Authentic food, reasonably priced

Food was average, not really refined. Couldnt feel any passion init, also they really stressed about ordering again while just enjoying the time of eating. Left after that, as it seemed they stress about having to order quick.

We were hungry for a delicious duck in the cold autumn weather and were not disappointed! As a starter we had Peking soup and Char Siu Bao, both of which were really delicious! The Peking duck was crispy on the outside and very tender on the inside. There was also hoisin sauce. The portions are plentiful and reasonably priced. The service is very attentive, we will definitely come back. It may be advisable to reserve on Wednesday. It was very crowded today.

I met the worst service and attitude here, especially from the woman server! 😡The food is very normal in Chinese foods. How does this restaurant exist so long time? Maybe non-Chinese really don’t know what is good Chinese food.🤣

Good Chinese restaurant and recommended choice if you eat meat. If you are veggie (like me) or vegan, best look elsewhere as they only have veeeery limited plant based options. I had the fried noodles and they had been plentiful and delicious.

The older lady: Nope! And left again after we accidentally chose the cheaper meal and didn't pay attention to the times. Sorry, we didn't know. I'm not from Munich and have never eaten in this restaurant! Nevertheless, we still order something. Normally that was the point at which we actually wanted to leave straight away. And that has nothing to do with “German fussiness” because we are Turks. Be careful: For 10 spring rolls, 2x fried pasta plates without meat and 2x cola... we paid €36!!! 36€!!! Pure rip-off for US. Food itself was OK, but nothing more. Really not. We imagined something different and bigger for the price. Ambience nothing special. Staff as they should be… Except for the older, cheeky lady. I doubt the authenticity of the reviews here. Definitely not here anymore.

The food was really good, especially the Cha Siu Bao and the fried noodles! This is one of my favorite restaurants that I go to after Oktoberfest or when I'm out with friends and the vibe is really chill. The only thing is the service because they take a long time to serve us every time, whether the place is pact or not... But overall, the taste of the food makes it worth it to come here every time.

Were there for the second time and are very satisfied. The portions are quite large and tasty 😋 There is a rice pot for the entire table to accompany the dishes

The Chinese Restaurant Fuyuan is located near the main train station and can be reached on foot in about 10 minutes. In the restaurant you can get authentic and traditional Chinese dishes that you can hardly get anywhere else. The food tastes great and the portions are large. The food came promptly and the service was also great. If the weather is good you can also sit outside. Price-performance was also very good in this case. It's definitely always worth a visit.

Very tasty Chinese restaurant. The dumplings were wonderful and there was a little taste explosion in the mouth with the xiao long bao which were filled with broth and meat. And a great aroma of lemongrass. Very fresh. The Peking duck was also really delicious. Extra pancakes cost another 3 euros. Everything was very tasty and I would love to come back.

We stopped by Fuyuan spontaneously today after queuing for too long at another restaurant. To our surprise, the food was very delicious! The food is authentic and comes from the southern part of China where the taste tends to be sweeter and more nuanced. We had the Lychee Chicken, Char Siu, and a couple of Dim Sum dishes. While the dim sum wasn’t the best, the two entrees really shined, hence the 5 stars instead of 4. I highly recommend everyone to give this place a try!

Very authentic Chinese restaurant that was recommended to me by all my Chinese friends. Unfortunately, most food is prepared in far too much oil, which then ends up on the plate.

Really tasty Chinese food. The frog legs were a surprisingly good dish. The menu is also very large so you are sure to find something.

I was sick - problem of hygien most probably. Service not friendly/ very rude on top. Beer was also warm :-( very loud and to be avoided.

I reviewed the restaurant a few years ago and it was very positive. Unfortunately, I now have to revise this. The service is catastrophic, the ladies no longer have an overview, you wait longer than 45 minutes for your food and sometimes orders are forgotten. The food has gradually diminished. Way too greasy, fried in old oil, either too salty or tasteless. I'm willing to pay the increased prices, but not against this background. It's just a real shame.

