, an vielen Orten nicht mehr. Zumal es kaum noch gute Küche in Karlsruhe gibt. Genießt solange Verzehr vor Ort noch 7% besteuert ist. 🖐🏼

Abgesehen von dem tollen und zuvorkommenden Personal war das Buffet köstlich und abwechslungsreich. Wir waren nun schon einige Male dort und freuen uns jedes Mal wieder auf den nächsten Besuch.

Wir fanden die Auswahl eher klein, die meisten Speisen waren fad, fettig, viel frittiertes. Ich habe noch nie so matschige Frühlingrollen gegessen wie hier. Am besten hat uns die Ente geschmeckt. Sehr kleine Auswahl an Sushi. Die Speisen sind auch lauwarm, Teller werden nicht vorgewärmt, bis man am Tisch sitzt, ist das Essen schon fast kalt. Als Nachtisch gab es etwas Obst, Pudding, sehr durchschnittliche Kuchen und künstlich schmeckendes Eis. Nichts wirklich leckeres. Keine Schoko-Fontaine, wie wir es sonst kennen. Nur als Info: hier wird man gewarnt, dass man drauf zahlt, falls man zu viel übrig lässt. Was "zu viel" ist, ist nicht wirklich klar. Fazit: es gibt deutlich bessere Buffet-Restaurants!

Wohlfühlen und endlos schlemmen. Das Essen ist typisch und Frosch, schmeckt hervorragend und macht Spaß. Der Service ist aufmerksam, freundlich und schnell. Besonderes Highlight: Mongolian BBQ ❤️

Der kellner war einfach unhöflich, der hat keine Ahnung wie man mit Gäste umgehen. Essen war trotzdem gut.

Ich war nach einem schönen Kinoabend noch gemütlich hier Essen. Die Preise, sowie der Service und vorallem die Menge die man bekommt sind alle mal 5 Sterne wert. Sehr gut abgeschmeckt und das extra mit dem Warmhalteköcher auf dem Tisch damit das Essen warm bleibt runden alles ab. Ich würde jederzeit wieder hin gehen.

Wir hatten all you can eat. Es war super.

Wir waren gestern Abend beim china City mit 6 Personen essen, wir hatten all you can eat. Schon beim reinkommen, war der Service sehr freundlich, was ich so von anderen china Restaurants nicht kenne. Es wurde immer nach uns geschaut und die Teller alle sofort abgeräumt, obwohl wir draußen saßen. Das Essen war megaa frisch und absolut ausreichend. Es hat uns allen geschmeckt. Das Preis Leistungsverhältnis ist super Vielen Dank für den lieben Service Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Meiner Familie und meinen Freunden hat es hier schon mehrfach sehr gut gefallen und ich werde es wieder weiterempfehlen.

Preise übertrieben teuer für so eine kleine Auswahl, habe schon wesentlich besser und günstiger Asia Buffet gegessen. Personal freundlich, aber als ich nach einem Tidch für zwei gefragt habe, wurde direkt der Tisch angeboten, der noch schmutzig und benutzt war und dann auf einen "oder dort drüben" verwiesen. Die gebratenen Pilze sind super, alles andere ist geschmacklich ein Witz oder leider nicht der Rede wert.... Auch peinlich, wenn man knallrote Karten drucken lassen muss und diese dann auf jeden Tisch stellt, wo drauf steht, dass probieren und mitessen verboten ist und ein Pflichtgetränk oder +3,00 verlangt wird...

Schon öfter war ich vor Kinobesuchen im Filmpalast am Buffet des "China City". Danach war mir bei diesem Besuch nicht, also habe ich mich für ein Tellergericht entschieden. Service: Das China City ist relativ groß und durch die gute Lage im Filmpalast entsprechend frequentiert. Die Herrschaften im Service sind entsprechend unter Strom, aber trotzdem aufmerksam und immer gut erreichbar, sollte man zusätzliche Bestellungen aufgeben wollen. Wir haben nach einem Kinderstuhl gefragt und diesen auch bekommen. Das dieser etwas Klebriges an sich hatte war weniger schön. - 3/5 Essen: Ich schaue auf der Speisekarte immer mal nach Gerichten die ich nicht überall bekomme. Entsprechend habe ich mich gefreut das "Hühnerfleisch in Curry a la Singapur" entdeckt zu haben. Ich habe dieser Art von Hähnchen bereits in Singapur gegessen und auch wenn das China City an das Original nicht ran kommt, hat es mir doch sehr gut geschmeckt. Das Gericht wird als scharf deklariert, eine wirkliche Schärfe konnte ich aber nicht erkennen. Entsprechend kann ich das Gericht auch jedem empfehlen, der nicht so gerne scharf ist. - 4/5 Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis: 13,50€ hat das Gericht gekostet. Das ist jetzt sicher nicht im unteren Preissegment, aber im Kino ist bekanntlich grundsätzlich alles etwas teurer. Man weiß also im Prinzip auf was man sich einlässt. Der Preis ist daher aus meiner Sicht noch in Ordnung. - 3/5 Fazit: Das Essen hat mich überzeugt und würde für eine höhere Bewertung reichen. Der eher unpersönliche Service und die etwas höheren Preise sind aber für mich im durchschnittlichen Bereich angesiedelt. Trotzdem ist das China City im Filmpalast immer meine erste Wahl, wenn ich vor dem Kino noch was essen möchte. - 3/5

Da kann man wirklich hin gehen, das Essen ist gut. Die Auswahl okay und es wird ständig nachgekocht. Man kann sich hier gut ein drei Gänge Menü und mehr zusammenstellen.

Ich kann mich nicht erinnern wann ich das letzte mal ein so gutes qualitativ hohes Buffet gesehen habe. Am Grill wurde Fisch, oder auch Fleisch frisch zubereitet. Kleiner Tipp die sehr scharfe Soße mit Knoblauch etwas aufpeppen. War rundum sehr, sehr gut. Ich werde mit meiner Familie gern wiederkommen.
