Excellent place to eat Argentine meat and wines in Bonn Germany, the grill is a 10 and the griller Miguel is #1

I was there for the first time yesterday. I have to say super friendly person good service too. The restaurant was super busy for a Wednesday. I think it's hard to get a spot without a reservation. The starter to the main course was super good. Price performance great for 4 people with drinks €240 was great. Great restaurant, I would love to come back.

Last night we had dinner with a few friends. The reception was nice. Food was okay, service was so-so, the lady was very nice, a younger man was rather annoyed and should perhaps roll his eyes if no one at the table noticed... what annoyed us, however, were the drink prices, here they are we were ripped off. According to the menu, the house wine was ordered in size 0.25. We received a 0.2 glass, which was slightly less than the bottom line, but we didn't say anything, but of course our attention was on the bill... The bill came and here was the wine in 0.2 but with a different price than on the menu . It was 60 cents more per glass. We pointed this out when paying, reaction: The price in the checkout applies.... I only know that saying from Ikea 🤔... So pay attention to the bill. Food: Ailoli is not homemade mayonnaise. You could taste it straight away at the table. The quality of the meat was good, the plates were rather carelessly prepared. Conclusion: A restaurant that might be worth a visit but ultimately nothing special.

It's so good that I don't want to write anything else just to get a table reserved next time ;-)

If you want to eat first-class steak, El Tarascon is the first choice in Bonn. Admittedly it's not cheap but really good quality has its price. My husband and I have been regular customers there for 20 years and have never been disappointed. First-class service included, nothing more is possible.

Great ambience, super friendly staff and top quality steaks. Not cheap, but definitely worth the price. PS: Hardly any cell phone reception and therefore undisturbed eating pleasure.

The quality of the meat has been consistently great for years. An experience.

Sitting in the basement, yet drafty and cold and with the smell of the toilet, which is separated by a curtain - well, you have to like that. Unfortunately, as an allergy sufferer, I am dependent on correct information - unfortunately that didn't work at all. The answer was quick: “Yes, yes everything is gluten-free and without milk” - in the end my gut said: not true. Too bad! Expensive food with poor service and an impossible atmosphere!

Food is delicious, but hardly worth the 25% price premium to others. Staff is slightly rude, not in line with the „premium“ offering. Atmosphere is awful, more like a pub, than a restaurant. The air quality improved, but it‘s still too crammed and too busy.

Food was good for the price range, we didn't take the buffet (it looked very poor). Service was nice, but not entirely competent, could have sold a lot more drinks. The view of the Rhine was great in the weather, we wouldn't have liked it if it was raining because the inside was a bit spartan.

In any case, the meat is good, it's clean and the service is fast. You have to like the rustic things in the cellar, but what you don't like are the side dishes. Here, for example, is the side salad, which has been put together and presented the same way for 30 years. There is no effort to move with the times and unfortunately the taste is not good either. The decoration on the plate is similar (it's better to leave it out). Unfortunately, the waiter couldn't handle criticism either. It's a shame, especially given the prices.

Very tasty steakhouse. Super fast and attentive service. The rooms are cramped but have their own charm. Although there are vegetarian options, such as side dishes and salads, it is still a steakhouse.

Unfortunately, despite being prepared on the charcoal grill, the quality of the meat didn't impress me. The side dishes didn't convince me either. The team is very friendly and well-coordinated.

Super tasty meat. Delicate and tasteful. The broccoli was also really tasty and finally a decent portion if you order vegetables. The service was also very attentive and responded to all of my questions and extra requests. Gladly again :)

Very pleasant place to eat. Friendly service, quick service. Not cheap, but the price/performance ratio is right because the meat is really first class. As random guests we felt very welcome, like we belonged.

In any case, the catering industry isn't doing badly enough. We wanted to go in there with our dog and were rudely asked to leave the restaurant. Juice shop but then cry that the restaurant is doing so badly, hopefully the shop will go bankrupt!

The food was great, I had the “grill plate” and the shrimp as a starter. I imagined something different with the beans, but the taste was ok Just a dream. Table reservation is mandatory.

We received an invitation to El Tarascon steakhouse on February 24th. All dishes are of an absolutely high standard. Starter, salad, steak and side dishes without any defects. Only the basement atmosphere and the limited space could be mentioned as a handicap. Conclusion: Simply very good.

