A great restaurant - delicious food, good wine, in a nice atmosphere and with very nice staff. The 60th anniversary celebration was more than to our satisfaction! Price/performance - perfectly balanced. We would love to come back❣

Restaurant Urig is without a doubt my absolute favorite restaurant in the area. As soon as you enter the restaurant you immediately feel welcome. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, and the rustic ambience makes you feel at home. The menu offers an excellent selection of regional and seasonal dishes that are always freshly prepared. I am particularly impressed by the meat dishes, which are always grilled to perfection and taste simply fantastic. The quality of the ingredients is really outstanding and you can tell that the cooking here is done with great attention to detail. But the vegetarian dishes are also a real treat and show that the restaurant has something to offer for every taste. Another plus point is the friendly and attentive service. The staff are always helpful and always have a smile on their faces. No matter whether you need a recommendation or want a small change to the dish - the team is always flexible and responds to the guests' wishes. You can feel that passion is put into the work here. The price-performance ratio is also absolutely right. The portions are generous and the prices are more than fair for the quality of the food. The outdoor area is also particularly beautiful and invites you to linger in the summer. When the weather is good, you can eat outdoors and enjoy the rural surroundings. All in all, the Urig restaurant is a real insider tip in the Aldekerk region. It combines great food, a cozy atmosphere and excellent service. For me it is the perfect place to spend a nice evening - whether with family, friends or as a couple. I am happy every time I eat there and can highly recommend it to everyone.

The employees are friendly, cheerful and quick. The dining room is inviting and the wood makes it really "rustic". The food was good and had a good price-performance ratio. What is particularly noteworthy is that as a large group (approx. 5 tables) we received our food shortly after ordering and also Pretty much at the same time, what could be improved is that there was only one employee at the card payment terminal and there was a queue. Overall, it was a very nice evening.

A beautiful restaurant in a tranquil Kerken with a large outdoor area. Have reserved in advance. Locally very very busy for a Monday. We came here spontaneously with 4 adults and 2 children. Very nice service. Very chic atmosphere. Food came very quickly, was warm and absolutely delicious. Toilets clean, changing table available. Come back next time 👍🏼

Disappointed 😞 €3.20 for warm beer... not to be enjoyed..no response despite complaints? The food was okay...recommended by the house="€28 for a piece of cold cuts of beef with 3 chanterelles and 6 pieces of 1/2 potatoes...it tasted good but it wasn't a revelation. Carelessly prepared Veal liver very good and tasty. Salad at the forefront... honey mustard dressing was sparsely distributed, the salad was fresh. Service very friendly, but poor response after the beer complaints? "But someone was there...something still needs to be adjusted." As a guest, I don't care.

We had dinner at a restaurant with friends yesterday and it was pretty disappointing. The price-performance ratio doesn't fit at all. I had a dish for 30€ with different types of meat. For the price it was absolutely not enough. It looked like it was leftover pieces. The meat wasn't seasoned at all and the rice wasn't even cooked yet. The grill plate for 2 people for €50 was also a joke. There wasn't even enough on the plate for 2 people, we really promised ourselves something better after the great review at my local your local. Absolutely not recommended although the staff is super attentive and extremely friendly.

We had a lovely evening in the Urig. Despite a full house on a Monday evening, all of our special requests were accepted and implemented. The place is “quaint”! -cozy.

We were guests here for the second time in two months with around 20 people. This time without a reservation out of "emergency". The "small" hall was spontaneously prepared for us. It is a top address. The landlady and her staff are very nice and attentive. The restaurant is very nice. And the food is fantastic. It was very delicious. Everyone went home excited. Everything is just right here. Waiting times are normal. We can recommend this hospitable restaurant and will be happy to come back.

We have been to the Urig restaurant several times. The restaurant had a cozy atmosphere, a great outdoor terrace and the price-performance ratio was very good. We enjoyed a delicious dinner. The service was friendly and we felt completely at home. It was a nice evening and we look forward to visiting the restaurant again soon.

I'm just reading that "Urig" appears on a TV show. My assessment of this: A year ago as part of a 70th birthday, I ordered a salmon fillet with grilled vegetables. I have never!!! Being served such burnt vegetables as here in this restaurant. Inedible. No comment from staff.

A good restaurant with a menu that was too big for us. But the quality of the food is good. Just “Balkan” cuisine with lots of meat dishes, all well and tastefully prepared. Salad with great dressing and you are asked in advance which dressing is included with the side salad. The ambience is tasteful and you wouldn't suspect it from the outside. It's definitely very comfortable on the terrace in the summer. We were there on a Saturday evening and I would advise everyone to reserve a table, but it was fully booked. We were with a large group and everyone received their food almost at the same time. Chapeau If we ever feel like eating meat again, we'll definitely go back.

It's ok but it didn't convince me. A pity.

We came without a reservation and luckily got a table. The people who came after us without a reservation couldn't get a table. The food came very quickly, the portions were very generous and the food was very tasty. The only thing that was a bit annoying was that we were asked 6 times during the meal if everything was OK. Once or twice would have been enough. If we are in the area again we will definitely stop there again. But then with a reservation to be sure to get a table again.

