Restaurant Samos in Elmshorn

A popular restaurant for decades, located in the immediate vicinity of the old racetrack. It offers an extensive menu with a small children's section. Unfortunately, the poor acoustics mean it can be quite noisy when the restaurant is busy.

It certainly wasn't the last time I had a delicious meal here :-)

This was our first time here. We were quite satisfied. The food was good and so were the cocktails. The price was just about OK. However, we would have liked a bit more attention from the waiters. They were all super nice and friendly. On top of that, the place was very busy. We would have bought an ouzo to pass the time, as we usually do at Greek restaurants. The aisles are also very narrow. Overall, it was tasty and good. The food was excellent.

Unfortunately, this Greek doesn't do justice to the reviews. I had very classic gyros with fries. Gyros 7/10, fries 5/10 not eaten, salad 4/10 little dressing and only mediocre and there wasn't even a pepperoni in the salad, bread 3/10 just boring. The restaurant itself is uncomfortable. There is no typical atmosphere here that you are used to in a Greek restaurant.

When ordering, the calamari was forgotten and the baked potato was not good. After the review, we contacted you straight away and the mistake was made up for with a voucher. Respect for that, I was a little hasty.

Here everyone is welcomed like an old friend, there is always a recommendation for the best dish 🍽️ and a few kind words. The warmth is evident in every detail - from the quick service ⚡ to the generous portions 🍷, as if you were in a Greek house where you were already expected.

Es braucht nicht vieler Worte: - freundliches Personal, - schönes Ambiente, - hervorragende Sauberkeit Und natürlich total leckeres Essen! Alles frisch zubereitet und appetitlich auf den Tellern angerichtet. Das alles zu einem fairen Preis! 5 Punkte von uns! Es gibt nichts zu beanstanden. Wer hier das Haar in der Suppe sucht, dem ist nicht zu helfen. Wir können das SOMAS uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen!

OK, my wife also cooks really well 😁 But, if you're planning on going out for a Greek meal, with the possibility of authentic Greek food of the quality you want when you're planning on going out for a meal, then you've come to the right place. Very nice staff and also a family business. Nicely decorated and very clean. And nothing negative was noticed, not even long after the fact. We'll definitely be back. Here it quickly becomes plausible how an average of 4.9 stars comes about.

Today we spontaneously went to Samos again for dinner and was lucky to get a table without a reservation. Everyone is super nice and accommodating. And the food was a dream, my husband still raves about the liver. We'll be back, even if it's over three hundred kilometers. Keep it up!!

We made a reservation with friends for 4 people - even at short notice without any problems! The shared starter plate, actually for 1-2 people, was totally sufficient even for four! Portion sizes also large enough. Everyone gets fed up here. The service staff is nice. However, when the house is full, it can take a while to get noticed. On the other hand, you are also asked regularly - but not intrusively - whether everything is okay. The only drawback are the somewhat hard benches. Samos is definitely worth a visit! An all-round successful evening. We are happy to have such a good Greek restaurant in Elmshorn.

We had dinner at Samos on a Saturday with 4+2 (10M) people after a short-term reservation the day before. We had a great table in the corner away from the hustle and bustle - ideal for the children. For them there were chairs and children's cutlery without asking. The food was very tasty. We had the starter platter for two people and three main courses. The quantities for this were absolutely sufficient. What was particularly noteworthy was the great service. Everyone who interacted with us was authentically friendly and attentive. We'll be back!

We just love going to Samos Restaurant with our family! The food is delicious, the atmosphere is really cozy, and the staff is extremely friendly with a warm smile. And the best thing is that this service is offered continuously! We've been there so many times and the quality has always been top. The restaurant is also very child-friendly. No matter whether it's gyros or a pasta dish, everything just tastes good 👌🏻. The menu is large and everyone will find something suitable for themselves. The aquarium in the middle is a highlight for the children (and also for adults) and shortens the waiting time. It's often very busy (which is a good sign), so it's advisable to reserve in advance. Reservations online or by phone are quick and easy. Simply top, top, top!
