Latest edit: We waited at this Chinese restaurant from 7:00 p.m. to 7:42 p.m. In between, a waiter came to us and we were just about to say something. But before we could speak, he was called away again, leaving us at a loss. We had no choice but to continue to wait in silence. Because of this experience, I feel compelled to revise my rating.

We stayed in Munich for six weeks and had visited this restaurant for lunch once every week. All the dishes we had were tasty to our liking, hot, and in large portions. On top of that, both the lady staff were very friendly and for us, it was like having relaxing lunch at home.

The blood-rich fat intestines seemed to have more mushrooms and vegetables. If you like fat intestines, I suggest you try the fat intestine noodles instead. The portion of fat intestines is larger and the price is cheaper. The best Chinese restaurant I've ever been to. I was there twice within 10 days. The special thing is that it is really authentic. Usually you always get a lot of sauces (e.g. hoisin), which is also very tasty, but real Chinese cuisine is even better. Only the duck is probably Germanized, the waitress explained to us. In China you probably eat them without the local breading. What's also amazing is that it's relatively cheap, while the portions are decent. The restaurant itself is nothing special, but just small and nice. The service is also very nice. I'm surprised the rating is so bad. It definitely can't be because of the food.

The restaurant is in the center of Freiheit. The staff is very nice and the atmosphere is amazing and also the food is amazing. My favorite food here is pasta with chicken and coconut sauce. I think the price is also affordable and I recommend this restaurant.

It’s a nice venue with decent food, but the service is almost hilariously bad. We were probably asked 4 times what we want to drink, within 1 minute by different waiters and one of them spoke in a way that made us wonder if we had reincarnated as dogs 😂🤷🏻‍♂️

Here we have Suancai Yu (Chinese fish sauerkraut soup). It is prepared extremely tasty. I come over every two weeks with a friend and we are so happy. It's like the food gets tastier every time. Really great! The service is also incredibly hearty and kind! I hope the store stays open for a long time. It is a wonderful taste experience that does authentic Chinese cuisine justice. The only negative is that I didn't discover this restaurant sooner! Really great, thanks for the delicious food!

Very good food, nice atmosphere. I've been there almost every week for three years, I also have so many memories here. I could actually write a book about my moments in Honghong haha. It's not on the menu, but: crispy chicken with curry sauce 😋 If it's cold outside, you can also have a noodle soup.

Asians, don’t come here. This restaurant is not friendly to Asians. Be respectful to white people. White people will be given priority when empty seats are available. All white people’s dishes must be served before Asian food is served. Asians will be scolded if they don’t order drinks. It’s clear that the boss lady Speak Chinese with the employees, but require the Chinese to speak German with them. Someone posted about this, and the wife of the boss also commented that she graduated from Tsinghua University. The person who posted the message came to Germany after failing to get into university in China😅

The decoration atmosphere is good. I ate a bowl of Mao Xue Wang + rice. Both the Mao Xue Wang and the rice were very generous. One portion is enough for 1 to 2 people. Their sausages are good and clean.

Newspaper. I ordered Chao Shou and seafood noodles. The Chao Shou noodles were mediocre and the seafood noodles were unpalatable. I have never seen red, green and green peppers in soup noodles... The waiter was very enthusiastic and could neither speak English nor Chinese.

Recently I like to go to the Honghong Noodle House in Münchner Freiheit. The claypot mutton, griddle sausages, stir-fried sprouts and large bowls of noodles are all very good. The weather is cold, so I recommend everyone to give it a try if you want to eat a bowl of hot noodles. The price is also affordable. There was a young female waiter who made me feel very good, just like having dinner at a friend's house. Wonderful Experince at beautiful hidden gem restaurant just few miles away from city center yet close by to enjoy some Hong Kong style chines cuisine. I order of wok style chicken with red chilies 🌶️ on sizzling plate. FOOD: It was absolutely delicious and flavorful with aroma of chilies. Great way of serving pluse presentation. SERVICE: waiting staff was delightful and friendly. Great service totally recommend. ATMOSPHERE: cozy yet spacious restaurant. Plenty of seating. 100% recommendations for this spot.

A very special Chinese restaurant. I don't understand why we who arrived first were asked to wait while Germans arriving later could enter directly without a reservation. When I protested directly I was told that they could go straight up because they didn't care where they sat while we had to wait for the staff to clear other tables. Maybe you just make money too easily and want to increase the difficulty to make it more challenging.

The food is simply delicious. The cucumber salad is phenomenal and the Gong Bao Chicken has never disappointed me. The portions are good and the price is right. Can't understand the bad ratings on Google. Imo completely undeserved.

Este es un restaurante típico de comida callejera situado en Schwabing. Tuvimos buen tiempo, así que pudimos sentarnos muy rudimentario en la acera. La comida pedida por 9 , 90 € estaba en gusto y precio ok. El servicio era soso no muy amable y no demasiado ambicioso en la mentalidad de servicio. Se aceptan tarjetas de crédito. El aparcamiento es un problema.

Trotz allem Wochentrubel der Stadt sowie dem hektischen Treiben ist es eine angenehme Oase. Ein gespritzter Chardonnay versüßt den Mittagstisch zu einem sehr leichten und köstlichem Essen. Dies ohne den Geldbeutel zu sehr zu schrumpfen. Originale Küche auf kleinstem Raum. Nur die Tische vor dem Lokal lassen erahnen, was sich hinter der kleinen Küche verbirgt. Zu empfehlen der Brokkoli in Knoblauchsud und dazu Reis…leicht und köstlich. So wie wir es mögen.

Super tasty Tonkkotsu Ramen at a fair price!

I never really write reviews, but when I just saw that Hongkong Noodles only has 3.6 stars, I had to do it. The restaurant is in a great location, the staff are really friendly, the prices are more than fair (especially considering that it is right on Leopoldstrasse) and the food is super tasty and relatively authentic, for a German Chinese. I've eaten there 6 times and have only had positive experiences.

This restaurant is very well known for its unique service. When you ordered without drinks you were initially greeted with a white eyelid 🙄, and after ordering you were asked again if you wanted to order drinks, I really felt under pressure. Apparently you can't come to this store if you're not thirsty. Paying is even worse. The waitress banged the table really loudly and hard after I paid, I don't understand why she wanted to make me feel such an emotion. Load really hard!

This place has never disappointed us. But since last 2 times, we have observed that there is change in the taste. I guess the chef is changed.

What can I say, the flavors are one of the best Chinese flavors in Munich. The ratings I assume are terrible because it’s not germanized Asian fusion food but still original Chinese. The owners or waitresses attitude as well: Don’t expect too friendly, rude is normal and authentic. Come for the flavors! Especially the pork belly dishes are to die for.

The food is really tasty and there are some nice waiters, but the older lady is TOTALLY unfriendly. She simply smashed the plates onto the table without handing them out one by one - that was the first! Then she forgot 2 drinks, maybe that could happen... but with behavior like that it's just noticeable! AND THEN when paying, when one of our cards wasn't accepted for the transaction on the EC machine, she simply ripped another card out of my partner's wallet and held it up to the card machine. Are you crazy? Really bad service, so unfortunately (despite the great food) we won't be visiting again!
