Habe sehr gut auf der großen Terasse direkt am Fluss gegessen. Schöne Aussicht! Portionen gut. Faire Preise. Leckere Sachen, vor allem, wenn man Knoblauch mag! Sehr zu empfehlen!

Super hervorragende Lage direkt an der Mulde ! Essen lecker und ausreichend. Bedienung schnell und freundlich.Preise realistisch zum aktuellen Preisgefüge. (es war nicht sehr voll) Parkplätze direkt am Haus! Gerne wieder!

Essen ist unschlagbar, sehr grosse Auswahl. Wenn Ich das naechste mal wieder in Dessau bin gehts definitiv wieder zu Mati.

Wir kommen sehr oft und gerne her,das Essen is Super lecker und Bedienung auch sehr nett. Das einzige was ich sehr schade finde das der Spielplatz für die Kinder quasi nicht mehr bespielbar ist bzw alles kaputt ist Oder gar nicht mehr da . Für Familien (wie wir)zum Beispiel, wäre das eine gute Beschäftigung für die kinder. Wird das nochmal erneuert oder bleibt es so trostlos wie es momentan ist? Liebe Grüße.

Sehr lecker! Sehr nette Mitarbeiter und aufmerksam. Ich hatte einen Sonderwunsch,der ohne Probleme erfüllt wurde. Wenn ich nach Dessau komme,ist immer mindestens 1 Besuch bei Mati dabei!

Sehr gute Mittagskarte zum fairen Preis. Das Essen ist lecker, gut überwürzt, und das Fleisch super gebraten. Meine Frau meinte, die Leber wäre auch sehr gut gewesen. Fazit, wir kommen gerne wieder.

Waren spontan zu neunt zum Mittagessen hier. Der Außenbereich mit seinen Sitzplätzen direkt an der Mulde ist sehr schön, toller Ausblick im modernen Ambiente. Das Essen war vorzüglich! Gegrillte Fetataschen, Gyros und Kritaraki in Metaxasauce wahnsinnig lecker. Der Service war auch super und die Wartezeiten sehr angemessen. Auch die Kinderfreundlichkeit kann man positiv hervorheben.

Zum Donnerstag abend dachten wir 2 oh oh hätten bestimmt reservieren müssen...aber die freundliche Mitarbeiterin sagte alles ok kommen sie kein Problem...alle Mitarbeiter waren freundlich Nett und zuvorkommend..essen kam schnell trotz vollem haus und schmeckte super...man verweilte sehr schön mit Blick auf die Mulde bis auf einmal das Wetter umschlug...Regen und sehr starker Wind trieben uns dann doch nach über 2h zum gehen hinaus...wir kommen wieder..bis zum nächsten mal🥰

Fast wäre uns ein kulinarischer Genuss entgangen, da wir in anderen Internetforen sehr schlechte Bewertungen gelesen hatten. Doch wir hatten uns davon nicht beeindrucken lassen, und man kann sagen, dass wir hier sehr gut gegessen, sehr gut bedient wurden und alles in allem wunderbar gesättigt aus dem Restaurant kamen.

Mai 2026: sehr schön an der Mulde gelegen, mit herrlichem Blick auf die Au. Sehr gastfreundlich, aufmerksam und auf individuelle Wünsche eingehend. Große Portionen, die schmecken. Mit den richtigen Gästen kann man überall eine gute Zeit verbringen. Das mati eine tolle Terrasse, das Essen war schnell da und auch gut. Bei den Nachtisch ist es lt. Meiner Mitgäste noch Verbesserungsbedarf. Der Service war sehr gut und freundlich.

Restaurant Mati Dessau Wir kamen durch einem Zufall in das Lokal Mati. Es handelt sich um ein sehr großes griechisches Restaurant. Es liegt abseits der Innenstadt, aber sehr schön am Ufer der Mulde. Es gibt viele Tische und viele nette Mitarbeiter. Es gab sehr leckeren griechischen Wein. Vor dem Hauptgericht gab es einen großen Salat. Das Essen war sehr gut und umfangreich. Vor allem schmeckte alles wie in Griechenland.

