Restaurant Urig in Kerken

Ambiente: Im Sommer auf der Terrasse 5 Sterne Auf der Fahrt mit dem Wohnmobil nach Frankreich mache ich gerne einen Zwischenstop in Aldekerk und kehren dann eigentlich immer im URIG ein. Das Essen ist sehr gut, der Service aufmerksam und zuvorkommend.

Köstliches Essen, ein herrlicher Außenbereich und fantastisches Personal. Wir haben unser Essen sehr genossen.

Update : Waren heute wieder im Urig zum Essen. Der Service und die Speisen waren exzellente. Habe weiterhin absolut Nichts auszusetzen und kann das Restaurant uneingeschränkt gerne weiter empfehlen. 🙂👍 ------------------------------------- Ich kann diese ganzen 5 Sterne Bewertungen sehr gut nachvollziehen! Tatsächlich würde ich hier gerne deutlich mehr Sterne vergeben! Mindestens 20 oder so! Wir waren das erste Mal im Urig und ich muss sagen, was für ein rundum gelungener und fantastischer Abend! Angefangen beim sehr aufmerksamen, sympathischen und durchaus zuvorkommenden Servicepersonal! Wir wurden immer gefragt, ob wir gut versorgt seien und wurden trotz großem Andrang an einem Montagabend zügig und stets freundlich bedient. Das kühle Bier vom Fass war bei den Temperaturen die perfekte Erfrischung! Die servierten Speisen waren geschmacklich so mega gut, dass man am liebsten noch eine zweite Portion bestellt hätte. Die Atmosphäre auf der Terrasse und die Gestaltung der Terrasse waren so aufeinander abgestimmt, dass ich vor Begeisterung so fasziniert war, dass ich mich zusammenreißen musste, nicht zu weinen vor Freude. 😀 Die Toiletten waren auch sehr sauber und auch sonst habe ich wirklich rein gar Nichts auszusetzen! Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist wirklich spitzenmäßig! Selten so gut gegessen für den Preis! Wirklich Chapeau für so viel Liebe in jedem Detail! Ich kann nur Jedem einen Besuch im Urig empfehlen. Ich könnte diese Rezension noch ewig fortführen. Herzlichen Dank für so einen tollen Abend! Wir kommen künftig definitiv öfter und freuen uns auf unseren nächsten Besuch!

Es war voll, trotzdem wurde man schnell wahrgenommen. Das Restaurant ist sehr schön, sauber und gemütlich. Der Service sehr freundlich. Der Grillteller war gut, es fehlte etwas an Jugoslawischem Pepp. Beim nächsten Landgang komme wieder. Danke

Es stimmt, die Rippchen sind was ganz besonderes. Der Grillteller hat es aber auch in sich. Die Cevapcici haben uns direkt an Kroatien erinnert. Einfach lecker. Hier stimmt das Preis - Leistungsverhältnis. Das Ambiente und der Service echt super. Danke, dass ihr euch so ins Zeug legt. Wir kommen wieder, so bald wir wieder in der Nähe sind.

Wir saßen zu acht im Biergarten und hatten einen sehr schönen Abend. Reservierung war notwendig. Leider hat mir mein Essen nicht gut geschmeckt, aber alle Anderen waren zufrieden und darum lag es wohl an mir.

Ja, das "Urig" ist urig, wir haben uns sofort wohlgefühlt. Sehr freundliches Personal und leckere Speisen mit großen Portionen. Vom Wohnmobilstellplatz nur wenige Minuten Fußweg. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder.

Das Essen war sehr lecker (bis auf das Steak, das hätte 30 Sekunden länger gebraten werden können. Die Bedienung war sehr nett.

Ein gemütliches Lokal - leckere Speisen, guter Wein, schönes Ambiente und sehr nettes Personal. Wer hier mit Qualität, Geschmack sowie Preis-/Leistung nicht zufrieden ist, der ist nie zufrieden. Am Sonntag um 17 Uhr war es sehr gut besucht und entsprechend laut. Das Essen war gut aber auch nichts besonderes. Erwähnenswert ist aber die richtige Schlagsahne auf dem Eis, keine Sprühsahne!

Das Restaurant ist einfach super. Essen ist sehr lecker. Wer auf Grill Teller steht und auch was knobiges mag, ist dort super aufgehoben. Die haben eine Große Speisekarte. Achja Tisch reservieren nicht vergessen

Hallo zusammen, ich bin mit meiner Frau des öfteren im Restaurant zum Abendessen oder auch im Sommer im sehr schönen Biergarten...Am 28.11.25 waren wir mit der Firma zum Weihnachtsessen mit 25 Personen...und was soll ich sage, sehr gutes Essen, toller und aufmerksamer Service...rund um perfekt... Der kleine, frische Salat passte hervorragend dazu. Zum Nachtisch gab es einen Palatschinken mit Schokoladensauce und Vanille-Eis – ein echtes Highlight! Der Crêpe war locker, die Schokosauce intensiv und das Eis wunderbar cremig. Ein rundum gelungenes Essen in gemütlicher Atmosphäre. Klare Empfehlung!

