Colleagues call us very nice and it tasted so good that we went there twice in one day (good eyesight recognized us as his best friends)
PS: stay as you are and we'll be back soon, colleague
The ambience is, as it has been since the renovation a few years ago, very appealing. High-quality furniture and a great overall concept.
The Schorte's new food concept is no longer geared towards almost exclusively Italian dishes. There are seasonal dishes with asparagus, individual dishes with an Italian background and German dishes. The previously outstanding Pizza Napoletana is no longer available, which is very sad.
The food today was okay (although quite expensive), but nothing more. Both wild garlic soup and pasta with wild garlic pesto were quite bitter, but that's a matter of taste.
Unfortunately, after we ordered, we saw other dishes at all the other tables that were not listed on the regular menu. Guests after us were presented with a day menu. Not to us, but obviously to the guests in front of us, because there is no other way to explain the other dishes. But since we had already ordered, there was nothing that could be changed. For dessert, all tables were offered a dessert that was not listed on the menu, except us.
The service itself was extremely friendly and attentive when it came to the food served.
This makes the behavior all the more surprising that we were apparently the only table not to find out about the daily menu. What else should you answer to the final question about whether everything was okay?! After everything was too late, any complaint would no longer have been of any use.
The fact that the menu has changed is purely a matter of taste and is certainly more appealing to others than the previous Italian focus. For me personally, it's a reason not to be a guest again anytime soon, because I've always enjoyed coming here regularly because of the excellent pizza.
Waited 2 hours. Food was cold but burnt... or rather overly crispy... couldn't get out of the box. Everything used to be ok. That was disappointing today
By far the best pizza in the area and ever. The dough is absolutely fluffy and completely dry - simply brilliant.
Despite the full house, the service was very friendly and the food and drinks came quickly. We have nothing to complain about.
Cozy country inn with good Dingsleben beer!
Food is OK, nothing special.
The service comes across as a bit cold and basically doesn't serve anyone on the terrace.
Reservation recommended as it's not big inside.
A weekend in Ilmenau, and we ended up at the Pasta Lounge. Even though the chef isn't Italian, many Italian restaurants could learn a thing or two from this. Delicious food, a great atmosphere, and very friendly service. We'd gladly go back.
Today was “Tuesday” shortly before 6 p.m. and I decided to go Greek. I found this on Google.
I was totally surprised, the restaurant was already half full, but I still got a very good seat. Very friendly welcome and all the service staff were very friendly and always very accommodating. The first beer and the ouzo were served very quickly. This meant I could quickly decide to place an order.
First there was grilled pepperoni and then the Irodion Mix plate. The portion was very sufficient and tasted very good. I was very impressed and will definitely come back.
Beautifully located, overlooking the dam. The food is great, and all Bud Spencer and Terence Hill fans will find something to enjoy here. Prepare to be surprised.
Price performance, very good. Driver on Sun, d. 03/23 after 8 p.m. super nice. Delivery faster than stated. Don't take it negatively, but take it as a hint: cut the pizza all the way to the edge. Doner box a little bit bigger for the price, if it is possible to adjust the calculation or price/quantity (65% doner box for a normal person for 7€ is too little). Adjust quantity or price. Otherwise, it's very good what you're doing. 5*