For me, the varied menu is just right, I love the ambience and the service is super nice. We always like to go there with the whole family because it's easy to sit a little further away. Clear recommendation👍

Die Getränke und das Essen ließen sehr lange auf sich warten. Das Essen war in Ordnung, nichts außergewöhnliches, dementsprechend hielt ich die Preise für etwas hoch. Als der Kellner dann aber auch noch unfreundlich auf die teils englischsprachigen Gäste reagierte, war klar, dass dieses Restaurant eine schlechte Rezension bekommen würde. Das Ambiente war ok, sonst leider nicht viel. Es gab noch mehr Pannen, aber das soll an dieser Stelle reichen, um diesen einen Stern zurechtfertigen. Edit: lassen schlechte Bewertungen durch den Google Support löschen. Das hat bei mir leider nicht geklappt, ich lasse mich von "entspricht nicht [...] den rechtlichen Vorgaben" nicht einschüchtern ;)

Waren kurzentschlossen bei unserem Ausflug eingekehrt. Hatten Glück, dass wir mit unseren Kleinkindern einem Platz bekommen haben, weil es sehr voll war und wir keine Reservierung hatten. Das Restaurant macht seinem Namen alle Ehre, die Einrichtung ist sehr urig, und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Das freundliche Personal war sehr freundlich, Kinderstühle sind vorhanden. Das Essen war sehr lecker, die Karte ist sehr Ballan-geprägt. Meine Frau hatte die 'Rippchen einmal anders' und ich Lord Charles. Beide Gerichte waren sehr lecker, üppige Portionen zu fairen Preisen bei super Qualität. Unseren Kindern hat es auch gut geschmeckt. Kindergerichte waren auch auf der Karte.

Tolles Ambiente, kleine Nischen zum sitzen. Das Servicepersonal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, auch wenn viel zu tun ist. Das Essen ist empfehlenswert. Es gibt auch draußen Sitzmöglichkeiten. Gerne wieder.

Eine sehr schöne Terasse mit viel Sitzplätzen. Die Atmosphere war stets privat und gemütlich. Freudliches und hilfsbereites Personal, unkonventionel. Wir hatten ein Freundinnentreffen und waren von 17-22 Uhr dort. Erst draussen und als es kühl wurde drinnen. Wir fühlten uns die ganze Zeit willkommen und alles ist dem Kunden entsprechend Lösungsorientiert.

Wir waren heute zu unserem Jahrestag dort essen. Leider sehr enttäuschend. Das Essen war leider TK Ware, wie z. B. das Schnitzel. Die Pommes waren blass und der Salat nicht mehr ganz so frisch. Der Nachtisch war leider auch nicht so schmackhaft. Wir hatten den Lavakuchen. Der Kuchen war viel zu kühl, sodass der Kern kaum auslief. Das dazu servierte Eis hatte teils Eiskristalle. Die Bedienung war sehr kurz ab. Mein Hauptgericht hatte ich nicht ganz aufbekommen und bat den Kellner diese einzupacken. Dieses wurde komplett vergessen. Laut Bewertungen von 4,7 Sternen haben wir uns mehr erhofft. Zu Loben war das Ambiente. Optisch wirklich sehr schön. Dennoch kommen wir nicht mehr wieder. Es soll schliesslich schmecken.

Urig - Name ist Programm. Habe noch keinen mitgeschleppt der hinterher nicht genauso begeistert war wie ich. Service super, essen absolut lecker. Portionen groß und bestes preisleistungsverhältnis. Da kommt man gerne immer und immer wieder hin für einen urigen schönen Abend. Bestellt unbedingt eine Vorspeise ❤️

Sehr schön da. Waren eine größere Truppe. Hatte relativ lange gedauert bis wir essen bestellen konnten. Nachdem es aber bestellt war ging es super schnell. Essen vom geschmack war auch super.

Ich kann diese ganzen 5 Sterne Bewertungen sehr gut nachvollziehen! Tatsächlich würde ich hier gerne deutlich mehr Sterne vergeben! Mindestens 20 oder so! Wir waren das erste Mal im Urig und ich muss sagen, was für ein rundum gelungener und fantastischer Abend! Angefangen beim sehr aufmerksamen, sympathischen und durchaus zuvorkommenden Servicepersonal! Wir wurden immer gefragt, ob wir gut versorgt seien und wurden trotz großem Andrang an einem Montagabend zügig und stets freundlich bedient. Das kühle Bier vom Fass war bei den Temperaturen die perfekte Erfrischung! Die servierten Speisen waren geschmacklich so mega gut, dass man am liebsten noch eine zweite Portion bestellt hätte. Die Atmosphäre auf der Terrasse und die Gestaltung der Terrasse waren so aufeinander abgestimmt, dass ich vor Begeisterung so fasziniert war, dass ich mich zusammenreißen musste, nicht zu weinen vor Freude. 😀 Die Toiletten waren auch sehr sauber und auch sonst habe ich wirklich rein gar Nichts auszusetzen! Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist wirklich spitzenmäßig! Selten so gut gegessen für den Preis! Wirklich Chapeau für so viel Liebe in jedem Detail! Ich kann nur Jedem einen Besuch im Urig empfehlen. Ich könnte diese Rezension noch ewig fortführen. Herzlichen Dank für so einen tollen Abend! Wir kommen künftig definitiv öfter und freuen uns auf unseren nächsten Besuch!
