Top Italian restaurant in the shopping center.

Great little Italian in German in a supermarket. Came in late evening were very hospitable. We shared an antipasti and had 3 pizzas.

Very tasty, friendly, and competent. We'll be back.

We were passing through Essen after buying a car and were hungry, looking for a restaurant. By chance, we ended up at La Forchetta! The coincidence turned into a stroke of luck! Absolutely fantastic food and drinks, but the best part was the super friendly service! We'll be back!

The pizza was very tasty and had plenty of toppings for the price. We would recommend it. We had to wait about 15 minutes for two takeaway pizzas, which is perfectly acceptable.

We were passing through and looking for a quick dinner to add to our 600 km. A quick Google search led us to this trattoria. Located inside Kaufland, it was a truly pleasant surprise! We were able to sit comfortably away from the hustle and bustle of the shops, the food was delicious (2 pizzas), and the portions were generous. The service was outstanding! We received a very friendly and courteous welcome and service from the extremely personable owner himself. The same was true of all the other guests. 100% recommendation!

We've always enjoyed the pizza here. But now we've lost our appetite for it for the following reason: we've noticed several times now that the pizza chef spends his cigarette breaks right outside the Kaufland, in full work clothes, including an apron and kitchen towel, usually leaning against the trash can/ashtray. Unfortunately, we've also observed people not washing their hands afterward. We don't find this hygienic or appetizing, and a certain level of hygiene is essential, especially in the food industry.

We were here today by chance and hunger. My husband was very skeptical at first because we haven't had such good experiences in shopping centers, but we were pleasantly surprised. Our friendly waitress Kenan was very nice to us. After mega delicious pizza rolls with homemade olive oil (of course we took a bottle with us), the dishes came. Pasta 4 cheese and a gigantic calzone.. I can only recommend it and we will definitely come back. Kind regards from the Ennepetaler 😊😉

The restaurant is really great. The quality of the food is great and the selection is good too. The only thing that suffers is the ambience because the restaurant is in a shopping center, hence 1 star deducted from the overall rating. But I still recommend it, especially for the pizza rolls, they are unbeatable!

I was just there for a quick meal as I was in a bit of a hurry and I have to say that the service is also quick and that the people behind the counter know what they are doing. The small pizza tonno was very tasty and gave me a lot of energy. I will definitely stop by again. I can't say anything about the atmosphere because I left pretty quickly.

A really good Italian! Traditional cooking is still done here! The service was also very good! Price-performance ratio is right here! Easy to reach from the motorway to or from the Netherlands! A real tip for a break! The location in the supermarket is actually an advantage for those traveling through! You can buy what you still need directly!!!

The pizzas are simply awesome and incredibly tasty. In a small environment, we cook and bake with a lot of love, and you are also welcomed and served in the same way.

Die Pizzeria befindet sich im Inneren vom Kaufland. Das Ambiente ist einfach, aber dennoch ansprechend. Zum Essen: wir werden die Pizzen noch wirklich von der Hand gemacht. Selten so eine gute Pizza gegessen. Der Service war extrem freundlich alles in allem sehr zu empfehlen. Noch ein Hinweis: obwohl, bei Tripadvisor steht, geschlossen, war hier offen. Ich denke die richten sich nach den Kaufland Öffnungszeiten.

The price was supposed to be €12.50 but an employee with glasses told me €15, I was with a friend who is a police officer, he also understood €15. That's why I asked "why? It's supposed to be 12.50" then he said "you've seen prices for take away, it's wrong" "Then please give me the correct price list, I'll do the math," it was €12.50 again, that's why I asked again "How can it be €15?" Then he said "I didn't say 15, I said 12.50, you misunderstood" As I said, I was also with a police officer and he also understood 15. The employee (or owner, I don't know) changed because there were other customers and they heard him too, we guess so. I never want to recommend and go here.

Very tasty pizzeria, you can order a pizza there before shopping and pick it up after shopping. The pizza also tastes very good and the prices are in line with the market. I can definitely recommend it!

Pizza was really great, thin, crispy dough, good quality toppings. We weren't impressed with the service; we sat at a table assigned to us in the far corner for almost 15 minutes without being spoken to, even though the store wasn't well attended. We won't be coming back.

Well, it's ok for just quick. But I would avoid it, especially because it has no toilets and you are forced to use the mega disgusting toilets at Kaufland. Where I emphasize again how disgusting and horrible they look, smell and well I don't have to say anything more about it. Food is ok, tastes ok and price is ok. However, I think the service could be more attentive.

There were two of us there in the evening and we wanted to eat something. Unfortunately the service was extremely bad. The artificial friendliness of the service employee didn't change that. Sorry 10 times doesn't get the food on the table. We ordered at the same time as guests at 2 other tables. These were well known to the innkeeper. They also got the food much earlier than us. My pizza arrived when the other two tables had already eaten their pizzas. My son's pasta came much, much later. On top of that there was a metal thread in it. The landlord wanted to make new ones, but we had no intention of waiting another half hour for plain noodles. My pizza was good, but marred by the poor overall experience.

