By far the worst restaurant I've ever been to! The food looks and tastes old, and the service is terrible. To anyone reading this, please don't come here. You'll be disappointed and leave with a stomach ache!

Unfortunately, I noticed it too late that it was moldy and I had already eaten something before. We were finished at the buffet in 30 minutes and the hygiene was not so good either.

So, I'm actually a regular customer at Venus But since the chef changed, the food has been extremely salty, or almost salty at all. You want to order extra sauce from the waitress, and the woman who works there gives you a hard time, even though you pay extra for it! Additionally, the sauce wasn't even half, but less than half of what it was in the package... the peanut sauce was so runny you could call it soup. And you pay extra for that, but when you ask her about it, she says it's enough for one person. The prices always vary every time you visit Venus, even though you always order the same thing to go! Very questionable!

I can't recommend it at all! Hygiene?

Bad food, frozen meat, stomach aches, and wasted money. They charge adult prices for children. It's best not to go!

In Jestetten, Germany. Close to the Swiss border. You can eat as much as you like. Everything is freshly prepared. It was really delicious, and the lunch menu was a flat rate of €16.

HORROR DINNER We were looking forward to a delicious dinner at the Chinese restaurant, but then... - We were in for a real shock at the buffet: the food looked like it had been sitting in those containers for days (and smelled like it, too). - Everything was very unhygienic, dirty, and simply disgusting. 🤢 - The staff were very unpleasant. People watched you while you were eating and even stared at you. Otherwise, they were sitting on their phones in front of the guests. - There was an awkward silence (no background music). WE WILL NEVER EAT HERE AGAIN!!!!

I was there today the food tasted good

Nothing was good: neither food nor service nor atmosphere and especially hygiene. A restaurant to really avoid. We arrived at 8 p.m. there was almost nothing left to eat, we really ate the leftovers. And the taste was not there, I have never eaten Asian food so bad. The atmosphere was also cold and the service was zero, every time we asked a simple question they answered us while turning their backs.. We waited a while because we thought there were 5 of us they were going to refill the buffet but no, they only put a few sushi back at our request but it was not fresh I think they must have looked for leftovers from other days in the fridge and put that for us. And the ice creams in old, very dirty pots.. to top it off in style we were given a receipt just with the amount to pay without description and we do not know what we paid... really did not go to this restaurant. There are quite a few choices of restaurants around do not choose this one.

Never again!!! Warning!!! We were the only two guests, and after the visit we knew why. The "food" had been in the containers for a long time, probably for days. It had no taste at all. Even the thousands of flies in the restaurant weren't interested in the food. The service was very listless and unfriendly. The lady was constantly yelling in the kitchen and then she watched us to see how often we went to the buffet; after two visits, we'd had enough. The cutlery and atmosphere were very dirty. The online price was €15, but I thought it would be €40 for two people with two drinks. The result was €65, probably the estimated price from the waitress. As I walked out, I realized it was a rip-off. Outrageous price for bad food, disgusting atmosphere, and unfriendly service. That was a unique experience, of the horrific kind. No restaurant tester would put themselves through that.

Very confusing prices...they advertise the all you can eat buffet from 13.90 euros, but it turns out to be 17.90 euros. Then you see a tiny sign on the wall where the children are charged according to their age. We weren't even asked how old our children were...there are no drink prices to be found anywhere, no menus, and you have to be careful at the buffet; if you want something grilled, it's another 5 euros extra. When we paid, we realized we'd been ripped off. We didn't get a receipt with everything listed...just an EC receipt...even if we went by the most expensive price, we still paid at least 25 euros too much...so we paid about 10 euros for a Coke...the service was very unpleasant, as they watched us the whole time...at least that was my feeling...I'm not really convinced by the quality and freshness of the food either. Canned peaches, canned lichis, etc. ...I don't even want to talk about the chaos at the bar when paying...that will be a lesson for me for the next all-you-can-eat buffet....

I was there on Saturday at 1:15 p.m. The food was sitting for a long time and was barely replenished. The grilled food was okay. The restaurant was barely visited. The inventory was outdated. The waitress was sitting around talking on her cell phone. Flies were everywhere. Maybe better in the evening when it's busier and fresh food is available at the buffet. Overall, it's not what we remembered 10 years ago.

