I can recommend the restaurant with a clear conscience. The food is really delicious and the selection is more than satisfactory. It is always cooked fresh and, above all, glutamate-free. The service and the ambience are great. The boss and the waiters do everything to ensure that every guest is completely satisfied. It's best to reserve a table in advance as it is always very busy. Completely right in my opinion. So, full marks for the restaurant!

After a long journey, we visited the restaurant for the lunch buffet. I rate the quality of the food as rather inferior. What should perhaps be highlighted here are the canned champions dripping with fat. The sushi, on the other hand, was surprisingly boring. However, the ambience completely makes up for this. We sat outside with a clear view of the road, which is also busy with trucks. Thanks to our first two stamps on the customer card, this will certainly not be our last stay.

Good quality, fresh cuisine with crunchy vegetables. Service is friendly. The restaurant is well attended. The buffet was always refilled quickly, except for a few little things that didn't detract from the buffet. The taste wasn't exceptional but it wasn't bad either. I thought the grill area was okay, but unfortunately I preferred my meat to be pink to English. We were asked at the entrance whether we would prefer to go to the quieter area or close to the buffet (it is already quite loud there). So you have the choice. Sitting outside is also possible. We just didn't have a reservation. Due to the weather and the heat car was very warm. But you have to take that into account. At the end there was a free drink, something fruity, nice idea, just very stomach filling. A schnapps on the house was also offered, but we declined. We received a small gift of a small bottle of alcohol on top of the bill plus fortune cookies. It's also nice to be surprised here when it's someone's birthday.

This was my first time ordering takeaway here. The portions were really large and the food tasted very good. The price-performance ratio is great. Unfortunately, the chicken in my meal wasn't cooked through and was crunching between my teeth. Inedible for me and had to be sorted out. I will definitely complain about this the next time I visit the restaurant and hope that my criticism will be taken into account.

I used to like to go to Overath to see the Chinese restaurant, but today Untereschbach is definitely a must at least once a month. The boss and his staff are super nice and the entire kitchen crew does a great job. I definitely recommend that you reserve a table, otherwise you won't get a seat at 6 p.m.

But I was surprised because of the amount just before the break before 3 p.m. and I was even given something because of leftovers from the buffet, I guess... But I was more pleased with the food and the friendliness, as the amount here is not usual elsewhere! Price for H8 and eight treasures under 14.00 euros!! Chicken meat for foreigners too! Conclusion, shortly after the motorway towards Cologne, Untereschach turn right and after a few meters you can eat great food, even outside!!!! Anyone who cooks well and tastes good deserves all the stars from me because of their golden tongue and taste!

Shop seems popular, was very busy. Had to wait a bit, but then got a table. Boss was super correct despite the stress in the store. Food was very good. It just tasted a bit fresher and more natural than other stores. The bamboo, for example, which often comes out of a can (in thin strips), was tastier here than at other Chinese places. This is by far the best Chinese restaurant in the Bergisch Gladbach and Overath area. It's funny when it's someone's birthday, the boss comes to the table and sings a birthday serenade. The buffet is rich and you can choose your own dish and then it's served it freshly prepared.

Today there were 4 of us guests at the China Garden, Untereschbach. Our conclusion: We will be back !!! - Very large selection at the buffet (the best we have encountered so far) - really good quality - exemplary and above-average attentive service. Without being asked, my daughter-in-law (vegetarian) received additional culinary offerings from the kitchen when the waitress noticed. It was our son's birthday (a cake with a candle was on the table) and the attentive service brought a bottle of plum wine with fireworks (sparklers) and sang a serenade. At the end there was a drink on the house. I have rarely experienced such exemplary and attentive service in the catering industry. Keep it up !!!