Wir waren heute hier zum Abendessen zum einen auf Grund der guten Bewertungen und zum anderen kam uns der Name "Mati" sehr bekannt vor. Das Essen, der Service und die Atmosphäre waren top. Natürlich waren wir neugierig wegen dem Namen....denn wir kennen das "Mati" aus Werder (bei Potsdam). Ja und....sie gehören zusammen. Danke, für die nette Unterhaltung und die Aufmerksamkeiten. Werden die Grüße ausrichten. Haben beschlossen am Muttertag das "Mati" in Werder zu besuchen.

Ein echtes griechisches Restaurant mit Seele und Anspruch und sehr freundlichem Personal. Manche Gerichte hätten etwas saftiger beim Fleisch sein können, aber im Vergleich zu anderen teils pseudo griechischen Restaurants eine echte Empfehlung.

Wir wurden sehr herzlich bedient und das Essen war fantastisch.

Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Abend und kommen sehr gerne wieder.

Super nette Bedienung und sehr leckeres Essen. Trotz vollem Haus mit Veranstaltungen haben wir sowohl Getränke als auch unser Essen binnen weniger Minuten bekommen. War eine sehr kurzfristige Valentinstags Entscheidung die sich mehr als gelohnt hat. Ein großes Dankeschön an die Mitarbeiter und Köche.

Das Mati hat einen wunderschönen Außenbereich direkt an der Mulde, in dem man in den Sommermonaten wirklich wunderbar sitzen kann. Es fühlt sich an, als wäre man direkt in der Natur. In den kälteren Monaten kann man ansehnlich gestalteten Innenraum einkehren. Dieser verfügt zu dem über zwei separate größere Räume für private Feierlichkeiten. Das Servicepersonal ist sehr aufmerksam und spendiert gerne das ein oder andere regionale Kaltgetränk. Das Essen ist durchweg von guter Qualität, verfügt aber über kein Alleinstellungsmerkmal. Die Metaxa-Soße ist leider mit sehr sehr viel Sahne versetzt, sodass der eigentliche Geschmack nur wenig dominiert, was sehr schade ist. Die Preise liegen nach meiner Einschätzung leicht über dem Durchschnitt. Alles in allem aber ein Restaurant, in das man guten Gewissens einkehren kann. Am besten aber im Sommer, denn der Außenbereich macht jegliche Kritik wieder wett.

Ich habe nur einen Kaffee getrunken,aber es sah auf den Nachbartischen gut aus und die Telle wurden leer abgeräumt.Das spricht doch für sich.

Sehr leckeres Essen, Service 1A. Wir waren Samstag Abend ohne Reservierung zu viert plus 2 Eurasier da. Wurden super getrennt von Großgesellschaften plaziert. Unsere 2 Fellknäule hatten genug Platz zum friedlichen Rumdösen, das Personal war trotz vieler Gäste aufmerksam und zügig in der Bedienung, die Küche kam gut hinterher. Preis-Leistung stimmte wie immer. Portionsgröße: man wird gut satt, auch als guter Esser.

Wir haben gestern ein schönes Silvesterfest gefeiert, das Essen war sehr gut . Das Team vom Servicepersonal war stetig umsichtig, freundlich und gutgelaunt . Kleine griechische Tanz Einlagen, aber auch der DJ aus Wittenberg und seine Auswahl an Songs, entsprach der Feier. Es wurde getanzt und wir denken auf jedenfall darüber nach, 2026 wieder das Jahr dort zu beenden.

The food is very good, but they are very rude and cheeky. We said we wanted to pay separately. Then we asked how much it cost in total so we could split it four ways and pay that way. The waiter told us, "I just asked, and you said separate." Instead of telling them what we ate 20 times, we just split it amongst ourselves. You can pay however you want!

