We have enjoyed eating here for years. But now the hat is full. 🤢Robot brings food NOT covered.🤧 Any visitor can cough on my food. Full serving trolley with dirty dishes and leftover food - everything open - is placed right next to my plate 🤑 that makes eating more fun.,, fresh meat from the fresh food counter is in your own. Juice and pulls strings when lifting.🤔 Then it comes to the table almost raw. 🙄Children play unsupervised on and with the buffet. Don't get me wrong. I love children. But eating with your fingers in and out is unhygienic. The buffet is rarely filled. The constant emptyness of the bowls determines the food selection. The courses at the buffet were so crowded that I was constantly jostled. It would be difficult for 2 people to walk past each other.. I'm normal in stature😅 The ice had frozen lumps of water. The dessert had powder lumps. Oversalt the soup. The rest is bland and tasteless... We'll look elsewhere... If the office stops by here unannounced, this business will no longer be allowed to open. 😢 Too bad

I'll put it this way, it's ups and downs. It was better again than last time. The selection varies a bit but is always sufficient.

It used to be better, I've probably been going there for 10 years. Now we noticed that the menu has been significantly reduced. Because before I actually always took 30% home with me. Now I have to eat it completely otherwise I would still be hungry. According to the motto, increase prices and reduce portions. Which is also strange. There is no card hung in the display case outside. As well as on the menus, the prices were changed with stickers, which are very small and not written optimally. I had 10.00 EURO and was charged 10.60 Euro. That's probably what it should mean. I just couldn't read it properly. Because I read 10.00 euros. What was also very unfortunate was that there were 3 mothers at the table and only one received a rose. Is it still possible? And that for Mother's Day. I'm also surprised at the surface in the restaurant, it easily sticks to it, as if Coke had been spilled. But that wasn't the case, everything was clean. The food is still good, but I think it's actually only worth visiting the buffet for lunch during the week, as the price is right. 2024 November: The buffet costs an impressive 21.80 euros per person on Sunday lunchtime. What's bad is the menu, which doesn't describe well what the dishes contain, and it's also poorly translated and sometimes incorrectly translated into English. The food this time was more satisfying as well. Always eat the same thing. Therefore only 2 stars!

Delicious food, courteous, friendly service and a selection that I could regularly eat too much of. It's also great that you can order food to take away.

This China Restaurant is one of the best i ever tried. I dont know why in europe the quality is so much better as in Africa. I like it so much.

Had dinner there today with 5 people. Unfortunately, the selection isn't that big, and some of the food was almost cold. Some things were almost over-seasoned and others were almost not seasoned at all. The floor was sticky all over and it was relatively cramped at the buffet... I had rice with vegetables, among other things, and there was plastic in there. We took someone else's food with us and they also had plastic in their rice. When spoken to, they thanked us, but didn't apologize...Unfortunately, very disappointing and would not be recommended.

It was very good food. The team put in a lot of effort. Fast and attentive. I liked it very much. Our highlight was the salmon on the hot plate in the buffet. The buffet was clear, varied and had something for each of us. The bedside table selection is very good. If it maintains this level we will visit again on our next stay. Eat only lukewarm, oversalted and tastes warmed up. Containers are not refilled then I am not allowed to offer a buffet. Not recommended.

The staff is very friendly and accommodating. People always ask politely and nicely if they can bring you anything else. The selection of food is good, neither too much nor too little and there is something for everyone. Clear recommendation

Visited recently and had many updates! Great authentic atmosphere and even better tasting food, perfect for a celebration or just a night out with the family. There’s live teppanyaki cooking, chocolate fountain, and even all you can eat salmon nigiri sushi.

A few years ago things were a lot better here. We've been there twice in the last few months: the food is now only lukewarm. The buffet is only slowly filled up and is sometimes undercooked, etc. The floor of the restaurant is also very sticky everywhere. Very unfortunate. Especially for the price: 128 EUR for 5 people... Positive: Some waiters are very nice and the room layout is fine.

The food was cold despite the buffet warming plates. The taste is probably getting worse and worse. I really like eating Chinese dishes but here you can get into the habit. I'm sorry to have to give such a bad judgment. You won't be seeing me there again any time soon!