The friendliness, the service, the quality of the food always fascinate me. The owner pampers his guests with passion. The trattoria is located in Kaufland, but you don't see any of the cash register business here. Sergio has created a little paradise for hungry guests here. Bella Italia sends greetings.

The food is just as good on site as when you order it. The only thing that still needs to be worked on is the size.

May 17, 2024 In the middle of nowhere, there is an inconspicuous restaurant in a shopping center. Who would want you to be at the mall? Will it be tasty? being without a car, I had no choice. I'm glad! Because I would probably think about it for a long time on another occasion. The family is hungry, let's go in. At the beginning, we were greeted by a very nice waiter, who then helped us with other topics for him 6*. The food was good, tasty, fresh, good ingredients, interesting (probably a slightly corn cake). I would lie if I said I haven't eaten better pizza, but I'll tell you the truth, it's the best shopping mall pizza I've ever had. Ever eaten. The place turned out to be very good, pleasing to the eye, stomach and wallet because the prices were very friendly for the middle of Europe. Regards and I recommend

We became aware of this trattoria through the voucher booklet. Pizza is delicious, juicy, dough is well seasoned and beers are well chilled. What more does the stomach need? 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

The salad was sandy, something I've never experienced before and the pizza was dry, poorly topped and the dough burned. It's actually absolutely devastating and the pizzeria is lucky that there is hardly any competition in the area, otherwise it wouldn't survive.

Abzocke!!! Das Essen steht in keinem Verhältnis zur Qualität! Wir haben nicht das bekommen was wir bestellt haben , ist uns leider erst zu Hause aufgefallen!! Auf Nachfrage/Retourenwunsch wurde alles abgestritten und das Essen nicht zurück genommen. Sehr unkonventionell Unbedingt vor Ort überprüfen ob das was bestellt wurde auch tatsächlich deinem Gericht entspricht ;) wir kommen nicht wieder danke für die Erfahrung

Die Sterne gelten an den Service nicht an das Essen. Hatten Pizza bestellt. Wollten nur Knoblauch drauf haben. Bevor wir aber bestellt haben wurden wir nach Getränken gefragt, dass wir verneint haben. Was dem Herren überhaupt nicht gepasst hat. Unsere Pizzen waren übertrieben scharf und als wir das erwähnt haben sagte der Herr das er weiss das diese scharf waren und das es auf ihn ging. Wie frech ist das denn bitte?! Nur weil wir nichts zum trinken haben wollten, macht dieser uns die Pizzen scharf. Jetzt ist mir auch klar weshalb er immer zu uns rüber geschaut hat.

Nach dem Einkauf im Supermarkt nebenan belohnen wir uns immer mit einem Essen in der Trattoria La Forchetta. Pizza und Pasta: wunderbar! Besonders gut schmecken uns die Gerichte der wechselnden Tageskarte.

Die Pizza ist echt super erwartet man nicht in so einem Kaufland Komplex. Der Espresso auch sehr gut wie in Italien. Das einzige was ich mir nicht so gefällt. Der Service ist etwas patzig. Nicht freundlich und zuvorkommend.

Ein echter Geheimtipp für italienische Schmeckermäuler ! Warum, da La Forchetta im Kaufland Einkaufszentrum drinnen ist. Jede Woche wechselde Wochenkarte plus eine feine überschaubare Speisekarte al Gusto. Kleine Trattoria zum sofort Verzehr als auch Mitnahme oder Lieferservice, man hat also alle Optionen. Ein großes Bravisimo an Sergio und sein Team

Wir haben eine richtig tolle Pizza gegessen. Personal war top und der Chef hatte unsere Fragen super beantwortet.Das es so ein leckeres Essen in einem Einkaufscenter gibt, hat uns sehr positiv überrascht für uns war es Perfekt. Da wie auf dem Weg nach Hause waren und auch noch Kleinigkeiten einkaufen mußten. Also wir werden auf jeden Fall wenn wir wieder die A3 zur Essenszeit vorbeifahren dort Essen . Wir sagen Dankeschön ;-)

Die Pizzen sind alle klasse, die Wochenkarte hat auch immer schöne Sachen, es gibt auch wirklichen guten Wein...Ambiente ist ,"natürlich " nicht so toll, da die Pizzeria ja im Vorraum eines Supermarktes ist... Lieferung auch sehr schnell und zuverlässig...

Kleines italienisches Restaurant. Essen war sehr lecker und der Preis auch. Das Personal war extrem freundlich. Man sollte sich nicht irritieren lassen, weil es in einem Einkaufszentrum ist. Es ist sehr zu empfehlen.

War auf Geschäftsreise mit Kollegen dort. Für ein schnelles Abendessen gut geeignet. Pizza war gut, Ambiente könnte man ein bisschen schöner gestalten. Würde aber definitiv wieder dort Essen.

Pizza riecht (vor Ort) super, schmeckt enttäuschend. Leider sehr fad. Wenn man für 8 Leute bestellt gibts nicht mal Pizzabrötchen o.ä…. Muss nicht nochmal sein :(
