Positive surprise in Paderborn. The food isn't exactly great, nor is the ambience. But the service! Anyone who doesn't tip generously is a cheapskate. Absolute recommendation. Reservation recommended! The restaurant is packed in the evenings!

The ambience is nice and the staff was friendly. The food and the quality of my rump steak were also fine. But since I come from the catering industry myself, I notice a few little things that could be done better. The food was rather carelessly prepared. The croquettes were lost in the large white bowl. Instead of serving the sauce in a glass bowl that you use for jam at the breakfast buffet, you could use a nice gravy boat. In general, how about a few herbs on the plate where the meat is, a nice wooden board, a sensible steak knife?! or a small bread basket as a greeting from the house? The food alone simply wasn't convincing here. Furthermore, there was chaos when we wanted to pay. There were nine of us and instead of the condition of coming to the table, two of us were supposed to go to the counter. We were then asked to move to the front of the counter because it was too crowded. The card machine couldn't be found and there wasn't enough change. Paying took at least ten minutes. Some work could be done on the organization here too. All in all it was still a nice evening, but other steakhouses have more to offer.

Very good, unfortunately the steak was supposed to be English and was medium/pink.

Unfortunately, the steak wasn't that good, we've had better steaks in Paderborn. The meat was very tough and too bloody if cooked medium rare. It's a shame the whole thing was too expensive. We also found the waiter quite intrusive with his sayings. That's why the food is only 2 stars and the service is 3 stars. So I'll be going back to another steakhouse soon.

As an English speaker the server was fantastic and welcoming abling me to browse the menu at ease. My meal was a fillet steak served English (no relation) with peppercorn sauce. I was cutting some of the thinnest slices just to prolong the flavor and experience. Happy with my meal I decided to experiment with a snail starter for dessert, while I'm still not welcoming to them as a food source, the cheese cream sauce they were served I could eat all day.

I ordered a rib eye steak for over €30. Instead of Medium+, it arrived raw. The waiter was very attentive and offered to exchange it. After everyone had finished eating, my steak came back with the same - now cold - baked potato.

Wir kommen regelmäßig aus 100 km Entfernung zum (für uns) deutschlandweit besten argentinischen Steak ins La Pampa. Bisher waren auch alle mitgebrachten Gäste total zufrieden. Wir sind immer mehr als satt geworden. Das Personal ist wie immer sehr freundlich und aufmerksam, das Ambiente rustikal-gemütlich und lädt zum Verweilen ein. Preislich sind Fleisch und Beilagen absolut moderat (für eine gute Fleischqualität aus vernünftiger Tierhaltung braucht man keine Dumpingpreise erwarten...). Wir kommen immer wieder sehr gerne!

Nun ja, es ist ein Steakhaus. Man versteht sich sehr gut auf die Zubereitung von Fleisch und den dazu passenden Beilagen. Der Service ist flink, aufmerksam und zuvorkommend, ohne aufdringlich zu sein. Das Ambiente ist ein bisschen aus der Zeit gefallen, hat aber seinen Charme, zumal es sehr aufgeräumt und sauber erscheint. Als Gast fühlt man sich willkommen, freut sich, dass das Restaurant die Lockdowns überstanden hat und kehrt deshalb bestimmt gerne wieder. Tip für Automobilisten: der Parkplatz der Paderhalle ist nur wenige Gehminuten entfernt und ist meistens auch frei. Nachtrag: Easypark ist jetzt verfügbar, ein Grund mehr, hin und wieder die lippischen Wälder zu verlassen und in Paderborn vorbei zu schauen.

Ein sehr empfehlenswertes Restaurant. Waren zum Geburtstag meiner Freundin hier und wir haben jeden Bissen genossen. Sie hatte Pute mit Sauce béarnaise und Pommes. Pute war perfekt gebraten und Pommes schön kross aber nicht verbrannt. Ich hatte ein Rumsteak medium mit Bratkartoffeln Speck und Spiegelei. Steak war ein absoluter Genuss. Spiegel und Kartoffeln waren ebenfalls perfekt. Auch Vorspeise(Krabbencocktail) und Nachspeise hausgemacht(Tiramisu) sehr sehr lecker. Service war ebenfalls schnell und freundlich. Ist jeden Stern wert. Gerne wieder.

Super Essen. Aber das Ambiente lässt leider zu wünschen übrig. Top ist Argentina.

This is around about my 100th time at la pampas and usually it is an amazing experience but for what ever reason this time wasn’t the best. I asked for my steak to be medium rare but it came out more medium-well done. My wife’s chicken wasn’t the best either and the waiter completely forgot 2 of our drinks but still put them onto the end bill. All in all not the best experience compared to how I remember. Hopefully it’s just a 1 off

Tolles Essen in netter Atmosphäre. Wir waren insbesondere von den Fleischgerichten sehr begeistert. Beilagen konnten flexibel ausgewählt werden und auch auf besondere Wünsche wurde Rücksicht genommen. Die Soßen waren uns ein klein wenig zu salzig. Die Mittagskarte bietet Tagessuppe+Gericht+Dessert zu einem fairen Preis an. Eingang rollstuhlgerecht. Die Toiletten sind sehr eng und klein. Meist freundliche Bedienung.

Wir waren zum Firmenevent hier Essen. Hatten vorher bestellt. Die Bedienung waren flott und zuvorkommend. Das Essen war sehr lecker. Die Steaks, ob Medium oder Well done waren super. Alles war frisch Kann man nur empfehlen.