We were there with a bigger group (6) . We shared our dishes and we have got a lot of food. The price was really good for what we have got. The personal were very friendly and fast. We were seated in the second part of the restaurant. 这个中国菜很好吃 多很好 👌 The atmosphere was nice, too. I love spicy food and I tried the Sichuan style beef with white rice. 好吃😋! Sorry 对不起！ I forgot to take picture of that dish but I was to hungry 🤪

Unfortunately the quality and taste has deteriorated extremely. Service is a disaster. Actually there was never any service. We just wait forever for our food. Since no one came after 40 minutes, we asked. We and our dishes had simply been forgotten. You notice that everything has to be done really quickly. Therefore the taste is no longer good at all. Loveless and bland. We won't be coming back, even though this was our favorite restaurant for many years. A pity.

Delicious Chinese food in a nice relaxed atmosphere.

Absolutely fantastic! My visit to Fuyuan was a culinary adventure. We had a great time with friends and tried so many delicious dishes. The Mapo Tofu was wonderfully spicy, the Peking duck was crispy and tender, and the fried beef with green garlic sauce was a real treat. But that was not all! The fried bok choy was fresh and crunchy, and the ginger lemon tea gave us a refreshing finish. However, what really made this visit special was the amazing staff. They were attentive, friendly and gave us recommendations. Your service contributed significantly to an unforgettable evening. We will definitely be back and look forward to trying more of the diverse menu. Thank you, Fuyuan, for a great dining experience!

It was a nice visit, staff was very friendly and food was good! We ordered various dim sum and a noodle wok. The noodle wok was excellent, and the dim sum was nice, but I have had better. Good price quality ratio, we paid €80 for 4 people with plenty of food and 2 drinks each.

Nice restaurant serving authentic Chinese food. They served huge quantities for main dishes. The vegetarian options are a bit limited but they are amazing dishes. The price is decent! This time it took a bit long for our food to be served but maybe they had a busy day. Their teas in the kettle are amazing. Especially the jasmine tea.

Authentic Chinese with a predominantly Asian audience and "nasty" dishes like chicken feet and pork intestines on the menu (don't worry, there are also "normal" ones like beef, pork and fish). Ample portions at good prices. Service is friendly, although it sometimes takes a little longer. All in all, absolutely recommended!

We waited 20 minutes for a tea and 1 hour for aubergine and pekin duck. We had to leave, too much time waiting. Deserve 0.

Absolute recommendation. The restaurant is beautifully decorated, the service is friendly, quick and courteous and the food is a poem! The beef and duck were very tender and juicy and the sauces were flavorful without being too spicy. Lovely again.

Small restaurant with a large menu and some unusual Chinese specialties. Unfortunately, contrary to the description and expectations, the Peking soup was not spicy. On the other hand, the duck was very tasty and tasty. The ambience outside is somewhat influenced by the train station district, but inside it is certainly more atmospheric.

Known for its pecking duck and dim sum, this place offers tasty food with generous portions and good prices. Cooking the pecking duck takes time, do allocate some time for it if you intend on ordering it. The appetizers are delicious with a large variety. The staff is nice and helpful. The restaurant is best enjoyed in groups to order multiple dishes and share them together to sample a wide selection of food. Reservation is a plus as the place gets busy, especially on weekends.

I've been a regular guest for many years. The specialty is duck and dim sum. Always delicious. I don't understand people who give bad reviews because, for example, they had to wait a while. Of course, a good restaurant with fair prices is well attended!

Das Essen war sehr gut. Die Ente war knusprig und gut gewürzt. Die Portion war recht ordentlich, vor allem im Vergleich zu einigen Vierteln Ente. Das Lokal war gut besucht, trotzdem war es zügig. Die Kellnerinnen waren aufmerksam und freundlich. Alles in allem ein gutes Erlebnis. Die Ente kann man immer wieder essen und mit gutem Gewissen weiter empfehlen.

