Very tasty food and very friendly staff

The manager treats Chinese guests differently than other guests and offers little service. I've noticed that fewer and fewer Chinese people are coming to eat at the restaurant. The food is okay, but there are better Chinese restaurants in Munich.

The dishes didn't come out for an hour after we ordered them. The dishes of several tables of foreigners who came half an hour or forty minutes later than us were all served. This is the first time I have seen such a level of fawning on foreigners. I paid for the drinks and left. I will never go there again. Chinese people should avoid it.

The boss and the clerk were always sullen. They pretended not to speak Chinese even though they knew how to speak it. They had an inexplicable sense of superiority.

Food is just sub par at best, the worst part about this place is that the lady owner has a horrible service attitude, the 2 younger waiters are fine. When you do not order a drink, the owner will glare at you with a very and rude face as if you have committed a sin. Even got scolded by her because I drank from my own water bottle. This restaurant is really interesting. I came here to eat a long time ago. My companions and I had a very unpleasant dining experience with flies, bees and the arrogance of the service staff. It was so unpleasant that I would not recommend anyone to eat in this restaurant. Then a week ago, I received an email that Honghong reported my review to Google, saying that my review was defamatory and then the review was removed. So Honghong relied on crazy deletion of bad reviews to get a higher score. I don't understand, is it so difficult to tell the truth when eating in a restaurant? The food is not good, the service is super bad, and the boss has the energy to delete my review instead of improving these shortcomings?

It's very delicious. I can only say that Honghong's chef has special skills. Apart from my girlfriend whom I have never met, he is the only one who can easily control my stomach.

Authentic Chinese cooking is served here. It tastes amazing. You should definitely ask your waiter for advice. We were impressed. They need two more round tables ;-)

Poorly seasoned food. You pay only in cash but it is not written anywhere. While we were going back to the hotel to get the cash, they asked us for our phone hostage.

I often go to the Honghong Noodles restaurant on Leopoldstrsse, and I didn’t know they have the other one a bit outside of the city. The food is yummy, the dish is good taste, the service is good too. Would like to come back.

Authentisches Chinarestaurant - Gerichte geschmacklich sehr gut gewürzt, frische Zutaten und unheimlich lecker. Nicht umsonst findet man dort sehr viele asiatische Gäste. Die Portionen sind zum Teilen - also am besten eine bunte Auswahl bestellen und von allem probieren. Die „Schärfe-Angaben“ unbedingt ernst nehmen. Wir hatten die 361 - langsam gekochtes Rindfleich mit Chilli, Szechuan-Pfeffer und Sprossen… ein aussergewöhnliches Geschmackserlebnis. Die Bedienung ist sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich - je nach Besucherzahl kann es allerdings etwas dauern, bis das Essen kommt - dafür ist es frisch!

The taste is strongly adapted to European preferences - more reminiscent of typical Asian restaurants in the country than of the more authentic restaurants in downtown Munich. What we also noticed and was also confirmed by previous guests: Non-Chinese guests were served much more friendly and attentively. Probably because they are more likely to tip. I found it kind of a shame and unnecessarily obvious.

Extremely tasty authentic Chinese food, we had the glass noodle salad, Szechuan chicken wings, pork belly and stir fried rape flowers. There was easily enough for 4 people, the 3 of us still had leftovers! Service was friendly, especially our canine welcoming committee… 😍

Personal zur Mittagszeit überfordert, unaufmerksam, unhöflich, ignorant, Essen ungenießbar und auf Karte zudem falsch beschrieben, unverhandelbar, aggressiv, hab mit Übelkeit, weiterhin hungrig und 25 Euro umsonst das Lokal verlassen. "Mündliche Vertrag..." "falsche Produktbeschreibung" "müsse bezahlen"... wäre ich allein dagewesen, hätte ich nicht bezahlt und es mit Polizei eskalieren lassen. Und ich bin sehr verträglich im Leben. Außer ich hab Hunger und werde dann verar.... Also konkret: Es war Nr. 171, gebratenes Hühnchen mit Kreuzkümmel, Paprika, Zwiebeln bestellt. Es kam ein Berg fritierte unförmiger fettriefender, krosser filigraner Teigskelette mit 4% vermutetem Fleischanteil (Hühnerfüße?), keine Sauce, staubtrocken, ranziges Fett, dünnste Streifen angebratener Lauch als Deko. Nur der Kreuzkümmel war echt. Weil erst keiner der 3 reagierte (reklamieren, Sauce bestellen, Beilage Paprika...?) aß ich etwas davon, worauf mir echt übel wurde. Mangoschorle schmeckte auch übergärig... ich bin noch nie so ignorant behandelt worden. Eine Begleiterin musste auch ein zweites Essen bestellen und bezahlen, weil das erste ungenießbar versalzen war. Bei herkömmlichen Gerichten (Thaicurry) mit Fertigsauce und Reis gibt's die Fehler anscheinend nicht, die Unhöflichkeit jedoch gratis. Doch persönlich und kulinarisch ist es ein Griff ins Klo.

Small restaurant with simple furnishings but delicious food

Revision of my rating. After not being there for years, I have now visited the restaurant twice and there has been a positive change. The landlady and her staff were extremely friendly. We didn't have to wait as long as we used to and the prices are very reasonable for the portion size and quality of the food. However, a little work could be done on the cleanliness and the ambience and it still sometimes takes a long time. Nevertheless, a significant improvement that I would like to honor.

