Fährgarten in Dresden

Immer eine gute Idee hier zu rasten. Große Auswahl an typischen Biergartenspeisen, leider kein guter Wein aber dafür gutes Bier😀

Waren zu einer Geburtstagsfeier und zum ersten Mal im Fährgarten. Das Hausmarke Bier lief sehr gut, Service auf Zack, Aufmerksam und Freundlich die Mädels . Die Bratwürste und allgemein das Essen war sehr gut. Wir waren positiv überrascht. Auch ansonsten eine sehr schöne Location. Im großen und ganzen das richtige Biergartenfeeling mit leckeren Speisen, Getränken und top Atmosphäre. Ps. legt mal paar WC Steine bitte in die Urinale.

An sonnigen Tagen und Abenden sehr schöne Atmosphäre, schmackhaftes Essen, für Groß und Klein geeignet

Das Softeis ist gar nicht schmackhaft. Also Ostdeutscher ist man anderes gewohnt, Schoko und Vanille schmecken nach gar nichts.

War heute vor Ort Der Glatzentyp mit Brille ist echt sehr unhöflich/unfreundlich!!!!

Erbsensuppe war wohl eher Leipziger Allerlei...roch und schmeckte nicht wie Erbsensuppe. Dafür mit Blumenkohl und grünen Bohnen,na ja. War vielleicht ein Ausrutscher. Die Atmosphäre war jedenfalls gut.

Ich kenne den Biergarten schon eine halbe Ewigkeit.Es ist wirklich schön und unkompliziert dort.Eben ein Ort zum verweilen.Entweder als Stopp zur Radtour,oder Mit Freunden oder auch Familie.Immer ein Besuch wert 😀

Ein rundum gelungener Besuch im Fährgarten Johannstadt nach einem Wandertag. Wir sind zuvorkommend und unkompliziert versorgt worden, auch wenn 90 Personen beinahe auf einmal angekommen sind. Tipp Topp und volle Punktzahl, besonders die Mega Auswahl an Speisen. Eben nicht nur "3 Gang Menü" wie Bockwurst, Brötchen, Senf 😜.

Tolles Ambiente direkt an der Elbe, leckeres Essen. Perfekt zum Entspannen an warmen Tagen.

Ein toller Ort zum Entspannen und Biertrinken. Bring eine Decke und gute Laune mit.

Sehr freundliches Personal. Kaum angekommen hatte unser Hund schon einen Napf mit Wasser bekommen. Obwohl das Geschirr selbst auf den Geschirrwagen zu stellen war, hat das Personal unser Geschirr abgeräumt.

Eis hat nach nischt geschmeckt :( (3,9€ für großes Eis bisl teuer)

Wunderbar geselliges Ambiente direkt am Elbufer. Unbedingt mal im Sonnenuntergang genießen.

Dresden hat einfach wunderbare Biergärten. Als wir so entlang des Elberadweges gefahren sind, habe ich so gedacht, dass Dresden wahrscheinlich die schönsten Elbuferwiesen hat. Und dieser Fährgarten ist besonders klasse. Eine schöne Liegewiese mit grandiosem Elbblick, Picknickdecken ausgelegt, entspannen und - wenn vorhanden - mit seinen Liebsten schnabulieren. Sehr empfehlenswert!

5 Sterne für die Burger - und nochmal 5 fürs Personal. Das war Super-LECKER!

Bier ist gut (Staropramen vom Faß), Essen, naja . . , die Currywurst war schön kalt und das Brötchen vom Grossmarkt.. Für 'ne Rast auf der Radtour reichts. Am besten war der Service! Ich habe mich hervorragend bedient und auch ordentlich den Tisch abgeräumt.

Bratwurst für 5,50€ kalt!!! Das Bier deutlich unter dem Eichstrich gefüllt. Alles in allem, gibt es weitaus bessere Biergärten.

Wir haben im Fährgarten gefeiert und es war wieder top. Das Essen war Spitze, die Servicekräfte freundlich und haben alle Wünsche erfüllt. Absolut zum weiter empfehlen.

Super Essen zu angemessen Preisen. Wenn wir in der Uniklinik sind gehen wir da immer essen.

