The best steakhouse far and wide in Bonn and the surrounding area. I can't understand the bad reviews at all; they're almost suspicious. I've never had a bad experience there, and my whole family has. A few days ago, we enjoyed a sensational 400g entrecôte with delicious red wine and top-notch service. If you really know your stuff when it comes to meat and steaks, this is the place to be. See you soon.

The food is excellent😄 Dinner was delicious, Argentinian style. The meat was perfect; I've never eaten anything so delicious. The owner and staff were super nice. I can only recommend it, top notch.

Very friendly and attentive waiter, and the Chateaubriand is a poem! Rarely eaten so deliciously. The only thing that needs to be worked on a little is the thermal concept of the plate. Nevertheless, an unconditional recommendation!

Unfortunately, a disappointing visit after previously very good experiences This was our fourth visit to this restaurant and we've always had a very positive impression – especially the meat platter with beef fillet, lamb, and chicken, as well as the vegetable stir-fry, absolutely impressed us on our last visit, both in terms of quality and taste. The price-performance ratio (approx. €90) was also good back then. Unfortunately, our current visit was no longer comparable: the portion was significantly smaller (estimated at around 500g instead of the previous approx. 750g), the meat – this time sirloin steak instead of fillet – was consistently medium instead of medium rare as ordered. The fries were soft and barely seasoned, and we were served a single, rather poorly presented portion without mayo. Furthermore, chicken was served, even though we hadn't specifically requested it this time. We expressed our feedback in a friendly and calm manner, but there was little understanding – on the contrary, the waiter reacted rather irritably, and nothing was done to remedy the situation. Even when we asked, we were charged a price of €90, which we couldn't understand given the significantly reduced quality.

A very good steak, but not exactly cheap. But it was worth the money

El Gaucho looks quite nice inside, with a fitting style for an Argentinian steakhouse. The outdoor seating, however, is narrow and rather uncomfortable, and the roller shutter door hanging over our heads could use a cleaning. One can only hope that no dirt gets loose and falls into our plates while eating 🙈. The service was friendly but seemed a bit passive. The food was a mixed bag. The albondigas were nicely salty, while the empanadas were very tasty. The accompanying sauce had a pleasant spiciness. The beef fillet, which was ordered medium, was grilled a bit too long, but tasted wonderful. The jacket potato was really tasty, but the spinach was inedible. It's difficult to give an overall rating. The Malbec we ordered was out of stock, so we opted for the more expensive one. It was served a bit too warm. Cologne has a huge selection of restaurants; I'll prefer others in the future.

Amazing food, with amazing service! Cook on the steak was perfect, with a great sear. A must visit if stopping in Aachen!

Let's not kid ourselves, high-priced standard cuisine without any special touch or that certain pizzazz. Predominant use of convenience basic products. For industry experts close to system catering. It would be unfair to compare the current circumstances of this historic site with the Labyrinth times, but this shadow always remains over the current operators. Out of collegial fairness, a sufficient plus... It's a shame, the previous operator put a lot of heart into achieving outstanding culinary results