Ich hatte Kalbsleber und die war sehr zart und lecker. Der Service war sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Habe mich wohl gefühlt und kann nichts negatives sagen. Das Ambiente ist Geschmackssache, eher rustikal.

There were 24 of us...very friendly service, delicious food, from rump steak to salads and fish dishes...most importantly, we all got our food quickly! This won't be our last visit here, thank you for a wonderful evening.

We were regular customers until recently. The food is quite good. We usually ordered and picked up our food. Unfortunately, very often large items such as side dishes or entire meals were missing. We always complained about this by phone, but apart from apologies we received little. Collection is difficult because the food would then have been cold. There is a lack of staff to deliver. Last time it happened again. There were no fries and neither was a complete meal. I noticed the missing meal and reordered it. The finished meal had to wait. Of course, we only noticed the missing fries when we got home. When we asked, we were apologized for and promised a voucher. In my opinion, very fair and customer-friendly. Unfortunately, we never received this, although we had contact via the internet and with the restaurant management. What a shame.

We were there for the first time today. We had made a reservation in advance, which was a good thing, as it was very busy. The restaurant, as the name suggests, has a rustic atmosphere. The food was delicious, the prices were reasonable, and the staff were very nice and friendly. Highly recommended; we will definitely eat there again soon.

International cuisine with a good impression. The interior design reflects the name "Urig" (rustic). The many tables outside are set up in a modern, Mediterranean style. The food was delicious, and we got our money's worth (see pictures). Unfortunately, the service was a bit slow, and we had to wait a while for empty drinks. But that didn't dampen our spirits...

We eat there very often and are always very satisfied. After making a reservation, we usually get our favorite spot. The seating is very comfortable. The service is friendly and attentive. There are often seasonal dishes (special menu), which we always enjoyed. We particularly recommend: Ribs with a twist, Chicken Milanese, Lamb Shank, Pike-perch Fillet with Grilled Vegetables, and Spicy Schnitzel. For dessert: Pancakes. Since we eat there almost every two weeks, everything speaks for very good hosts.

We ate there on Friday evening after calling to see if there was a table available. You should definitely do that, as I think this restaurant is relatively fully booked. We were a bit surprised by the menu, as the name gives no indication that it is a Balkan restaurant. The service was very friendly, but as usual the salad arrived within minutes and wasn't anything special, just lots of greens and coleslaw, but at least you could choose between two different dressings. I had a starter of burrata and cocktail tomatoes with balsamic dressing. €12.50 is a hefty price, but it was very tasty. I chose a classic Lord Charles grill plate, which was okay, but also not a highlight. Basically a Balkan grill plate. The price-performance ratio is okay, though. My wife had the rump steak, which was also okay, but in my opinion, without a classic fatty crust, I suspect it wasn't rump steak, but more like rump steak. All in all, it was okay, but it won't be a regular for us.

Highly recommended. Good value for money, very tasty, generous portions, and attentive service. The name says it all, and when the weather's nice, it's also very nice to sit outside. We'll be back.

We've eaten there a few times now, and yesterday the food was once again delicious and the evening was lovely. The staff is very friendly and pleasant, and you feel at home. The price-performance ratio is also absolutely excellent. We've already tried several dishes, and the preparation is always top-notch. We'll definitely be back. Friendly staff. Good atmosphere. Tasty food. When we were there the restaurant was full. We were very lucky that they still had 1 table. If we had been there a little later, they would not have had a place. Reservations are therefore recommended. In terms of parking space, it was full in front of the restaurant, but there was still plenty of parking space a little further away (near the sports center). We had a fresh salad as a starter and then schnitzel with fries.

Wir waren zum 90. Geburtstag von meiner Oma, mit 24 Personen hier. Alles hat super und reibungslos geklappt. Wir haben nach Karte bestellt und das Essen war sehr schnell da, auch wenn jeder was anderes hatte. Das Essen war sehr lecker und die Auswahl auf der Karte war perfekt. Das Restaurant und auch der Außenbereich sieht sehr schön und gemütlich aus. Die Bedienung war sehr nett und freundlich 👍 Wir werden definitiv wieder kommen 🤗

Very nice restaurant with a large outdoor terrace

Quaint, cozy atmosphere, very spacious, you could choose whether you wanted to sit quietly in private or in larger rooms with more people around. The dips were very tasty, the gnocchi with wild mushrooms were not that high quality, the prawns were again excellent and the wine was also good. Very friendly staff!

We had dinner there with a group. Very noisy hall, not enough waitresses. Food wasn't that special
