El Cazador Steakhouse in Wesseling

We were there for the first time today, and definitely not the last. The goat cheese is absolutely perfect, and we haven't had such a good steak in a long time! And we really like trying different and good restaurants...we were there with four adults and one child, and everyone loved it. The service was perfect; we'd love to come back ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

We went there for dinner with four people on September 20th. Everything was just right: the food was excellent, the service was very friendly, and the atmosphere was very cozy. At the end, the chef himself came over and asked if everything was okay, and we even got a delicious liqueur on the house. Perfect! We'll be back!

We've been here several times now and continue to come regularly. What can I say? We've never been disappointed with the food, the service, or anything else. The cozy atmosphere, along with the amazing food, is simply fantastic and highly recommended. We recently came spontaneously, and it was Spanish night! A fantastic singer who made the already lovely atmosphere even more beautiful. The boss is almost always there and very friendly; he himself regularly asks guests if everything is okay and checks on things. My insider tip: definitely try the cream Catalana ice cream!

Super delicious rack of lamb and a delicious selection of tapas. The food arrived quickly, and the service was friendly. Large terrace, cozy location, and parking right outside.

I highly recommend this steakhouse. I've often driven past it from the outside, and this was my first time eating there. I was very pleasantly surprised. The ambiance outside is really nice. The food was fantastic.

Although the exterior of the restaurant appears rather understated, the interior impresses with its appealing design. The terrace, although compact, offers a very cozy atmosphere to end the evening. The steaks are highly recommended and are prepared to perfection. The service was also excellent; our waiter was very attentive and friendly. 5 stars more than deserved.

A bit plain for the price, with paper napkins and no table cloth. Steak and the bacon covered figs were excellent. The sauteed mushrooms and aioli were quite salty. The chicken breast was rather small and of average quality. I was expecting a better experience based upon the reviews.

We dined at El Cazador on July 29, 2025, with a group of 25 people after making a reservation. We received very friendly and attentive service. We all received our individually ordered a la carte meals at the same time! A masterpiece! Kudos to the kitchen staff! Not only did every single meal look great, but every single person also enjoyed it. We also really enjoyed the ambiance. The tables were beautifully set. I can recommend this restaurant with a clear conscience.

So, for our wedding anniversary we thought we would try a new restaurant. We both felt like Argentinian and decided on this restaurant for its 4.8 Star review. We were sorely disappointed. Firstly it was nothing classy. No tablecloth, no cloth napkins and no cosy atmosphere. A tad noisy to a large group, but hey that is nothing to complain about. The waiter then came and suggested a bottle of wine for our anniversary dinner, see picture. He said the bottle regularly costs €88.00, but was on sale for €55.00. We said, hell why not, it's a special day, but a 400% markup for a €15,00 bottle is profiteering at its limit. Had the bottle not been "on sale", it would have been nearly 600 % markup. The food was nothing special. The mushroom appetizer (tapas) was salty, the garlic butter was salty (I guess they wanna sell more wine and water) and the chicken breast my husband had, was small. No salad was offered with the meal. My 200 gr. €38.00 filet Steak was cooked to perfection though, but my baked potato was cold. The expensive bottle of wine was wrapped with a kitchen paper towel. Overall a very expensive and very disappointing experience. We won't patronize this location again.

Unfortunately, the ingredients were mediocre. The patatas bravas were soft, and the canned corn in the salad was a standout. It was simply too expensive.

Perfect appetizers, the goat cheese salad was divine. The chicken breast fillet was very generous and delicious... the sangria was also very good. The service was very friendly... all around fantastic. We'll be back. Another fantastic meal today. Thank you very much.

Absolutely recommended if you want to go out for a good meal. Price performance really good. The food was great through and through and simply had a different taste. Portions were appropriately sized and the waiter, who was apparently on duty alone, handled it very well without any noticeable stress. The ambience is also very tasteful.

We had a wonderful evening here! The rump steak was perfectly fried and the salmon was incredibly tender and fresh. There was also a delicious sangria that had just the right mix. Finally the Crema Catalana, a dream! The place is beautiful, you immediately feel at home. The waiters were super nice, attentive and made the evening even more enjoyable. I wanted to have a nice evening with my husband. We ordered beef fillet with side dishes. The beef fillet tasted great, the side dishes didn't come with the meat. When we were finished with the piece of meat, our side dishes arrived.

There were two of us there, we ordered two steaks and paid over €100 with drinks. We were given bread and a few olives as a welcome and then the waiter asked if we wanted aioli with it and said yes. Then we got that and then after 10 minutes more bread came, and then the bill said €4.5 for bread with aioli and that was a total rip off. The steak was delicious but unfortunately the side dish wasn't.

I was there for the first time. The food was super tasty. The nice lady who served us was simply bombshell. The young gentleman in service was also fantastic. At the next table there was a gentleman who complained, which in our opinion was completely exaggerated. But the two service staff were very patient and responded very well. My girlfriend and I visited this place based on a friend's recommendation. We had lamb ribs with patatas bravas and aioli, and for dessert, we enjoyed crème catalana. It was one of the best meals we have ever had. The ambiance and service were also excellent. We would definitely go back.

Very nice atmosphere. The food was delicious but despite the starter, main course and dessert we went home hungry, and that for the high price of around 50 euros per person! One waitress wasn't particularly friendly, there's nothing to complain about with the rest of the staff. We won't be coming back again.

We have been there several times and have had quite good meals. This time, however, the steak was so mixed that it was mostly inedible. When I asked the waitress about it, I only received the answer that he would let the kitchen know. You have a new supplier and they don't seem to offer such good quality. Even when asked, there was no discount. This is certainly not how you treat guests who are supposed to come back.