The food really isn't great. We weren't sure if the fish was still good; it had a strange color and smell. The sushi wasn't fresh, but it tasted okay. The rest was greasy and very salty. Nothing special and no reason to come back. The staff was friendly and sincere, hence the 2 stars. The location needs renovation.

Will not come here again! We were greeted with a smile and were introduced to the buffet. The attitude changed instantly after we decided to order dishes. Even showing attitude to kids when they ordered drink. Food has big portion but it was quite salty and the Sichuan dish was more like a sweet and sour dish. Bad attitude when we paid for the bill.

Buffet with limited selection. Sushi lacks flavor, poorly sealed, pieces are too large, others too small, and the quality is really poor. Part of the buffet is empty. Fried calamari: the breading doesn't stick to the calamari and the strings are still there. The beef isn't cooked well. In short, nothing particularly good.

I don't see a reason to return to this restaurant. In my opinion the food was not fresh. The dirty dishes were left on the table at the mercy of mosquitoes. The coke was good, at least that one from... We were on the terrace, maybe since it's spring it needs to be fixed, for now it's just chaos.

It can be summed up in one word: UNPLEASANT! Unpleasant atmosphere... Unpleasant staff... (running after guests, shouting across the room when they shouldn't take something, loudly and intrusively.) Unpleasantly clean... It would be so easy. The terrace and the garden needed a Kärcher. The trash needed to be taken out, the windows cleaned. Lots of potential, no desire to improve anything. The final price was truly unpleasant and a negative surprise... €90 for this experience. €25 per adult for the buffet, which had been set up there since lunch, for cold, poorly prepared food. Unfortunately, I can't recommend anyone to eat here. Save your money; if you add an extra €10, you could eat at a nice sushi restaurant and not pay for questionable quality here. Everything is very poorly done and dirty. We should have left right away, but they're just too friendly for that.

Very unpleasant. The buffet wasn't really varied or fresh. There was no dessert at all. The restaurant gave us a “dirty” impression. There was a cigarette bucket at the entrance that hadn't even been emptied and it stank. There were no decorations or anything else on the tables, everything was very bland. There was no music playing either.

We went to this restaurant at 9pm and unfortunately had a very bad experience. The service was catastrophic - the employees barely spoke German and were unfriendly. We were literally pressured to eat quickly instead of being able to enjoy our food in peace. The buffet was very small, the food was cold and hard. In addition, we were only allowed to eat from the buffet once even though we paid the full price - that's just outrageous! The billing was particularly annoying: We were assured that our 5-year-old child would have to pay less, but on the bill the price was suddenly more expensive. Overall very poor service, poor food and questionable billing practices. I absolutely cannot recommend this restaurant! 1.5 stars.

The staff is dressed grubby and dirty! They argue with each other in front of the customers! The food is not hot. The grill where I left my plate was sooo greasy and dirty as well as the cook's tools... my shoes stuck to the floor and so on! The aquarium at the entrance is just as sad as the whole restaurant! Visited here yesterday. The Asian buffet was very cleanly presented. Everything I tried and ate was delicious. One or two things from the buffet could have been hotter for my taste. The interior is a bit old.

Good food on the weekend for a reasonable price. There were more people than we thought. Even spontaneously without a reservation works well. Is recommended.

We arrived relatively late and were on our way to the Rhine Falls in our camper. When we entered the restaurant we immediately had the feeling of not being welcome. We were the only guests at the time and you could tell the woman who led us to the place that she didn't really feel like it. She wasn't happy that we didn't want to order anything from the buffet, but rather a la cart. The buffet was already pretty empty and didn't look particularly fresh anymore. After a normal waiting time the food came. I thought it was okay, but my girlfriend didn't like it so much. All in all, we both found the atmosphere a bit run down. During our visit the waitress didn't smile once. I think I would. Don't go there again.

The food here is fantastic and of very high quality – especially for the price! I always feel full and satisfied when I leave the store. It would be a real shame if you don't know this place or miss it. Absolutely recommended!