I will add the current lunch menu. We were at a lunch special. The menu consisted of three dishes and coffee (optional ice cream). That was more than enough to fill me up. I haven't seen a similar service in Germany for a long time. Overall, keep it up! 👍

6 stars would be appropriate. Staff professional, friendly and attentive. Meat to the point, side dishes very fresh and excellently seasoned, portion size ideal for being full but not full. Reservation always necessary. Best steak restaurant in Bonn (and I know them all :-))

I visit regularly. Consistent quality (sometimes slight outliers due to the batch of meat), friendly and appropriate service. Informative boss. One should keep in mind that the service people are not the lackeys and supplicants personally hired for the evening who court the paying guest all the way to Versailles for their 40 euros. In my experience all the waitresses were at least professional. Otherwise: How to call into the forest... Update: El Tarascon has ruined all my vacation trips. Unfortunately, I now compare all steaks, no matter where they are eaten, with El Tarascon. And so far no one has come close to the meat here (when the meat and the chef are having a good day, which is the case in 80% of the cases). 8 steakhouses in Argentina and Brazil were raided; The steak at Kokoro in Kobe alone could hold a candle to this one. We came to this place based on a recommendation, to have dinner there on a Saturday we had to make a reservation since the place was full. We asked for a table at 9:00 p.m., which is already an hour late even for a Saturday. The service was very correct and friendly to help us order, they even changed our table during our stay to give us more peace of mind. The meat was really good, the cooking was good and the starter was a delicious Argentinian empanada. I would definitely go back but since they don't accept AMEX (for no reason) I don't think we'll go back.

Hello everyone, After the good reviews we decided to visit this restaurant. The restaurant, which is located in the basement, was very cold and uncomfortable for winter days. - Wrong drinks were brought to the table - The starters were ok: offering scallops on the menu with mushrooms and then serving them in a cream sauce makes my heart bleed We ordered the main courses for around €200 (with fries (extra charge)). All 3 fillet pieces were ordered medium and unfortunately arrived almost raw. These were taken back and fried again after cutting. The result is still raw on the inside and dry on the outside. For €200, no thanks. - No new cutlery after the starter. A total of 3 different waiters served us (arrogant, bold, unreasonable and damn cheeky) We decided not to have a free dessert on principle. Ultimately, as a passionate eater, I wanted to give some constructive criticism. The answer: we offered them something free. I won't indulge in such arrogance again. Once and never again.

Insanely good food, very nice staff and somehow very cozy. But all of this doesn't come for free! Don't misunderstand, every cent is well spent, but that's not something you can do every month if you're a normal person. That makes you enjoy it even more!

Delicious food, the meat quality is very, very good!!!! Furnishings are rather old school, but quite nice. Unfortunately, prices have risen significantly, probably due to Corona and inflation.

Mittagsmenüs bei El Tarascon bleiben nach wie vor unschlagbar was Preis-Leistung betrifft. Ich bin schon viele Jahre Stammgast, doch erst jetzt komme ich dazu das Restaurant zu bewerten. Ich habe bisher kein besseres Steak Restaurant in Bonn finden können. Abends kann es etwas lauter werden, da jeder Tisch in der Regel ausgelastet ist, weshalb ich es zur Mittagszeit mittlerweile bevorzuge dort zu speisen

Perfect in all aspects. 5 star food, amazing fillet steak. Perfect atmosphere and the the staff was super friendly, we had the honor to meet the owner who also cooked our food. my only complain is that it was fully booked for the next days and we wont have the chance to vissit that place again 😪😪

Es ist einfach immer wieder schön dort!

Vorspeisen wie Blutwurst oder Schnecken in Knoblauch waren sehr gut, dazu ein leckeres argentinisches Bier aus der Flasche. Die Beilagen zum Steak, wie z. B. Fritten, gedünsteter Brokkoli sind gut, aber auch nichts besonderes. Gerade beim Gemüse fehlt ein wenig der Pfiff. Aber man ist ja auch wegen des Steaks hier und das ist wirklich ausgezeichnet! Das nächste Mal nehme ich einfach nur Steak. Perfekt! Der Service ist nett und freundlich. Allerdings mussten wir bei unserem Besuch lange auf die Speisekarten warten und lange warten um die erste Getränkebestellung aufzugeben. Lange warten bis das erste Bier kam. Zwischendurch lange warten um nachzubestellen. In fast drei Stunden im Restaurant habe ich gerade einmal drei Bierchen geschafft. Zum Abschluss mussten wir lange warten bis wir bezahlen konnten, Rechnung lag schon auf dem Tisch. Haben dann vorne am Tresen bezahlt, weil keiner kam. Service war wirklich nett, aber zu selten präsent und aufmerksam.

Waren dort zum Geburtstagsessen. Immer nur von gelesen aber selber noch nicht dort gewesen. Absolute Empfehlung. Unfassbar leckeres Fleisch, super schnell und tolles Personal. Haben eigentlich nur 1 Stunde gebraucht vom hinsetzen, bis bestellen, bis essen (Vorspeise, Hauptgang, Nachspeise) gehen wir auf jeden Fall nochmal hin!

Sehr gemütlich Eingerichtet. Steaks der Spitzenklasse, Muscheln waren auch super, können wir nur empfehlen. Das Essen kam sehr schnell und kein warten auf die Rechnung, alle super nett. Top!

Bestes Entrecôte das ich bisher gegessen habe. Aber auch die Chorizo und die Schnecken sind Weltklasse.

Es war wieder richtig super. Die Steaks haben wieder total super geschmeckt. Was am Ende nicht so super gewesen ist, dass man uns ohne zu fragen, eine gemeinsame Rechnung auf den Tisch gelegt hat, obwohl wir jeder eine getrennte Rechnung haben wollten. Als wir danach gefragt haben, wurde die Bedienung pampig. Das verstehen wir nicht unter gutem Service. Für seinen Stress können wir als Kunde nichts.

