The two of us were at Masala. I love Indian food and had been hoping for years to get Indian food in Elmshorn at some point. I was surprised that the masala has been around for two years... Especially after eating it. It was really awesome, very good hot food in different levels of spiciness, great naan bread and dips, so really awesome... I'm really annoyed that I didn't discover it earlier. We were all alone on a Wednesday evening, it may be because of the pre-Christmas period, but more people definitely need to come and enjoy the food here. I recommend medium-spicy lamb or chicken korma, with naan. Just crazy! And the price is really very attractive. Full recommendation, I will eat here regularly, but delivery in Elmshorn is also possible. Go there!!!

In summer you can also sit outside on the quiet street. The food is plentiful and always tastes very good. We always like to come back.

We were guests at the New Year's Eve party 2024/2025. The tickets could be purchased for €60.00. The price included entry, DJ, drinks [until 2 a.m.], fireworks, 1 glass of sparkling wine and Berliner. Entry was from 9:00 p.m. Shortly after the start, DJ Timo's opening act was able to attract the first ladies to the dance floor. Shortly afterwards, the dance floor was officially opened by the DJ, who was able to impress with his professional selection of music throughout the evening, and the dance floor was well attended at all times. The service was conciliatory, pleasantly friendly, attentive and helpful, so that the drinks could be served without any long waiting times. The champagne glasses were filled in time for the New Year so that the New Year could be traditionally welcomed with a glass of champagne 🥂. The fireworks were well prepared and worth seeing. Conclusion: The Kantino is following in the footsteps of the formerly large Elmshorn New Year's Eve party events, but can certainly keep up on a smaller scale. We were there with 6 people. I ordered an Argentinian steak which only came about 10 minutes later than the food of the other 5 people. In short, when my companions had almost finished eating, I got the steak, which was covered in a mountain of mushy onions. The menu said that this meal would be served with onions, but that's not how it works. To make matters worse, the meat was cut diagonally, meaning the thin side of the steak was more than cooked through and the thick side of the steak was almost raw. To top it all off, the beer I ordered only came when I asked and not with the meal. So this restaurant definitely won't see me again

Very nice restaurant. Within walking distance, barrier-free. Didn't ask for toilet. Service was very nice, food was very tasty. You can go there again. Only had 1x water and 1x coffee. Was ok. Price/performance is good.

On Christmas Day we went to the Dorfkrug to eat goose as well as 2 dishes from the menu and children's dishes. We were 6 adults and 2 children. I was more than pleasantly surprised at how much we all enjoyed the food. The operation and service were very attentive and polite/friendly. The children were allowed to choose a few snacks and were treated very nicely by the staff. The large parking lot is also a good argument for non-residents to take a seat without stress. When it comes to home-style cooking, it is by far the best restaurant in Elmshorn. We would love to come back and try the lunch menu if it is offered.

Have been here several times now and have also ordered a lot to take away. Nice location, right in the indoor stand with lots of tables. Staff is friendly and helpful when they find time. The prices are absolutely fair, the quality is also good. The sushi was also very tasty!

Simply very tasty, very friendly welcome and cozy too... It just fits! Parking is in front of the house, free of charge. And there is also a charging station. I recommend this kitchen. Thank you!
