A nice stop on the way to Vierzehnheiligen. The bratwursts are definitely recommended, and the beer is even more so.

Best steaks and sausages in the area! The sauerkraut is also delicious. Service is better than in most restaurants in the area—many restaurateurs could learn a thing or two here. The new beer garden is great; we enjoy coming back again and again.

We discovered this very nice pub on Google over the weekend and were absolutely thrilled. Delicious steaks and very friendly staff. It's definitely worth a visit.

Very good and comfortable and very cheap

We visited there for the first time at the beginning of August. What can I say: SIMPLY SUPER! Nice, open-minded hosts who were very accommodating. We ate what were probably the best bratwursts you could get in the surrounding area. We were so impressed that we absolutely had to go there the next day with our visitors from Hawaii. If we're in the area, there's no way around it.

We can't comment on the food and drinks, as we didn't have a chance to order anything. The waiter was too busy taking our order. So we opted for another beer garden where guests pick up their drinks and food themselves at the bar. It's much faster and less stressful.

Very friendly, competent staff, and the food and drinks, no matter what you order, come out in no time. The beer garden is also very clean and tidy. The bar area and restrooms have all been renovated. I'd love to come back. Thank you

What is really a great small business

I was there over the long weekend. There was live music. Great atmosphere. The grilled food was delicious.

A truly small pub! The name says it all. It's spotlessly clean. A small beer garden with a bratwurst stand. Very reasonable prices. The currywurst, steaks, and bratwurst are amazing! Perfect for a quick stopover or a short stay. (Right next to the bike path). During our visit, it was self-service. I'm not sure if that's always the case, though, as there was a music event on that day and it was very busy. UPDATE 2025: The beer garden has been completely re-seated, the interior has been completely renovated, and you'll be served. Highly recommended.

Enschi and her staff are very friendly and accommodating. I always enjoy coming here.

Just before half past twelve we ate a currywurst and drank two beers, it was very good, quick and inexpensive. Keep it up Great for a snack in between. We will come again.

We were greeted very friendly, the bratwurst was fried very well and tasted very good. The drinks were brought to our table and it was also cleared away. I can recommend everyone who is in Lichtenfels to stop there. We'd love to come back.

We wanted to have a small snack at the snack bar for the first time. So we ordered 2x currywurst with fries and a shandy. I asked the waitress (for health reasons) to fill the glass with more lemonade than beer. When he brought it to the table, I was told to try it first, he would improve it (depending on my taste)!👍👍👍 Then the "small" snack we had been longing for came in the form of -ATTENTION- 2x large curry sausages each with a large portion of fries!👍👍 And it was just DELICIOUS👍👍👍👍👍 So now Tacheles: Staff ***** i.e. polite, friendly, guest-oriented and approachable!!!!! You are still valued here! We come from Coburg and that's why we appreciate such service, especially since we often miss it here! Currywurst with fries***** (but be careful: NOTHING for snoopers 😉) Ambience: Well, it's a snack station, but with weatherproof seating in a tent... period We love coming back again and again and want to try out the rest of the food on offer 😄🤤 In the meantime, good luck with the renovation of your restaurant. We'll keep our fingers crossed!!!

Best grill steaks & bratwursts I have ever tried in my 51 years. Pub is being renovated. Secret tip! You can also book a DJ for events. Info is hanging on the grill stand.

Top grill quality. Super tasty, whether bratwurst or steak etc... Always very satisfied. Friendly staff. Nice little friendly pub, with a nice beer garden in summer. In winter in the heated tent, where you can relax and enjoy. Top top top. Thumbs up.

There's nothing to write about, go there and experience it yourself, all good, when the interior work is finished, then the ambience will be right again, and it's also very comfortable in the heated tent.

Eine authentische Kneipe am Wegesrand - hier bekommt man irgendwas zwischen einem Lächeln, einem Grinsen und einem lauten Lachen aufs Gesicht gezaubert. Bier gut, Leute echt - was will Mann mehr.

Kurz zur Mittagspause angehalten, eine Bratwurst von Grill genehmigt. Freundliches, lockeres Personal. War nur im Außenbereich, ein kleiner, gemütlicher Biergarten. Nachteil sind die wenigen Parkmöglichkeiten. Sonst zu empfehlen 👍🏼

sehr gute Bratwürste. Direkt an der Bamberger Strasse gelegen findet man den Biergarten im Sommer meist gefüllt mit Lokalen Besuchern.
