We were there in the middle of the week with 8 people, 2 small and 2 big children. Very very tasty. We had ordered the records. Everything is great. The waiters and boss were very friendly. You can sit and eat outside very nicely, looking directly at the park. Were very satisfied. 👍🏻

We opted for the grill plate for two and ordered medium rare. The waiting time was quite long and when it arrived it was completely finished. So we asked for something new and at least it was quite good and tasty. Unfortunately the supplements were already empty. The service is very nice, but there is no quality behind it. Unfortunately for me, my first and last visit.

We can call it steak art. The service is top notch, the view is amazing and I'm sure it's a delicious steak that you won't forget. Also, the potatoes were delicious, and this place definitely deserves 10 stars…

There is a very rustic atmosphere at El Rancho. The food was a treat, except the potato gratin wasn't to my liking. The service was very friendly, but that evening the kitchen felt a bit overwhelmed, but overall the experience was very pleasant 😊

Food was great, there was only one small thing, we had ordered mayonnaise and ketchup with the fries, which came to the table in a bottle from Lidl. There are definitely other ways to present these on the table.

I was passing through and was looking for a good restaurant in Paderborn. I came across the steakhouse el Rancho. I've eaten steak many times. Including in Texas, USA. So I can say that I know what this tastes like. I have to say the steak here is pretty close to one from Texas. The service was also great! The location with a view of the cathedral also. Deserved 5 stars. Just great!

5 star deluxe. The food was first class. The staff was super nice, very polite, helpful and not intrusive. Cleanliness is also very important here. A lovely evening with friends in a cozy restaurant at the Paderquelle.

Great food and very friendly service. They took the extra time with the children to let them order themselves. We were always asked if we jeeded anything without being bothered to much. We had a table of almost 20 people and the food all came almost at once. Very proffesional.

Essensqualität super. Räumlichkeiten sehr laut.Man kann sich schlecht unterhalten. Wir wurden leider nicht nach einem 2Getränk gefragt. Rechnung stimmte nicht ,kann vorkommen.

Essen und Service waren sehr gut; aber ich muss 2 Punkte abziehen für die unglaubliche Lautstärke im Lokal wenn es voll ist. Es gibt auch keinerlei dämpfendes Assesoire wie z.B. Gardinen. Wenn man seinen Nebenmann anschreien muss gibt's nur eins: Steak rein, kein Dessert, nur schnell wieder raus...

Op aanraden zijn we hier gaan eten en dat was een uitstekende zet. Had een 200 gr Argentijnse steak en die was me mals echt heel goed. Zo van barbeque op een gloeiend heet bordje waar het zo verder bakt, heel bijzonder. Als je in de buurt bent zeer zeker een aanrader.

Tolles Restaurant mit sehr netten und aufmerksamen Mitarbeitern. Besonders das Baguette und der Dip der vorab an den Tisch kamen waren ein Gaumenschmaus. Wir werden bestimmt nochmal kommen sofern wir Paderborn nochmal besuchen.

Wir waren gestern Abend zu Gast, das Personal war sehr aufmerksam , sehr freundlich. Das Essen war lecker , allerdings war das Fleisch leicht über den garpunkt, was dem Geschmack aber nicht geschadet hat. Wir werden nochmals zurück kommen ...... Als Tagesgericht Argentinisches Hüftsteak gewählt mit Ofenkartoffel und Salat, wunderbar zart auf den Punkt gegrillt, eingerahmt in schmackhafte Gemüsesuppe davor und Eis danach, das Ganze für 16,90€ und der schöne Ausblick auf die Paderquellen gratis dazu, gerne wieder!

Das Essen (Steaks) waren erstklassig. Die Betreuung (Bedienung klingt hier falsch) war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Wir saßen im Aussenbereich... es war einfach klasse.

Hallo, ich möchte eine kleine Bewertung hinterlassen. Beginnen wir mit dem Guten: Das Essen war gut, der Preis war auf dem Niveau. Was mir nicht gefallen hat, minus 2 Sterne dafür: Ich hatte im Voraus einen Tisch für 9 Personen reserviert, aber als wir ankamen, war der Tisch nicht vorbereitet. Wir mussten warten, bis der Tisch fertig wird. Der Tisch war direkt am Eingang vorbereitet, was nicht sehr bequem war. Die Einstellung gegenüber Besuchern könnte besser sein. Mfg Denis

Ich bin immer wieder restlos begeistert, wenn ich dort essen gehe! Sehr freundlicher Service, nicht zu lange Wartezeit, ich fühle mich dort einfach wohl, man ist bestrebt, Alternativen anzubieten beim Essen, wenn möglich. Und mir hat bis jetzt immer alles geschmeckt. Dieses Restaurant kann ich wärmstens empfehlen!

Vorab: es ist Libori und überall viel los. Wir haben gestern Abend draußen an der Pader gesessen und wollten dort den Abend ausklingen lassen. Wir hatten auch nicht mehr allzuviel Bargeld dabei und haben gefragt, ob Kartenzahlung möglich ist. Die Bedienung meinte, ab 19 Euro wäre Kartenzahlung möglich. Da es draußen jedoch voll war haben sie jede Runde einzeln kassiert (so kommen wir zu zweit nicht auf 19 Euro). Als wir ein 2. Getränk beim Kellner bestellt haben sagte der "Chef" zu ihm, die bekommen nix mehr, die haben kein Bargeld dabei! Ich denke, Service wird in Deutschland 2023 anders geschrieben!

