Restaurant with a slightly rustic charm. Nevertheless, the food for the wedding was very tasty. Like mom's.
And yes, there are 5 stars if you deserve it.
A guest at the wedding on August 10th
I spontaneously went there on a Friday evening, received a friendly welcome, and was able to choose my seat. My server was very friendly, courteous, and attentive. The food was very well prepared and perfectly seasoned. The atmosphere was pleasant even though it was full. I felt very comfortable and enjoyed the meal immensely. The service was outstanding. More attentive than I've rarely experienced anywhere else. No long waits. Always perfect timing. They asked me how the food was, and I didn't have to wait long for the food or for payment. I was very impressed. Thank you for the lovely evening with you.
I can recommend it. My surf and turf was great. The atmosphere was fantastic. Friendly and quick service with some witty remarks. I have nothing to complain about... best regards, Welle
Asado is a term used to define a cut of meat and a style of grilling.
I say this, so that if the chef were ever interested in reading these reviews, he might be struck by an epiphany about the reason for the name of the place (written in comic Sans on the sign).
Call me the usual pain-in-the-ass Italian if you want, but add the fact that I'm also Argentinian; and I ate the asado together with the milk from my mother's zinne.
I can therefore say that the meat was of a quality that barely bordered on sufficiency.
Plus:
When we arrived at the restaurant, we were greeted by a waiter who I don't think had any interest in making us feel at ease. Fortunately, the situation was resolved just after the orders were given with the intervention of another waiter who took care of us with a much friendlier manner, boosting the morale of the whole group, who were already on the verge of wanting to leave upon arrival.
The menu is a mix of Mexican, Argentine and Spanish cuisine, which tries to bring together and summarize them all in a clever way, to seem more than what will actually be shown on the plate.
If history has taught us anything, it is that centuries of civil wars have devastated the aforementioned nations and that therefore trying to propose them together on a culinary level is not a great idea.
In the end I must say that the cocktails made up for the damage caused by the food, very good.
Summing everything up then on the price: you pay knowing that you have spent money on something that you would have cooked better at home.
Sin.
Food subpar, service subpar. Sushi put together by vegetarian and non-vegetarian creatures, stick to each other and everything tastes/smells of the animal products. If there is demand, this is normal, no it is not, we have not experienced this with any other provider. Stay away from this provider!
This restaurant is a classic all-you-can-eat restaurant with Germanized Chinese cuisine. From fried noodles to baked chicken to the popular Eight Treasures, there's everything a MSG-loving heart could desire. There's also a carefully selected fresh counter with meat and fish specialties, which you can have grilled and prepared on the spot. It's an interesting concept. Most notably, the prepared dishes are brought to your table by a robot. There's also a small selection of sushi with all the trimmings, including seaweed salad, which I highly recommend. During my visit, the restaurant wasn't very busy, even though it has room for countless guests. Unfortunately, it seemed a bit dingy in some places. If you want to eat your fill for a fair price, you can certainly do that here, but don't expect Michelin-starred cuisine.