Ein entspannter Biergarten direkt an der Elbe, ideal zum Chillen mit Freunden und Genießen des malerischen Flussblicks. Die Atmosphäre ist sein größtes Plus: großzügig, lebhaft und perfekt für Radfahrer oder einen kurzen Zwischenstopp. Speisen und Getränke sind einfach und zur Selbstbedienung. Während manche Gäste die Vielfalt und das Flair schätzen, empfinden andere die Qualität als schwankend und die Preise als etwas zu hoch. Freundliches Personal und saisonale Dekorationen verleihen Charme, doch Komfort und Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis können je nach Jahreszeit und individuellen Erwartungen variieren.

Preise angemessen. Und was sehr positiv ist : viele Schattenplätze, wenn niötig, durch genügend Schirme und super aufmerksame und nette Abräumerinnen. Das Personal ist allgemein sehr kompetent und schnell.

Genervte Person am Ausschank. Zum Essen sind wir nicht gekommen, weil die Orga einfach nicht stimmt und ich rund 30‘ anstehen hätte müssen. Wir ziehen jetzt weiter zum nächsten Biergarten

Toller Ort um die Seele mal baumeln zu lassen... Waren mit der Familie vor Ort es war viel los aber kaum Wartezeit. Mitarbeiter sehr freundlich. Wir kommen gern wieder.

Ein Biergarten an der Elbe. Selbstbedienung und Gartenmöbel. Es gibt eine große Auswahl an Bier, der Wein ist leider nicht so lecker und das Essen scheint wieder besser geworden zu sein. Es gibt Flammkuchen, Bratwurst und sonstiges. Im Sommer auf ein Bier geht das immer.

Ich empfehle die Quarkspitzen! Ich hab noch nie so leckere gegessen. Atmosphäre war sehr entspannt.

Fuer einen Biergarten wird hier viel geboten. Die Zelte sind im Winter, Herbst, beheizt. Deko ist Top. Personal sehr freundlich. Man kann Eisstockschießen. Essensauswahl ist super. Bierauswahl auch. Wenn es voll ist dann leidet die Essenqualität. Trotzdem empfehlenswert. Man kann auchbein Zelt für private Veranstaltungen mieten.

Hier stimmt Preis und Leistung. Sehr zu empfehlen der Entenburger. Mega.

Für mich der schönste Biergarten in Dresden. Da steckt so viel Liebe zum Detail drin. Toll was dort geboten wird. Die Lage des Fährgarten, der Service, das Essen , die Organisation bis zur Dekoration alles top. Wir haben dort unsere Hochzeit gefeiert und auch Firmenevents durchgeführt. Man kann immer auf einfachen Weg und vor allen auf Augenhöhe mit dem Chef planen. Super freundlich da steckt viel Herzblut dahinter. Macht weiter so.

In Fährgarten kannste immer fahren.. es gibt Einen Kellner, der immer sehr freundlich ist. Dafür 5 Sterne. Bier und Essen ist gut. Nur ist das Bier nicht voll. Es gibt 0,5l Bier, was super ist, aber es es ist nie voll, immer drunter. Warum? Stellt einfach jemanden an den Zapfhahn der es kann. Ambiente ist super und werden auch wieder kommen, aber schade das dass nicht klappt. Preis Leistung ist okay.

Ich würde ja gern schreiben, dass es nicht schön ist, damit nicht noch mehr Leute hinkommen. Aber es ist fantastisch. Die Lage ist perfekt (direkt am Elberadweg, mit Kreuzung zur Fähre), sodass man sich eigentlich nicht viel Mühe geben müsste, damit Laufkundschaft kommt. Dennoch habe ich das Gefühl, dass sehr viel Herzblut von jemandem darin steckt. Es ist wunderbar hergerichtet, das Personal ist sehr freundlich und Speisen & Getränke sind sehr schmackhaft. Bei letzteren findet man Perlen, die man selten im Restaurant bekommt. Am Besten geht man hin, wenn andere arbeiten müssen. Am Wochenende und nach Arbeitsschluss ist es sehr gut besucht und nicht so ruhig.

Budweiser vom Fass gibt’s dort!!! 🍻🍻🍻 Die Bedienung war sehr nett (vor allem die Dame mit Locken)

Abends immer ein Lichter Highlight.! Leider hat man oder mussten die Preise angehoben/angepasst werden...

