Were here for the first time and were very positively surprised. Very nice atmosphere, large selection of food and drinks for a good price. Despite the long wait, the food was very, very tasty and worth the wait!

The Samos restaurant can clearly stand out from the 5,000 other run-of-the-mill Greeks. Even if it doesn't seem like it at first, the food is really fantastic. The reviews speak for themselves

So the food / service / ambience deserves a full 5 stars ⭐️ we had the baked feta with honey as a starter and garlic bread just to eat, you are rarely so positively surprised. The quality is just right here and we will be happy to come back.

We are rarely pleasantly surprised when we go out to eat. OK, my wife also cooks really well 😁 But, if you're planning on going out for a Greek meal, with the possibility of authentic Greek food of the quality you want when you're planning on going out for a meal, then you've come to the right place. Very nice staff and also a family business. Nicely decorated and very clean. And nothing negative was noticed, not even long after the fact. We'll definitely be back. Here it quickly becomes plausible how an average of 4.9 stars comes about.

As a guest you will not be disappointed here. The restaurant's good reputation is justified; The dishes are prepared very well and as a guest you feel completely pampered.

Today we spontaneously went to Samos again for dinner and was lucky to get a table without a reservation. Everyone is super nice and accommodating. And the food was a dream, my husband still raves about the liver. We'll be back, even if it's over three hundred kilometers. Keep it up!!

We made a reservation with friends for 4 people - even at short notice without any problems! The shared starter plate, actually for 1-2 people, was totally sufficient even for four! Portion sizes also large enough. Everyone gets fed up here. The service staff is nice. However, when the house is full, it can take a while to get noticed. On the other hand, you are also asked regularly - but not intrusively - whether everything is okay. The only drawback are the somewhat hard benches. Samos is definitely worth a visit! An all-round successful evening. We are happy to have such a good Greek restaurant in Elmshorn.

As long-time guests who had taken a break, we have now been very positively surprised. The food had always been good, but here Samos was able to improve a bit. Now there is also a warm welcome and very friendly and attentive service. We felt like welcome guests and that is priceless. We will come back more often now.

We had dinner at Samos on a Saturday with 4+2 (10M) people after a short-term reservation the day before. We had a great table in the corner away from the hustle and bustle - ideal for the children. For them there were chairs and children's cutlery without asking. The food was very tasty. We had the starter platter for two people and three main courses. The quantities for this were absolutely sufficient. What was particularly noteworthy was the great service. Everyone who interacted with us was authentically friendly and attentive. We'll be back!

We just love going to Samos Restaurant with our family! The food is delicious, the atmosphere is really cozy, and the staff is extremely friendly with a warm smile. And the best thing is that this service is offered continuously! We've been there so many times and the quality has always been top. The restaurant is also very child-friendly. No matter whether it's gyros or a pasta dish, everything just tastes good 👌🏻. The menu is large and everyone will find something suitable for themselves. The aquarium in the middle is a highlight for the children (and also for adults) and shortens the waiting time. It's often very busy (which is a good sign), so it's advisable to reserve in advance. Reservations online or by phone are quick and easy. Simply top, top, top!

We ended the evening with a cocktail. The bill was absolutely reasonable. We will certainly spend a lovely evening here again in the foreseeable future. The Alster water is wonderfully refreshing and tasty. What could be nicer than to be pampered in such a warm and courteous manner on such a dreary November day. For my adult children and I, this Greek place is the discovery of the year and our new favorite restaurant! A beautiful, well-kept atmosphere, very friendly service, and the food is simply a dream, extremely tasty and, above all, authentic.

Even without a reservation, we got a place straight away, even though a lot of places were already taken. The service is super friendly and the atmosphere invites you to relax and enjoy. The food was also very good. The journey from Frankfurt was worth it 👍

Yesterday I was back in the restaurant after 30 years and it was like before. The ambience had of course been renewed but was very nice and cozy with pleasant acoustics, so you can have a good conversation. My parents (89 and 90) were also very enthusiastic about this beautiful restaurant and the atmosphere. The trip into the past was very worthwhile and we can and will come back more often now. Very friendly service, 5 stars for that. However, for me the food was “only” good and not very good. In addition, compared to other Greeks and in relation to the price, the portions are rather small. Therefore there are 4 stars overall.
