Saloppe in Dresden

I go there every year for the "Reading for Beer" event. The location is beautiful. Especially recommended in warm weather. The food is good.

I rented the terrace for my birthday party (25 people). We had a wonderful party. The drinks and buffet were good, but quite expensive. The service was excellent. The tables were cleared, and the drinks were served quickly. The atmosphere in the Saloppe is always great. I definitely recommend it for private parties, too.

A casual evening is a casual evening. It's always a good time. This is where people meet after work to end the day in a summery mood.

We were there to see Olaf Schubert and friends, unfortunately we didn't even hear half of what they were doing because the speakers only went in one direction, but there were people everywhere and many left early 🥲

I was there for a company party. Everything was good, but unfortunately I can't say much about the price and service.

The evening with the Serkowitz Volksoper was, as always, very entertaining and musically of the highest quality. Ordering food was confusing; it had to be ordered with the drinks, even though the food menu was at a different window. So, we had to queue up somewhere else. Then it took more than half an hour for the food to be ready. We had to eat very quickly to be ready in time for the concert.

The Saloppe is a quaint place where you can feel at home! We were here in August when Wenzel & Band played. They probably expected a smaller crowd. Tickets were sold out in droves. Many had to stand because there were no more seats (seats were sold)... There are plenty of food and drink stands. We'd love to come back, even though we're not from Dresden :-)

Great for switching off without “show victims” and the like.

Part 1: Nice ambiance, a sort of day-trip destination or dance hall. Drinks are recommended. Food is not. Recommended for an evening visit in the summer for a few drinks with friends, as the house beer is very refreshing and drinkable. Part 2: Company summer party 2025 = after a 20-minute delay, we were allowed to help ourselves to the fridge. The selection of bottled drinks was rather mediocre and unsatisfactory. The provided grill buffet was completely insufficient for the number of people, as they didn't refill it (value for money = 5 / poor). It was also too expensive. It was simply bad. I would advise against visiting the Saloppe for larger corporate events.

I could recommend this place, but unfortunately I have some criticism. We went to a Hans Eckart Wenzel concert on Saturday, August 16, 2025. Unfortunately, we discovered that too many tickets had been sold for this concert. We couldn't find a decent seat to enjoy the concert. I think that's a shame, because we really appreciate what Mr. Wenzel does. That's why the service only gets one star. Unfortunately, it wasn't presented well. I hope this criticism reaches the right place, then I would gladly come back again. We traveled all the way from Brandenburg. Kind regards, B.V.

The Saloppe is a lovely place to escape from everyday life during the week or on the weekend. It features a lively dance room, plenty of seating options, and you can even play table tennis.

A great place for relaxation, entertainment, and dancing. After-work on Tuesdays is just the thing.

For me one of the most beautiful places in Dresden, especially for events and after-works

Saloppe? - Never again! We were invited to the Saloppe for a family celebration. The relaxed atmosphere and the size of the area pleasantly surprised us. It was nice that the children could keep themselves busy with table tennis, etc. The drinks were chilled in the fridge for self-service – also okay. Then the buffet was set up with roast pork, chicken legs, pasta salad, coleslaw, bread spread with tomato and herb pesto(?), herb and tomato butter(?), panna cotta, and lemon yogurt. Roast pork: perfect! Chicken legs: dressed with Mediterranean dried herbs. Fresh herbs? Why not? Coleslaw: dressed with Mediterranean dried herbs. Fresh herbs? Why not? Pasta salad: and again – dressed with Mediterranean dried herbs. Fresh herbs? Why not? The pre-cooked pasta had been in the refrigerator for at least 5 days – because then it loses its consistency and becomes mushy in the salad and mouth. Bread station: no cloth provided to protect hands. Herb pesto: bitter! So bitter it was inedible. Herb butter: poorly formed, not evenly blended, gray herbs; herb butter should actually look green! Pannacotta: grainy and gritty in the mouth! Why? Pannacotta -> cream, vanilla, gelatin – nothing can get gritty unless you use ready-made powder. Lemon yogurt: If you use thick Greek yogurt, the dessert becomes beautifully creamy, but this dessert certainly didn't have that quality. Conclusion: a team of chefs has proven that they are completely ignorant of good cooking, lacking professional competence and team leadership. A real shame – sloppy? Never, ever!!!