You can't go wrong here. all-you-can-eat buffet with typical dishes. A funny highlight was the friendly serving robot.

Have been eating here regularly for over 20 years. Always been very satisfied. Been here again for two years now and just disappointed. The staff is moving at a highly motivated snail's pace and is not making any progress. In addition, it only has half the teeth in its mouth, which makes it less appetizing when eating. The buffet was always only half full because it was hardly refilled. What made things worse was that the food was very dry and simply didn't taste good. The prices have been increased, but the staff and food are significantly worse - that doesn't add up. It's a shame, I hope China Palace Haiger can get this under control again.

Were there for the lunch buffet. Atmosphere like a Chinese restaurant. However, the food wasn't great, some of it was cold, the wontons were rock hard, the sushi tasted like it came from the supermarket. The selection was manageable. All in all a bit disappointing

Unfortunately, hardly any new food. Almost every type of meat contains a ton of vegetables. It spoils your appetite a little. Why don't you place the vegetables separately? Instead, you drown the meat with it.

Cozy Asian atmosphere. Relaxed atmosphere with friendly staff. For my taste, the selection at the buffet is completely sufficient, and there is also a large selection of fresh vegetables for vegetarians. The ingredients from the fresh counter for the Teppanyaki live kitchen are particularly delicious. You can put together your own personal menu, choose a marinade and then hand it over to the chef. He then prepares it on the fiery hot teppan plate. Free parking spaces are available directly at the restaurant. Price/performance is okay, in terms of taste the only thing that matters to us is the menu. A reservation was not necessary. We'd love to come by again.

We've been coming for years. On our last visit it was relatively uncrowded for a Saturday evening. The food was delicious as always, but I found it to be borderline pricey. Paid €105 for the family ((2 adults, 2 children (1x children's price 1x adult price due to age). Could perhaps also be a reason why there was so little going on.

Wir wollten 4x Buffet essen. Preise standen nirgendwo für das buffet und wir hatten den Anschein, dass er sich dann einen guten Preis ausgedacht hat. Ok hätten wir bezahlt. Aber dann: Die Kinder wollten nur etwas trinken und wir nicht. Der Mitarbeiter/Chef meinte dann, dass jeder mindestens 1 Getränk bestellen muss wenn wir buffet essen. Dann habe ich ihm gesagt, das wir nichts trinken wollen und sind gegangen ohne was zu essen zum nächsten Döner der übrigens sehr gut war. Ich habe noch nie gehört, dass man etwas trinken muss. Nicht zu empfehlen diese Abzocker!!!

Everything is very tight. For the fresh ingredients you have to squeeze around a square. Selection poor. Ready fried food was often empty and you had to wait a long time until it was refilled. Dessert selection ok. Service was nice but overwhelmed. The live cooking is in the middle of it, so half the room is always full of smoke. The floor was super greasy and slippery. The operating robot can hardly get through anywhere and is out of place here. Food not really hot. Don't have to go there again

A very nice Chinese restaurant with all you can eat. Mongolian grill and regular buffet food. But you can also order by card. Absolutely nice service and the small service robot is also a highlight.

Good food and nice location. Now also with a serving robot. But the music he plays when he delivers food is pretty annoying. I recommend replacing this with the Imperial March.

Has worn off a lot...unfortunately. Buffet was poorly refilled. Hair in food. Used to be my favorite Chinese. 🤷‍♀️ Friendliness was also very important back then. Everything has subsided.

Leider sind die wege so eng, das war etwas nervig. Essen grillen ist da auch möglich, aber leider wieder wenig Auswahl. Ich hab die Bewertung mit Herr MJ gemacht er hat die gleiche Meinung wie ich. Preis Leistung ist ok Getränk sind leider im Buffet, nicht inbegriffen. War wirklich, sehr schade ist. Parken ist ok. Einfach ein tolles China-Restaurant

Leckeres Buffet, toller Teppan-Grill. Auch wenn das Gesundheitsamt regelmäßig kommt. Da weiß man wenigstens, dass der Laden sauber bleibt... oder man hofft es.