Super Service und nette Belegschaft. Selten so schnell Essen und Getränke bekommen. Wir waren spontan abends unter der Woche dort und das Restaurant war gut gefüllt. Auch beim einsetzenden Regen wurde schnell und umsichtig agiert. Top! Zwar liegt die Priorität der Küche auf den Fleischgerichten, aber die beiden Fischgerichte auf der Karte sind aller Ehren wert. Super lecker in Kombination mit den Beilagen gewesen. Auch das Brot mit der pikanten Sauce vorab schon sehr nett. Ein schöner Abend!

The “go to” Steakhouse in Paderborn. I have tried all the Steakhouses in Paderborn and El Rancho is by far the best in quality, service and ambient. I have been using this steakhouse for circa 8 years now, and travel far and wide, I have yet to find a better steak anywhere. Great team with Ishmael and Osman the charismatic front of the steakhouse. I recommend it without hesitation to everyone. My family always insist on an evening when in El Rancho when visiting me from Ireland and the UK. It is also a first port of call when I have business guests, aa d where we have our Company Xmas meal every year.

During my stay in Paderborn i Visisted this steakouse several times, I also visited the number one steakhouse, but this one made me come back. The meat is so good and so full of taste. For me its the best steakhouse in town

El Rancho is in my opinion, the best steakhouse Paderborn has to offer. Great location next to the Pader springs. The service is always top class, with the customers receiving personalized attention. The best part is of course the steaks, which are prepared as per your specification. A recommended place for steak aficionados!

I've been here many times now and cannot fault the food or the standard of service. Friendly, helpful non overbearing staff and top notch food.

We came without reservations and they were gracious enough to squeeze us in. As a result our meal was just a bit rushed but I want to be fair and not downgrade the service too much. The steaks were all good and one of our members got the cordon-bleu and said it was good as well. The seating is a bit crowded and the restroom is a tight fit so I don't think a wheelchair would do well.

Grande Fillet Steak with garlic butter, mushrooms & chips - the best ever. Recommend that that reserve a table before you go, very busy.

Saturday evening we were looking for a place to have a light diner, to eat some tapas and have a bottle or may be two bottles wine, the place has a nice terrace so that decided to stay here, at the entry we were asked do we want to eat or only drink, without knowing the card it is difficult to say whether and what we are going to eat. But without a commitment that we will be eating here we did get a table. It is incredible that the service personal manage tables in the restaurant and give you an ultimatum from very beginning that without an eating a stake you are not welcome here. At that time there were empty at the restaurant.

Another fantastic meal at El Rancho, we were greeted and seated by the friendly staff. Our drinks order was taken quickly and arrived quickly. The food was hot and fresh and cooked how we had requested. Portion sizes are really good and it was easy to share the side dishes between us. Lots of choice on the menu and all good value. The atmosphere is so relaxed and friendly, was a perfect meal out. Highly recommended!

After a two year absence my return to El-Rancho did not disappoint. The staff were as friendly and accommodating as I remember, preparing a table for 14 at the drop of a hat. The steaks are unbelievable, my grande rib/eye was melt in the mouth. Hopefully not another two years until my next visit.

Beautiful place to eat in a lovely location. I have ate in El Rancho many times in my visits to Germany & always return. Service is always attentive & pleasant. The food is so fresh & cooked to perfection. Would recommend a visit !!

Went here for a team get together and was not too impressed. The food looked really good but unfortunately everyone complained their meals had too much garlic or salt on it. This will be a short review as I intend to take the family there for a meal and hopefully return with a more detailed review.

Nice location overlooking park/water features in Paderborn. Good food, efficient service, nice salad bar, reasonably priced. Was very busy when we went on a Saturday evening, we hadnt booked but they managed to squeeze us in.

We have eaten here a few times with work functions. The setting is nice, especially in the warmer months when you can eat outside. The service is good, choice is varied and all cooked very well. Great for a couples meal or a group outing.

We visited here this evening and thoroughly enjoyed our experience. The steak and chicken we ordered were all very well cooked, nice and juicy. The fries were good too. Great customer service and not a bad price either. Would've paid more for the same meal...

I read the restaurant reviews and decided to go there . The first thing that was suspicious to me is that staff doest speak spanish. Neverless I ordered rib eye steak. It was the worth rib eye steak I ever ate. Really I do better...

Called in on a Sunday evening and were greeted by friendly welcoming staff who were attentive but not annoying all evening. Food was great too although 'rare' was a bit more 'medium rare'.

This place occupies a beautiful location in the water gardens, serves gorgeous steak and has the most gracious and lovely staff. They can't do enough for you. Really highly recommended.

Just been for the first time and it was fantastic, the beer, wine, food and staff were outstanding, definitely the number 1 in paderborn. It is a must.
