Great food late at night. very unusual inventory. It would be worth it if all of the visitors' dishes were at the table almost at the same time, but acceptable at such a late time.
Modern, stylish restaurant in the noble Excelsior Hotel. Modern Asian cuisine at a high level at a reasonable price. Everything is elaborately and very carefully prepared and presented, very aromatic, tasty and also a visual delight. Very attentive: between the courses of our 3-course menu and at the end, small greetings from the kitchen that were not on the menu were served. The menu service was attentive and friendly, but the wine service was unfortunately not very ambitious and had some room for improvement.
Cozy atmosphere, attentive service and fantastic food. We have been regular guests for about a year and are always happy to recommend it. The price-performance ratio is also great.
The buffet offered a good selection, but there was a bit of a lack of variety. In terms of taste, everything was fine, the breaded Thai chicken was particularly tasty. Unfortunately, three types of ice cream for dessert weren't enough.
Unfortunately, the quality of the food has declined significantly recently. Has the chef perhaps changed? The service has also been better. The waiter is particularly unfriendly, but the manager and waitress are usually friendly. The hot and sour soup is still excellent; the best I've ever tasted!
So far, a good place, very friendly staff, and the food is also okay. The duck was quite tough (the one time I've been there so far), but the selection was okay; at some other Chinese buffets, the sushi selection was a bit larger.
EDIT: The duck is good. I only go there now. Highly recommended!
But BONUS POINT: Almost every dish has a breakdown of allergens and other substances in it. And the trays are constantly being refilled.
The boiled live fish ruined my entire impression of this restaurant. The name of the dish is boiled live fish. In fact, the fish used is very stale and the cooking is very old. Most of the fish used are leftovers. It is incomprehensible that a dish of 30 euros corresponds to such quality. I hope the boss will pay attention to quality control.
It was our first time at Xi Hu, we really liked it,
It was cozy and the staff was nice and attentive,
The food was super tasty,
Seldom eaten so well in a Chinese restaurant,
The beef was tender, the duck was spicy, and the chicken was delicious,
We'd love to come back.
The food was delicious, the prices reasonable, the service excellent, and the food arrived quickly and was hot. However, it was incredibly cold inside. We turned up the heating, but we still had to sit inside with our jackets on. This has happened several times now. It's a shame.
Great food and extremely accommodating staff. We were there with our toddler in a pram (during off-peak hours), and they made sure we were comfortable throughout.
