Unfortunately the buffet was always empty that day, which was a shame

Standard Asian cuisine for Europeans, However, not worth the money, careless, simple preparation with no taste at an overpriced price. We had ordered fried rice noodles with shrimp and soy vegetables, more noodles than anything else, they weren't even cooked through, greasy, bland taste without spices. You had to look for vegetables including shrimps on the plate, the whole thing for a price of 12 euros... Unfortunately my last visit, despite the "new" owner everything is the same. Price/performance ratio is not right at all, the small Kim Kim snack bar in the city is better and more recommended.

Food from the buffet, quantities are heavily calculated. Hardly any vegetarian options. In my opinion, the price/performance ratio has decreased in recent years.

Despite the fact that the restaurant has just opened, 80% of the food was cold. The sushi rice was hard, and generally not fresh. The sauces on the grill tasted clearly spoiled/musty. The waiters were very nice and accommodating. But all in all the food was a disaster. The only good thing was the salad.

The worst place I have ever been. It was dirty everywhere you go. The stuff also lied about the price. I was told one price at the beginning, but they did not tell me that if you dont buy drink you need to pay extra. Cammon!

The buffet was rich and good. If you don't like or want meat, you'll get your money's worth here. Fish grilled or breaded, as well as mushrooms, vegetables, etc. The service was very friendly and accommodating. There was nothing to complain about other than seeing how some guests ate for 5 people.

Wir sind immer gerne und oft zum Mittagsbuffet ins Restaurant Palace gegangen. Leider war heute gegen 12:30 Uhr bei fast allen Speisen das Buffet bereits leergeräumt. Was noch verfügbar war, war zudem meist nur noch lauwarm. Trotz mehrmaliger Beschwerde, wurde nicht zeitnah wieder aufgefüllt. Trotzdem wurde uns der volle Preis berechnet. Eine Entschuldigung gab es auch nicht. So vergrault man seine treuen Gäste. Nach der heutigen Erfahrung sieht man mich dort so schnell nicht wieder!

I have always enjoyed being a guest at the Palace Restaurant often. However, today's visit was a complete disaster. By around 12:30 p.m. the lunch buffet was almost empty. What food was still available was usually only lukewarm. When I complained to ask for more food to be refilled, I was simply told “Coming soon”. This turned into almost an hour during which I lost my appetite. Nevertheless, the full price was charged. There was also no apology. In the short term, you may be able to maximize profits with this approach, but in the long term you will certainly lose customers. This restaurant has definitely had one less guest since today.

Super delicious buffet with lots of vegetarian selection!

The food was good. Apparently the operator has changed. The buffet was well presented. The only disappointing thing was the clear soup offered, which was offered without any addition. It was impossible to define whether it was chicken soup or vegetable soup. Despite that, everything was fine overall.

After the fried noodles with fried beef were served I noticed that the noodles were cold. After the complaint, the waiter went into the kitchen with my plate and what happened next was a joke. The plate came back with my cold noodles!!! Never again in this restaurant, it was the second time that this happened to me in a row. Never again !!!!!

The food was always very good, I had something prepared at the fresh food counter. the robot as an operator is funny. Unfortunately, the smell (due to the breakfast preparation) is a bit too strong.

Average Chinese restaurant. The food we ate was delicious. We can recommend the buffet, although with restrictions. Unfortunately, there is a two-star deduction because some of the dishes in the buffet were no longer really warm. Also, the staff could have been more attentive. And some dishes in the buffet were not always available despite the lack of activity. Overall, other Chinese restaurants can do better. The selection of dishes that you can have prepared individually in the evening could also have been larger.

We were there on January 1st. 2025 for dinner. Of the 7 people at our table, 3 ordered from the menu and had to wait almost an hour for our food. My 85 year old father, my husband, and 2 others in our group had all eaten buffet. My father vomited all night, my husband had diarrhea. We'll never eat there again.

