LeDu Happy Dumpling, noodles in München

I was so craving and excited for their dumplings, but it's was just an okay experience. I love the idea of dumpling sampler and enjoyed some of the flavors (personally liked the beef and corn cheese the most). However, most of the dumplings came pop open with all the juice lost. The dumpling skin was so thick, so it was less flavor. It was worth it for one time, but probably won't try it again.

So tasty so Fr Fr that so good. The dumplings are crazy but you have to be careful because it's always full.

The dumplings at Ledu are simply top! Fresh, super juicy and with creative fillings that taste really good. Ideal for everyone who likes authentic and modern dumpling enjoyment!

I recommend looking beyond the dumplings on the menu. In my opinion, the bowls and noodle soups are really very good. I actually prefer them to the dumplings. My tip is the Szechuan Bowl Just one suggestion for improvement: a customer WiFi would be more than helpful because there is virtually no cell phone reception inside.

Very rich! First time going to this restaurant and I loved the experience. The food is delicious and fresh. The noodle soup was exquisite 🍜 And the dumplings were delicious.

Small but really good dumpling shop. 🥟 Here you can put together your dumplings as you like - which filling and whether steamed or fried. The dumplings are juicy on the inside and well filled. The beef stuffed dumplings are my favorite. I recommend trying the colorful mixture. There is a dumpling of every type. I especially recommend the steamed dumplings. The dough is deliciously al dente. Unfortunately, the dough for the fried dumplings was unexpectedly softer and not crispy. You order and pay directly at the counter and then receive a pager that beeps as soon as the food is ready for pickup. Tables are available both inside and outside. I particularly like that you can sit at the counter directly in front of the kitchen and watch the chefs prepare the dumplings. I'd love to come back 😊🥟

"Improved" taste...The Chinese level at the front desk is questionable...There are Chinese pastoral female boxers coming and going...

The wan tan noodle soup was good. I waited 30 minutes for my food. It is very annoying to see other 7 plus customers behind got their food first. The staff said noodle soup takes long but I saw other customers got their noodle soup before me.

The food is simply great, just like in China. Not like often in the common Chinese restaurants, Eurasia but really taste like you know it from China. Everything was freshly prepared and served hot. With self-service, all of this is available at a super affordable price. Keep it up, dear LeDu team. The ambience is a little different, modern Chinese.

Five stars for the food. The dough for the dumplings and noodles is well made, almost at the level of a Michelin awarded Taiwanese dumpling chain. But this is a very small place, you order, eat and you go.

Very nice restaurant and it went quickly. You can put together different types of dumplings, which is great!! We were there for lunch and were full. The store is nicely decorated and you feel comfortable. I can only recommend it!!

If you're in the mood for some incredible dumplings, this tiny spot is a must-visit. They might just have the best dumplings I've ever tasted. I went for the mix, and it was a great choice—each one was delicious. Highly recommend checking this place out!

Highly recommended for anyone who wants to try real Chinese cuisine. Unfortunately I only tried Malatang, which tasted very good (Asian spicy). Hopefully I'll get to try the popular dumplings.

First of all, I am a Korean student studying abroad. After living in Germany for a few years, I missed Korean food, especially malatang. Even in regular Chinese restaurants, they sell Mala under the name Mala, but it doesn't taste like the Korean Mala soup. I happened to come to this restaurant today and eat ramen noodles, and it tasted exactly like Korean mala soup. Level 3 spiciness? It seemed to be about the right amount, and honestly, the ingredients weren't to my taste, but it was still really delicious!

All good but not outstanding... perfect for a little hunger in between if you like Asian cuisine!

If you're a little hungry, I can recommend the restaurant as the portions are a little smaller. The beef bowl was a bit small, but very tasty. I wasn't convinced by the dumplings, some of the fillings tasted strange, the dough was a bit too thick and the sauce wasn't my thing either.