An der wunderschönen Elbe gelegen.Man kann hier auch für Feiern und Events buchen z.B. Eisstockschießen.Beheizte Zelte.Gut zu erreichen.Parkplätze in der Nähe.Sehr zu empfehlen.

Essen und Getränke waren Ok .. Stimmung war aber schön .. wir haben Eisstockschießen gespielt und viel Spaß gehabt.

Ist immer was los, selbst im Winter .. für Essen und Trinken wird gesorgt Es wird immer schön geschmückt mit Leuchtelementen

This was our second time at the Fährgarten for our company Christmas party. The food is delicious (I had the duck burger), but the portions were a bit small (especially considering the price). Otherwise, the staff is very friendly and helpful. The tents were nice and warm, except for my feet, but that's to be expected in winter. The restrooms are clean, but very, very cold. We also went curling: we received excellent instruction and support. We were also allowed to connect to the Bluetooth speaker and play our own music.

Curling was really fun. The tent was well heated and the service was excellent.

We were there for curling. The lady gave us a great introduction and was there the whole time, helping us with advice and support. Very nice location.

We'd driven past it for years, but last weekend we finally stopped in one evening. The Christmas atmosphere was very cozy, the mulled wine, beer, and goulash soup were delicious, and the tents were comfortable enough to stay in for a long time even in the freezing cold. The highlight was the curling rink. We'll definitely be back!

The tarte flambée with beetroot was burnt around the edges. I found the food a bit expensive. It's a shame there were no fried potatoes with the head cheese.

A nice place to drink beer in the summer, but the decorations in winter are incredibly ugly.

Lovely beer garden on the Elbe. However, the food was ridiculously overpriced and of poor quality. The bratwurst and smoked sausage seemed to have been reheated five times or microwaved, and were completely dry. When we complained, the only response was that the server couldn't do anything about it. For that much money, it was outrageous. We won't be coming back.

A beautifully situated beer garden on the banks of the Elbe. A self-service restaurant with a pleasant atmosphere and a diverse selection of food and drinks. Definitely recommended.

Unfortunately I have to correct my previous review... I had to complain again. Drinks are way below standard, staff is unfriendly and prices have risen enormously. Everything is getting more expensive, but that's where I expect very good service! We always loved being here, but not anymore from today - it's a shame!

After 40 years, we started our class reunion here, and everything went well, even without prior arrangement. Unless Didi said something!? The coffee machine was ready at 11 a.m., and the tent was heated to sauna level. 😜 Unfortunately, it was so okay that we skipped the city tour and had a pleasant time until late afternoon. It must have been delicious, and we'll have to talk about the beer prices again! 🤔🤔(Just kidding)😂😂 Thanks for the lovely time!

Yes, sitting on the Elbe meadows in one of the most beautiful beer gardens in Dresden... can be a luxury... and on top of that watching the steamer traffic, enjoying the peace and quiet among the crowds and looking at the fantastic skyline of Dresden all the way to the Semper Opera House... beautiful.

Let's put it this way: if I have to pay €5 for a small portion of fries, plus a bratwurst, that's €11, still without drinks, so it's a mediocre snack with a soda and a small beer for about €25. No thanks. We kept cycling. The atmosphere is great, everything's good, but for us, the value for money isn't there, so somehow it's okay. But as I said, it's a personal decision. A few kilometers further on, there were bratwurst, fries, and drinks for €15 total.

It was our first time there and I have to say it was really nice. The service was very friendly. The food was really delicious. Nothing to complain about! We'd love to go back 😊👍

The prices are high considering it's not in the city. In my opinion, it's too expensive, but the rest, the ambiance, and everything else is absolutely fine.

Relaxed seating in a pleasant atmosphere. The food was decent and tasty (goulash, dumplings, red cabbage). The price was reasonable, too. Minus points for—as criticized by others—improperly filled beer glasses and the unfriendly behavior of the employee. The man standing at the grill with a "don't talk to me" expression also left a bad impression on our last visit with his annoyed demeanor.

The term "calibration mark"/"fill line"/"calibration mark" seems to be unfamiliar to the bartender here. And if you then point out that you're paying the price for 0.5 liters and not 0.45 liters or even less, you'll get a rant. This line marks the minimum amount of liquid; foam is on top!