My family has been there a few times. The restaurant is characterized by the large and delicious buffet, where you can also choose to have things freshly prepared with various sauces. The service was also very friendly and attentive. The only small suggestion for improvement: Pay a little more attention to freshness and hygiene. As a note for guests, after half past seven there is no longer as much choice as around six o'clock. All in all, the Venus Restaurant is a clear recommendation for anyone who wants to enjoy the variety of Chinese cuisine in a relaxed atmosphere. I or we would definitely like to come back! :)

I'm sorry but I can't and won't be able to say much good things about this restaurant, we were a group of several people. As for the ambience, it wasn't entirely clean and the hygiene wasn't exactly as it should be, more on that later. Regarding the service, I have to say that the nice woman and her husband made an effort and I think they tried their best. Unfortunately, some things were forgotten to be brought when ordering and some of them ended up on the bill anyway or twice. Now to eat and that really wasn't great. We opted for the buffet, there were various dishes that had already been cooked that made a good impression and others that seemed like they weren't entirely fresh. Then it was about fresh products that you had to put together yourself and then prepare in the show kitchen style, now this show kitchen would be in the normal kitchen, the delivery was a hatch in the wall, well but it would be brought to the place We are told it is finished. As for the individual fresh ingredients, there were some types of meat and shrimp as well as fish and seafood. Our group tried a lot of things. Now to the actual problem, since yesterday some of us had stomach pains and we felt unwell and this morning a couple of us came along. The man appears to be a quiet guy who wants life to be simpler. But the woman is something else. Not happy when guests take too much (with an á Discrétion's offer...). There are still existing reviews that report on their behavior when paying by credit card. We experienced that too. But to be fair, we experience the same thing at other Chinese restaurants and grocery stores. And interestingly, always from the owners.

На троих при оплате вышло 78 €. Ничего не заказывали дополнительно кроме двух стаканов колы . Итого 53,70 € стоимость буфета должна была выйти за троих и два стакана колы, но при расчете совершенно другая сумма . Считаю это обманом . Очень некрасиво получается.

Sehr leckeres Sushi zum Mitnehmen, der Chef hat es direkt frisch für uns gemacht. Wir kommen bald wiedet!

Mon fils et moi avons très bien mangé dans ce restaurant. J'y ai pris le buffet, et mon fils a choisi à la carte. C'était très bon. Le service était rapide. Le rapport qualité-prix est très bon. Je ne comprends pas pourquoi il y a autant de critiques négatives. En tout cas, notre expérience était bonne.

Waren heute (18.10.23) da. Essen: Reis & Nudeln komplett trocken. Fleisch, sehr wässriger Geschmack. Wenig Liebe beim Kochen. Das einzige Gute waren die frittierten Sachen & Saucen. Der Service war kein Service. Nur nach Getränken gefragt sonst nichts. Ein Gastgeber sollte doch sein Essen vermarkten anstatt am Tisch Nüsse oder ähnliches zu Essen. Preis 17.90 € inkl. Offengetränk in Ordnung.

Wir sind dort hin, weil das "Panda" voll war, hätten reservieren sollen, und dachten laut Bewertungen ist das "Venus" ja ok, und genau das war es auch. Das Essen war ok, nix überragendes, aber in Ordnung, der Service war ok, weibliche Bedingung sehr nett, männliche hat das Besteck regelrecht auf den Tisch geschmissen, im gesamten grad so ok, Ambiente nicht das Gemütlichste, aber absolut ok. Muss da aber nicht nochmal unbedingt hin!

Ohje, so unmotivierter Service. Essen spärlich und nicht immer alles ganz frisch. Schmeckt aber trotzdem. Absolute Stille in dem Restaurant. Beklemmende Stimmung. Top Lage, leider weiß man es nicht umzusetzen.

A loveless place. The food was okay, but the staff was unfriendly and we didn't feel welcome at all. I cannot relate to the good reviews in here. It seems they are not genuine. It's better to avoid this place.

Das Essen war ok, der Service miserabel. Mit Ein-Wort-Sätzen wurden wir aufgefordert Getränke zu bestellen ("Trinken!") und abgekanzelt, dass es keine Kinderportion gibt ("nur was Karte!"). Das Kind am Tisch hat die Portion nicht geschafft. Wir baten direkt, ob wir den Rest mitnehmen durften. Am Tisch wurde mit einer der Gabeln das Essen in ein Plastikgefäß geschaufelt, sodass ein Teil auf den Tisch fiel. Das blieb da auch liegen. Dafür dann Pauschale für nicht aufgegessen. Ein von Fehlern strotzendes Schildchen kündigt es an (jemand hat auf dem Schild verbessert. Es steht nun genau so da...). Will man schlechten Service, dann sollte man unbedingt hierher kommen. Denn nur für das ok Essen lohnt es sich nicht.

