A nice restaurant with a cozy atmosphere and very friendly service. Unfortunately, the food didn't quite live up to our expectations: The pizza: The pizza dough was definitely not homemade...and therefore didn't taste particularly fresh or good. It was hard and difficult to cut: seemingly a blank, sparsely topped pizza. The "Bruschetta Opposti" we ordered consisted of three (really!) tiny slices of (hard and almost burnt) bread topped with a tiny bit of mozzarella, a few herbs, and a drizzle of balsamic vinegar. We couldn't find any tomatoes at all. The drinks were okay: the price-performance ratio was good. The proximity to the cinema, the friendly service, and the ambiance were all appealing; the food, unfortunately, wasn't. Perhaps next time we visit.

Opposti offers delicious food at reasonable prices. They currently have tasty kale. We also enjoy their pizza, pasta, and burgers.

We visited twice. The first time was because we'd had very good experiences at Opposti in Hamburg. The second time was because we thought the first visit might have just been an off day. First visit: The macaroni and cheese was bad. When we pointed this out, the server tried to tell us it was a different type of cheese, without either she or the chef having tasted it. Second visit: The macaroni and cheese on our burger tasted as usual this time. However, the food was cold, and it seemed, at least with the salad and pizzas, that the kitchen was just grabbing things from the fridge and reheating them if necessary. When we mentioned this, they again offered vague explanations instead of simply accepting our criticism. This was our last visit to Opposti in Elmshorn.

Everything was very good, we will come again.

We really like the restaurant. It has a modern decor, and the staff is very friendly. The culinary selection is another plus. The only drawback is that the food wasn't particularly seasoned, but it was very nicely presented.

That's okay, I'd like to visit again next week.

The atmosphere was great. A bit loud with several groups present. I usually think I'm pretty silly. The food was good, perhaps the avocado burger deserved a bit more flavor. The avocado was already dark green. The service was friendly, but not forward-looking. What might be considered overly intrusive in other restaurants is missing here: "Would you like anything else?" or "Can we do anything else for you?" So, almost 60 minutes without being spoken to, and I even asked for payment. I wish it were different.

My chanterelle mushrooms weren't clean; I was just chewing on sand. Some of the salad was moldy. The sirloin steak and chicken were overcooked. Then we had to pay for the food we didn't eat. We won't be eating there again. Unfortunately, I don't recommend it.

Unfortunately, the service was very unmotivated. There were no questions asked, so you couldn't enjoy the pleasant atmosphere. The food, in this case the pasta, was very bland and simply lacked flavor. It's a shame, because the presentation was quite good.

I appreciate the atmosphere and service at Opposti (in Pinneberg), but our last visit to Opposti Elmshorn was unfortunately disappointing. The service was minimal—someone only came to our table twice, which left a feeling of neglect. Even more disappointing was the food itself. The carpaccio was almost inedible due to the amount of arugula, which wasn't even properly washed and tasted gritty. The bruschetta and pasta were unfortunately bland and completely unseasoned. The pizza and sodas, however, were excellent. Overall, our visit left a dissatisfied impression, which doesn't exactly make us want to return. We sincerely hope that Opposti will take this criticism as an incentive to reconsider and improve their quality and service.

After our civil wedding, we dined at Opposti with family and friends, and we were absolutely thrilled! The preparation, the service, the food—everything was absolutely perfect! All of our guests were incredibly happy, and we highly recommend Opposti!

Snack food, nothing more. The cordon bleu was subpar. The potatoes were dripping in fat, like they'd just come out of a deep fryer. They don't offer mineral water, but sell treated tap water at mineral water prices and call it Pinneberg water. That's truly abysmal. Then they should at least offer decent mineral water as an alternative for people who don't want to drink tap water, and sell the tap water at a correspondingly low price.

The service was excellent, but that was the only good thing about the evening. The pizza tasted like it was made of plastic, with almost no flavor, and it was hard to eat. The burgers were cold when they arrived at the table and had a mediocre flavor. The price of the food was extremely overpriced. €40 for a burger + fries + a drink is simply too much for this kind of food. The fries were good, though, and they were the only thing anyone ate. :)

I was there for the first time and had antipasti. Since it was a starter, I had pizza bread with it. Everything was really delicious. The side salad is particularly worth mentioning. Not your run-of-the-mill option like everywhere else, but really excellent.

