Super fast and very friendly service and mega delicious food of very good quality. There is also a large selection of dishes for vegetarians and vegans. We'd love to come back. It's best to reserve a table in advance.

I had souvlaki skewers with cheese gratinated in Metaxa sauce: simply fabulous. Since I cook a lot, I know how difficult it is to get gratinated food to the point where it is still tender and pink on the inside. The chef at Samos did this masterfully, tender, pink, it melted in your mouth. And the Metaxa sauce, simply yummy!!! Three thumbs up!!! I can recommend the dish and the restaurant to everyone!! The service too, just nice!!

Very good food, we like to go there whenever we are in Elmshorn. Delicious fries and the meat tastefully seasoned. Finally, you should treat yourself to the Metaxa Private Reserve. Service extremely friendly and attentive.

We had dinner at Samos with a large group at the weekend. Otherwise I prefer the Greeks in the district administration. First of all, the service and the staff are top notch. Unfortunately, this restaurant is far too small for the size of the guests, so it is cramped and noisy. The food is of course the most important thing in the restaurant. Unfortunately, the relatively high price does not reflect the quality and, above all, the portion size. It was tasty, but it wasn't anything out of the ordinary and unfortunately for the first time in my life I DIDN'T feel full eating Greek food. In fact, the gyros were too finely cut for me personally. I had gyros with baby calamari and fries. I'll stick with my regular Greek!!

We've been there several times. The staff is always super friendly and also very understanding and affectionate towards small children. The shrimp were perfectly cooked and super tender. The meat is also juicy and delicious and we love the Metaxa sauce. The portions are reasonable. We always enjoy coming back.

Unfortunately, many people forget this. You really feel completely taken care of here. The food was fantastic and the service made our evening just perfect. I would give the food a 4.7 because there is too much dill in the tzatziki for me. But there isn't, so it stays at 5 and the dill is recorded under deductions in the B grade. Service very friendly and quick. It was a bit too loud for me, hence the ambience 4. One thing is certain: we'll be back.

I eat here regularly with family and/or friends. The calamari was OnPoint again today. The service was great, nothing to complain about! I've already eaten in a number of Greek restaurants in Elmshorn, in the Pinneberg district and also outside of S.-H. and SAMOS is in the top 10%! The 5 stars are given for the price-performance ratio. Of course the quality of the food in Mälzers Bullerei is a level higher, but so is the price! I'll be back! 😋

We were in Samos for the first time today and were given a very friendly welcome with a short-term reservation. There were three of us and we ordered starters for the middle. Everything tasted excellent. The service team was very attentive. We'd love to come back.

While looking for a Greek restaurant "on the side of the road" we came across a rating of 4.8 and asked ourselves after trying it out: Why not 5 stars consistently? The food is great, the staff is friendly and quick. Absolutely nothing to complain about. Addition from October 2024: Still great and still found nothing to complain about 😜

Delicious fresh gyros and super friendly staff!

We always enjoy being here. Very good, high quality food that is prepared with a lot of love. Everyone will find the right thing for themselves here. We were very satisfied with our shrimp, meze and then gyros with minced steak, as well as the chocolate souffle.

We had a small celebration and decided on Samos. It was a good choice as our guests had never eaten here before and it was our second time. Our guests and we were very enthusiastic. If you are in Elmshorn you MUST stop and dine at SAMOS - you won't regret it! I have already eaten in various Greek restaurants, but never as tasty as in SAMOS. I get food from Samos at least once a week and no matter what I order, it's really good quality, it's always really tasty, a really good selection, typical Greek dishes, fresh and delicious. Simply good. It's often difficult for me to decide because I like almost everything. During my time as a vegetarian, I didn't have to think about another restaurant, because vegetarian dishes, in addition to the absolute flexibility of the Samos team, never disappointed me. I didn't even like fish before, and Samos even convinced me of that. My family celebrations take place at or at least with food from Samos. The interior design is great, the service is friendly and this restaurant is rightly very well attended. The highlight every week for me: food from Samos. If I could give it more than five points, I would.