Ausgezeichneter Mittagstisch. Gewiss nicht für die tägliche Mittagspause, aber hervorragend gegrilltes Fleisch, wunderbar gewürzt, selbst Brot und Vorsuppe sprechen für sich - man kann es nur empfehlen

Personal sehr freundlich, Fleisch wie immer sehr gut. Finde den Wein eigentlich zu teuer. 1/2 l Karaffe 13,50 . Leider ist der Wein in Restaurants immer zu teuer. Was aber noch teurer ist, daß Brot mit Aioli. Für drei Personen ein Körbchen Brot pro Person drei kleine Scheiben mit Dip 10,50 ( dafür bekommt man 4 Baguettestangen beim Bäcker) und 2,50 extra für ein kl. Schälchen Aioli m.E. zu teuer. Ich will mich zwar nicht mit Brot satt essen, aber das Brot ist einfach zu teuer.

Super schönes Ambiente und auch sehr netter Service! Das Steak war perfekt gebraten und sogar die Pommes haben einen sehr leckeren Eigengeschmack. Der Grillteller hat eine gute Portionsgröße und insb. Das Lamm war super! Nichts auszusetzen. Man sollte allerdings min. 2 Wochen im Vorraus reservieren...

Vorab, keine Fotos, weil dies das Ambiente gestört hätte und von außen gibt es zur genüge. Den Sternen nach, könnt ihr Euch sicher sein, daß Filets hier auch das Aushängeschild ist, alle Beilagen waren super frisch und lecker. Der Service zuvorkommend, aber nicht aufdringlich, wir hatten einen perfekten Abend, vielen Dank 👋🏼

Essen und Service sind Weltklasse. Aber das Ambiente ne Katastrophe. Man denkt, man ist in einem Luftschutzbunker.... Und es ist ein Tick zu teuer. Aber trotzdem 5 Sterne....

Wer im El Tarascon speisen möchte, muss rechtzeitig reservieren. Selbst in der Woche ist es hier immer voll. Kein Wunder - das El Tarascon ist DAS Steakhaus schlechthin. Super Fleisch, top gegrillt. Klasse Beilagen - auch wer gerade auf Diät ist, kommt hier mit Fleisch und Gemüse voll auf seine Kosten. Leider schlägt sich dies alles auch auf den Preis nieder. Dies ist kein €€-€€€ sondern ein €€€€ Restaurant (50€/Person sollte man schon einplanen)

Haben dort einen super Abend gehabt. Essen einfach himmlisch. Hier sticht ganz klar die exzellente Fleischqualität und der Super Service heraus. Waren nicht das letzte mal hier!

Steak was cooked perfectly, and the accoutrements were top-notch as well. Glass of Malbec wine was complex and rich, pairing perfectly with the steak. Wonderful bar and open grill really added to the cozy vibe. A bit cramped with no outdoor seating. It's a basement with winding staircases, so low-mobility diners should look elsewhere. Service was attentive and friendly. English menu was available. Reservation recommended, as the place was mostly full at 19:30. Gazpacho was fairly priced, but wine glass and the steak dinner were a bit expensive. Worth it for a splurge meal. Highly recommend this steakhouse! Take a walk around the gorgeous Bonn Botanical Garden to work up an appetite. Bus stop to Bonn HBF is right across the street.

Realmente muy bueno, la carne muy sabrosa, lo mismo las guarniciones, el personal extraordinariamente amable y preocupado en todo momento, siempre con una sonrisa. El ambiente muy bueno, la decoración y la música latina le da un toque muy especial. Recomendable 100%. Sin duda volveremos.

Preislich auf jeden Fall gehoben, geschmacklich ganz in Ordnung. Hatte das Bife a la Pimienta und dazu die Papa asoda con adobo. Die gewünschte Garstufe des Steaks wurde nicht erreicht, die Folienkartoffel war im „Kern“ noch roh. War insgesamt etwas enttäuscht vom Besuch. Zum Ambiente; Sehr eng und relativ laut. Zusätzlich kein Handy Empfang. Service: Sehr freundlich und schnell. Obwohl es sehr voll war saßen wir nie lange auf dem Trockenen. ;)

One of the best steaks I have eaten. The other Vorspeise were very good as well. Service was really obliging. There are parking lots down on the Karlrobert-Kreiten street. We will definitely visit El Tarascon again.

Es gibt keine besseren Steaks - einfach perfekt. Dazu noch supernetter Service mit faszinierendem Gedächtnis - ein wirklich gelungener Abend. Auch im Juni 2023 wieder perfekt. Die Betrachtung der wenigen negativen Rezensionen erlaubt nur ein Fazit: wenn Ihr Zuhause so toll grillen könnt, Euer Weinkeller so perfekt und günstig ist, Euer Partner die/der perfekte Gastgeber/Kellner/Koch/Alleinunterhalter usw. ist, warum geht Ihr dann in ein Restaurant?

Immer noch eines der besten Steak Restaurants die es gibt.