Buffet kalt, wenig nachgelegt, relativ wenig Auswahl. Träger Service... Wiederholung nur, wenn alle anderen Chinesen zumachen. Sushi unterirdisch.

Wir gehen schon seit mindestens 20 Jahren dort hin! Damals war das Essen noch echt sehr Lecker und liebevoll zubereitet aber jetzt nur noch eine Katastrophe das Essen vom Buffet ist fast kalt und wenn Mann von der Karte etwas bestellt wird einem einfach nur ganz lieblos der Teller hingestellt ohne Warmhalteplatte so das man beim Essen sich beeilen muss das nichts kalt wird!! Früher hätte es sowas da nie gegeben.Leider nur noch schnell Abfertigung!

Essen war geschmacklich vollkommen okay. Obwohl wir direkt zur Öffnung da waren, lagen auf dem Boden noch "Reste" vom Vortag unter dem Tisch. Service war wirklich zuvorkommend.

Sehr schönes Restaurant mit schönem Ambiente. Das Essen ist sehr lecker und das Buffet sehr reichhaltig. Im Vergleich zu anderen Restaurants waren die Speisen sogar deutlich günstiger. Die Bedienung war, typisch asiatisch, sehr freundlich, aber nicht aufdringlich. Wir können das Restaurant sehr empfehlen und kommen gerne wieder.

Nettes China Restaurant, reichhaltiges Buffet, preislich okay

Wir waren immer gern zu Gast, jedoch ist der Mittagstisch nicht mehr zu empfehlen. Alles schmeckt gleich, mega fettig , Glutamat ohne Ende fast alles nur lauwarm. Salate lieblos zum Teil gammelig. Das Eis hat eine minderwertige Qualität.

Buffet war sehr gut, Auswahl reichlich. Ein Stern weniger da teilweise nicht mehr warm! Dafür war das Servicepersonal sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend! Werden bestimmt wiederkommen!

Leider war das Essen vom ganzen Buffet nur lauwarm. Es gab keine Scampi oder ähnliches. Entsprach sonst dem Standart mit einem relativ niedrigem Preis.

Atmosphäre warm und gemütlich. Große Auswahl beim Buffet, verschiedene Fleischsorten und laut meiner Tochter (Vegetarier) eine große Auswahl an frischem Gemüse. Lohnt sich für ein angenehmes Familienessen. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Leider war das Essen eine Katastrophe. Der Grill war lediglich 10 Minuten während des gesamten Aufenthalts besetzt. Man musste sich beeilen um wenigstens einen Teller gegrillt zu bekommen. Das restliche Essen war trocken, kalt und fast nicht gewürzt. Der Nachtisch war nicht besser. Insgesamt hatte das Lokal den Charm eines Bahnhofsrestaurants. Die Bedienung war sehr nett und zuvorkommend.

Gutes Essen und höfliche Mitarbeiter. Geschmacklich auf gutem Niveau. Selbst meiner Begleitern hat es sehr gut gefallen.