We have enjoyed eating here for years. But now the hat is full. 🤢Robot brings food NOT covered.🤧 Any visitor can cough on my food. Full serving trolley with dirty dishes and leftover food - everything open - is placed right next to my plate 🤑 that makes eating more fun.,, fresh meat at the fresh food counter is in your own. Juice and pulls strings when lifting.🤔 Then it comes to the table almost raw. 🙄Children play unsupervised on and with the buffet. Don't get me wrong. I love children. But eating with your fingers in and out is unhygienic. The buffet is rarely filled. The constant emptyness of the bowls determines the food selection. The courses at the buffet were so crowded that I was constantly jostled. It would be difficult for 2 people to walk past each other.. I'm normal in stature😅 The ice had frozen lumps of water. The dessert had powder lumps. Oversalt the soup. The rest is bland and tasteless... We'll look elsewhere... If the office stops by here unannounced, this business will no longer be allowed to open. 😢 Too bad

It used to be better, I've probably been going there for 10 years. Now we noticed that the menu has been significantly reduced. Because before I actually always took 30% home with me. There is no card hung in the display case outside. As well as on the menus, the prices were changed with stickers, which are very small and not written optimally. I had 10.00 EURO and was charged 10.60 Euro. That's probably what it should mean. I just couldn't read it properly. Because I read 10.00 euros. What was also very unfortunate was that there were 3 mothers at the table and only one received a rose. Is it still possible? And that for Mother's Day. I'm also surprised at the surface in the restaurant, it easily sticks to it, as if Coke had been spilled. But that wasn't the case, everything was clean. The food is still good, but I think it's actually only worth visiting the buffet for lunch during the week, as the price is right. 2024 November: The buffet costs an impressive 21.80 euros per person on Sunday lunchtime. What's bad is the menu, which doesn't describe well what the dishes contain, and it's also poorly translated and sometimes incorrectly translated into English. The food this time was more satisfying as well. Always eat the same thing. Therefore only 2 stars!

This China Restaurant is one of the best i ever tried. I dont know why in europe the quality is so much better as in Africa. I like it so much.

Had dinner there today with 5 people. Unfortunately, the selection isn't that big, and some of the food was almost cold. Some things were almost over-seasoned and others were almost not seasoned at all. The floor was sticky all over and it was relatively cramped at the buffet... I had rice with vegetables, among other things, and there was plastic in there. We took someone else's food with us and they also had plastic in their rice. When spoken to, they thanked us, but didn't apologize...Unfortunately, very disappointing and would not be recommended.

It was very good food. The team put in a lot of effort. Fast and attentive. I liked it very much. Our highlight was the salmon on the hot plate in the buffet. The buffet was clear, varied and had something for each of us. The bedside table selection is very good. If it maintains this level we will visit again on our next stay. Visited recently and had many updates! Great authentic atmosphere and even better tasting food, perfect for a celebration or just a night out with the family. There’s live teppanyaki cooking, chocolate fountain, and even all you can eat salmon nigiri sushi.

A few years ago things were a lot better here. We've been there twice in the last few months: the food is now only lukewarm. The buffet is only slowly filled up and is sometimes undercooked, etc. The floor of the restaurant is also very sticky everywhere. Very unfortunate. Especially for the price: 128 EUR for 5 people... Positive: Some waiters are very nice and the room layout is fine.

The food was cold despite the buffet warming plates. The taste is probably getting worse and worse. I really like eating Chinese dishes but here you can get into the habit. I'm sorry to have to give such a bad judgment. You won't be seeing me there again any time soon!

Have been eating here regularly for over 20 years. Always been very satisfied. Been here again for two years now and just disappointed. The staff is moving at a highly motivated snail's pace and is not making any progress. In addition, it only has half the teeth in its mouth, which makes it less appetizing when eating. The buffet was always only half full because it was hardly refilled. What made things worse was that the food was very dry and simply didn't taste good. The prices have been increased, but the staff and food are significantly worse - that doesn't add up. It's a shame, I hope China Palace Haiger can get this under control again.

Unfortunately, hardly any new food. Almost every type of meat contains a ton of vegetables. It spoils your appetite a little. Why don't you place the vegetables separately? Instead, you drown the meat with it.

For my taste, the selection at the buffet is completely sufficient, and there is also a large selection of fresh vegetables for vegetarians. The ingredients from the fresh counter for the Teppanyaki live kitchen are particularly delicious. You can put together your own personal menu, choose a marinade and then hand it over to the chef. He then prepares it on the fiery hot teppan plate. Free parking spaces are available directly at the restaurant. Price/performance is okay, in terms of taste the only thing that matters to us is the menu. A reservation was not necessary. We'd love to come by again.

We've been coming for years. On our last visit it was relatively uncrowded for a Saturday evening. The food was delicious as always, but I found it to be borderline pricey. Paid €105 for the family ((2 adults, 2 children (1x children's price 1x adult price due to age). Could perhaps also be a reason why there was so little going on.

