Everything was delicious!! The meat was high quality, the empanadas (they didn't make it to the photo) were very tasty and had lots of meat!! SPECTACULAR

This was our very first time here, and we'll definitely be back. We had a platter for two that was absolutely delicious—simply fantastic! The atmosphere is wonderful, the food is amazing—the quality and everything else just come together perfectly.

I was here 29-11-2025 with my partner and 4 year old child. The restaurant looks very authentic, the staff is very nice and helpful and the food is simply perfect! I can recommend Parrillada - buenos aires for 2 persons. we also ordered Pisco sour, white wine, they have Los Pagos, a sauvignion blanc from Chile (*****) From the house we got fresh bread with Chimichurri Sauce. So if you want to have a dinner in an wonderful environment: go here!

We were there as a family on a Saturday, and it wasn't too crowded. The servers were very attentive and friendly, and they explained the dishes if needed. We had different empanadas as appetizers – highly recommended! The steaks were all excellently cooked and grilled to our liking. The owner personally checked on us and even grilled one of them a little more. The side dishes were of a good standard. We also treated ourselves to dessert. In short: great service, delicious meat – we'll be back!

Even upon entering, you sense that more than just cooking is happening here: Charcoal, imported directly from Argentina, burns on the grill, its aroma whispering tales of endless pampas, traditional asado culture, and genuine craftsmanship. Owner Dario himself stands at the grill, as if conducting the flames. You can see how deep his connection to his craft of meat runs – and you can taste it in every bite. The meat is of a quality rarely found: tender, aromatic, and grilled with precision. Every plate is a tribute to Argentinian cuisine. One detail that makes this place even more magical: Through the windows, you can watch the horses in the adjacent riding arena. This image – fire, meat, Argentinian charcoal, and graceful horses in motion – reinforces the feeling of being transported directly to Argentina for the evening. It's an atmosphere that can't be artificially created – it's simply there. The restaurant is suitable for everything – private celebrations, romantic evenings, special occasions, or simply a moment of pure enjoyment where you forget you're actually in Germany. The entire team is warm, attentive, and genuinely passionate about what they do. Our group – from the youngest child to the oldest guest – received a warm welcome and were exceptionally well looked after, which made this evening truly special. We went there in the evening on a recommendation and were very pleasantly surprised. More than we expected. From the service to the food, everything was top-notch! The Kellers are still relatively new to the industry, which was noticeable, but their friendliness and accommodatingness made it not a problem at all. The meal took a while, probably because the kitchen staff are also new, but the wait was definitely worth it! I highly recommend the homemade fries and the braised vegetables. We had different types of meat, and they were all simply delicious. So delicious that I couldn't decide which one tasted best. To finish, a dulce de leche ice cream rounded it all off. Value for money = top-notch! The ambiance perfectly complemented everything. On one side, you can watch horses training, and on the other, you can simply enjoy the beautiful view of the fields. Even though all the tables were occupied, you could still have a great conversation with your loved ones. The noise level is very pleasant. Just go there and enjoy!

We were greeted warmly by the waitress. After we only ordered two coffees, she said, "So, you're not making any sales." I was very irritated by this statement. Then she brought one of the wrong drinks and promised that the next one would be on the house. Her colleague then took care of the whole thing, as she wasn't at our table anymore. Well...that was our second visit...and both were bad. We won't be back.

Very rustic restaurant. The meat was grilled directly on a charcoal grill and was perfect. The quality was very good. We had a grill platter for two people. Whether it was fillet or sausage, everything was grilled to perfection. The restaurant is located just outside of Ratingen on a very beautiful equestrian facility. If we're ever in the area again, we'd love to come back for dinner.

My wife and I each ordered a ribeye entrecôte for €36 per portion. When the meat arrived, it looked good BUT was tough, stringy and inedible. It was also not medium rare as ordered, but overcooked. I complained about the meat. The waiter took it away and said he would bring a new piece right away. After 30 minutes - when I was no longer hungry - the new entrecôte arrived. It was almost as tough and stringy as the first. The waiter asked if everything was OK. I said that it was also tough and that I was no longer hungry. I had expected that he would not charge me for my portion. But he deducted 10% from the bill. €3.60 and that was it. The bill came to €90 !!!!!! No shame. No consideration. 3.60 deducted!!!!! He probably would have brought me a third portion too. We will not eat here again and cannot recommend the restaurant and do not understand why it has such good reviews.

