We ate there today and I have to say I have never been disappointed. It goes without saying that the facility is getting old. But the Korean soup with the 8 treasures was really subterranean. It is common knowledge that you can't go wrong with soup in an Asian restaurant. They are usually always very good. It's completely different here and that explains why the waitress really wanted to take me to the buffet. I would have listened to it. The soup came and you could already smell that something was wrong with it. It smelled very fishy, ​​the crabs were inedible and the beef looked like it had been swimming in it for months. The broth was extremely, really disgusting and the broccoli was raw. All in all, the worst soup I've ever had to smell and see. You couldn't eat it. I've been a guest at the restaurant for a long time, but recently it's really gone downhill. The meat for frying is often frozen on the buffet and after frying it is like shoe leather. The service is really good and the ambience is nice too. But the food really took off.

I was here on 10/7/24 at 12pm. Ambience very nice, typically Asian. The young waiter, who surprisingly spoke German very well, was very nice and friendly. The lady who was there was also very friendly, only the older gentleman, probably the boss, looks pretty nasty and unfriendly, and there was no hello or bon appetit to be heard from him. I would be afraid that he would knock me out with a kung fu kick if I ordered something from him. This view doesn't fit in the catering industry where you deal with a lot of people. Food was ok, nothing special, any Chinese snack bar would do the same in terms of taste. Very little choice for a Chinese buffet. Many containers were empty and had not been used at all. Probably only in the evening. Small selection of main courses. What doesn't suit an Asian restaurant are fries. Salad was fresh and very tasty. Buffet and a 0.4l soft drink costs €20. Plates are very small, everything is just cake plates so that you don't put too much food on your plate. What bothered me were all the pieces of paper everywhere saying how you should behave and how much you can eat and who isn't allowed to eat and what happens if you leave something on your plate. I almost didn't dare to walk to the buffet twice, lest someone with the evil eye come and kick me out... Once and never again is my conclusion.

When we walked in, we unintentionally left the outside door open and the waiter said "close the door please" in a very rude tone. Everyone has a bad day, but that's not how you treat customers. When we mentioned that the tone wasn't right, he just said loudly, "I said please." We asked him again that the sound wasn't right and he said we should leave. We then left straight away. Ordered beef fried rice to take away. Unfortunately it's not to my taste and I'm pretty disappointed. No bean sprouts, pretty German made with peas and corn, I don't like it at all. There's hardly any beef and only small fatty gristles, absolutely not tasty... paid a hefty 12.50 for it. However, the portion was plentiful... still very annoying, no longer an option for me.

Wir waren gestern Mittag mit Freunden zum ersten und letzten mal in diesem "Restaurant" wir liegen alle mit Durchfall im Bett. Wir hatten schon vor Ort das Essen moniert, da alles sehr kalt war. Als wir es der Chefin gesagt haben hat sie nur gelacht. Als sie uns dann anschaute wusste sie, dass wir es ernst gemeint haben. Sie sagt dann ich kann nicht zu viel wärmen kostet Geld und wenn zu kalt dann solle ich es Bestellen. Ja ist auch eine MÖGLICHKEIT Konflikte zu lösen. Die Hähnchenteile waren trocken Die Kroketten bestimmt schon etwas älter, von frische war nichts zu sehen. SORRY aber Bitte überlegen sie ob man das Geld ausgeben möchte. Wenn 6 Menschen nach diesem Essen schlecht geht kann es nicht an den Menschen liegen!!!!!. Ich kann dieses Etwas nicht weiter Empfehlen!!! Ich muss noch hinzufügen, DAS WIR NICHT zu ENDE kamen sondern am ANFANG gleich da waren und wir haben alle gegessen ALSO BITTE bleiben sie bei der Wahrheit!!! Sie haben uns NULL darauf hingewiesen das sie gleich Schließen sonst wären wir wo anders hin gegangen. Traurig, dass sie sich so raus reden. Und ich habe 3 Monate später die Bewertung geschrieben.

Das Buffet ist im Vergleich zu anderen Restaurants mega frisch,allerdings etwas wenig Auswahl, zb.kein Schweinefleisch. Das Rind war mir definitiv zu scharf ,obwohl ich gerne scharf esse .Nachtisch passt soweit.

Hier bestimmt nicht mehr! Das Mittagsbuffet ist eine absolute Frechheit. Es gibt keine Auswahl, kein Sushi, Nichts... Ist eher ein Beilagenbuffet. Bin sehr enttäuscht. Kann ich definitiv nicht empfehlen!!!

Wir waren zu 6. zur Pekingente da, sehr zu empfehlen.

Einmal im Monat hat man Lust auf gebackene Ente oder Meeresfrüchte, gebratene Nudeln oder gebackene Bananen. Ganz ehrlich 21,-€ für all you can eat ist voll in Ordnung.👍🏼 Wenn man mal vergleicht, was man inzwischen für ein einziges Menü beim Imbiss Chinesen bezahlt!? Sezchuan Rind mit Reisbeilage. 13,50€, Peking Suppe 3,90€, Gebackene Bananen 4,90€. Bist schon drüber🫡! Gebratene Nudeln auf Lieferando schon für 12,50,-€, die Waren mal 5,90€. Nach Hause geliefert von ner‘ Ghost Kitchen irgendwo in der C-Lage, wo Miete nur 800.-€ kostet?!? Das China City, darf man nicht vergessen ist ein Restaurant am Kunst Museum und klar machen die ihren Gewinn an Getränken. Da muss man mit rechnen, da sagt einer Eistee mit Verschluss 4,80€?! Kollege die Kosten im Aldi schon 1,50€!!! Was verlangst als nächstes? Chips von der Tanke soll nicht mehr 6€ kosten sondern 1€?!? Fazit, Preis-Leistung stimmt, an vielen Orten nicht mehr. Zumal es kaum noch gute Küche in Karlsruhe gibt. Genießt solange Verzehr vor Ort noch 7% besteuert ist. 🖐🏼

Abgesehen von dem tollen und zuvorkommenden Personal war das Buffet köstlich und abwechslungsreich. Wir waren nun schon einige Male dort und freuen uns jedes Mal wieder auf den nächsten Besuch.

Wir fanden die Auswahl eher klein, die meisten Speisen waren fad, fettig, viel frittiertes. Ich habe noch nie so matschige Frühlingrollen gegessen wie hier. Am besten hat uns die Ente geschmeckt. Sehr kleine Auswahl an Sushi. Die Speisen sind auch lauwarm, Teller werden nicht vorgewärmt, bis man am Tisch sitzt, ist das Essen schon fast kalt. Als Nachtisch gab es etwas Obst, Pudding, sehr durchschnittliche Kuchen und künstlich schmeckendes Eis. Nichts wirklich leckeres. Keine Schoko-Fontaine, wie wir es sonst kennen. Nur als Info: hier wird man gewarnt, dass man drauf zahlt, falls man zu viel übrig lässt. Was "zu viel" ist, ist nicht wirklich klar. Fazit: es gibt deutlich bessere Buffet-Restaurants!

Wohlfühlen und endlos schlemmen. Das Essen ist typisch und Frosch, schmeckt hervorragend und macht Spaß. Der Service ist aufmerksam, freundlich und schnell. Besonderes Highlight: Mongolian BBQ ❤️
