Keio Gourmet in Kerken

Eigentlich würde ich lieber gar keinen Stern geben. Wir waren heute Mittag spontan dort. Auswahl sah an sich nicht schlecht aus für das Mittagsbuffet. Aber die Gerichte waren lauwarm, Qualität war eher schlecht, wenn man es mit anderen vergleicht. Also man reinkam ins Restaurant roch es sehr feucht und alt. Der einzige "Kellner", der dort gearbeitet hat (kein Asiate), hat den Mund nicht auf bekommen, weder für ein hallo noch für die Bestellung. Es war nicht wirklich was los, aber man steht nicht nur dumm Rum in Service, schaut auf sein Handy und kaut an seinen Fingernägeln herum. Da würde ich nicht wieder hingehen.

Katastrophe einfach Essen nicht gut Service nicht gut Kellner kaut Fingernägel und bringt die abgekauten Nägel zur Garderobe und steckt die abgekauten Dinger in die Jacke kein Hallo und auf Wiedersehen also gar keine Empfehlung

Keio Gourmet in Kerken überzeugt mit einem sehr guten Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Das Mittagsbuffet ist mit rund 12 Euro sehr günstig und bietet eine große Auswahl an frisch zubereiteten Speisen. Preis- Leistungsverhältnis passt. Es ist immer frisch und sehr lecker 😋 Das Personal ist auch immer freundlich. Kommen schon viele Jahre hierher. Einen kleinen Punkt Abzug gibt es für die Toiletten, die mal eine Erneuerung vertragen könnten.

Essen war ok, Die Bedienung sehr freundlich ,Super sauber und die Lautstärke war SEHR angenehm. ( Wer schon mal in Kevelaer beim Mengu war,weiß was ich meine ). Lg .

Einmal und nie wieder ... Wenn man reinkommt riecht es schon nichts gut. Das Lokal sieht von Innen, auf den ersten Blick ansprechend aus. Doch der Schein trügt. Essen überall nur lauwarm, selbst vom Grill. Geschmacklich kann es nicht mit Wok-In (Tönisberg) oder Xiao (Krefeld-Hüls) mithalten. Waren an einem Freitag Abend dort, lediglich 9 Tische waren besetzt. Gut ist die Getränkeauswahl mit Markengetränken, das wars aber auch. Hygiene auf den Toiletten katastrophal (siehe Foto)! Wir saßen am Fenster und da war Schimmel am Fenster (siehe Foto) Die Auswahl an Essen und Getränken ist für den Preis ok, aber die Qualität an Essen und Sauberkeit vor Ort hält einen davon ab, da erneut hinzugehen. Am liebsten würde ich mir mein Geld wiederholen. Achja, direkt neben dem rohen Fleisch ist eine Tür in den Keller, wo es sehr unsauber aussieht (sie Foto). Außerdem kann man sich Fleisch anbraten lassen, aber Klammern mit den Soßennummer sind ekelig, bah!!! Absolut keine Empfehlung, fahrt lieber woanders hin.

Wir waren Samstag Abend zum Buffet hier. Das Lokal war sehr voll und dementsprechend sehr laut. Die Speisen waren leider nur lauwarm. Wer für 20€ p.P.ein Buffet mit ( leider auch Zebra, Känguru und Hai ) anbietet, muss halt qualitativ anderswo Abstriche machen. Für uns war's nichts, wir kommen nicht wieder.

There's really nothing to complain about. We were there for the first time today and everything was great. We were extremely satisfied; the service was top-notch and we were very friendly. We would come back again and again.

September 2023: Incredibly cheap but delicious. The selection is huge. I think they could increase the lunch price from €10.50 to €14.50, which would be fair. The drinks are also very reasonably priced at €3.40 for a 0.4 liter!

I was there today, August 30, 2025, with my wife, her brother, and his girlfriend for dinner. So now to my problem. My brother-in-law is deaf and severely overweight! It's not easy in itself! But the fact that the kitchen staff and the waiter make fun of him because he's so overweight is the last straw! Before you make fun of people who are 100% disabled and severely overweight, you should first clean up this filthy place! The toilet is disgusting. The floor could really use a cleaning! Unfortunately, I have to give it one star! It's actually 0. Keep making fun of disabled people! Life takes everything back! Just look at yourself!

Very friendly owners, and you can enjoy excellent Chinese food here. There's a wide selection, including an evening buffet. The price of €26.90 is also very reasonable for an all-you-can-eat meal.

A "normal" Asian restaurant with a buffet. We were there during the week, and the prices were around €21 per person, or around €27 with a drinks package. So, within the normal range for such offerings. The food was delicious, and we especially enjoyed the dessert.

We eat here every now and then, usually right around 12 p.m., as the food from the buffet is still nice and fresh and hot. We are mostly satisfied with the food. The quality changes from time to time, but then you have enough other choices. I avoid the ice cream buffet. That looks too unappetizing to me. The service is friendly and attentive. The ambience is like other Chinese restaurants. Keio Gourmet is big, so the coziness falls by the wayside. I think it's a shame that it's so cold in the room in winter. Last time I was on the verge of putting on my winter jacket during my stay.

Very disappointed on my last visit. Food felt like it tasted like "nothing", tasted rather like someone else had already reported, "musty" and some of it wasn't even warm anymore. So for the price we would have expected more. It was our last visit here for the time being, because even a few months before it was anything but good. We thought we would give it another chance but unfortunately we were far from it!

There are hardly any guests in the shop, the food is mostly cold and tastes musty. And the prices for what you get are ridiculous. Unfortunately I would never recommend the store. There are much better alternatives for the money.

We have feasted here many times when we were in this area. Each time we were more than satisfied with the food on offer. The prices for lunch during the week tempt you to visit more often. Unfortunately we live far too far away (630km) to come here often. But when we're in this area, a visit is a must because it's so good!

My absolute favorite Chinese! The best dish for me is the salmon with black bean sauce.

On the way home from Irrland we wanted to try the buffet. It was ok, but the plates were cold and the food was quick. Service seemed very unmotivated to annoyed, even if it was quick. The ambience is not our case and the chairs on the floor are more than annoying as they are very loud at the back. The first and probably only time for us.

We were there on a Sunday for happy hours and the buffet was rich and sufficient. There's really not much you can say against the food, except that tastes are different. The ambience has a Mongolian touch, but is more canteen-like. Cleanliness is fine as long as you don't use the toilets. Unfortunately, these are pretty dirty, have no windows and therefore smell unpleasant. The toilet door handles were sticky and there were no paper towels to dry your hands.

We ate there for happy hour on a Sunday lunchtime about 4 weeks ago. The buffet was rich and everyone enjoyed it. There was nothing to complain about with the food or service. What didn't work for me, however, was that the heating was completely switched off. We froze well. So it wasn't a pleasant afternoon. So I don't think I'll go there anymore.
