Our visit to this restaurant was a delightful experience from start to finish. Upon entering, we were greeted by a warm and inviting atmosphere, with loving details in the decor that invite you to relax and enjoy yourself.

First of all: the food was outstanding, that's what matters: My nitpicking is at a high level. What would have been nice: - Cloth napkins - Higher-quality steak knife - Getting the bill faster - The service was very attentive, but unfortunately, we were asked the same thing 2-3 times by different people. A little more coordination would have been great. - The crème brûlée was a bit too thick. But otherwise: absolutely recommended, keep it up. Thank you.

Very friendly, attentive service. Everything we had was excellent and cooked to perfection. It couldn't be better. Since we were here during the week, we were free to choose where we sat. However, I can imagine that a reservation would be a good idea on weekends. Prices are within the usual range for a steakhouse.

We were there with a large group for a birthday party, and everything went perfectly and tasted amazing. We ordered a Tomahawk steak, which was cooked to perfection.

La Estancia presents itself as a classic steakhouse with a South American flair, impressing at first glance with its pleasant atmosphere and solid menu. Starter: The meal began promisingly with a thinly sliced beef carpaccio, finished with freshly shaved Parmesan, a dash of olive oil, and lemon. A simple yet perfectly balanced combination that was absolutely delicious. Main Courses: The Chateaubriand steak (500g for two people), served on a small, authentic iron grill, was cooked to perfection medium-rare – tender, juicy, and flavorful. It was accompanied by fried mushrooms, steamed salad, and a baked potato. The latter was cooked, but could have been cooked much hotter. The second main course – a mixed fish platter – was solidly prepared, tasted okay, but lacked any special features. It lacked that certain something one might expect at the price. Criticism: One downside is the use of frozen vegetables. Especially in a restaurant operating in the higher price segment, fresh vegetables would not only be appropriate, but a prerequisite. Unfortunately, this noticeably diminishes the overall impression and makes some of the pricing seem inconsistent. Praise: The staff was very polite, and questions were answered professionally. Special requests were immediately accepted and implemented. Conclusion: La Estancia offers good quality meat and solid cuisine with an Argentinian character. The restaurant is particularly recommended for steak lovers. However, there is still room for improvement in the side dishes and the freshness of the ingredients – especially considering the price. There were three of us there on a Friday evening. The food was good, but the outdoor seating, right on the street, wasn't ideal.

Super tasty and great atmosphere!

Very nice ambiance. Overall, everything was great. Except... When the waitress asks you... "Would you like to try our new slush mojito?" and then finds two different drinks on the bill for €5 each, it leaves a bitter aftertaste. You can see the slush mojito in the photos I'll post. My tip: If you're offered something to try... just ask how much it costs beforehand. 😉

My visit was disappointing in several ways:** 🍽️ **Food:** The meat and wine were far too dry. The fries were overly greasy (tasted like stale frying oil or old oil). 🥤 **Drinks:** My Coke came with NO carbonation. I had to complain – and waited over **15 minutes** for a new glass. 💁 **Service:** Indifferent service. When I gave my feedback, they seemed annoyed and showed little awareness of the problem. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this restaurant.

A lovely restaurant with good food and excellent service. As a family, we all ordered different dishes, and everything was delicious. The Argentinian sauces and the Argentinian dessert are highly recommended. We'd love to come back 😊

I had a roast beef steak with salad and fries (baked potatoes aren't really my thing). The waitress was very friendly and explained to me that roast beef has a tendon running under the fat cap, which I was aware of. Good for guests who don't know that. The meat was cooked to order, very tender, with a nice searing, and of very good quality. The salad and vegetables tasted very good, and everything was attractively presented. Considering the quality, the price was reasonable. Argentinians are never cheap. I would eat here again.

I highly recommend the food...it was delicious...the beef fillet was perfect, and the tiramisu is homemade... The reason I lost one star is that the waiters didn't take long to check on us and then smoked in the customer service area.

I had a fillet steak for €41 that had fatty cartilage on it. I still had these pieces of fat on my plate. I told the waiter, and he just said, "That shouldn't be happening." Otherwise, there was no reaction. A no-go at the steakhouse. Never again!

Nice atmosphere, pleasant service but the food literally swam in sauce. Both the linguine and the asparagus had to be searched for in the enormous amount of sauce. The taste of the sauce dominated the food. And the salad had a yoghurt dressing with far too much sugar. Too bad but we won't be back.

A wonderful and warm welcome from the customers. My daughter and I ate and drank like "gods in France, here in Argentina." Thanks to the friendly service and the pleasant conversation with the server. We felt welcomed like family, and the food was amazing. Absolutely great, quality, ambience, people, music, simply everything

Unfortunately, a disappointing visit after previously very good experiences This was our fourth visit to this restaurant and we've always had a very positive impression – especially the meat platter with beef fillet, lamb, and chicken, as well as the vegetable stir-fry, absolutely impressed us on our last visit, both in terms of quality and taste. The price-performance ratio (approx. €90) was also good back then. Unfortunately, our current visit was no longer comparable: the portion was significantly smaller (estimated at around 500g instead of the previous approx. 750g), the meat – this time sirloin steak instead of fillet – was consistently medium instead of medium rare as ordered. The fries were soft and barely seasoned, and we were served a single, rather poorly presented portion without mayo. Furthermore, chicken was served, even though we hadn't specifically requested it this time. We expressed our feedback in a friendly and calm manner, but there was little understanding – on the contrary, the waiter reacted rather irritably, and nothing was done to remedy the situation. Even when we asked, we were charged a price of €90, which we couldn't understand given the significantly reduced quality.