One of the most beautiful beer gardens in the city. I met up with friends for lunch, and we were once again pleasantly surprised. The food and drinks were delicious 😋 Keep it up, I'll be back.

So, we were totally satisfied! Delicious food, friendly service, and a nice atmosphere. As Thuringians, we'll gladly come back! And our glasses are full, too ;) to contradict some of the reviews.

For cyclists, this is a pleasant beer garden on the Elbe Cycle Path with a view of the river. The food is rustic and absolutely fine. When it comes to beer, the barman's mood determines whether you'll reach the bar's maximum (someone in the queue in front of me complained about this, but it wasn't busy). The restrooms are modern and clean.

Wonderful for relaxing and gazing at the water. The sweet potato fries with herb quark are my absolute favorite. Always friendly staff. Great, I feel at home. 🌞

We've enjoyed coming here for years and even celebrated my graduation here. So far, we've always been completely satisfied – whether with the service, the food, or the drinks. Communication via email regarding the reservation was also completely seamless. Highly recommended!

Well, the food wasn't exactly great. But it was a great place right on the Elbe. It was nice for a quick rest.

A beer garden with a beautiful setting and easily accessible by bike, but the beer glasses were supposed to contain the amount of beer paid for. When we asked for it at the self-service counter, we were rudely fobbed off. We didn't feel welcome. What a shame!

I went there on a recommendation the first evening, and then every evening after that. Good, plentiful food, with a wide selection of drinks. I'll definitely go back next time I'm in Dresden!

Unfortunately, the beer is always too low. That's annoying. But it's actually a nice beer garden on the Elbe. The food is quite okay.

We visited the Fährgarten Johannstadt last Saturday. The ambiance is pleasant, but we were disappointed with the service. The glass we ordered for a beer wasn't completely full. When I pointed it out, the glass was refilled with beer from a stale glass – a completely unacceptable practice. The beers my companions ordered also tasted flat and varied greatly in flavor. The food was okay, but didn't make up for this. For these reasons, we won't be visiting the beer garden again in the future and won't recommend it to anyone.

The bratwurst was really black! You have to get your own drinks and food at the bar. The view is beautiful! 3 stars based on price/quality.

The location is great and the staff very friendly. I'm willing to pay more than "cheap is good," but €4.50 for a Bionade and €5.50 for a small portion of fries, and all that self-service. Nope. Sorry, that's extortionate. Inflation or not.

A nice place for a refreshment. They also serve a few simple dishes at reasonable prices. The giant umbrellas are certainly practical, but they do take away a bit of the atmosphere.

The beer garden is in a great location, with a great atmosphere. You can sit there for hours, have a drink, and enjoy yourself. However, the food is not recommended. Most of it is ready-made food from the deep fryer, and consequently very greasy. And at completely inflated prices. The man at the grill was very rude and condescending to us.

Great sitting at the river with delicious (mostly traditional) food, a grill (if there are enough guests around) and a wide choice of beverages (almost 10 different kinds of beers from the tap alone). It's self-service, but the empty plates and dishes are collected and the staff is very friendly. Prices are perfectly reasonable, so if you are in the mood for sitting on a patio, then this is one of the best options around here! Update #1: the spare ribs are the best I have had in Germany so far!!

Great beer garden, huge selection of food, wonderful view of the Elbe and also a partially renovated playground, which the city of Dresden has no money for a complete renovation, what a disgrace for the state capital!!!!

We were at the Fährgarten last night. The atmosphere is really great and the staff who clear the tables are very attentive. There were never any dirty dishes lying around. However, they should make it clear on the notices and when paying which items require a deposit. Not on glasses, but on carafes and wooden boards. But no, they don't do that and thus collect the deposit money as well. When we finally found out about it, we were rudely told that the deposit would be mentioned when paying, but unfortunately that wasn't the case. They urgently need to improve this, as it is otherwise a lovely beer garden.

One of the most beautiful beer gardens in Dresden! A very well-maintained location on the banks of the Elbe. Food and drink stations are located throughout the grounds. The cauliflower and sausage were delicious! A wonderful place to relax after work and take a break from the hustle and bustle of the city.