We were at El Campo on a sunny August evening. The quiet setting and lovely ambiance made for a delicious meal. Everyone was courteous and friendly. The service was fast and excellent, and the steaks were grilled to perfection and tasted first-class. It was a fantastic evening, and we'll definitely be back.

We were there on Saturday at 7 p.m. Even though the restaurant wasn't full, we had to wait almost 15 minutes at the entrance to be shown to our table, and after 40 minutes, we had our first drinks. It took a little over an hour and a half for our main course to arrive. A waiter said they were short-staffed with three servers today, as they usually have five. The food was very good and highly recommended. Everything was of very good quality, cooked to perfection, and served piping hot.

It's been heavily hyped on TikTok videos. I fell for it, too. The price-performance ratio is completely out of whack. Far too expensive for the portion. We ordered a platter for two people for €79.00. There was only one piece of each type of meat on it, meaning each piece had to be shared. We didn't get the fries or the sauce with it. It was definitely too little. The quality of the food was okay, not a revelation, but okay. The appetizers didn't live up to expectations for the prices. The drinks are also very expensive, €5.50 for a 0.33-liter bottle of beer. The service was a complete disaster, with incredibly long waits, and then communication was difficult due to language barriers. So, I won't be coming back here and can't recommend it. I'm sorry, but that was my honest opinion.

The restaurant looks nice, but I would have preferred good food, especially for the price. The steaks were cooked well, not medium-rare as advertised. The meat was tough and sometimes very dry. The fries were average, tasteless, and the presentation was very basic. For a lower price, I would have found the quality to be quite acceptable, but for the price, you expect something significantly higher. We wouldn't go again.

Very nice hosts...we made a mistake when ordering the meat platter and ordered a mini platter for two people 😅 It was funny in the end, and the owner gave us a steak for free because he felt sorry for us. Very nice, and our food, as well as the food my guests had, was delicious 👌 we'd be happy to come back, but this time I'll bring my glasses so I order the right meat platter.

Don Julio in Buenos Aires probably has the best steak in the world. But if you don't have the time or inclination to fly to Argentina, El Campo Argentino is a great place to eat. The food was amazing, and the staff was super friendly. We had a lovely evening! Thank you very much.

A piece of Argentina in the heart of Ratingen. A truly great restaurant with very friendly and attentive service. The ambiance alone, with the entrance onto a horse range, brings the Argentinian flair to life. The food is magnificently prepared on a charcoal grill and wonderfully seasoned. The meat was excellently prepared and served with information about its origin and production. You quickly get into good conversation and feel welcome. We would be happy to come back. The three of us visited for the first time today. The restaurant is beautifully situated in nature in the fields above Ratingen. There are sufficient parking spaces available. The atmosphere is “good middle-class”, we would have expected/wanted more “Argentinian flair”. The welcome was extremely friendly. We got a table with a view of the riding arena. There was a small starter from the house. We had: Rump steak: although it was grilled medium rare as requested, the meat was very stringy and difficult to chew - I actually had to take several pieces out of my mouth (perhaps the meat should have been allowed to rest a bit?). Burger: unfortunately the burger was “ok” - but the “burger fanatics” among us were very disappointed.. Grilled salmon: yes, exactly - unfortunately completely cooked and dry (white inside) and also fatty. A few minutes less on the grill wouldn't have killed the flavor. As a side dish we chose fries, which were very tasty. But here too: only the things we ordered came (you also order side dishes separately), there wasn't even a lettuce leaf or a slice of tomato on the plate as decoration.. During the meal - no demand for drinks. No demand for coffee or dessert after the meal: Hey - you make good money with this? Unfortunately we won't be coming back, it's a shame...

Ansonsten kommt der Chef an den Tisch, der auch sehr hilfebereit und zuvorkommend ist. Wir haben uns wohl gefühlt und werden wiederkommen.

I tried many of the dishes: steak, burgers, beef schnitzel (my absolute favorite and highly recommended) and salmon fillet, everything was wonderful. The decor and location seem charming, quite peaceful outside of the city. Interesting view of the adjacent riding arena, a nice change when eating. Nice staff, cozy atmosphere, you can treat yourself to that every now and then.