A restaurant that serves Cantonese dim sum. The taste is far from the authentic one. The only thing that makes you feel that it is not so far away is the table turnover rate. Yes, they will immediately remove your plate and tell you to leave because new customers are coming. If you have high expectations for authentic dim sum, you might be disappointed. Good luck!

The food we ordered was delicious, the Peking Duck was very tasty(4,5/5), the portion is definitely enough for 2 people or one very hungry belly! The amount of mini thin dough wraps were not enough, so we had to order extra wraps in order to finish the duck! We had to wait quite some time to get our biers, but it was also a busy evening. The Xiaolongbao Dumplings were okay(3,5/5) and the cucumber salad was very tasty (5/5). The dishes aren’t completely authentic but still very tasty.

We went to eat in this restaurant just to have a break from German food, my wife is Taiwanese so she could drive well the choice of the food and it wass successful. All dishes were prepared correctly and the menu is never ending. The ambient thought is spartan and extremely noisy if there are Asian groups. Prices is line with the city.

Great place to get authentic Chinese food in Munich even if it has a few drawbacks when compared to another famous Chinese restaurant in Munich. They had a wide variety of authentic Chinese cuisine… from starters, rice and noodle dishes, seafood, pork, chicken, beef, dimsums, etc. I ordered dumplings, chicken fried rice, and pork with fresh Chili and sweet and sour sauce. The dumplings were mid but the pork and the fried rice tasted great! I guess the portion to price ratio was still fine whereas it was enough but not a lot. A very noticeable drawback for me was that they really needed time to cook our food compared to other Chinese restaurants in Munich even when it was not really crowded yet which sometimes would be a bit annoying when we are already hungry. Another one is that their coordination and communication among their waitresses was not good enough as when we already ordered, another waitress came and wanted to take our order. On another side, I love the ambience of the restaurant with LED lights that has different colors on the ceilings and the lantern shaped lights too that really gives you a great atmosphere. Not a bad experience overall.

Food is very delicious here! That's why I keep coming back even if the atmosphere is not really cozy, nice and stylish. I also see a lot of Chinese clients (a good sign for a Chinese restaurant 😀) The menu is HUGE, you can literally get lost there 😄 crunchy sweet meat is definitely my favorite dish. Unfortunately I don't remember the exact name. Better book a table in advance, as the place is always very crowded.

The rice was a bit too soft and sticky, the meat sauce tasted like a ready-made sauce from a jar. Ambiance was okay, service was okay.

Great shop. We have already tried a few Chinese restaurants in Munich and this is certainly in our top 3. There is a large selection of food and drinks in a beautifully designed atmosphere. The food has always been very tasty and the service is always very friendly. We like to come here to eat.

The most disappointing Chinese food I’ve had in Germany in years It’s also the first restaurant I’ve ever seen that makes chicken feet taste unpalatable. huge sweet The stuffing of the barbecued pork buns is small and very sweet, the fillings of the three kinds of rice rolls are small, and the surface of the rice rolls cannot be guaranteed to be complete. The portions of garlic pork ribs and stir-fried large intestines are very small. I can count the sausages with two fingers. I was also drunk when I put the garlic pork ribs on the bottom with lettuce. Is there any Chinese food that uses shredded lettuce on the bottom? The only thing you can eat is roast duck, but the portion is also small. I’m not saying that, the portion I left after eating at other restaurants was larger than what they served here. While the dumplings are really good, main course is average, nothing memorable to write about. What killed it for us was the apathetic service received. The lady was clearly not enthused about us being there with a baby, and initially offered us a table where we could not keep the Kinderwagen and neither did they have a High-Chair for kids. No smile, no acknowledgement, nothing!! Menus placed on the table, not a word yet. Since we were hungry and love dumplings, we ordered quite a variety of those. Orders taken in a very obligatory manner. My partner & kid were hungry, else would've left already. Even when we complimented the dumplings, she couldn't care less. All this while she was happy to talk, be kind and courteous to other tables, including the one right beside us. Maybe the colour if our skin didn't make them feel we deserved a decent service. They do not even give a printed bill. Just wrote the amounts on a piece of paper. Will be happy to avoid this place for sure; wouldn't care to be at a place where we are not welcome.

