When the boss lady heard that we were from Taiwan, she helped us to use less oil and salt, otherwise the food in Germany would be very salty, and she also served us hot tea.

Great Chinese restaurant near Marienplatz with a good/affordable lunch menu. Lovely ambiance, good quality food, and very friendly service. We'll definitely be back.

Offered us hot tea in a rainy day even though we were here for a takeaway. Lovely owners!

The owners and staff are incredibly friendly. You feel incredibly welcome and treated like a real guest. The food was delicious, they didn't skimp on the spices, and we really enjoyed everything. Special requests are no problem, and the portions were amazing. I'll be back next time I'm in Munich! My mother and sister will be too. :)

This place is so amazing, the food was incredible and was easily some of the best I've had in germany so far. The people are very friendly and even offered us free food before closing. We even forgot our bag inside the restaurant and they chased us down to return it. Plus the fish tank was awesome. A must visit

I ate at this restaurant for two consecutive days in Munich. The owner was very welcoming and every dish was delicious. I basically ordered everything on the menu and didn't disappoint! Full marks 💯 recommended! The free watermelon 🍉 was also delicious

Very kitschy Chinese restaurant. The ambiance wasn't really my thing. The food was good, but no different than any Chinese takeaway, only twice as expensive. Overall, it was okay, but I wouldn't go back. The service, however, was excellent. Super fast and very attentive.

Good service, friendly, but the main course was disappointing. The food is just too damn salty. Let customers add their own salt. The flavours of the ingredients need to come through.

By chance I came to this restaurant a while ago because I didn't want hearty Bavarian food. The restaurant is located right next to the Hofbräuhaus. I am now a regular at Mandarin. The food is very good, I have already ordered up and down the lunch menu. The service is always very nice, and now we also talk private things (the ladies love Hamburg, my hometown). The food is always very tasty, I have never been disappointed and lunch menus (soup-main course-dessert) starting at €11 are very reasonable prices. I'm already looking forward to my next visit there.

I was staying in a nearby hotel and accidentally came to this restaurant when I went out to find food. The proprietress was very nice. I only ordered two servings of rice, but she was afraid that we wouldn't have enough, so she brought us a bowl. Because their store network had problems that day and we couldn't pay by card, we could only pay in cash. I said I only had 100 Euros on me and if it was enough, the proprietress said that was more than enough. We ordered a few dishes, which cost me more than 70 Euros. I don't know why the proprietress charged more than 60 Euros in the end. I guess she was afraid that we didn't have enough cash, so she gave us a discount. 😄 After the checkout, she also asked us if we wanted to use our own kettle to get some hot tea to take away. It was really heartwarming!

The food is fantastic, the owners are very friendly and welcoming and speak enough English to order and understand. The restaurant has a great atmosphere but most of all the food was fresh, tasty and affordable. So if you are feeling like some Chinese food this is the place to go. PS try the duck it is literally insane!!!

Unfortunately I didn't like the restaurant at all. The employees made fun of us and simply brought us a cola that we didn't want. The decoration is very dusty, which is very bad for me with my house dust allergy because I had to sneeze all the time. Some hairs were found in the food. Drinking it tasted a lot like water. The toilet wasn't clean!! In addition, the toilet has not been cleaned and it contains traces of cocoa. We got a dessert that we didn't want and that had lots of hair in it. I am scared of this restorant and am afraid of diarrhea and food poisoning. We were also assumed to be drunk, which we weren't!!

Had dinner in this restaurant, chinese dishes were delicious and the portions were pretty big for a table of 8. Service was adequate.

Looking for some Chinese food for a change me and a friend stumbled upon this location. It was Saturday night and we were a bit skeptical as there was no one eating dinner in the restaurant . Feeling obligated we stayed. I'm glad we did. Food was fresh and fast. Unfortunately it spoiled Chinese food for me here in the US as nothing here compares. The red hot sauce is awesome. Great food. I look forward to going again when I'm back in Munich.

I don't recommend it! The service is terrible, the food is not tasty, the renovation is terrible. The cutlery and plates are terrible. It's a shame for wasted time and money.

One of the best Chinese restaurants. Spicy chilli oil and fried rice is my default combo. Nice restaurant employees.