Das war faktisch das letzte Mal, dass ich dort auch nur einen Cent lasse. Ich habe mich noch NIE in einem "Restaurant" so unwohl gefühlt, wir dort... Wir kamen mit der Erwartung, wie es bei Google steht /stand, dass das Restaurant bis 23 Uhr geöffnet hat. Unsere Ankunft war um 21:20 Uhr. Haben einen Platz für 2 bekommen und das Buffet bestellt. Wir wurden direkt gefragt, von welchem der Angebote wir etwas haben wollten... Ob wir auch etwas von dem Grill und Sushi haben wollten. Etwas verduttzt über diese Frage, haben wir bejaht aber uns noch nicht viel dabei gedacht... Von nun an "verfolgte" uns die Bedienung auf Schritt und Tritt. Räumte den Teller, nach dem Essen weg, bevor wir überhaupt das Besteck hingelegt haben. Wir haben uns regelrecht bedrängt gefühlt. Wir haben uns noch eine Kleinigkeit geholt aber dieses penetrante Auftreten der Bedingungen hat uns tatsächlich die Laune und den Appetit gänzlich verdorben. Und dann kam raus, dass um 22 Uhr geschlossen werden würde (!) Ich meine; wenn eine Information auf Google falsch ist, ist das eine Sache; aber uns, als Gäste NICHT darüber zu informieren, dass der Laden gleich geschlossen wird und wir uns am besten das Essen reinschaufeln, mit Blick auf die Uhr, ist was anderes. Sprich; wir wurden für knapp 20 min in den Laden gesetzt, konnten unser Essen überhaupt gar nicht "genießen" und wurden auch noch belästigt. Ja, wir sind uns einig, dass wir uns belästigt gefühlt haben... Und der Hammer; uns wurde DER VOLLE PREIS für das Möchtegern Buffet berechnet! Das war das erste und einzige Mal, dass ich mich in einem Restaurant so schlecht (behandelt) gefühlt habe, dass ich kein Trinkgeld gegeben habe(!) Das war wirklich das aller letzte, was uns da passiert ist. Der Abend war gelaufen. Grauenhaft. Minus-Sterne würde ich geben, wenn man's könnte. Es gibt super Alternativen zu diesem "Restaurant". Fahrt nach Herborn! Da ist ein prima Buffet Restaurant, welches diesen Namen auch verdient!

We came on a Sunday evening. Buffet was hot and fresh and tasty. Good selection of dishes including several with meat and without. Large selection of ice cream and some other desserts. Friendly staff. Husband and I both felt the place was underrated at 3.5 stars.

First things first: The staff are very, very nice and helpful. They were welcoming, smiled, and everything was the way it should be. However, we came here for the food and, well, that was a bad idea. Perhaps you grew up in the 70's or early 80's when Chinese food was all the rage in rural Germany - it was exotic, portrayed worldliness, and gave people the idea that they were part of something bigger. The food, because it was new and vastly unknown, could really be anything - it certainly didn't have to be anything you would ever find in any of China's provinces. It did, however, have to heavily cater to a local, very inexperienced palate. That meant that "spicy" should be anything but spicy, that textures should be non-adventurous, and that sodium should be the predominant carrier of flavor. If that is what you like, then you will feel right at home here. Like Bacco down the road, this is akin to time travel to a simpler time when people simply didn't know any better. This is also very, very sad Chinese food. Do NOT go here if your palate is more sophisticated. Do NOT go here if you expect actual Chinese (whatever province you prefer, it won't be found here) food. My impression was that the food here is forced to appeal to a "cheap" clientele: They want volume, not quality. For example, one in our party had Szechuan Beef ("very spicy!"). First off, it had zero spice. Next, it consisted of exactly three ingredients: sauce, bell peppers, and about two pounds of beef. There! Done! And not yum! The sad thing is that Germans, by and large, should know better - they do travel abroad a lot and one would expect that the food that's available here reflects their passion for traveling. It does not. There are also many more immigrants who bring their food and their palates with them. However, it's almost as though they don't stand a chance because their food still needs to cater to dull German tastes. Sure, the situation is better in large cities - Berlin, Frankfurt, Hamburg, etc.(as can be expected), but the boonies are clearly not there, yet. In essence, it's all my fault - I (and the people in our party) expected too much... If you do, too, don't eat here! If you are willing to subject yourself to food that is as sophisticated as a blow to the head with a hammer, then go for it.

I was craving for some Chinese food so I stopped there - unfortunately it focusses a lot on All-you-can-eat but the menu looked quite nice. My spring roll starter was standard and OK and the main course was pretty good and freshly prepared, not from the buffet. Lots of meat (beef) in it and quite tasty. Service was a bit erratic and the price was so-so.

Greatt buffet middays and evenings, also normal Menu if you don`t fancy buffet. Fresh fish, meat and veggies prepared fore your eyes at the mongolian grill AND sushi variations -so something for everyone!

Ther aren't too many restaurants offering Chines cuisine in this region. Most customers seem to go for the eat buffet. It is above the average here because you can choose the ingredients and watch them being cooked on a large hotplate. The place is well designed with the food located in the center. Every time I have been there it has been busy but the staff cope well.
