A very nice place to take a break on your bike or while hiking along the Elbe and enjoy a bite to eat. Be careful in the fall, though, as the chestnuts fall right into your glass. 😀

This is our second time here in a short time because everything is top-notch. The beer garden is beautifully designed and quietly located, unlike other restaurants at the Blue Wonder. The food is truly delicious, and the drinks selection is very diverse. A big compliment to the staff, from the bar to the kitchen; everyone is very friendly, they do their work with love, and you can tell they enjoy their work, despite the stress that arises from time to time. We'll definitely be back and keep it up. Perhaps it will be possible to offer a stage in the new season where small artists can perform live music from time to time.

On my long walks along the Elbe, the air garden is always worth a stop. Relax in a lounge chair with a freshly prepared snack, a cold drink, and a cozy atmosphere. Beautifully situated on the Elbe River, with casually arranged tables and lounge chairs on a large, shady lawn with plenty of space... A place to relax and a welcome change from the "typical" beer gardens. The service is always friendly and attentive, even when it's busy, the food is very good and beautifully presented, and the drinks selection is also excellent. Thanks for the lovely evening!

Great beer garden, lovely atmosphere, very friendly staff, delicious food. It's nice to see this truly wonderful place, which we used to enjoy, being brought back to life.

We celebrated our children's birthdays here in the beautiful garden this weekend and would do it again anytime. We made a reservation a week in advance, and a few questions were answered quickly and friendly. A long table awaited us under a large, shady tree, and we received a warm welcome. Drinks were quickly poured, even for our larger group, and the food (cake and dinner) was truly excellent. The garden is THE perfect location for a relaxing afternoon with young and old. I would like to particularly praise the entire team and their service. Everyone was incredibly friendly, helpful, and in a great mood. So, with us and the entire family, you have definitely gained some new regular customers. 😉 Thank you again!

I visited the place during the Elbhangfest (Elbhang Festival). It was very cozy with a large lawn. There was also live music. The food was delicious, although it took a bit long to prepare. However, all the seats were taken.

We were cycling on Friday and visited their very cozy beer garden, which boasts a lovely ambiance and delicious, lovingly prepared food, topped off with freshly baked cakes. We'll definitely be back.

We found this gem at the Elbhangfest. A great insider tip...very delicious food. I had goat cheese with sweet potato fries. Generous portions, beautifully decorated. Delicious drinks and very friendly staff. You could relax on the loungers under the trees with a view of the Elbe...top!

It's now my favorite beer garden in Dresden! You sit on the lawn under old trees, and the staff is incredibly friendly. The food tastes better than anywhere else, and there's a good selection of drinks. The next visit is already planned.

Highly recommended, especially at the Elbhangfest

The location is great, right on the Elbe River. The food is okay to good. The service and especially the wait time are a disaster, regardless of whether the restaurant is busy or not. It takes at least 35, and usually closer to 50, minutes to get your food, even if it's just fries. With simple improvements, such as a larger deep fryer or a clear allocation of tasks in the kitchen and in the service department, the processes could be made significantly more efficient.

The beer garden is very beautiful and idyllically situated. When you order something to eat, it often takes more than an hour for a portion of fries, regardless of whether the beer garden is full or empty. Our companion received their food 45 minutes before us, and we asked three times about the order status. Unfortunately, the service is completely abysmal. This has happened three or three times now, and this is our last visit here.

A beautifully located beer garden directly on the Elbe River, within easy walking distance of the Blue Wonder. Pleasant atmosphere, plenty of seating under large trees, and a good selection of snacks and drinks.

An old ballroom with a beautiful beer garden. We were there for a concert, but we would have preferred to stay in the beer garden. Delicious grilled meats and first-class drinks in a great atmosphere. Highly recommended!

We rented the hall for a party and brought our own food. So, this statement isn't particularly important. However, the venue is sensational and ideal for a celebration or a masked ball. Simply historic and chic, we'd love to go back!

The beer garden is a wonderful, relaxing oasis. Even when there is a lot going on, you can still relax here. The service is very friendly and very attentive. The selection of drinks and the food on offer are very diverse. The quality of the food is right. The taste is very good for a beer garden.

Great location on the banks of the Elbe. Unfortunately the bratwurst only tastes like a deep fryer... the same applies to the currywurst.

We celebrated our wedding on August 24th at Gare de la Lune and couldn't be happier. Our contact person on the big day was incredibly careful, even if it was a bit wild at times :-) Arrangements in advance were very relaxed and took place promptly. Many people asked us how we came across the location because it really offers everything your heart desires - the Elbe, some greenery, a great ballroom and a rustic vaulted cellar. What we also really appreciated was the honesty and expertise! The food was very tasty, despite a little ambiguity about the vegan version, we were well taken care of and everything was clarified very well. In any case, no one was hungry! :-) All in all, a great location that we highly recommend! Even though it was raining on the day of pickup, someone was there so we could pick up everything. Thanks for that! You made a significant contribution to making it our most beautiful day, which we will never forget. Pizza is a 9 out of 10, pasta is even better The waiter forgot to give us €10 back. Very nice decor, but the Italian waiters are very loud and a bit annoying since you don't understand anything

Went to the concert at EB DAVIS, good sound, drinks for a fair price, I don't know the food, I ate at home, but there was. A bit warm, I don't think there is any ventilation. Needs to be retrofitted.