I have eaten in this restaurant several times with a very good friend after we tried the Argentinian for the first time. The always perfectly fried steak with crispy fries, the rustic ambience with a view of the horse hall and the always very friendly and courteous service have always impressed us.

We chose this place to celebrate our fourth wedding anniversary with my wife, they treated us first class, the food is 100% quality, from their empanadas to their barbecue, everything well done, with top quality products, the meat like butter, On point, the salad with the best dressing I have ever had in Germany, soft and with a touch of mustard. We were treated to some complimentary fries from the restaurant. We are grateful for that and not to mention the quality of those fries, 100% natural, moist on the inside and super crispy on the outside. The service and kitchen staff are highly professional. The three of us ate there yesterday and had rump steak with various side dishes. I have to say we were all very enthusiastic about the very well fried meat. If you like to eat very well grilled meat, this is the right place for you. Sure it's not cheap, but the meat is worth the price. We've been there before and would love to come back. The staff was very nice, and while you're eating you can look into the riding arena and look at the horses and their riders.

It's been a while since our visit, but we still want to give a fair review. The restaurant itself is in a very nice location. Unfortunately, when we came in we basically ran into a wall of smoke. I think it's great when it smells delicious, but it was really strong and even had to open the windows to let the smoke out. Our entire wardrobe had to be washed after the visit. I would like to see a better extractor in the kitchen. But well, we didn't let that shake us. I would describe the ambience as simple, rustic and a bit cool. The view of the riding stables is nice, although the windows could easily be cleared of cobwebs. The welcome was friendly and the service was nice. However, it was clear that the young man had little experience in the catering industry, and so a few minutes after taking the order he came back with a note and asked for it again. Although the restaurant was very poorly attended, the food took a long time to arrive. We briefly feared that we had been forgotten. When it came, we were initially pleasantly surprised. The portion size was very good and everything looked very appetizing. Except for the fries, the side dishes tasted very good. The fries, however, were hardly seasoned and fried too briefly. The spice was also completely missing from the meat. Well, as a guest you can add your own seasoning, but I expect a certain basic seasoning. We like to go to good steakhouses very often and have to travel long distances and pay high prices to do so. We were looking forward to the Argentinian meat, but were disappointed not only by the lack of seasoning but also by the consistency. Both the fillet and the ripeye were too firm to the bite, although the doneness of the fillet was perfect. However, the fact that we had to wait forever until someone cleared the table and we could pay made us upset. Especially since there was so much ventilation due to the smoke, it was very cold. We could see at least two people from the staff eating together in a side room. If there are no guests or people take turns, that's not a problem. But there is no possibility for the guest to reorder drinks or to order the bill and the tables are not cleared... No, there is clearly a problem with the service. Of course, the staff also have to eat and drink, but please do so in a coordinated manner and one after the other. Unfortunately, I cannot accept this in a restaurant where I pay well over €100. We would give the restaurant another chance, and if little things were worked on, it could certainly become a really good restaurant and would certainly receive five stars from us.

Schade. Schönes Restaurant, teils nette, teils unprofessionelle Bedienung, die keine Antworten auf unsere Anfragen hatte. Leider war das das Essen nicht zufriedenstellend. FLEISCH-PLATTE für 2 Pers. ein Witz. für 80.-€ Drei kleine Stückchen Fleisch, Wurst und Blutwurst. Das Fleisch war wirklich nur sehr dünn, sehr trocken und zäh. 2 Mini Lammkottletts waren fast nicht vorhanden, nur 1/2 cm dick, davon eins ohne Knochen. Eine Wurst total versalzen und die Blutwurst hatte ein komisches undefinierbares Gewürz. Salz, Pfeffer und Knoblauch hätten gereicht. Für zwei Personen einfach viel zu wenig. Wir hatten das Gefühl, dass es nur für eine Person an Fleisch auf der Platte lag. Der Salat dazu wurde hier auch leider völlig vergessen zu servieren :-( Beilage Pommes nur kleine Portion, zum nicht satt werden, kostet extra 5,50 €. Filet wurde teurer berechnet, als in der Karte. Oder die Preise wurden angehoben? Stampf Pürre, ungesalzen undä laff im Geschmack. Zum Salat der Freunde wurde Essig gereicht, wobei das Fläschchen voll mit Frutchfliegen war. So etwas sollte man vor dem Servieren doch sehen... und entsorgen. Preis-Leistung nicht in Ordnung. Die Portionen leider klein und machen nicht wirklich satt. Schade. Das war nicht so wie erwartet.

