Compared to his beginners, the Taipan has unfortunately been on a negative trend for several years. At peak times you feel more like you're in mass processing and the quality of the food still has room for improvement. I keep hearing about people who, by hook or by crook, stuff themselves with absurd amounts of food so that the visit - given the prices - is somehow worth it. In my opinion, a good buffet should make you feel like you've invested your money well because of the quality of the food. Instead, you're more likely to curl up on the couch at home because of stomach pain.

Lunch buffet was okay, service was very bad, we had to put our empty dishes into the cart ourselves...it takes forever to order drinks...the expensive price is no justification for what you get.

The buffet was really great. The price for this is absolutely fair. I only deduct a point because it was very loud in some places due to the room. We sat a little apart. Everything was okay there.

The food was delicious during my visit and refills were also provided. However, the price of 28.80 per person plus drinks is very expensive. We had to pay almost 200 euros with 5 people. The restaurant was only moderately busy.

Mass processing The tastiest thing is definitely the food that you can have prepared. Sushi, dessert is also good. The finished food is often empty, and on weekends and at peak times you find yourself at a full buffet. There are not enough parking spaces at these times. The ambience is getting better but unfortunately there are still a lot of unsightly walls/ceilings. Drinks flat rate is of course wonderful. The feeling of cozy and delicious food is rather negative. You can definitely eat a lot and drink a lot there. Swiss people literally storm this restaurant. The restaurant needs to expand, the buffet needs to be bigger in different corners, ideally where you have to walk because it is just too full.

Very tasty food at fair prices, very quick and friendly staff, very clean and great ambience. We really enjoy eating there and will continue to do so.

As a regular guest for years, I unfortunately have to say that the quality increasingly leaves something to be desired

Have been eating here regularly for over 20 years. Always been very satisfied. Been here again for two years now and just disappointed. The staff is moving at a highly motivated snail's pace and is not making any progress. In addition, it only has half the teeth in its mouth, which makes it less appetizing when eating. The buffet was always only half full because it was hardly refilled. What made things worse was that the food was very dry and simply didn't taste good. The prices have been increased, but the staff and food are significantly worse - that doesn't add up. It's a shame, I hope China Palace Haiger can get this under control again.

Asians, don’t come here. This restaurant is not friendly to Asians. Be respectful to white people. White people will be given priority when empty seats are available. All white people’s dishes must be served before Asian food is served. Asians will be scolded if they don’t order drinks. It’s clear that the boss lady Speak Chinese with the employees, but require the Chinese to speak German with them. Someone posted about this, and the wife of the boss also commented that she graduated from Tsinghua University. The person who posted the message came to Germany after failing to get into university in China😅

Delicious food and very good selection

1. Cooked vegetables taste with rancid oil smell. The raw materials e.g. the pork is not fresh, it doesn't taste good or is very old. 2. The cooking technique is without cooking technology, e.g. Pork with Sarlic Sauce was cooked with the spice bag that you can easily buy from Suppermakrt. Spice bag doesn't taste good, and the preservatives in it is not healthy. 3. Unpleasant. Ordering via Robert or iPad would be better, at least it doesn't make any mistakes.

Unfortunately, it was no longer the same as I knew this place....... The buffet with ready-made dishes wasn't appealing...... On the other hand, there was hardly any choice when it came to the raw ingredients on the other side, which you could put together yourself and they were just there actually ice packs on top 🙈 so not protected... but just on the raw fish or raw meat In addition, the plates were mostly damaged....... Clean and good is different....... I won't go there again
