The food was okay, the service very friendly, it was spotlessly clean, and the noise level was very pleasant. (Anyone who's been to Mengu in Kevelaer knows what I mean.) Best regards.

Never again... The smell is off as soon as you walk in. The interior looks appealing at first glance, but appearances are deceiving. The food was lukewarm everywhere, even the grilled items. Taste-wise, it can't compare to Wok-In (Tönisberg) or Xiao (Krefeld-Hüls). We were there on a Friday evening, and only nine tables were occupied. The selection of brand-name drinks was good, but that's about it. The hygiene in the restrooms was appalling (see photo)! We sat by the window, and there was mold on the window (see photo). The selection of food and drinks is okay for the price, but the quality of the food and the cleanliness alone are enough to make you never want to go back. I'd love a refund. Oh, and right next to the raw meat is a door to the cellar, which looks very dirty (see photo). You can also have meat cooked to order, but the sauce clips are disgusting, yuck!!! Absolutely not recommended, go somewhere else.

We went to the buffet here on Saturday evening. The restaurant was very crowded and consequently very noisy. Unfortunately, the food was only lukewarm. If you're offering a buffet for €20 per person (including, sadly, zebra, kangaroo, and shark), you have to make compromises in quality elsewhere. It wasn't for us; we won't be back.

Delicious food and good conditions

There's really nothing to complain about. We were there for the first time today and everything was great. We were extremely satisfied; the service was top-notch and we were very friendly. We would come back again and again.

Last weekend, I picked up chicken curry and vegetable noodles for the first time to try with fried wonton. They were a hit, so we'll be eating there again soon...

Update October 5, 2025 It's absurd how large the selection has become; the meat and fish selection is even too large in my opinion! The quality has improved even further, and the prices for all-you-can-eat and drink are unbeatable. We now come more than once a year!!! July 2024: Great! September 2023: Incredibly cheap but delicious. The selection is huge. I think they could increase the lunch price from €10.50 to €14.50, which would be fair. The drinks are also very reasonably priced at €3.40 for a 0.4 liter!

Unfortunately, there's no Wi-Fi hotspot. Our Babi Pangang was very disappointing. There were far too few pieces of meat, and the pieces were cut too small.

I was there today, August 30, 2025, with my wife, her brother, and his girlfriend for dinner. So now to my problem. My brother-in-law is deaf and severely overweight! It's not easy in itself! But the fact that the kitchen staff and the waiter make fun of him because he's so overweight is the last straw! Before you make fun of people who are 100% disabled and severely overweight, you should first clean up this filthy place! The toilet is disgusting. The floor could really use a cleaning! Unfortunately, I have to give it one star! It's actually 0. Keep making fun of disabled people! Life takes everything back! Just look at yourself!

Very friendly owners, and you can enjoy excellent Chinese food here. There's a wide selection, including an evening buffet. The price of €26.90 is also very reasonable for an all-you-can-eat meal.

We eat here every now and then, usually right around 12 p.m., as the food from the buffet is still nice and fresh and hot. We are mostly satisfied with the food. The quality changes from time to time, but then you have enough other choices. I avoid the ice cream buffet. That looks too unappetizing to me. The service is friendly and attentive. The ambience is like other Chinese restaurants. Keio Gourmet is big, so the coziness falls by the wayside. I think it's a shame that it's so cold in the room in winter. Last time I was on the verge of putting on my winter jacket during my stay.

Very disappointed on my last visit. Food felt like it tasted like "nothing", tasted rather like someone else had already reported, "musty" and some of it wasn't even warm anymore. So for the price we would have expected more. It was our last visit here for the time being, because even a few months before it was anything but good. We thought we would give it another chance but unfortunately we were far from it!

There are hardly any guests in the shop, the food is mostly cold and tastes musty. And the prices for what you get are ridiculous. Unfortunately I would never recommend the store. There are much better alternatives for the money.

We have feasted here many times when we were in this area. Each time we were more than satisfied with the food on offer. The prices for lunch during the week tempt you to visit more often. Unfortunately we live far too far away (630km) to come here often. But when we're in this area, a visit is a must because it's so good!

My absolute favorite Chinese! The best dish for me is the salmon with black bean sauce.

On the way home from Irrland we wanted to try the buffet. It was ok, but the plates were cold and the food was quick. Service seemed very unmotivated to annoyed, even if it was quick. The ambience is not our case and the chairs on the floor are more than annoying as they are very loud at the back. The first and probably only time for us.

We were there on a Sunday for happy hours and the buffet was rich and sufficient. There's really not much you can say against the food, except that tastes are different. The ambience has a Mongolian touch, but is more canteen-like. Cleanliness is fine as long as you don't use the toilets. Unfortunately, these are pretty dirty, have no windows and therefore smell unpleasant. The toilet door handles were sticky and there were no paper towels to dry your hands.

We ate there for happy hour on a Sunday lunchtime about 4 weeks ago. The buffet was rich and everyone enjoyed it. There was nothing to complain about with the food or service. What didn't work for me, however, was that the heating was completely switched off. We froze well. So it wasn't a pleasant afternoon. So I don't think I'll go there anymore.

I met a friend here for lunch...it was great...super large selection...of everything, starters, salads, fish, meat, various rice dishes, pasta, soups, every fruit-sized dessert Buffet and and and... AMBIENCE:::: OUTWARDLY.... a bit unkempt, the advertising on and around the house is a bit dingy (that's why I never went there), no or little floral decorations or plants. After the service table you enter 1 large room with many tables. It doesn't necessarily seem cozy or inviting, but because of the delicious food and the prices (lunch buffet €11.20), the shop is always packed...which I can understand very well...but I still think a bit of cosiness would be great .... Nonetheless, despite.....guys, you're doing great....super great!!!!

Geschmacklich fanden wir es nicht so toll, aber schlecht war es auch nicht. Was ich gar nicht gut fand: wir wollten aus der normalen Karte bestellen,weil wir beide gar nicht so viel essen können und wollen. Aber das geht am Wochenende gar nicht. Dann gibt es nur Buffet. Auf der Website sollte das wenigstens angegeben sein. Die Auswahl ist ok und die Bedienung war auch nett. Demnächst gehen wir lieber woanders hin.