I ordered fried dumplings and they made them steamed. I asked kindly to correct this. They returned soggy dumplings that had briefly been fried in a pan. I told them that clearly these were the previously steamed dumplings which had now been fried and made soggy. They eventually acknowledged that this is correct and gave me my money back. I told them I didn’t want the money but would rather have my properly fried dumplings. They said they don’t have time now. Super disappointed. Terrible customer service.

I like to come to the Le Du restaurant regularly. Every time I order the steamed dumplings, and in my opinion they always taste very good. The quality and taste of the dumplings have never disappointed me. The staff at Le Du are very friendly and make you feel comfortable as a guest. The food always comes quickly, which I really appreciate, especially when I stop by during my lunch break. I would love to come back and look forward to the delicious dumplings every time.

Long wait and long lines. They offer a good selection of food, some more authentic than others, but all quite good tasting. The portions aren't massive, sadly the price is. Bang-for-buck I'd say skip this place, but for a then and again indulgence, or a dumpling snack this place can be warmly recommended. The variety of dumplings that they offer is quite large. They have 10 different ones on the menu (which then again are all quite similar to each other 🫤, so nothing extravagant)

Considering it's my first time eating Asian food, it's really cool, I recommend everyone to eat in this restaurant.

Unfortunately, our dumplings were very dry. The batter was too thick and not well steamed. The filling was very salty and spicy.

It's a small place for having Asian or Chinese food. Menu is limited but items are good. Soup and Noodle bowl is good and so are the dumplings. The soup portion is good enough to share. Desert Baozi is little overpriced as it's a single pc. Limited seating. It's a self service place and after order need to collect the food when pager rings. After eating need to put the bowls back in the trolley. If the previous person forgot to clean up, we need to clear the table ourself before seating. Not so nice.

jian bing - beef - wu wei sauce 7.5/10 beef noodle bowl - 9.5/10 ( according to my hubby, for me it was 8)

Nice dumpling place close to Marienplatz. Quality dumplings and really hits the spot. Highly recommend the Ledu Special (white) and the spicy chicken dumpling (orange). The vegetarian dumpling was also good (green). Presentation is cute and it's fun to see different color dumplings.

During my vacation in Europe I miss warm Asian food. So try this restaurant. The noodle was good, but not spicy enough. Their 1 🌶 mark didn't taste spicy at all. But still I recommend it for Asians who miss their food.

The waiter/order taker was incredibly unfriendly - that's really not possible. Of course you don't go there because you want to be entertained by the waiters, but you don't have to put up with something like that either! The dumplings had not been fried but had simply been left in the pan so that they were in the fried pan juices. When the complaint was made, the “nice” gentleman said, yes, you wanted it fried. You can also eat dumplings in other branches. It's a shame that someone like that is kept.

When I want dumplings, I definitely come here. Rinderfleish (beef) red bull version is just perfect. Sharp 10 minutes of waiting and here they are - 10 great pieces of dumpling art!

I ordered noodles, the waiter served wrong dishes, aka he gave other customers dishes to me. As customer I am not clear what noodle should look like what, he as the waiter is responsible to serve the right dish to customers. But instead of apologizing, the waiter humiliated me with very disrespectful words in Chinese, yes I am Chinese native speak I know what he means. Will never go this restaurant any more, and will not recommend to my friend. Such poor behavior and customer service. So disappointed with their rude attitude.

A few years ago I went there for the first time and was so impressed with the interesting flavours of their dumplings. I had their dumplings pretty much every day during my two week stay. This time I thought I'd come back for sure. We had the mixed steamed dumplings and they were great. However, the dumpling casing seemed dryer and thicker than I remembered. They were still tasty though. We ordered another pick-your-own 10 to share. My favourites are pure vegan, tasty beef and both of the chicken ones.

Looks cool, unfortunately it didn't taste good. The dips were weird too. Service somehow didn't understand anything. Ambiance was totally cramped, then we left. Unfortunately it wasn't our case, but it's worth trying.