The place is relatively big, but the food is a little slow and you have to wait. The siomai and shrimp dumplings are good, the rice rolls are also very fresh, and the overall taste is quite authentic.

The taste is salty, the shrimp dumplings have no shrimp flavor, the radish cake is crispy on the outside but soft on the inside but has no radish aroma, Zitronenlimonade tastes like Sprite The Peking roast duck is not very good, but the sauce is too salty. The knife work is good. The cucumbers and green onions are very thin. The portions of fried rice and vegetables are quite large.

Never had better Chinese food before. Staff very accommodating, not intrusive but always there. I ate a large spring roll, a cucumber salad and Peking duck. All of it 10/10 the cucumber salad tasted so fresh it made me 2 months younger. (Unfortunately, the cucumber salad and kimchi were greedily pricked before the photo was taken, which is why it looks a bit wild)

Food was okay, unfortunately starters took a very long time, almost 40 minutes instead of the advertised 20 minutes. My meal (lychee chicken) came 20 minutes later and was too saucey and sweet for me personally, my friend's Peking duck wasn't cut as finely (as it should be) and there weren't that many pancakes to eat. So unfortunately it didn't exceed our expectations, but it was ok. Prices are a bit high for that. Service was a bit overwhelmed, the restaurant has a simple and plain interior.

A well-attended location run by real natives. The menu offers a huge selection, but unfortunately there are few vegan dishes. The service is friendly and well organized, speed is ok. When it comes to food, I'm a bit hesitant, I had two dishes. One was great, one was a flop. I'll probably have to come more often. Round eyes keep the wagey, which speaks for authentic food. Card payment possible from 20 euros. No parking spaces, no terrace.

Can recommend the dish with tofu and minced beef, was really good. The service was fast and the place wasn’t so crowded for a Saturday evening. The food was affordable as well.

Those were a bit disappointing (I had picked out the restaurant for them), but I was very pleasantly surprised by the other dishes. Me and my friends visit here quite often, either for lunch or dinner, and we have tried a wide range of their dishes. Some of their dishes are great, the rest just average. Our favourites in the menu would be the Peking Ente, knuspriges Rindfleisch, Rindfleischtopf, and Mapo tofu. The dishes always come out really quick (they surely are a winner in speed) and the taste is almost always consistent. I ordered Rindfleischtopf and Yangzhou fried rice for lunch. The Rindfleischtopf was great as usual. The Yangzhou fried rice was a little bit disappointing, it wasn't as fragrant as I remembered and there were still clumps of white rice. In terms of taste, it was still well seasoned. Update: I went here again just recently and gave the Chao Zhou noodles and Lychee chicken a try. The Chao Zhou noodles was drenched in oil that it became a bit overwhelming towards finishing it. The lychee chicken was, in contrary, unexpectedly delicious.

Very authentic dim sum and friendly Cantonese service, especially the 腸粉 is really good, and very thoughtful to have the mixed dishes👍

Tolles Essen sehr freundlicher Service

Der Service ist sehr nett und das Ambiente ist auch schön. Ich war vom Essen aber nicht so begeistert. Baozi waren aus dem Tiefkühler und völlig geschmacksarm. Die Hauptspeisen waren besser, aber insgesamt leider auch etwas fad. Habe bspw. schon oftmals deutlich bessere Pekingente gegessen.

Sehr leckeres Essen und dazu gibt es eine große Anzahl an verschiedenen Gerichten. Und auch die Mitarbeiter hier sind super nett und aufmerksam :-)

Leckere, automatische, chinesische Küche. Da waren wir schon mindestens fünfmal, und mindestens nochmal so oft Take-Out. Mein Favorit sind die Sparerib-Stückchen und die frittierten Bananen mit Vanille-Eis. Der Wermutstropfen - das wissen auch andere - dort ist es oft voll.
