Unfortunately, the food wasn't impressive. The avocado on the sushi was off, and the selection on the sushi platter was unfortunately far too limited for an all-you-can-eat restaurant. The rice noodles and all the other dishes were fine, but disappointing for the price. I wouldn't visit the restaurant again; there are far better restaurants. Personally, I don't understand the high ratings at all.

Very disappointing – Absolutely not recommended for Too Good To Go I ordered from Global Wok in Garching in the evening using the Too Good To Go app, hoping to get a fair portion of leftover food at a reduced price - which is actually the point of the app. Unfortunately I was massively disappointed. When I arrived, the sushi buffet was still full. There was obviously enough food left - and in more than sufficient quantities. It was all the more shocking that I was handed a tiny portion: a large aluminum delivery tray, which at first glance looked like a lot, actually only contained a small amount - barely enough for one person. No comparison to what other restaurants offer via the app. The whole thing seemed more like a mandatory fee in order to be represented on the platform - not like an honest participation in the concept of food rescue. Instead of showing appreciation for customers who want to actively contribute to reducing food waste, you get the feeling of being fobbed off and taken advantage of. For me this was not only disappointing but also annoying. I will definitely not order from Global Wok again - neither through Too Good To Go nor regularly. Anyone who values ​​fairness, transparency and customer satisfaction has unfortunately come to the wrong place here.

Tried the all-you-can-eat buffet: The food was good – nothing extraordinary, but the taste was definitely convincing. What I found particularly positive was the opportunity to put together the dishes yourself and have them freshly prepared on the live grill - a nice extra. The selection was overall solid and what you would expect from a typical buffet of this type. I didn't notice any of the unfriendly service mentioned in other reviews - on the contrary: the staff was very friendly towards us. Overall I would give the food a rating of 3.5 – good, but nothing special.

Today we had lunch at the Global Wok restaurant in Garching near Munich. The food was delicious and varied - we tried juicy fried meat with vegetables and an excellent sauce. The bread was fresh and the portions were generous. The service was quick and friendly. The ambience is simple and pleasant for a relaxed lunch. Overall, a nice experience for lovers of wok and grill specialties.

We were here for dinner and were thrilled by the diverse offerings and of course the sensational Mongolian grill. Not only is there All You Can Eat, but also All You Can Drink for €6 more. We were very satisfied, also with the attentive service, and would be happy to come back.

I go there every now and then, but the service has never been great! But last Saturday he was really anti-social from the old waiter, especially the young one! You can't beat it when it comes to impudence! On top of that, when the chef refilled it, he dropped a baked shrimp on the bottom, he didn't throw it away - he threw it back into the container in front of me! When I asked him about it he laughed cheekily! Took another one out and it was fine for him... Nobody really wants to know what goes on in the kitchen! Enough for at least half a year!

I used to go to Global Wok regularly and was always satisfied - good selection, delicious food and friendly staff. Unfortunately, the quality has changed a lot recently. The selection has become smaller and many dishes no longer taste the way they should. Last time I visited, the sushi was even unpleasantly sour, which is not a good sign. I can positively highlight the friendly staff who make an effort. But unfortunately the food has declined significantly, which is why I rarely go there anymore. It's a shame, because it used to be a really great restaurant!

very tasty & affordable food!!! all you can eat buffet is open between 11:30-14:00 and its 13.90 euros without a drink! even though we came late there was still food left and it was delicious! definitely will come again. ps: if you only order 13.90 euro all you can eat without a drink you need to pay 1 euro per person extra.

Disappointing all around! After 8 p.m., the buffet was no longer refilled, even though the place doesn't close until 11 p.m. When I asked if they could refill the sushi (because there was surimi in everything), the answer was a resounding no. Every dish was ice cold, and fresh fruit? None – only canned goods. The coffee machine was already out by 9 p.m., and all the food was oversalted and extremely greasy. We went there at 7:30 p.m. and didn't get anything decent, but paid full price. On top of that, the staff was unfriendly. Definitely not a recommendation!

We used to eat at the buffet for lunch more often. Unfortunately, it's gone downhill. The food buffet was overcooked, especially the meat dishes. The duck wasn't crispy. The drinks counter wasn't refilled. The coffee from the coffee machine was very weak. The restrooms weren't cleaned sufficiently due to the smell. The overall impression was a bit lackluster. We'll visit other Asian restaurants in northern Munich. We won't be coming back.

We have been visiting Global Wok very regularly for years. Food always has enough selection and quality. The “self-service” drinks are not that convincing and the dispenser for non-alcoholic drinks is often broken. Everyone is always very, very friendly. I think it's great that a surcharge is charged for "unnecessarily too much food taken and not eaten" 👌🏻

I bought 2 to good to go boxes today. Arrived at the specified time. The gentleman gave us 2 small boxes so that you can take yourself... What can I say. Food was ice cold, the baked calamari rings were rubbery as were the king prawns. The amount for 8 euros was a joke!!!!! Sorry the restaurant will throw it away otherwise. For 18.90 I can eat I don't know how often at the buffet with hot dishes.... The boxes make more profit for the restaurant than the local guests..... It tasted really good

We were there on Sunday, everything is grilled together on the grill, pork, beef, veg frogs. This is crazy. It needs to be clarified better so that you can decide better whether you eat fresh and pork meat, grilled fish want it or not. So it's a shame

The top of the ice cream maker's lid is so dirty that you don't want to eat out of it. A shrimp lay on the floor the entire stay and was not picked up. The counter is also in poor condition, broken and falling apart. Unfortunately, the Mongolian buffet is also unappetizing. Overall, everything was very bland, not very appetizing and not very clean.