Very tasty food and friendly staff! Even though it's self-service, that wasn't a problem at all. We recommend!

This place is really awesome . They don’t really offer full service as you order in the front and also pick up the food from the same place . I really like the soup and the dumplings . I cannot say less about this place except for the fact that i think the people working could’ve been a bit more pleasant .

Excellent dumplings, I love them. The restaurant is small, dark and only partially comfortable. Self-service. But it's definitely worth it for the delicious dumplings.

I had a delicious meal here yesterday, everything was freshly prepared and simply tasted great! Price performance is definitely right here too! All around a successful meal. Gladly again

Location: it is in the city center. Pubic transportation is convenient, couple of park house nearby the restaurant. (5) Environment: it is a fast food place. Very small, and usually crowded. The toilet is a nightmare. In summer sit outside is nice. (4) Food: I only order the 红油抄手，重庆小面和麻辣烫… I go there every time when I am in the city. (5) Service: it is self-service. (4) Price: it increase after Cov but still okay (5) Overall: 4.6 I go there weekly

The fish soup is very tasty, the portion is big enough for two people. Veggie dumplings don’t have much flavor but my friend that isn’t vegetarian really liked the ones with meat. Mochi were also very good.

We had 2 x mixed dumplings, once fried and once steamed, but unfortunately there was no difference. Taken out of the freezer and then steamed when ordered, so definitely not worth the price. We also had rice noodles with duck, I know rice noodles differently, they looked more like udon noodles, there was no taste of the peanut sauce other than chili. So rarely eaten so badly for the money. Over €40 for zero taste, the pasta simply tastes like 0.0 and we both had to go to the toilet after 20 minutes with stomach pains, which unfortunately lasted for 2 days!!!! So stay away from this food, you can get better, more seasoned and cheaper in any run-of-the-mill snack bar. I expect them to be particularly good, especially in a dumpling shop!!!

The dumplings are delicious and there are 10 different types. Reasonably priced too. The jianbing with tofu wasn't that good. The tofu was a bit dry, the only other filling was iceberg lettuce and I didn't notice any of the "spicy garlic sauce". Everything is freshly prepared on site. Eating on site is only possible with a maximum of two people, as there are only 10 seats, which are usually all occupied. Generally more of a shop for an authentic and quick snack.

The food was super tasty. But the fact that the prices are covered over is an absolute NO GO and, in my opinion, not even legal. Asking €15.90 for a soup without first knowing how much it costs is very cheeky.

My go to place for Sichuan noodle or Mala bowl.

For dumpling lovers, LeDu is always worth a visit. If you're looking for a place to sit comfortably and be served, you've unfortunately come to the wrong place. The wonderful dumplings make up for these deficits.

Really delicious dumplings with an overall pleasing variety: Steamed or fried & with either vegetarian or meat fillings. For two people I would recommend getting two noodle bowls and one portion of steamed dumplings in the center as a shared dish. The atmosphere is cozy but not as big as the other LeDu Happy Dumplings Store (Theresienstraße), therefore not necessarily recommended for bigger groups.

I used to regularly go to LeDu for its great dumplings and very fair prices. With the new year however prices were increased by 20% for the mixed dumplings which is much more that just the tax legislation change. On top, the ingredients have been changed and for me personally the taste is worse now…

Hier gibt es sehr leckere authentische Dumplings. Absolut empfehlenswert!

Delicious light lunch. Just beat the rush, we had 10 "Bunte Mischung", a "pretty mix" of 10 steamed assorted dumplings. Picture says it all. Lovely!

Sehr leckeres authentisches chinesisches Essen. Ich kann alle Gerichte guten Gewissens weiterempfehlen. Für den Fall, dass man nicht so gerne scharf ist, nimmt das Personal darauf gerne Rücksicht. Es gibt auch eine gute vegane und vegetarische Auswahl. Die Portionen sind groß und geschmacklich wirklich top! Besonders schön ist die Bar am Fenster, an die man sich setzten kann um das Treiben auf der Straße zu beobachten.