Das Buffet ist sehr gut und reichhaltig. Preis/Leistungsverhältnis stimmt. Es wurde immer schnell nachgefüllt. Man kann sich auch einen Teller mit rohen Sachen zusammenstellen und mit der gewünschten Sosse zum Kochen geben. Hat im allgemeinen einen sauberen Eindruck gemacht inklusive Toiletten. Leider hat die Inhaberin den Charme eines Blockwarts der Kommunistischen Partei. Bestand unbedingt auf Barzahlung obwohl an der Theke ein Kreditkartengerät steht. Abrechnung undurchsichtig, es gibt keinen Kassenbon. Beim Kreditkartengerät sollten aus 84 Euro flugs 88 werden. Wir haben es "leider" bemerkt. Die Inhaberin hat uns sehr kühl nicht verabschiedet. Die Dame ist eine Zumutung und hat keine Ahnung wie man mit Gästen umgeht. Die Bewertung mangelhaft bezieht sich primär auf die Inhaberin.

Venus has the best Szechuan dishes in town. There's also a daily buffet. If you're past the typical, you can appreciate the food. Free plum wine can be asked from the hostess.

Hatten Frühlingsrollen und Gebratenen Reis. Essen war gut, aber die Bedienung hat uns mit vollem Mund bedient wir wurden unhöflich bedient. Die Tolietten waren nicht sauber, der Boden war voller Haare unter userem Tisch , überall waren Spinnennetze. NIE WIEDER!!!!

Optisch sowie geschmacklich(alles schmeckte irgendwie gleich, Frittiertes tropfte vor Fett )kein schönes Buffet. Essen zum Teil kalt. Rindfleisch mega zäh. Fehlende Speisen wurden zwar nachgelegt, doch das dauerte. Der Fußboden um das Buffet klebte. Die Bedienung war weder unfreundlich noch freundlich. Da wir im Lokal am Fenster zur "Aussenterasse??!!" saßen, hatten wir einen "tollen "Ausblick auf Müll und Unrat . Wohlgefühlt habe ich mich da leider nicht.

Self Service. All you can eat. Verschiedene Gerichte zur Auswahl wenig Sushi, aber der gegrillte fleischgericht war sehr gut. Genug Parkplatz. Getränke waren leider sehr teuer. 3 Personen fast 90 eur. :(

Das Essen war ganz passabel. Die Beiden im Service leider nicht. Das Alter für die Grenze zum Erwachsenentarif wurde 3x zu Gunsten des Wirts angepasst. So einen unfreundlichen Service habe ich lange nicht mehr gesehen. Schade.

Ganz OK, gutes Essen zu einem vernünftigen Preis. Toiletten sind sauber. Was mich etwas irritierte war, dass wenn man im Restaurant rumlief, blieb man wie am Boden "kleben".

Wir haben das All-You-Can-Eat-Buffet für 13 Euro genossen. Für diesen Preis ist das Angebot akzeptabel, obwohl das Buffet vielleicht etwas abwechslungsreicher hätte sein können.

Das Essen hat uns geschmeckt und die Bedienung war auch nett. Etwas kleine Auswahl für den Grill, aber alles sehr gut.

Wir waren zu zweit in Jestetten essen. Im „Venus“ können die Gäste von einem reichhaltigen Buffet profitieren. Einerseits kann man sich den Inhalt seines Tellers mit frischem Fleisch und Beilagen selbst zusammenstellen und grillen lassen und andererseits kann man sich am Buffet bei fertig gekochten Gerichten bedienen. Das Lokal bietet seinen Gästen auch eine Auswahl an Nachtischen (inklusive diverse Sorten Eis) an. Das Essen ist soweit ganz in Ordnung und die Bedienung freundlich. An einem Montagabend kostet das Buffet („All you can Eat“) EUR 21.50 pro Person. Für mich geht das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis somit soweit in Ordnung. Vor dem Restaurant hat es Parkplätze.