So for such a classic all-you-can-eat, the shop is great. Great selection, nice service, quick and friendly. It is constantly being replenished - the selection is huge. Drinks included are really great. The price overall is very moderate. The restaurant is quite large, but attractive. The toilets need improvement. What's really tiring are the large families, who not only cause "normal" children's noise and loud table conversations, but also a constant roaring, screaming and stomping sound that is very unpleasant. Maybe different on other days, we just got annoyed at some point. But we would come back at any time, maybe we'll have a "quieter" day. But still 4 stars.

We made a reservation for 12 people for my wife's birthday, 10 days in advance. However, when we arrived we were hugely disappointed. They had put together a small round table for us and another small 4-person table by the cold front door. Even though we had reserved 10 days in advance and many other places were available. Nevertheless, the person in charge told us: “Today is Saturday, there is only room here, you can't sit anywhere else.” So that everyone at the table could sit reasonably comfortably. If you really value your guests, you shouldn't even make a reservation here or go there. By the way, no one enjoyed the food. If there isn't a single Chinese customer in sight at a Chinese restaurant, you can guess the rest. :) .Think about it not just twice but thrice and stay away so you don't embarrass yourself with your money.

I had reserved a larger group by email for my medium-sized company's Christmas party there. This reservation was also confirmed in writing. When our bus arrived the reservation was not there. We showed the confirmation and were insulted as to why we reserved by email and not by phone. It would be our own fault if nothing happened.

Delicious all-you-can-eat buffet, optionally with included selected drinks that you can take from the refrigerator or extra drinks that you can choose from the menu. We always choose the buffet without drinks as it is usually cheaper if you only have one or two drinks.

The food at the buffet was good and was always freshly replenished. The staff friendly. The space is very large with 300 seats, all of which were occupied. The extreme volume made the whole thing very unpleasant and made it impossible for us to linger and enjoy a meal. Unfortunately, there are not enough parking spaces available for the many guests. I can't say what the food is like. We didn't get to it. We were greeted quite unfriendly even though we had a reservation, were escorted to the table and asked how old the children were. After I answered, someone who supposedly said so came and asked us for the children's insurance cards to check how old the children actually are. And then I was really blown away when I was told that 10 years and 6 months is actually 11 years and not 10😉. So people please!!! It's not about the 2€ more or less. It's about the arrogance that reigns there. Instead of saying “fits, thanks for showing” and that’s it, the person tries to convince me that my daughter is 11 years old😳. I find it ridiculous. Immediately drove on. Never again. Would recommend avoiding the store. This really saves you an unpleasant experience.

The restaurant is terrible! The service is a 0/10. It was 7:40 p.m. and there was nothing to eat. We waited 1 hour for it even though we ordered it including waiting times. The boss is just completely disrespectful. The boss doesn't speak German and she didn't understand anything. She also cursed in Chinese the whole time. A tip: waste of money if you go there.

We were there again yesterday. All the dishes were very good, if you dare you can try frog legs and zebra meat. The restaurant is large, but certainly not romantic. The costs are manageable. I visited with my friends here .The food had no taste at all. The fried items seemed like soaked in oil and salt. The cake and dessert was not fresh. The ice cream was sugary with just color and no flavour at all. The service was extremely poor with the buffet containers being empty and not filled up proactively. You have to wait until it gets filled up. Overall vey bad experience. Though the overall look of the restaurant is nice which tempts to try this restaurant once. But the food is not worth at all. Waste of money and time. Would not recommend this place to anyone

We regularly drive here from Ingolstadt just to eat because it tastes really great. The price for the buffet including non-alcoholic drinks is really great. Service is super friendly and fast. However, a small suggestion for improvement would be the toilets. These could be a bit clean and could use a little renovation. But another plus point is that there is even a small changing table (without accessories) for babies. Can only recommend the store

We had lunch during the week and chose the buffet with a drink. The prices are very fair and the staff is courteous. Some of the dishes prepared were good, some could use improvement. But overall a solid 4 star rating.

I was really disappointed with my visit to this all you can eat restaurant. Unfortunately, the sushi was a big disappointment because it contained far too much rice and therefore completely lost the taste. The breaded and fried dishes were also of poor quality. The overall selection was very sparse, and the tiramisu looked like it had been there for a long time. After just two small plates I felt sick and had to cut my visit short and go home. I really hope the food quality improves soon. A more balanced preparation of the food and a better quality of the ingredients would be urgently needed. But the ambience and staff were okay.

The restaurant is pretty tired and somewhat run down. The food was okay, but wasn't refilled. We were there for Sunday lunch (11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.) from 1 p.m., and some dishes were already out and were not recooked. At around 2:15 p.m. we were told that the buffet would now be dismantled and at 2:20 p.m. we were asked to pay. I probably won't go there again.

DISGUSTING! COLD! RUDE! DIRTY! Went there for dinner 2 hours (8 p.m.) before closing time. The buffet was already ice cold and almost empty. After an hour we asked if fresh food was coming. Friendly and attentive employees, even in the most stressful times! The buffet was always fresh and empty containers were immediately refilled. The dishes at the Mongolian BBQ were freshly prepared and brought to the table.

Absolute waste of time. Reserved a table which wasn't even considered. No tables, over crowded and no care or concern that they Wanted to give us a table that wouldn't even accommodate my family together.
