Very friendly house, clean and cozy rooms. We always like to go there before our vacation. We feel very comfortable there

An excellent van der Valk hotel. We had the family room and would have liked to see a door between the bedrooms. The hotel was also very noisy. We were on the 11th floor and it sometimes seemed as if there was a gym above, below or next to our room. Housekeeping was also knocking on the door at 9am even though we didn't have to leave the room until 12pm. Hotel itself is very nice and parking is free!

Beautiful, modern, sleek hotel with a beautiful lobby and beautiful and complete rooms. Very businesslike, but a cozy (Christmas) atmosphere is somewhat lacking. Competent and helpful staff who speak English in addition to German. Too bad that dinner is very pricey and that the Van der Valk well-known buffet style is only available at breakfast.

Went to a company event in Düsseldorf. Nice and large rooms, everything was clean and the bed was very comfortable. A few points of criticism: It was quite windy outside and there was a strong draft in the room despite the windows being closed. Breakfast, service, meeting rooms - all highly recommended. Definitely a hotel where you can spend very pleasantly, even for several days.

I don't like that freestanding bed in the middle of the room. But that is a matter of taste. Otherwise everything is well equipped. At the buffet it was a shame that there was sometimes the same food two days in a row.

Very nice hotel rooms. Everything is in perfect order. Just make sure you don't get a room on the 14th floor with a view of the airport. Just above that, on the 15th floor, is a fitness room where people start training on the treadmill at 7 a.m. in the morning. That sounds/feels like an elephant jumping around on the floor. People also throw weights on the floor. Immediately wake up and your night's sleep is really over 😵‍💫. Training in that fitness room continues all day long. Even if you wanted to take an afternoon nap because you woke up so early, you will come home to a rude awakening. You don't expect this kind of thing when you pay €170 per night. Furthermore, it is a beautiful hotel and everything is in perfect order, but yes, you come there to sleep.

The hotel itself is very good. Very friendly welcome, plenty of parking, just a few hundred meters to the next tram. If you want to go to the event arena or the dome, it is ideally located. The bed is very comfortable, the room was very modern. The shower head of the hand shower made strange noises and the floor of the shower was not stable, it felt like standing on an air bubble, but hopefully that was only the case in our room - it didn't really bother us during an overnight stay . However, the hotel bar was inexcusable and a no-go. It took 45 minutes (!!) until we received our three cocktails at the table. Including asking multiple times. We were in the bar from 11:50 p.m. The cocktails arrived at 12:35. So an order from yesterday was delivered today. Great at Amazon or Shopapotheke, absolutely unprofessional in a 4-star superior hotel. There were around 30 guests in the entire bar at the time. About half of them were sitting directly at the bar (nice chairs) and the other half were sitting at the tables. At the bar there were at least 2 or 3 bartenders who were always bustling around and two more waiters. Later, one more waiter and 2 (!!) more service managers at the bar. So eight employees didn't manage to serve 30 guests - embarrassing. If the hotel management reads this: please revise the bar and staff concept! One wondered what the hustle and bustle behind the bar was about when the guests at some tables had already gotten up and left in frustration. In any case, drinks didn't get where they were supposed to. Disappointing.

I was there for a conference and completely satisfied. The food was delicious whether for breakfast or lunch. The rooms are spacious and clean, and the bathroom has both a shower and a bathtub with a whirlpool function. I'd love to come back!

I love Van der Valk because of the very, very loving interior design. There has never been a Van der Valk that has disappointed me. I have to admit that there are some hotels in Germany that were not created by the Van der Valk family, so it is not always so easy/quick to transform it 100% into the Van der Valk charm. But the first measures are being taken immediately to show that a cozy “ValkenNest” is being created here again 😉. Düsseldorf is simply the address for me every time I go on vacation by plane. Park, Sleep and Flight offers with wake-up service, very early mini breakfast/quick coffee with pastries at reception while the taxi (included in the price) is already waiting. Good, various options around the clock to eat something and then go to the bar... service with joy, charm and cocktail mixing talent await you.

Only used the bar while charging my electric car. Friendly welcome and service. As an airport hotel it can be used, for a weekend away I would choose another hotel that is more centrally located.