Very relaxed and always a good place to go. Drinks are good and moderately priced. No matter the occasion, casual dining is always a good idea.

Yes, I can recommend the place. The drink prices are about 10 to 15% too high for me. A night out can easily cost €80-90 per person! Plus food. Hmmm. It's much cheaper in other major German cities.

It used to be a beautiful shop, but since Olaf and his friends took over the shop with her friend who was the manager and ordered too much wine to ruin it, I rarely go there.

A very nice place. We held our company summer party at the Saloppe again, and it was once again fantastic. The food was delicious, the ambiance was lovely, the atmosphere was perfect, and there was plenty of fun and space (outdoors). Top!

Perfect for salsa dancing on Sunday evenings! Or just having a drink in a relaxed atmosphere. No dress code required!

As a beer garden, it's definitely worth a visit when something's happening. At our place, it was dead around 6 p.m. The location was a bit offbeat but perfectly acceptable.

We went to a concert there. The concert was great. The drink selection was good and the prices were reasonable. BUT. They serve either grilled bratwurst or salted bread from a bag. If I have to order food from a "restaurant kitchen" to my table at a concert, it takes away the character of a concert venue. Maybe they should check out other concerts and see what they can offer for food without too much effort. The parking situation was also a disaster that evening! The on-site parking lot was closed for the concert evening, so if you're unfamiliar with the area, you'll have to walk for miles! Oh well, there are better options.

Very nice, quiet place, surrounded by trees. Very spacious on different levels. The staff was very nice.

A very nicely located location. However, you have to queue for an hour for a beer, and then another hour for the deposit. The music is as awful as alternative music can be. I wonder why the DJ is walking around freely. The owners get funding for playing this crap, so I drink a beer or two and leave. It's a shame; it could be made much nicer.

A place to meet up with friends and enjoy the evening in a cozy atmosphere or to attend an after-work party. Simple food at fair prices.

We attended a somewhat rainy event by a well-known Saxon comedian, wearing sweaters. There was plenty of covered seating. Overall, the atmosphere was great, and it would have been fantastic if the weather had been nicer. There was a huge selection of food and drinks. What I especially liked was that there were several bars serving drinks to spread out the crowd.

The Saloppe is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful places to relax in the countryside. The grounds offer numerous seating areas under the trees, simply perfect. The clientele is pleasant, the atmosphere inviting. Unfortunately, the food on my last visit didn't measure up. I had the currywurst with potato wedges (€12.50). I was extremely disappointed: the curry sauce was simply bland and lukewarm, and the potato wedges were unfortunately burnt. For that price??? My polite complaint was fobbed off: "The others wouldn't complain." I thought that was a shame, because with such a great ambiance, the service should also be top-notch.

We're always in a rut. We met over 10 years ago at a Dirty Dancing Party and now our children are here with us. It's an incredibly beautiful place. The food today was fantastically tasty and the staff was very friendly. We'll definitely come back more often now.

A large area with plenty of places to retreat. For the scenario, drinks are served quickly at various locations, but sometimes you have to wait a long time to eat. Anyone looking for distraction and fun can find it here.

Very lovingly furnished and worth a trip, especially when the weather is nice. Pure relaxation but also sporting activities are possible. Nice view of the Elbe

The atmosphere at the Saloppe is great and there are many different events on offer. It's a good place to spend some time. However, in my opinion the prices for drinks and food are (much) too high for “Eastern standards”! That gives a deduction. Margins are really made here. Unfortunately, this has been the case at many locations since 2021... and the prices are now often higher than in the old BL.