This time the food was all very dry. The food used to be quite good. Only the sesame balls were as good as always. But it was very expensive (85 euros for 3 people!) because we were there on May 1st and (as it is a holiday) the price for the evening buffet was already valid at lunchtime

Wir wollten 4x Buffet essen. Preise standen nirgendwo für das buffet und wir hatten den Anschein, dass er sich dann einen guten Preis ausgedacht hat. Ok hätten wir bezahlt. Aber dann: Die Kinder wollten nur etwas trinken und wir nicht. Der Mitarbeiter/Chef meinte dann, dass jeder mindestens 1 Getränk bestellen muss wenn wir buffet essen. Dann habe ich ihm gesagt, das wir nichts trinken wollen und sind gegangen ohne was zu essen zum nächsten Döner der übrigens sehr gut war. Ich habe noch nie gehört, dass man etwas trinken muss. Nicht zu empfehlen diese Abzocker!!!

Everything is very tight. For the fresh ingredients you have to squeeze around a square. Selection poor. Ready fried food was often empty and you had to wait a long time until it was refilled. Dessert selection ok. Service was nice but overwhelmed. The live cooking is in the middle of it, so half the room is always full of smoke. The floor was super greasy and slippery. The operating robot can hardly get through anywhere and is out of place here. Food not really hot. Don't have to go there again

A very nice Chinese restaurant with all you can eat. Mongolian grill and regular buffet food. But you can also order by card. Absolutely nice service and the small service robot is also a highlight.

Has worn off a lot...unfortunately. Buffet was poorly refilled. Hair in food. Used to be my favorite Chinese. 🤷‍♀️ Friendliness was also very important back then. Everything has subsided.

Leider sind die wege so eng, das war etwas nervig. Essen grillen ist da auch möglich, aber leider wieder wenig Auswahl. Ich hab die Bewertung mit Herr MJ gemacht er hat die gleiche Meinung wie ich. Preis Leistung ist ok Getränk sind leider im Buffet, nicht inbegriffen. War wirklich, sehr schade ist. Parken ist ok. Einfach ein tolles China-Restaurant

Leckeres Buffet, toller Teppan-Grill. Auch wenn das Gesundheitsamt regelmäßig kommt. Da weiß man wenigstens, dass der Laden sauber bleibt... oder man hofft es.

Buffet kalt, wenig nachgelegt, relativ wenig Auswahl. Träger Service... Wiederholung nur, wenn alle anderen Chinesen zumachen. Sushi unterirdisch.

Wir gehen schon seit mindestens 20 Jahren dort hin! Damals war das Essen noch echt sehr Lecker und liebevoll zubereitet aber jetzt nur noch eine Katastrophe das Essen vom Buffet ist fast kalt und wenn Mann von der Karte etwas bestellt wird einem einfach nur ganz lieblos der Teller hingestellt ohne Warmhalteplatte so das man beim Essen sich beeilen muss das nichts kalt wird!! Früher hätte es sowas da nie gegeben.Leider nur noch schnell Abfertigung!

Essen war geschmacklich vollkommen okay. Obwohl wir direkt zur Öffnung da waren, lagen auf dem Boden noch "Reste" vom Vortag unter dem Tisch. Service war wirklich zuvorkommend.

Die beste Zeit dort erlebt... Herzensmenschen... Würde unbedingt wieder hin wollen. Quasi dort groß geworden und das Essen nicht nur zubereitet sondern auch immer genossen.... Grüße

Sehr schönes Restaurant mit schönem Ambiente. Das Essen ist sehr lecker und das Buffet sehr reichhaltig. Im Vergleich zu anderen Restaurants waren die Speisen sogar deutlich günstiger. Die Bedienung war, typisch asiatisch, sehr freundlich, aber nicht aufdringlich. Wir können das Restaurant sehr empfehlen und kommen gerne wieder.

Nettes China Restaurant, reichhaltiges Buffet, preislich okay

Wir waren immer gern zu Gast, jedoch ist der Mittagstisch nicht mehr zu empfehlen. Alles schmeckt gleich, mega fettig , Glutamat ohne Ende fast alles nur lauwarm. Salate lieblos zum Teil gammelig. Das Eis hat eine minderwertige Qualität.

Buffet war sehr gut, Auswahl reichlich. Ein Stern weniger da teilweise nicht mehr warm! Dafür war das Servicepersonal sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend! Werden bestimmt wiederkommen!

Atmosphäre warm und gemütlich. Große Auswahl beim Buffet, verschiedene Fleischsorten und laut meiner Tochter (Vegetarier) eine große Auswahl an frischem Gemüse. Lohnt sich für ein angenehmes Familienessen. Wir kommen gerne wieder.