Very customer unfriendly, as a family with a little girl of 3, we deliberately booked park & ​​sleep & fly so as not to have to leave with the family in the middle of the night, everything was neatly booked, and we had telephone contact in advance about parking and the transfer. to the airport and confirmed, everything is well arranged, you think. However upon arrival, without admitting it, it has been overbooked? No possibility to use the concept offered. Asked if anything could be arranged regarding parking, while the parking deck was half full, but we were allowed to figure it out ourselves and nothing was possible. This resulted in an extra booking with Parkos and we were still able to leave at 2:45 am to park the car 2 km away. So we paid almost 200 euros for this so that we could use what we had booked for a total of less than 6 hours. Very rude and there was no excuse. Fortunately, there are more hotels around the airport that are also a lot cheaper with the same concept. @van de valk: is this your way of dealing with customers?

Service is excellent and the atmosphere is fantastic. The room was clean, tidy and spacious. The wellness on the 13th floor offers a beautiful view. Top stay, and it is only 30 minutes from Centro and 10 minutes from Düsseldorf Center. Ideal if you have to catch a flight from the airport the next day.

Normally we always sleep wonderfully at Van der Valk. Now pain in the back of the bed and then we still have 2 days. Service is good and the atmosphere is great. The room is clean, tidy and spacious and meets the van der Valk standard. I don't think they have Swiss sense beds in Germany.

We stayed at this hotel during Euro 2024 and the stay was great. For a reasonable price you get a very large room with stylish furnishings at the Van der Valk Hotel. The rooms are clean & soundproof and the staff ensured that every wish was fulfilled immediately. In addition, the parking space was free for the entire stay.

I'm very disappointed now. We have now been in the highest category in the King Size Suite for about 7 times. For once there were no problems with the hot tub this time. However, the lighting and air conditioning did not work. A wall lamp in the bathroom and the light in the shower doesn't work. In the small bathroom, the light wouldn't go off. You should also expect 2 glasses for the room category. The refrigerator did not cool sufficiently even at the highest setting. There is a constant clicking sound in the room, making it impossible to sleep comfortably. For us, that was it.

Great hotel, even more contemporary and elegant since the renovation, the only drawback for me are the pictures in the toilets. I don't think it's so great to be watched by women who are stuck on. We were here before we boarded the plane to our holiday destination. The room more than met our expectations. Wonderful beds and we slept wonderfully. And there was a very spacious bathroom. You could also make your own coffee and tea. We did not take advantage of breakfast. We did eat in the restaurant the evening before. That was tasty and more than enough. It is definitely recommended because you can leave the car there. We were taken to the airport by taxi. The staff are friendly and hospitable.

Outside terrace was closed...in August!!! Exterior of the building dirty and unkempt. We do not come with van der Valk Düsseldorf. Number 5.

I took part in AVM's Solutions Tour 22 here. A beautiful facility with very good service from the hotel staff. I had a lot of good impressions here and am happy to give it 5 stars! Today was the Solition Tour 24! Everything was TOP again! Except for parking spaces, it was a real disaster and led to a 10 minute delay to the event... that costs one service star but overall it remains 5 stars!

The rooms are very good. If possible, you should book a panoramic room. The view at night is very convincing. Unfortunately it seems a bit dreary during the day. The staff is very attentive and very friendly. The breakfast buffet offers something for every taste. The location is a bit difficult because there isn't much worth experiencing nearby. A garden center, a Bauhaus (opening soon) and, a little further away, the cathedral.

We were invited for brunch. Everything you need for a delicious brunch was there. Only the cups on the coffee machines were too small for cappuccinos and lattes and they overflowed. Sehr sauberes Hotel mit super Service. Hatte vorher angerufen weil ich in Berlin in einem Hotel extrem gefroren habe. Mein Zimmer wurde extra hoch geheizt und ich bekam sogar noch einen Heizlüfter zur Sicherheit. Frühstück und essen insgesamt wirklich super. Sehr sauber. Ich war wirklich rundum super positiv überrascht. Tolles Highlight: der Blick von der Sauna über den Flughafen.

Ein sehr schönes Hotel mit tollem zuvorkommenden Service. Der Ort ist vielleicht etwas ab vom Schuss, für intensive Tagungen aber genau richtig.