A little too many spectators at events. It's better not to think about escape routes.

We had a great evening despite long queues at the bars and a pretty boring DJ who couldn't get the people going. You always had to buy two drinks to bridge the long waiting time. However, the atmosphere and audience were very pleasant and in a good mood.

Cool, dancing on Sunday afternoons with live music, where else is that?! You feel like you've been transported back in time, wonderful 👍! It's self-service and the prices are just on the high end for the drinks and above that and self-service for the food! The place has flair and a good name and no entry fee so swing and salsa enjoy it!!!!

Very nice. Relaxed atmosphere. Were there around 6 p.m. and wanted to have a drink and a bite to eat. Food prices for the quality are already steep. I wouldn't do that again. I had a salad with mozzarella. No seasoned dressing. Was tasteless. There were also lettuce leaves with black flakes and far too much mozzarella. I've eaten much better food for €9.50. Then we had chili con carne. It tasted like a finished product and was also €9.50. Drink selection is ok. When it's dark and there's a party, it's definitely cool there. I wouldn't go there before.

I can't rate the food, it was very crowded, very stuffy on the dance floor and the toilets were a nightmare. The location itself is really nice for a warm summer evening with friends.

Perfekt geeignet u.a. für Firmenfeiern. Durch verschiedene Attraktionen wie Feuerstelle, Bar, Sitzmöglichkeiten, Musik, Tischtennis und Kickerplatte ist wirklich für jede/n was dabei.

Einfach immer wieder anders. Viel Natur und Ruhe...für alle die etwas ausgefallenes suchen, abseits vom "normalen"

Ambiente rustikal, aber gemütlich. Ab und zu sollten die Tische und Stühle/Sessel bitte abgewischt werden. Da klebt einiges. Danke für den guten ☕️.

Ist was für jüngere Leute, ansonsten glaube ich, da geht schon mal was los

Hier ist es einfach schön! Den "Summer in the City" hält man hier im Grünen, auf der Hollywood-Schaukel, an der Tischtennisplatte, an der Bar oder auf der Tanzfläche (Achtung hier ist Hitzebeständigkeit gefragt!) super aus. Hier treffen sich jung und alt und genießen den Feierabend. Von Biergarten über Kultur bis Party...das Programm der Saloppe hat für jeden entspannten Menschen etwas zu bieten!

Ich habe die Saloppe diesmal als Mietlocation kennen gelernt. Es war eine freundliche und unkomplizierte Absprache. Kleine Wünsche wurden uns ebenso erfüllt. Das nenne ich Service! Es hat Spaß gemacht da zu feiern!

Ein sehr gemütlicher Ort zum Feiern oder einfach nur verweilen. Wir kommen immer wieder gern hier hin 👍

Biergarten bei den Elbschlössern. Liegt etwas versteckt, aber der Besuch lohnt sich. Di und Do ist Afterwork Party. An den anderen Tagen ist Biergarten oder andere Veranstaltungen. Am besten vorher online nachschauen. Bis 21 Uhr ist freier Eintritt, danach kostet es 5€ pro Person. Bei schönem Wetter kann es sein, dass ab 20 Uhr schon alles voll ist. Vor Ort gibt es eine Tanzfläche, viele Sitzmöglichkeiten, Tischtennisplatten zum gemeinsamen Spielen. Es gibt eine kleine wechselnde Speisekarte mit ca. 5 Gerichten. Getränke, Cocktails etc. natürlich auch. Preise sind in den letzten Monaten deutlich gestiegen 0,5l Bier 4,50€, aber immer noch in Ordnung.

After Work immer zu empfehlen....erst ne Runde Tischtennis und danach Abdancen....

Genau das richtige, um laue Sommerabende zu genießen. Abzug gab es nur wegen der endlos langen Wartezeiten.

Mal was anderes. Interessante Sitzecken für fast jeden Geschmack mit Stühlen oder Schaukelbänk oder sogar in einem Magnetfigur.