Run by its own owners, this place offers traditional Argentine cuisine, a very good grill with a variety of meat cuts. Cooking the meat perfectly. For starters we ordered traditional empanadas, they were fried and to my taste they felt very greasy yet they were super delicious. The dessert was an incredible dulce de leche flan, I had never tried it before and it is something I would definitely repeat. Despite not being very full, they were confused with some of the accompaniments on the table but they made up for it with a glass of wine on the house, this good service is greatly appreciated.

I expected everything when I got the address, but not such a great dining experience! The ambience, namely the location of the restaurant in a horse farm, is positively astonishing and invites you to linger and relax. The atmosphere inside the tastefully decorated restaurant was exactly the same. The positive feeling increased when an extremely charming, attentive and patient waitress took our order. The owner, who is keen to serve his guests himself, showed who she had learned it from. And so I was left with food. And that in turn was worth exactly 5 out of 5 stars! Perfect. Everything. Thank you very much and again at any time!

If you love meat without the frills, this is the place for you. There were four of us and every piece of meat was cooked perfectly. Nothing is drowned in sauce here! The side dishes were also very tasty and made from fresh ingredients, fries made from real potatoes and the vegetables were fresh and crunchy. We'd love to come back!

We were looking for a good steakhouse and were impressed by the 4.8 stars out of 200 reviews. Unfortunately I cannot explain this rating. It was an absolute failure and it started with the fact that the answer to the question of what kind of Altbier was available was Benediktiner instead of Füchschen! The waitress was obviously new there, only spoke broken German and wasn't really present in any other way. But we thought, maybe it had nothing to do with the quality of the food, but what was served there as a Buenos Aires platter for €79 for two people was at best snack quality and was served on a lukewarm “table grill”. For the steaks you had to ask for herb butter, for the corn on the cob there was no salt on the table, which you were allowed to get yourself and at first no plates were given to us for the two-person plate, then the starter plates and only when my companion asked, then normal dinner plates. Creepy! What stood out was the provolone cheese starter and the ambience there. We paid €115 for this place that evening, and I think we won't be there again until the owner has changed and we can get a real rating.

Starter: Argentinian starter mix. That means 2 sausages and 2 dumplings for 19€! Unfortunately far too expensive. The dumplings were well. The black pudding was completely wrong. Only the last chorizo ​​sausage was OK. Main course: 2x chef's recommendations 1x rump steak 250g, all with fries. Chef's recommendation was a 200g sirloin steak, which arrived cold and was very tough. Rump steak was below average. Tough and not great quality. The fries were the best part of the main course. Service: We ordered bread twice, but unfortunately it didn't arrive. Only after the third time were we served bread.

A great restaurant a bit hidden and not easy to find. The Steak House is the finest when it comes to food. Everything is freshly made and tastes great. Was always greeted very friendly and the boss comes over and asks if everything is okay. When it comes to the finest steaks, it is my favorite. What you don't always have is a view of the large riding arena. I will come back. Parking lot is a bit full when riders and restaurant visitors come together.

Unfortunately, this restaurant did not appeal to me. Right at the entrance, the staff showed that they did not want new guests by ignoring us. We stood at the entrance and waited for a waiter to come to us for a good 10 minutes. Where in fact the cafe was empty, one waitress in the room, two behind the bar were looking at us and that was all. Schönes Ambiente bei einem Top Service. Das Steak war Top und auch für die Pflanzenesser gibt es ein Gericht zur Auswahl. Hauptfokus der überschaubaren Karte ist aber das Steak was am offenen Grill zubereitet wird. Leider ist der Eingang und das Lokal aufgrund von einigen Treppen nicht für Rollstuhlfahrer geeignet.

Schönes Lokal direkt an einem Reitstall. Ambiente des Reiterhofes sah edel aus, innen sehr gemütlich, Inhaber und Bedienungen ehr nett. Fantastische Steaks. Absolut empfehlenswert.