Unfortunately, we were not at all satisfied with our visit. It was our first time there and we left disappointed. The burgers and schnitzel were delicious. The pasta dish was simply tasteless; it tasted of water and dill. We returned the food and, after asking if we wanted something else, asked for bruschetta. Unfortunately, it tasted very sour and was served on a much too large pile of arugula. We also had to return an Ipanema drink due to a fruit fly (which can happen), but unfortunately, I had to wait too long for a replacement and reminded them that I would get another drink (they forgot). Finally, the bill. We had to pay in full for the returned food – although it was returned almost untouched. I would have expected at least half price. A shame and not very appealing. This was our first and last visit.

It was our first time at Opposti and we were really impressed. Stylish furnishings and great ambience. The selection of food and drinks is great. We were very satisfied and would like to come back.

Great staff and wonderful food, would say one of the best in Elmshorn and we are regulars. Lots of seats and many options of kids. Has its own kids menu too.

Ich war mit meiner Frau und meinem Sohn da. Als mir reinkamen, kam die unsympathische Dame uns entgegen direkt mit (geht da hinten). Kein Hallo, kein Lächeln und nach 20 min kam dann die andere kleine Dame als Kellnerin endlich und wir durften erst bestellen. Bestellung aufgenommen und kam anstatt Spaghetti für meinem Sohn, Nudeln, anstatt apfelschorle apfel saft. Ich habe nichts gesagt. Als ich die Kellnerin nett gefragt habe, ob ich einen Feedback zum Essen geben soll, dass da so gut wie garkein Salz drin war, meinte sie zickig ja deswegen steht auch Salz extra auf dem Tisch und ich meinte achso ok da haben sie Recht..xd dann erwähnte ich, dass mein Sohns Teller noch komplett voll ist da wir für ihn Spaghetti bestellt haben und wir haben extra gesagt ausser Spaghetti isst er nichts, haben wir aber nudeln bekommen da hat sie nicht mal Entschuldigung oder irgendwas gesagt und das mit dem Getränk habe ich garnicht mehr erwähnt. Der Laden an sich ist aber nett dekoriert allerdings war ich früher hier mal gerne öfters, da einen netten service den Großteil der Gastronomie ausmacht, verabschieden wir uns erstmal von diesem Laden.

I ate here several months to a year ago. It was very tasty. If I'm not mistaken, the menu has changed or been reduced. The restaurant is very large but always very quiet and not crowded. Last time, the SmashBurger was very tasty; the price was €11. You have to order the side dish separately, so the price is average compared to other restaurants, and it was tasty. What wasn't so tasty, unfortunately, was the pasta with cheese sauce—I think it was Gorgonzola? No flavor :(

Overall, it was good, but I wasn't as satisfied with my meal this time as usual. Unfortunately, the schnitzel was very, very dry.

Worst steak I've ever eaten. I ordered a medium steak, and the steak came in two pieces, cooked through, and tough. The steak was returned, and a new one arrived, this time raw and still cold inside. A third time, I wasn't brought a new steak. The waitress said the kitchen couldn't do better, and the steak would be off the menu soon. I still had to pay full price.

The staff was very assertive, but the friendliness was lacking. We found the €3.50 price for a 0.2-liter Spezi, just a small glass, very expensive. The food: penne specialties and burgers; you had to order fries separately. We wouldn't go back.

Unfortunately, I have to fundamentally revise my review from last year. The food quality is getting increasingly poor, the ingredients seem to come from a discount store, and the portions aren't getting any bigger. On the other hand, prices are rising, and the service overall is deteriorating. It's a shame I had to write these lines, but maybe it's good for something. --------------------------------------- OPPOSTI is certainly one of the better alternatives in Elmshorn for dining out. Many others seem to know this, too, because the restaurant was once again packed this Saturday, and the noise level was correspondingly loud. In my opinion, the seating is stretched to the limit, and I wouldn't call it ambiance or even a special atmosphere. The service is prompt, friendly, and very attentive, which shouldn't be misunderstood at this point. But I've already mentioned that too many tables with too many guests can sometimes lead to waiting times. The culinary offerings are okay if you know what you're getting into. The quality of the food is very decent, and the prices are just about acceptable. For €70 including tip, two people got a plate of antipasti, a tagliolini with strips of beef fillet, a bowl of spaghetti alla Bolognese, and three small beers. All in all, it was a decent experience – a repeat is not out of the question.
