Beach bar run by Karsten Plass, the owner of the Pirates on Südstraße. A real recommendation when the weather is nice as it is located directly on the canal. Nice staff, good selection of drinks, reasonable prices. I can't say anything about the food this year as we were only there to drink cocktails. But in the opening year we took part in the breakfast buffet that was offered, which was great, and we also went there for a barbecue, delicious steak rolls. The beer and cocktail selection is very good. Music-wise it's not as rocky as Pirates, there was feel-good summer music playing when we were there, which matched the weather and the beach.

Very local, friendly staff and looking back it was the best food and vibe I had in Munich over all - other so called famous Bavarian restaurants are overrated but this biergarten was a true gem!

We celebrated our wedding on August 24th at Gare de la Lune and couldn't be happier. Our contact person on the big day was incredibly careful, even if it was a bit wild at times :-) Arrangements in advance were very relaxed and took place promptly. Many people asked us how we came across the location because it really offers everything your heart desires - the Elbe, some greenery, a great ballroom and a rustic vaulted cellar. What we also really appreciated was the honesty and expertise! The food was very tasty, despite a little ambiguity about the vegan version, we were well taken care of and everything was clarified very well. In any case, no one was hungry! :-) All in all, a great location that we highly recommend! Even though it was raining on the day of pickup, someone was there so we could pick up everything. Thanks for that! You made a significant contribution to making it our most beautiful day, which we will never forget. We made funeral coffee in Olly's Wirtshaus and were completely thrilled. There were enough rolls and cakes, so there was still a lot left over. The rolls were very generously topped, even with “vegetable decoration”. The tables were set very lovingly and the service was super friendly and attentive. We were also pleasantly surprised at the price. Good quality can still be cheap. The space was completely sufficient for around 35 people. The outdoor area with an xxl chess set and covered smoking area looks very inviting. The huge biker sculpture is definitely worth a visit. All in all, we were very satisfied and can recommend it without hesitation! Thank you for the excellent hospitality

A simple and cheap accommodation, very nice and courteous operators. When we arrived there was a fire burning in the fire bowl, the house was well heated and there was a nice buffet dinner. Thank you!

My grandfather was a regular customer at this pub. I drank Coke there with Grandpa as a child. It can't all die. 🙏

My rating for this place is 0!!! It sucks! Lies about the location and decoration, the photos are false! Moreover, they deceive and shortchange the price, which indicates terrible treatment of customers! As a person who does not expect deception and is not able to argue about the price, I just cry, and then I feel disgusted!! Nothing interesting, stuffy, not enough space! A complete lie and the most disgusting thing - deception!!