A little insider tip for me. You can eat delicious Chinese food here, both quality and quantity are very good! The prices are also not outrageous (€16.90 for duck with vegetables and rice + soup/salad in the lunch menu). The ambience is a bit old, but it is authentic and has its charm. What was also positive is that there are a lot of Chinese guests here, which also speaks for itself.

The proprietress is super enthusiastic and the food is delicious🤤 Recommended for Chinese people who have been abroad for too long and miss Chinese food👍 I personally like kidney beans very much! 🥰

We were there for dinner and ordered a menu for 2 people. It was supposedly several types of meat with vegetables and rice. For dessert there should be fried bananas. The portion would actually have been enough for a good eater. The supposedly different types of meat were limited to perhaps 6 very thin strips of breaded chicken breast and 6 very thin strips of breaded duck. Actually, you almost only had breading. The other types of meat were so small that you really had to look for them and they were hidden under the vegetables. The vegetables were completely over-seasoned. The banana consisted of 3 tiny slices fried with plenty of breading. And the starter soup with crab meat and chicken consisted only of water and only tasted like it and you had to look for the meat too. For the price it's an absolute disappointment!!! Never again!!!

The food was lukewarm and carelessly presented on the plate. The taste of the main course was zero eight fifteen. The restaurant was therefore empty, unfortunately it is no longer recommended.

This is the best beef noodle soup west of the Great Wall of China. An absolute recommendation! The fried fish is particularly delicious. Always delicious.

Unfortunately not recommended. When the outside temperature was 5°C there was no heating. Very kitschy and old Chinese restaurant, apparently used by Chinese tourist groups. Starter for two people (€11!) is equivalent to 12 small fried frozen snacks that cost in the cent range in the Asia shop. Unfortunately Spezi was not carbonated and my main course was forgotten. 鱼香肉丝 这个是最好吃的 豆豉味很重炒的很香 但是份量是十分少
干煸牛肉丝 很咸 配饭刚好 牛肉片不是丝 腌的粉太多 口感差也没有牛肉味 鸡蛋汤 就是混合蔬菜的味道 只加了盐 一般
整体感觉很一般
但是服务态度是很棒的
附近就这个中国菜馆最近
嘴馋可以试一下 不必远赴

味道还是不错的，服务员阿姨也很热情，但是相对于价格来说，菜的分量有点少了，我一个人点了三个菜刚好吃饱，花了50多欧，如果馋中餐可以来试一试。

Sehr kitschig eingerichtetes China-Restaurant. Vom Ambiente her jetzt nicht so meins. Essen hat gut geschmeckt, aber auch nichts anderes als in jedem China-Imbiss, nur doppelt so teuer. Insgesamt okay, aber würde nicht nochmal kommen. Der Service war aber top. Super schnell und sehr aufmerksam.

Ein Zufallstreffer, da die Brauhausgastronomie überfüllt war. Und es war ein Glückstreffer! Das Essen war superlecker und schnell, frisch zubereitet serviert. Dass auch viele chinesischstämmige Gäste dort waren, spricht zusätzlich für das Restaurant. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Leicht zu übersehen, wenn man nicht gezielt darauf achtet oder zusteuert - und das zu Unrecht! Wenn auch das Interior wenig einladend wirkt und etwas abgenutzt ist, im Service arbeiten echte Charaktere: freundlich, flink und stets für einen kleinen Austausch zur Karte zu haben. Die Gerichte kamen zügig und waren gut. Der Hotpot blubberte, die Saucen an den Speisen waren schmackhaft. Fazit: Solide, lecker, völlig ok, wir würden wiederkommen. Tipp: Sauer-scharf Suppe! Sie ist nicht aus fertigen Saucen zusammengeschüttet, sondern enthält „echte“ Zutaten - wenn sie auch eigentlich nicht wirklich scharf ist.

This is the best Chinese Restaurant in Munich. The food is just delicious, the owner is extremely nice and kind, we even got a free dessert. It's our go to in any case. Just wonderful.

These people are always super nice. Don't expect Americanized Chinese food, but the dishes are meat and rice based, so don't be afraid either. The owners are amazing, and even gave us a free dessert. The location is perfect so it's not hard to reach from the downtown main plaza.

Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich. Die Getränke schmeckten beide leider abgestanden - kleine frische Flaschen sind hier wünschenswert. Das Gericht mit Rindfleisch war lecker, das gebackene Huhn süß-sauer war leider zu lange gebraten - Reismenge zu gering.