In short, it was the best buffet meal I've had in a long time. We reserved a table online at short notice for this evening (Saturday, 5 p.m.). At first it seemed like a normal Chinese buffet. Since we were there on the weekend, there was also sushi and grill. Regarding the sushi, I have to say that it was very good for a buffet and there was a good selection (see picture). The quality of the sushi can definitely keep up with a specialized sushi restaurant and does not have a run-of-the-mill taste. The selection and quality of the “normal” buffet was also very good. Unfortunately, we were already too full for dessert, so we couldn't try it. But here too there was a good selection. The staff were also very friendly and accommodating. When we wanted to pay, we were often asked whether everything was OK, as we left relatively quickly (spent about 40 minutes there). We can assure you that we really enjoyed it and were able to leave full and satisfied. :D We will definitely come by more often!!

The first impression of the buffet was really good, a large selection of great dishes and for a good price (€21.90 per person). Lots of well-cooked dishes and excellent different sushi that really doesn't have to be hidden. We spontaneously made a reservation for 5 p.m. on Saturday and were well received by courteous service. When we wanted to pay after our meal, we were asked several times if everything was okay because we weren't there for that long (45-55 minutes). All we can say is that we had really good food and, last but not least, the door was kindly held open for us.

Es ist etwas beengt in dem doch etwas kleineren Restaurant was am SonntagAbendgut besucht war.. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend, aber nie aufdringlich. Die online Tischreservierung war tadellos. Alles in allem waren wir sehr zufrieden.

War soeben dort um das Mittagsbuffet zu genießen. Schöne Einrichtung, gutes Essen. Soweit alles prima. Einziger Wermutstropfen ist die laute, durchdringende und ununterbrochen ertönende Stimme der Chefin (?) , die eine hektische Atmosphäre bis in den Gastraum verbreitet.

Nach dem Umbau aufgrund des Hochwassers 2021, ist das Essen wesentlich besser geworden. Es wird nicht mehr mit Glutamat gekocht, was ich sehr begrüße.

We are so hungry that we need to look for a restaurant to eat dinner and we bumped at this restaurant. Gutes Essen zum fairen Preis ------------------------------ Durch eine ehemalige Schulfreundin, bin ich auf dieses chinesische Restaurant aufmerksam geworden. Wir waren zu unterschiedlichen Zeiten zwei Mal hintereinander dort essen und müssen feststellen, dass super geschmeckt hat . Es gibt dort nicht nur Buffet, sondern man kann sich auch aus diversen Fleischsorten etwas heraus suchen, was dann frisch zubereitet wird. In absoluter Regelmässigkeit wurde das Buffet aufgefüllt. Das Essen war sehr frisch und schmackhaft, aber etwas salzig. Das wäre der einzige Kritikpunkt, wo man "meckern" könnte. Die Servicekräfte waren sehr höflich und haben meine Wünsche bei der Tischreservierung beachtet. Alles in allem ein gutes chinesisches Restaurant. Alles soweit ok, da Essen ist eigentlich sehr lecker 😋 😋, leider ist das Sushi, und die Nachspeisen nach einer Weile optisch unappetitlich. Dadurch das die Leute hier z. Teil wahllos rumwühlen habe ich auf diese Sachen verzichtet. Auch sind die Angestellten sehr überfordert da keine Struktur im Service ist.

Wir gehen immer gerne in den China garden. Das Essen ist lecker und hat ein gutes Preis Leistungsverhältnis. Das Buffet ist reichhaltig und das Service Personal durchgehend freundlich.

Superauswahl bei Buffet, alles da was so ein Chinese bei Essen ausmacht! Sehr, sehr lecker, wird immer sofort nachgelegt wenn mal was fehlen sollte und ausgehen könnte. Ich hatte kürzlich das Vergnügen, das China Restaurant "China Garden" in Overath zu besuchen und wurde von meinem Besuch positiv überrascht. Ein weiterer Pluspunkt des China Garden sind die moderaten Preise. Für die Qualität und Vielfalt der angebotenen Speisen fand ich die Preise mehr als fair.