Das Essen ist gut, der Preis ist leicht gehoben.

Die Wan Tan Nudelsuppe war sehr gut, aber die Dumplings waren nur ok…

Bitte checken sie ihre dumpings. Die Füllungen haben diesesmal teilweise komisch geschmeckt. Es waren einige Knorpeln in den Teigtaschen. War sonst immer begeistert, aber dieses Mal war es echt schlecht.

Really good dumplings and very affordable price. Good option if you want to grab a quick bite to eat. Both steamed and Fried Veggie dumplings were delicious.

Kleines verstecktes Dumpling Bistro. Sehr klein und Möbel etwas unbequem für längere Aufenthalt, aber dafür bekommt man leckere Nudelsuppe / Dumplings zu einem extrem guten Preis.

Sehr gute Nudelsuppen, Rest bestimmt auch gut. Selbstbedienungsrestaurant, was an sich okay ist, allerdings sollten die "Piepser" wenn das Essen fertig ist nicht piepsen, da es etwas das Ambiente stört. Ich denk vibrieren und rot blinken sollte ausreichend sein. Kommen gerne wieder um die dumplings zu probieren.

Super comforting for any Asian craving soup and noodles. Soup isn’t lacking in flavour or watered down - or maybe I had the beef noodle soup (spicy).

Essen ist super, verglichen mit anderen Städten in DE ist das relativ lecker. Jedoch noch viel Platz nach oben.

Les plats sont bons, mais les dumpling sont vraiment exceptionnels ! Il y a souvent beaucoup de monde, et vu la taille du restaurant il est souvent compliqué de trouver une place assise.

Easy ordering and yummy dumplings and noodles

This place is a legitimate gem. I have eaten a LOT of Asian food in my lifetime, and this easily ranks in the top 3. I had a spicy beef and noodle dish that wasn't on the menu, but was suggested by the man working at the counter. It was phenomenal with a rich, spicy broth and perfectly tender and juicy beef. I believe the noodles were home made. My wife had a Wan Tan (wonton) noodle soup, and she said the wontons were even better than she had in Hong Kong. Total props to these guys and everything they are doing!

Ich komme hier schon seit mehreren Monaten hin und liebe es! Es ist sehr günstig und die Dumplings schmecken unfassbar lecker! Die Suppe leider eher weniger. (Hot Soup). Die Suppe hat sehr viele Chilliflocken, die einem im Hals bleibt. Sie beinhaltet leider auch viel zu viel Fett! Zwar muss man sich sein Essen selber holen, aber das macht kein großes Problem für mich aus. Was mich persönlich noch etwas stört ist, dass es nicht viele Plätze gibt, da es eher ein kleineres Lokal ist.

(English version below) 吃饺子来这里就对了，虽然是改良过的，但是我感觉比中国原版的还好吃，带很多朋友来过了，不管你来自哪个国家，都会喜欢吃的。 Coming here for dumplings is the right choice. Although the taste is modified, I feel they even better than the original ones from China. I've brought many friends here, and no matter which country you come from, you'll love them.

War hier schon öfter essen und grundsätzlich sehr gut. Habe tatsächlich nur Malatang probiert. Hier nicht volle Sterne da es relativ teuer ist mit 16.90€ und die Zutaten manchmal mehr manchmal weniger sind. Früher waren Kutteln drin aktuell nicht mehr zb. Ich mag diese bei dem Essen. Sonst sah alles immer sehr gut aus hat geschmeckt. Werde weiterhin öfters kommen. Ambiente nur 3 da es sehr eng und voll ist sowie die Toilette und halt eher wie ein Imbiss gestaltet ist. LeDu is my safe place for food. Anytime I don’t know what to eat I come back to LeDu.

Food was very tasty and full of meat/sea food. The prices are very acceptable and the portions are big. We got our food very fast as well. Very tasty, a bit on the spicy side.