Wonderful place! A gorgeous terrace right on the river, the atmosphere is unique. The food is simply outstanding, and the staff is extremely attentive and friendly. As a surprise, we even included a house aperitif. An all-around perfect experience – highly recommended!

The food is excellent, the interior ambiance is very nice, and the outdoor terrace with a view of the Mulde River is unparalleled in Dessau. The service varies in quality; the staff is adequate and very friendly, but unfortunately not attentive enough, and when it's quiet, they rarely come to your table, hoping you'll leave soon. It's a shame, especially if you're dining there for business. After a brief dip in quality, the restaurant has now recovered; the last two visits were excellent.

We were here for dinner, and everything was to our satisfaction. A wonderful outdoor area right by the hollow under a huge oak tree. The food was excellent, ready quickly, and very tasty. The service was very attentive and always checked that everything was okay and asked for drinks. I do have to deduct one small point, though: we were still at the starters when the main courses were immediately placed on our tables. Since the tables aren't exactly huge, it was quite cramped. It would have been better to time it so that the starters are finished and the dishes cleared away first, before serving the main courses. But all of this is just nitpicking and well-intentioned advice for improvement. We wish you continued success and keep up the good work! We'll definitely be back. Thank you very much.

We went to Mati in Dessau-Roßlau yesterday to toast our friend's civil wedding. The restaurant is beautifully situated right on the Mulde River and offers a pleasant atmosphere. Despite being busy, the staff was extremely friendly and attentive. The food was delicious, as were the drinks. The value for money was also impressive. A lovely evening, and we'd love to come back. ✨

If you're alone, you only get a seat by the wall, even though there are tables available by the water. That's discriminatory. I left.

It was a successful visit to this very good, typically Greek restaurant. The staff was friendly and attentive – we felt welcome from the very first moment. We ordered à la carte; all dishes were served simultaneously. A small touch: we were served a carafe of chilled ouzo – not a must, but definitely a nice bonus that rounded off the experience. I particularly remember that anyone who wanted it received an espresso on the house at the end. Delicious, a bit unusual, but really cool and generous! The restaurant's location is also a big plus: right on the Mulde River, with a beautiful outdoor terrace, which is certainly a highlight in the summer. Due to the cooler temperatures, we sat inside this time. Also important: There is ample parking. We'd be happy to go back!

A good and friendly Greek restaurant. Ideal for larger groups, as the food is served quickly and in sufficient quantities. Ouzo is poured generously and is therefore not on the menu. You can enjoy good food here in a very chic atmosphere with friendly service.

The food here is highly recommended! Don't let the exterior put you off. The service is super friendly. We didn't have to wait for a table in the evening; the restaurant offers plenty of space both inside and outside. Plenty of free parking. You can pay by card.

Four of us ate here last week. Every summer I sat outside, which was very nice. You have a great view of the Mulde. It's also very pleasant inside and has a great Greek flair. The food was very tasty and the portions were reasonable compared to the price. The employees were very nice. Would eat here again :)

We had an unforgettable, great evening yesterday (8.3.25). The service was absolutely great. There were 13 of us and the restaurant was full. Nevertheless, everything went smoothly. The staff was friendly and incredibly hardworking. A very big big compliment. The food was also super tasty. Everything came as ordered. Great dishes. So also big compliments to the kitchen. Went here once yesterday. The food was a bit disappointing. The fries were soggy and it was very carelessly prepared. So for almost €20 per meal I expected more. The service was very friendly and tried hard, despite it being so full, everything came quite quickly. The men's toilet was completely broken. It should be fixed. But we all still had a nice evening.

This is not a restaurant but a cheap canteen. The restaurant management policy is ineffective. If you no longer have any seats available, but the tables are empty, you can accommodate additional guests who are arriving now, as others will have table reservations in 1-2 hours. Learn to work and cook in the Teehäuschen restaurant, the best restaurant in Dessau.