Authentic steakhouse with top quality and warm service A beautifully decorated steakhouse with an authentic ambience and a large, heated terrace - ideal for cozy evenings. We received a very friendly welcome and were given competent advice on our choice of food. The steaks were grilled to perfection - incredibly tender, juicy and a real highlight in terms of taste! The side dishes and salad were also freshly prepared and super tasty. The service was consistently attentive, quick and warm. What was particularly great was that the boss came by personally to check on our satisfaction – that made all the difference! For us, definitely the best meat you can get in Bad Driburg. If we're in the area again, we'll definitely come back. Absolute recommendation! 😊

We really enjoyed the food. We particularly liked the herb butter and the dip with the empanadas as well as the aioli (I think it was aioli) with the bread. There was only one small thing I didn't like very much, but that's a matter of taste - the corn on the cob, maybe it wasn't sweet corn, didn't taste that good to me. Anyway, we had a very nice evening.

Our friend from Erfurt is currently in Bad Driburg for rehab. So we drove there from Braunschweig. A table for three was reserved. At lunchtime (12 p.m.) you would probably have found a place there even without a reservation. The staff is very attentive and friendly. The menu is very extensive. Everyone will find something there. I had a sirloin steak with pepper sauce and fries and salad. The meat was delicious. Exactly to the point. That's how it has to be. The ladies had grilled vegetables and were also thrilled. A completely perfect meal. LA ESTANCIA is highly recommended. Gladly again at any time!

We went there for dinner for the second time today. Very nice atmosphere and super friendly service staff. The first thing from the house is pizza rolls with homemade aioli, super tasty. After a very short wait, a perfectly grilled (medium rare) sirloin steak, extremely seasoned with great roasted aromas. The pan-fried vegetables are served separately in a cast iron pan, great. All in all, a great evening at the end of rehab. Thanks to the team at La Estancia

Overall, I highly recommend the restaurant for its taste. We also really enjoyed the ambiance. The appetizer was a basket of rolls and aioli, which was delicious. The steak came with three small bowls of various sauces (only one was a bit spicier). Garlic butter is available for an extra €2.90. Minor criticisms: The portion of croquettes was relatively small, the mushrooms in the side dish were very oily, and the sirloin steak, despite being asked for "medium," was more like "well done." Otherwise, we were very satisfied. The restrooms were very small. Perhaps removing the door in the space between the two rooms and moving the locking mechanism to the front door would be a good idea.

A nightmare, very loud. I ordered a schnitzel, but it wasn't well cooked. I complained and they said they would replace the dish. After 30 minutes the same schnitzel came back, but obviously heated in the microwave. Pay close attention to the drinks you order! I ordered a beer but the bill said two. When I brought it up they acted insulted and tried to convince me that I had ordered twice. Very bad…

We were guests and decided on the “GUTE LAUNE PLATTE”. It was exactly what we love, lots of different delicacies prepared with a lot of love. A good glass of red wine and a perfectly served Veterano at the end. Nothing more is possible 🥰

My grill plate was clearly too expensive. And some of the meat that was ordered medium was grilled completely dry. The fried potatoes ordered as a side dish were swimming in fat. My wife's sirloin steak, also ordered medium, was also grilled through and tough. However, the complaint was immediately responded to with a new, good piece of meat. All in all, I have to say I've eaten better for less money.

Very good food. You get the steaks exactly how you want them and the service is very nice. However, it seems to happen every now and then (at our table and the one next to us) that the herb butter is forgotten but is included on the bill. However, that was the only thing I had to complain about. The fried potatoes with the meat are highly recommended, and you should also try the small bowls with sauces. All in all very satisfactory.

It was perfect! We received a very warm welcome and were very well advised when choosing the dishes. Steaks on point, side dishes salad etc. all freshly prepared and very tasty. The food is a dream. If they say food makes you happy then it is definitely true here.

We were there for the first and last time. My steak was cold and raw (ordered medium) and not even the herb butter melted on it. My husband's steak was overcooked and way too well done for medium, and it was also cold. I mean, if you spend €41 for 300 grams of meat, the quality has to be right, right?! The herb butter is a small and mean trap 😂 They ask every guest if they would like some butter on their steak..totally relaxed 😂 everyone happily accepts..then the surprise on the bill: €2.90 for that small spoonful of butter ..totally overpriced 🙄that's cheeky, especially when you think that the butter is a nice little gesture from the restaurant. Well... Conclusion: Maybe the chef just had a bad day, but we're not going there anymore.

This is the second time I've been here and I have to say, there's little else comparable nearby. The price is 100% worth it, the steak was served perfectly medium rare, as ordered. The service is very accommodating and really cool. Cocktails are also all at the top level. A top restaurant through and through!

The ambience was chic. It seemed inviting and friendly. Unfortunately, the first difficulties came to light. A wobbling table that could be fixed and a slight draft from the windows. But this is not quite as tragic as the service. Friendly at the beginning, arrived quickly and picked up everything and then didn't really see you at the table anymore. We were a slightly larger group and had to wait almost 1 1/2 hours for the food, which was then brought in stages or not at all. In some cases the preparation was not as desired. When the last person at the table got their food, the first people had already finished theirs. While we were still eating, people were already clearing away, which left an unpleasant feeling. The bill then listed dishes that none of us had ever ordered, let alone eaten. The food itself was delicious and the atmosphere was nice. Now the only thing that needs to be improved is the service, apart from the friendliness because that was all of them.

It's a shame, unfortunately not recommended. Fried potatoes without roasting, meat ordered medium, received well done and dry (fried to death). Waiting time for food was over 1.5 hours. Other guests who came about 45 after us received their food after a short time, which was incomprehensible to us, there were only 6 of us there, the last ones got their food where the first unfortunately did were finished.
