I was passing through and had dinner there alone. I liked that. The atmosphere is cozy and the service was very friendly and really quick.

Absolutely fantastic experience. The steak was cooked to perfection - tender, flavorful and perfectly seared. The drinks were equally impressive; hurricane was smooth, balanced and beautifully crafted. The service was excellent - friendly, attentive and knew the menu inside out. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, which made the whole evening special. From start to finish everything was on point. By far one of the best meals I've had. Highly recommended!

If you want to eat well in a beautiful garden ambience even in winter, you can't ignore the Glas House. We were there once in the evening in January and once in March for brunch. The food is very good and plentiful. I particularly liked the waffle station at brunch, where guests could prepare a fresh waffle for themselves. My brother had these and said they were very tasty, unfortunately I was already so full that I had to pass. Why I had to deduct 2 stars for service. Well, it wasn't the waitress in the restaurant who was really attentive and responded to special requests. On the one hand, it's due to the parking situation, the parking lot is too small for the size of the restaurant, which you notice when you come for brunch on Sundays and it's really busy. And on the other hand, four days before brunch, a Mirart worker called my father to confirm the appointment again (so far, OK). But during the conversation, another guest called on the other line to make a reservation, and instead of just answering the call and briefly putting the guest off, she made the reservation, my father heard the date, time, names and number of people. Sorry, that doesn't work. There is nothing wrong with accepting the conversation briefly and putting the guest off, but the conversation that has already been held must first be ended.

We went to the buffet for dinner, which was really great, there was something delicious for everyone. Unfortunately, points are deducted for the service because we sometimes had to wait a long time for drinks. And we had registered for 10 people, but then there were only nine of us. Yes, I can understand that you have to pay for one person, but the fact that it is only mentioned when paying is not very customer-friendly. It would be nice if it was mentioned on the homepage or at least when booking!

Went for Sunday brunch with 9 people. The range of food on offer was very good and tasty. The service was also very good. Still, I had to deduct a star. The reservation was for 10 people, unfortunately there were only 9 of us due to illness. We still had to pay for 10, we were told that's what we were told which unfortunately wasn't true. Unfortunately, this was not stated in the reservation confirmation email.

Very nice staff and great service. Also with a cute robot if desired. The food is always delicious and the lava cake for dessert is a real highlight. Gladly again!

Recommended. Six of us ate there. All menus were rich, well prepared and tasty. I had roast beef with fried potatoes and can recommend this. Prices for the food are reasonable, but the drinks prices are outrageous and when you look at the drinks menu you think it's a "rip-off". A non-alcoholic wheat costs €6.30!!!!!!! Something like that doesn't work at all. People used to drink two beers or more, but today it's just one. Too bad Very friendly and courteous staff.

Very nice stylish restaurant where you can have a great brunch. The staff is very friendly and always on point. We were there for brunch and the selection of dishes is good, from fish, meat, cold cuts and salads to antipasti, everything is there and tastes really good.

We were here for lunch on January 26th, 2025. I can only recommend it! Nice staff, good food, nice atmosphere! As a group, we ordered everything from the menu and everyone was very satisfied. 5 out of 5! Please keep it up!

Have been eating there for years. Everything perfect! The bread and the amount of sauce are great. Price performance absolutely unbeatable. Friends from far away don't miss it when they visit here. That says a lot about the store.

New again... Had dinner with the family on New Year's Eve. There was a holiday menu, which is of course reduced. But I have full understanding. The room was decorated for New Year's Eve and was well attended. Still very good staff. The taste of the dishes we ordered was completely ok (except for the ready-made hollandaise) and plentiful. Will come back. New visit in July 23... We were there with several people. The service was very nice and attentive. Very good 👍 The food was very tasty for most people. I was surprised by the burgers. They definitely learned there. My lumberjack burger with extra cheese, bacon and jalapenos tasted very close to perfect. I just didn't like the long cucumber. I'm more of a fan of American pickled round cucumber slices. But that's whining at a high level. There were also fried potatoes. The taste was closer to convenience and the onions could have been in the pan longer. The other burgers were also good (unfortunately I didn't like the nachos). Roast beef with fried potatoes was good. But again the taste and the onions... The Wiener-style schnitzel also looked like ready-made schnitzel to me. The breading tasted the same too. The atmosphere is cozy, but also quite loud due to the glass house. I'd love to come back... Old report Very nice service. Food was ok, broccoli was on point, the steak was slightly overcooked. The grilled feta beforehand was very tasty. I don't think the burgers are that great. The taste was boring and the patty was almost a meatball.

It's understandable that the Christmas menu is slimmed down, but I found the selection too limited. The avocado burger with fries was very tasty, but it wasn't enough for the price. No salad beforehand, which is a shame. Service was great. I expected more for the prices. That Schnitzel was really carelessly prepared.

The service has deteriorated significantly compared to before. Even though we had registered for a birthday party, they couldn't find our reservation and there was a lot of hectic activity to accommodate us. Despite the almost empty restaurant, all guests were seated as close to each other as possible. The prices have been raised significantly without the portions being at least the same size as previous visits. Unfortunately, there wasn't even a small gift for children on their birthdays. It's a shame but this was our last visit to the GlasHouse.

Service not wow, but okay, ambience too, but the food was really bad! There were four of us and every dish was not freshly made. The schnitzels, the wedges, sauces or, worst of all, the fried potatoes that weren't properly fried (without bacon and onions, by the way) - everything was prefabricated industrial goods! And €20.90 for a rustic schnitzel with almost raw onions and cold, limp champions. For dessert we ordered apple strudel and asked several times if it included raisins. This was denied, even when asked in the kitchen. Not only was our dessert forgotten - we asked for it several times - but of course there were raisins in it. We had it returned and also expressed our criticism on site. The first and last time we were there.

Everything was right for me, even quiet dogs were allowed ;)

We were there with a birthday group of 16 people. We were looked after very much. You felt welcome. There was even a surprise. Food was very good. Everyone was really happy. We will definitely try it again on a smaller scale. But a clear recommendation to go there.

Very friendly, the burgers are very tasty and the prices are right. Goulash soup was outstanding... very attentive service brought water for the dog without asking 🐕... all in all a very well-rounded affair... comfortable for everyone...

Update 2024: Unfortunately, I have the impression that more and more people are cutting back on food: the portions are getting smaller, the ingredients are being saved, and at the same time the prices are getting higher and higher over the years. That no longer suits me, so unfortunately only 3 stars in 2024, what a shame!

I really enjoy going to the Glas House Elmshorn. The conditions are friendly and engaging. The ambience is very cozy thanks to the real trees, both inside and outside, and I can only say positive things about the food. I especially find the burgers very tasty.

The service is super excellent. Someone was always asking if we wanted anything else. The food came at the same time and you didn't have to wait too long for it. Even though we all ordered different food.

So I can only recommend it. Service and food excellent. Will come back soon.

We were lured by the unique ambience and have to say that the hospitality does 100% justice. The waiters were friendly, attentive and went out of their way to help with any special requests. We celebrated my mother's birthday and were surprised by the singing robot - an absolute highlight! The menu had something for everyone and the food tasted super fresh and delicious (I always prefer the seasonal recommendation menu). All in all, it was our first visit, but definitely not our last. :)