At the end of the week, a sunny place with a steamer in front of the door, unfortunately without a pier.

A beer garden the way you want it!! We were in Dresden over the weekend and got stranded here on the way back from Pillnitz. A very nice atmosphere, in the middle of nature and on the Elbe. Spacious with tables, but also sun loungers that you can easily take. An extensive menu for the conditions with simple dishes such as bratwurst or curry sausage, schnitzel, etc. Drinks were also good and sufficient. If you want to be in nature to eat or drink, this is the right place for you. P.S.: The beer garden is also located directly on the cycle path on the Elbe.

The place is fantastic and the view of the Elbe is a dream. However, when it comes to your physical well-being and you want to get something from the beer garden, some of the staff try to cheat. A beer and a soda for 17€????? Unfortunately, my girlfriend fell for it. The second time, the cashier tried to scam me out of €10. He wanted €13.10, I gave €50.10 Change €27???? This is fraud and intentional. Please do the math yourself!

We spontaneously decided to visit the beer garden last Friday evening. Since there wasn't much going on, we found a parking space and a seat without any problems at 6:30 p.m. :) We were initially pleasantly surprised by the drinks and food on offer. We ordered 2 beers, 2 vegan falafel burgers and one side dish of sweet potato fries. Beer was fine, but it's better to eat at home. For ~11€ the burger was carelessly prepared and really minimally topped. It was clear to us that a beer garden is not a burger shop - but for €10.99 this burger was really simply cheeky! Unfortunately, the other guests' dishes didn't look great either. Unfortunately, the fries were a bit too dry for me personally. Personally, I would only come back for the ambience and a drink, I would definitely eat first (unfortunately)! Card payment was initially possible, but later the operator told the remaining guests that the internet wasn't working and therefore only cash payment was possible. Unfortunately we expected more from the beer garden..

It's a shame it's not open during the holidays, but we were able to get cakes in plastic, coffee in paper cups and drinks from the machine. Nice atmosphere, there were a lot of guests there, but quite a few left again. Opening doesn't seem worth it, or is there a lack of staff?

A great beer garden on the Elbe cycle path. Numerous loungers invite you to relax in the sun with a delicious drink. Great selection of long drinks, beers, wines and soft drinks. The snacks and soft ice cream also look appealing. We like to come by for a drink, also because the staff is always friendly, motivated and in a good mood.

well... I find the way of service there very strange... Somehow it has the character of a canteen... The ambience is actually really cool. If the service was a bit more personal, I would happily go back, but not like that

We celebrated our wedding on August 19, 2023 in the Gare de la Lune (arched garden including terrace) with around 50 people, including some children. The planning with Ms. Stanik in the previous months was uncomplicated and we were able to put forward and implement a lot of wishes. From “do everything yourself” to complete equipment, everything is possible. The location is very nice, simple, rustic and easy to decorate (which we had already done the day before). The bar in particular really enhances everything. On this incredibly hot day (over 30°C), the interior was completely pleasantly cool, which everyone enjoyed. It was also wonderful that we were able to use the terrace with the same number of chairs as inside and our guests later enjoyed the view of the Elbe and the steamers lying in the deck chairs at the very front of the Elbe cycle path at sunset as there wasn't much activity in the beer garden ( this was possibly due to the combination of back to school and city festival and the insane heat that day). Priceless! The food - which we didn't enjoy very much because of all the excitement - was really tasty, which our guests also thought. We had previously put together our very own combination from the variety of dishes. There was plenty of space for the children to play outside on the lawn (fortunately the ballroom upstairs had not been booked so there were no other guests - so we were able to park without any problems). The self-service ice cream bar also made all the little guests very happy! And of course also the “pasta with sauce” that we specially ordered so that the children definitely have something to eat. ;-) The staff was really friendly and stayed in the background. Cleaning up the next day was also easy. We found the prices to be fair and there were no “bad surprises” afterwards. We can therefore only warmly recommend the team and the location for celebrations of any kind with around 50 people. We wish the team continued success! Gastronomy that drives away guests - I'll never go there again!

We went to the dance evening, there was a good place to dance, there was a good selection of drinks at the bar.

We were invited to a wedding reception here and I can't say anything bad about the location. The ambience in the location is very nice. The food and wine were tasty and the service was very quick and attentive. Can be recommended without reservation. 👍🏻

Mal wieder zu einer Familienfeier dort gewesen, die Nachfeier wegen Corona 40+2 meines Neffens. Die Speisen wurden von einem Cateringunternehmen geliefert. Die Lage des Restaurants an der Elbe ist sehr schön.

