The room was a good size, but it's in need of renovation (there was no radiator in the bathroom! - -5°C outside!). It would also be nice to have two cups for the kettle in a double room, not just one; they're cutting corners in the wrong place. The location is good, but unfortunately, despite an apology, we weren't served the breakfast we booked and paid for, as the delivery services supposedly hadn't arrived. We couldn't reach a financial agreement with Booking.com, meaning we felt cheated. It couldn't have been due to the weather or the snow, since the workmen were there and managed to fix it. We ended up having breakfast ourselves at a bakery in town.

Stay away. We were only there for one night. Thank goodness it wasn't longer. The room was clean. The service was abysmal! There was no heating in the bathroom; it was freezing cold. The nasty surprise came the next morning. There was no breakfast. The owner told us that the delivery of bread rolls and toppings hadn't arrived. And her colleague wasn't there either. Oddly enough, the tradesmen working next to the reception were there. So the tradesmen could drive, but the delivery men couldn't. It seemed more like they didn't want to serve breakfast. In a decent establishment, one of the three women standing outside, smoking and with coffee, could have gone and gotten some bread rolls. And we weren't even reimbursed for the breakfast. So, no service, no willingness to help.

The photo shows a sauna and a swimming pool, but in reality they are not working. What a shame!

For several years now, I've stayed at this hotel annually for 1-3 days for training courses. The reception staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. The breakfast is excellent, and the rooms are spacious and of a good standard (some even have a bathtub and balcony). It's a shame the hotel restaurant is no longer open. Overall, I've been very satisfied for years and can highly recommend this hotel.

A rather dated hotel, clearly living off its own resources. The breakfast is good and plentiful, but they don't offer eggs even upon request. Instead (as far as I can tell) they offer a ready-made egg from a Tetra Pax, cooked in a bain-marie on a baking tray and then sliced. The carpet in the room has already seen its fair share of wear, as has the ventilation in the bathroom. Overall, it's too expensive.

I came to this area for business. It's very rural. Unfortunately, on the way there, I noticed that several inns, restaurants, and village pubs were closed and even overgrown. The hotel was certainly very good in its heyday. Time has taken its toll here. The room was sufficiently large, but also a bit dated. The TV is a bit smaller than my laptop, but it doesn't bother me because I don't need it. Wi-Fi is available. The hotel is very thinly soundproof, so it gets very loud when there are more people. From about 11 p.m. onwards, it's fine. My bathroom was very new, everything was really clean. No dust, no dirt, windows were fine. In the breakfast room, everything was also to my satisfaction. Yes, one could say something about the scrambled eggs from the packet, but OK, they were tasty; I was full, the selection, the coffee, everything was fine and sufficient. Very nice staff at breakfast. Unfortunately, that was the only contact I had with anyone from the hotel, as the reception was unoccupied upon my arrival and departure. I also miss a restaurant here, where you can enjoy a nice beer and chat with locals. It's part of the experience for me. I've certainly been there before, as the lounge has a beer tap, a bar, and a bar area. The huge lounge with darts, billiards, foosball, pinball, leather armchairs, and sofas is definitely worth mentioning. It's very good for mechanics. There's a vending machine in front of the hotel where you can get snacks, cola, lemonade, sparkling water, and even wine and beer. Yeah, hefty prices. Not so great. All in all, it was okay for me, and I had a good stay for my purposes. I wouldn't stay here with my family or on vacation. For a celebration or a day or two, I would.

We stayed at the Hotel Tannenhof and unfortunately, we can't give it a good review. The service was almost nonexistent, and when it was, it was rather unprofessional. The prices are absolutely unjustified for what you get. We paid €250 for two rooms, one night each, including breakfast. €60 would have been the most reasonable. The hotel is very remote, and there's nothing nearby. The rooms are clean, but old and worn. We found it particularly negative that the so-called "living room" was apparently being used by homeless people during our stay, as it was freely accessible, which was a very unpleasant feeling. The breakfast was disappointing and in no way worth the price. We had to wait 20 minutes for a simple coffee. Overall, unfortunately, I wouldn't recommend it – neither for a short stay nor for a longer period.

In itself, everything worked out...

I can only recommend this hotel with reservations. Our reservation for 6 people was completely forgotten, despite asking two days before check-in. No one was on site at check-in. After several phone calls, we were shown to our rooms. The rooms were clean and had a shower. The ceiling in the bathroom was badly cracked, and the hairdryer had melted. When we pointed out this problem, we were told that they were aware of it and that the hairdryer needed to be replaced. 🧐 The location was quiet, and there was ample parking. The biggest drawback was the breakfast, which was described as plentiful. Yes, rolls, sausage, and cheese were available, but they were plain and in small quantities. The grain rolls and chicken sausage were negative. The scrambled eggs were pre-packaged, lacking onions, salt, and pepper, but with bacon on the side. On Sunday, what little was available was even less. Eggs were reboiled, and the coffee was simmeringly warm. Breakfast isn't worth €15. The staff on site were friendly and concerned about our well-being.

After leaving another accommodation disappointed, we received a very warm welcome from the owner at the Tannenhof. He managed to get us a room from Friday to Tuesday. We were very satisfied. The hotel is in a quiet location. The room was large and clean, the beds comfortable with relatively new mattresses. A large TV and free Wi-Fi made our stay complete. The breakfast buffet was always fresh and varied, and the rolls were fresh from the bakery every morning! Many thanks again to André and his team. Steffen and Christine

Nice hotel with a beautiful view. The grounds are also very well-kept and inviting. The receptionist is very friendly.

Quietly located hotel, although the rooms are a bit old. Here and there something needs to be refreshed. The hotel is probably very popular with fitters. However, the room is also noisy to the neighboring room and hallway. Sauna and pool closed for over a year. The restaurant is supposed to open again from April, breakfast for €16.50 was not taken.

I stayed at the hotel for 2 days and enjoyed my stay. +Fair price +Comfortable beds +Heater and amenities work (fridge, hairdryer etc) +Clean room +Small TV -Internet connection a bit unstable and unprotected! -The walls are thin and you can hear people in the hallway and in their rooms which might be a problem for people with light sleep -No heater in the bathroom and cold -Parking lot was completely covered in ice, extremely dangerous and slippery, staff should take care of this

The room was out of date. The light in the bathroom was far too dim. Some parts of the ceiling were dirty and there were blood stains. The TV didn't work either. I would definitely not recommend this hotel for a holiday. The breakfast was great.

A hotel stuck in the 80s. Rooms are quite shabby and are the same as they were 40 years ago (hence probably the different colors of the carpet), hardly any light in the bathroom and you need a magnifying glass to watch the TV. Behind the wall of my bed was the stairwell with a broken door closer and every time someone went through it the whole bed vibrated. The hotel is very out of the way, so you have to use the car for everything. Things that could speak for the hotel: Restaurant - Closed! Swimming pool - Closed! Sauna - Closed! Only the breakfast was good and the staff were nice, hence the second star.

The hotel is very quiet, but is still easily accessible. Unfortunately it's getting a bit old. The breakfast was very rich and left nothing to be desired, only the coffee in the thermos flasks had cooled down a bit if you don't start the day so early.

Overall completely fine, great service with quick response.

Solid hotel, not new and equipped to a high standard, but reasonably priced. Restaurant and breakfast also OK, not great but OK.

War an sich sehr gut. Aber die Betten sind durch. Nicht gut drauf geschlafen
