A very nice Greek restaurant. The food is very good, the prices are affordable. Friendly staff, but you should book a table in advance at the weekend as it was very full on the Saturday we wanted to eat there. The restaurant is highly recommended.

The Alster water is wonderfully refreshing and tasty. What could be nicer than to be pampered in such a warm and courteous manner on such a dreary November day. Since we took some of the large portions home with us, we can reminisce about these beautiful memories tomorrow. 😉

We just love going to Samos Restaurant with our family! The food is delicious, the atmosphere is really cozy, and the staff is extremely friendly with a warm smile. And the best thing is that this service is offered continuously! We've been there so many times and the quality has always been top. The restaurant is also very child-friendly. No matter whether it's gyros or a pasta dish, everything just tastes good 👌🏻. The menu is large and everyone will find something suitable for themselves. The aquarium in the middle is a highlight for the children (and also for adults) and shortens the waiting time. It's often very busy (which is a good sign), so it's advisable to reserve in advance. Reservations online or by phone are quick and easy. Simply top, top, top!

For my adult children and I, this Greek place is the discovery of the year and our new favorite restaurant! A beautiful, well-kept atmosphere, very friendly service, and the food is simply a dream, extremely tasty and, above all, authentic.

Yesterday I was back in the restaurant after 30 years and it was like before. The ambience had of course been renewed but was very nice and cozy with pleasant acoustics, so you can have a good conversation. My parents (89 and 90) were also very enthusiastic about this beautiful restaurant and the atmosphere. The trip into the past was very worthwhile and we can and will come back more often now. Even without a reservation, we got a place straight away, even though a lot of places were already taken. The service is super friendly and the atmosphere invites you to relax and enjoy. The food was also very good. The journey from Frankfurt was worth it 👍

Very friendly service, 5 stars for that. However, for me the food was “only” good and not very good. In addition, compared to other Greeks and in relation to the price, the portions are rather small. Therefore there are 4 stars overall.

Because the food is fresh & really good. What is on the menu will be served to you. With a very short waiting time & a lot of love. Even if, as is often the case, it is full. My family and I spent a very nice evening in Samos today as a group of three. The food was very tasty and the service was excellent. The cozy and tasteful ambience also contributed to making you feel very comfortable here. If you are looking for a restaurant where no wish is left unfulfilled, the Samos Restaurant is definitely the right choice. Thank you very much for the lovely evening and the service, although it should be mentioned that we were looked after in a very friendly and warm manner by a young man right from the start. A very special thank you goes out to him.

Guys, if you want to eat really, really delicious Greek food, then don't go to Hamburg, go to Elmshorn🥰. We spontaneously stayed overnight here on the way to SPO and were looking for a good restaurant. At first everything was fully booked but after a short 20 minute wait we got a great table. We had tarama, tzaziki, beetroot carpaccio and gyros with Metaxa sauce and French fries. Everything was so incredibly delicious. No lie, we rolled out of there 😂. The waitresses were all so friendly, it was a great cinema. We'll definitely stop by again on the way back.

Very nice and cozy restaurant with friendly hosts and delicious food. A reservation is definitely advisable, at least in winter when the terrace is closed and it gets cozy in the guest room ;-) The portions are well sized and the dishes are always very good. There is also a parking space in front of the door. We really enjoy coming here!

With a friend I had the opportunity to go to Samos again after a long time. All I can say is that it was really great and the food tasted incredibly good, BUT I was hungry, which always worked perfectly at Samos. The portions have definitely become smaller, a good deal smaller. That's a shame, of course, but in some ways understandable. Either the price becomes more expensive or the portions are reduced. It was still a great evening and we will come back.

I had souvlaki skewers with cheese gratinated in Metaxa sauce: simply fabulous. Since I cook a lot, I know how difficult it is to get gratinated food to the point where it is still tender and pink on the inside. The chef at Samos did this masterfully, tender, pink, it melted in your mouth. And the Metaxa sauce, simply yummy!!! Three thumbs up!!! I can recommend the dish and the restaurant to everyone!! The service too, just nice!!

We had dinner at Samos with a large group at the weekend. Otherwise I prefer the Greeks in the district administration. First of all, the service and the staff are top notch. Unfortunately, this restaurant is far too small for the size of the guests, so it is cramped and noisy. The food is of course the most important thing in the restaurant. Unfortunately, the relatively high price does not reflect the quality and, above all, the portion size. It was tasty, but it wasn't anything out of the ordinary and unfortunately for the first time in my life I DIDN'T feel full eating Greek food. In fact, the gyros were too finely cut for me personally. I had gyros with baby calamari and fries. I'll stick with my regular Greek!!