Wir haben Anfang September 2023 unsere Traumhochzeit im Gare de la lune gefeiert. Wir hatten für 80 Gäste den Garten samt Ballsaal gemietet und konnten Dank dem perfekten Spätsommer das Außenareal ideal nutzen. Die Gäste genossen insbesondere den Blick auf die Elbe und die entspannte Atmosphäre als gegen 16 Uhr die großen Bäume schönen Halbschatten boten. Abends ging dann die Party im sehr liebevoll dekorierten Ballsaal weiter, wobei die Tanzfläche vor der Bühne Platz für fast alle Gäste bot. Das Buffett von Essbar war sehr reichlich, wurde lange warm gehalten und hat allen geschmeckt. Das Personal war sehr aufmerksam und durch die zusätzliche Bar war die Versorgung mit Getränken immer gesichert. Einzig zu beachten ist die Wärme im Ballsaal, da aufgrund von Lärmschutz die Fenster geschlossen blieben, wurde es bei viel Tanz und Aufregung doch etwas warm und das Eisdessert war eher ein Halbgefrorenes Dessert. Hier vielleicht im Vorfeld an entsprechende Abkühlungsoptionen denken. Insgesamt würden wir jedoch immer wieder unsere Hochzeit dort feiern und waren mit dem Service mehr als zufrieden. Der Garten als Anmietung ist ein echter Geheimtipp. Herzlichen Dank an das gesamte Team.

Ich war hier in 20 Jahren Dresden noch nicht ein Mal, obwohl meine erste Freundin hier immer gedrängelt hat, da mal zum Tango zu gehen... Heute sind wir aus Versehen mit dem Fahrrad da vorbei und haben ein bisschen an der Elbe ins Wasser geschaut. Wer weiß. Vielleicht hab ich was verpasst, vielleicht aber auch nicht.

Wir waren zu einer Hochzeit eingeladen. Der Raum, die Terrasse und das Ambiente sind sehr schön. Leider war das Personal ziemlich neben der Spur. Getränke wurden falsch gebracht, es dauerte ewig und die Longdrinks wurden schlecht zubereitet. Das Essen war leider auch nicht so optimal. Wir hatten schlicht höhere Erwartungen an den Service und die Küche.

Sehr schönes Ambiente...Service freundlich und nett. Tolle Getränke, Speisen sehen gut aus schmecken aber leider nicht. Zum Trinken , chillen und den Abend ausklingen lassen trotzdem zu empfehlen.

Gestern 18.30 mit dem Fahrrad angehalten. Biergarten sehr wenig Gäste. Ich zum Ausschank, der Einzige der sich angestellt hat. Ein Hefeweizen bitte. Antwort: Nein in einer halben Stunde regnet es und wir machen zu. Vielen Dank für den tollen Service! Ich werde demnächst IMMER VORBEI fahren, es könnte ja irgendwann regnen. Den Biergarten werde ich weiterempfehlen...

Prinzipiell ein schöner Biergarten, ich war nur leider schon ein paarmal da und der Biergarten zu, trotz ausgeschilderter Öffnungszeiten. Schade wenn man sich darauf freut und am Ziel enttäuscht wird!

Ich hab hier schon manchmal angehalten, ist immer schön. Heute fällt vor allem der super freundliche Mitarbeiter am Ausschank absolut positiv auf, nur mal so am Rande (es sind alle freundlich). Schön hier! 😊

Haben im Kellergewölbe unsere Hochzeit mit 55 Gästen gefeiert und die Organisation vorab war wirklich top. Das Personal war super nett und wir haben uns wirklich gut aufgehoben und wohl gefühlt :-) Ein riesiges Danke an alle Beteiligten <3

Herlichstes Ambiente, lecker Essen und total nettes Personal. Wir saßen draußen im Garten, mit Selbstbedienung.

Seit der neue Betreiber übernommen hat, hat der Gare de la Lune wieder sein altes Flair zurück. Sitzen auf einer großen Wiese, Liegestühle und Tische im Schatten oder Sonne. Umstellen nach Bedarf ist möglich. Gemütlich mit entspannendem Blick auf die Elbe.

Das Biergarten von Gare de la Lune ist etwas klein aber die Atmosphäre ist schön weil es direkt an der Elbe ist und auch schön ruhig wo man sich gut ausruhen kann und wie auch das Wetter ist bei schönen Wetter es auch genießen kann

Man kann bei Bier und kleinem Imbiss herrlich chillen

Dixieland Festival-braucht es mehr? Ein wunderbarer Abend mit guter Musik und Tanz.

Vielen Dank an den Mitarbeiter auf der Wiese, der mir obwohl noch nicht geöffnet, ein Glas Wasser gab, das ich zu diesem Moment dringend brauchte.

Einer der schönsten Tanzsäle Dresdens, auch nach der Renovierung. Der Biergarten sieht auch sehr gemütlich aus. Viel Erfolg beim weiteren Umbau und viele zufriedene Gäste wünsche ich den neuen Besitzern.

Schöne Lokalität, absolut lohnenswert.

Das Gar de La Lune ist endlich wieder geöffnet und wurde zu einer wunderschönen neuen Location für alle möglichen Anlässe. Vor allem der Wachwitztanz welchen es jetzt jede Woche Donnerstag gibt ist mein Favorit. Wunderschöne Musik, ein schönes Ambiente und sehr nettes Personal. Eine absolute Empfehlung!! :)