We have enjoyed coming to this restaurant for many years with excellent cuisine and very warm, great service. We particularly appreciate that there are dishes that are not offered in other Asian restaurants and everything tastes excellent, for example the eggplant and the pointed cabbage.

Great food and great value for money

We only ordered to pick up, but it was delicious as always! The food was already ready when I picked it up after 20 minutes. The main courses were still very hot even after we had eaten the starters. Large portions that will fill you up twice!

Decided to try this place for the first time after living in Garching for more than 3 years now. I had always assumed that the reviews were exaggerated but this is unfortunately not the case. While the baozi as a starter were pretty alright, the rest of our meal, consisting of two types of fried noodles with beef was very disappointing. Everything was much too oily and salty but somehow bland at the same time. Despite the restaurant being quite budget friendly overall, I still thought that with the combination of poor quality and small portion sizes I paid too much. Service was also an odd experience. A lady server who I gather from other reviews must be the owner, seemed to just want us gone as fast as possible despite the fact that there was no one else in the restaurant. Additionally, my girlfriend, who was looking towards the kitchen, noticed that the staff were at times staring at us and snickering, which became quite noticeable in a completely empty restaurant. Safe to say, I will not be returning as there are much better options in the area.

I gave the store a chance several times but that was the last time. The owner is as !always! very unfriendly and impolite. The quality of the food has decreased enormously... but the prices have increased enormously!! Now as a whole it's a complete disaster - zero!!! Never again.

The food is great, especially the spicy dishes (one peperoni is nice, not too spicy; two is already powerful and with three, you have to be used to spicy food). Very good price-quality ratio. The service can be slow when there are a lot of customers (or take-away orders). You have then to relax and enjoy the cooking videos running on the TV screen. The boss (Chefin) is friendly.

Ordered 2x duck to take away on Sunday lunchtime. Never again!!!!!! When you picked it up you weren't even looked at, let alone greeted. 2 unmotivated, listless, bored people continued to fiddle with their cell phones without paying attention to me. Finally the boss, who could hardly be surpassed in terms of unfriendliness, came and shouted at me about what I wanted to pick up. 10 minutes later I received both dishes. When paying, she couldn't give it out due to lack of change, so I HAD to tip too! No farewell. Duck only consisting of hard waste products fried to death, sauce was nothing more than colored water with flavor enhancers, vegetables cooked to death - more like a porridge - rice totally clumped together. One star only because it doesn't work otherwise -5!!!!! Extremely unfriendly, bad mood and food of substandard quality! Never again!!!!!

This restaurant is not friendly to Asians, and is respectful to Germans. White people are given priority when empty seats are served. All white people have to be served before Asian food is served. Asians will be scolded if they don’t order drinks. There is clearly a conflict between the boss lady and the employees. They speak Chinese, but require the Chinese to speak German with them. Someone posted about this. The boss lady also commented that she graduated from Tsinghua University. The person who posted the message came to Germany after failing to get into university in China😅

There are no stars to give out. Got the wrong takeaway food for the second time. Check this out immediately before you realize it too late and are at home. And the quality has definitely deteriorated extremely.

1. Cooked vegetables taste with rancid oil smell. The raw materials e.g. the pork is not fresh, it doesn't taste good or is very old. 2. The cooking technique is without cooking technology, e.g. Pork with Sarlic Sauce was cooked with the spice bag that you can easily buy from Suppermakrt. Spice bag doesn't taste good, and the preservatives in it is not healthy. 3. Unpleasant. Ordering via Robert or iPad would be better, at least it doesn't make any mistakes.

Dont bother. A couple of items on the menu are decent, but the rest is pretty subpar. Service is absolutely the worst. Takes forever for them to serve you. They only accept cash. The lady there also tries to scam you by pretending she has no change. You will also get bad service if you dont order a drink. Found a piece of curly hair that looks suspiciously like genital hair in my food today.

The food was satisfactory, but it took a long time for the order to be ready. The staff was extremely absent, unfriendly and absolutely disrespectful to the customer. Mistakes were made when ordering because people didn't listen and then blamed on the customer.

Eine derartige Respektlosigkeit und Unfreundlichkeit dem Kunden gegenüber habe ich selten erlebt - und das von der Inhaberin persönlich! Macht selber Fehler, weil sie keine Lust hat, dem Gast zuzuhören und will dann in aggressivster Art und Weise den Fehler auf den Gast abwälzen. Mich wundert es wirklich, dass hier noch Leute hingehen. Absolut NICHT empfehlenswert! Das Essen ist mittelmäßig. Service nicht vorhanden. Am liebsten würde ich Minus- Sterne vergeben!

Our last dinner a week ago was a total disappointment! Some of the food was very disqualifying, the rice was rather lukewarm and old. In addition, a very long waiting time, overwhelmed staff and a super unfriendly landlady.

The service here has never been particularly friendly and quick, but in the last few months it has gotten even worse. You are not greeted and you wait 15 minutes before you can even order the drinks. In any case, as a guest you don't feel welcome. The food was better more than a year ago, most of the ingredients are not fresh, the suancaiyu was very old and the fish came straight from the freezer.
