Wonderful place! A gorgeous terrace right on the river, the atmosphere is unique. The food is simply outstanding, and the staff is extremely attentive and friendly. As a surprise, we even included a house aperitif. An all-around perfect experience – highly recommended!

The food is excellent, the interior ambiance is very nice, and the outdoor terrace with a view of the Mulde River is unparalleled in Dessau. The service varies in quality; the staff is adequate and very friendly, but unfortunately not attentive enough, and when it's quiet, they rarely come to your table, hoping you'll leave soon. It's a shame, especially if you're dining there for business. After a brief dip in quality, the restaurant has now recovered; the last two visits were excellent.

We were here for dinner, and everything was to our satisfaction. A wonderful outdoor area right by the hollow under a huge oak tree. The food was excellent, ready quickly, and very tasty. The service was very attentive and always checked that everything was okay and asked for drinks. I do have to deduct one small point, though: we were still at the starters when the main courses were immediately placed on our tables. Since the tables aren't exactly huge, it was quite cramped. It would have been better to time it so that the starters are finished and the dishes cleared away first, before serving the main courses. But all of this is just nitpicking and well-intentioned advice for improvement. We wish you continued success and keep up the good work! We'll definitely be back. Thank you very much.

We went to Mati in Dessau-Roßlau yesterday to toast our friend's civil wedding. The restaurant is beautifully situated right on the Mulde River and offers a pleasant atmosphere. Despite being busy, the staff was extremely friendly and attentive. The food was delicious, as were the drinks. The value for money was also impressive. A lovely evening, and we'd love to come back. ✨

If you're alone, you only get a seat by the wall, even though there are tables available by the water. That's discriminatory. I left.

It was a successful visit to this very good, typically Greek restaurant. The staff was friendly and attentive – we felt welcome from the very first moment. We ordered à la carte; all dishes were served simultaneously. A small touch: we were served a carafe of chilled ouzo – not a must, but definitely a nice bonus that rounded off the experience. I particularly remember that anyone who wanted it received an espresso on the house at the end. Delicious, a bit unusual, but really cool and generous! The restaurant's location is also a big plus: right on the Mulde River, with a beautiful outdoor terrace, which is certainly a highlight in the summer. Due to the cooler temperatures, we sat inside this time. Also important: There is ample parking. We'd be happy to go back!

A good and friendly Greek restaurant. Ideal for larger groups, as the food is served quickly and in sufficient quantities. Ouzo is poured generously and is therefore not on the menu. You can enjoy good food here in a very chic atmosphere with friendly service.

The food here is highly recommended! Don't let the exterior put you off. The service is super friendly. We didn't have to wait for a table in the evening; the restaurant offers plenty of space both inside and outside. Plenty of free parking. You can pay by card.

Four of us ate here last week. Every summer I sat outside, which was very nice. You have a great view of the Mulde. It's also very pleasant inside and has a great Greek flair. The food was very tasty and the portions were reasonable compared to the price. The employees were very nice. Would eat here again :)

Once again we enjoyed it very much. After the friendly welcome, we were served immediately. We didn't have to wait long for our food. Unfortunately, we were so full after eating that we couldn't order a delicious dessert this time. :-)

We're still sitting here. Came here spontaneously, the ambience and service were great as always. We sat outside first and then went inside because it was getting cold. Went here once yesterday. The food was a bit disappointing. The fries were soggy and it was very carelessly prepared. So for almost €20 per meal I expected more. The service was very friendly and tried hard, despite it being so full, everything came quite quickly. The men's toilet was completely broken. It should be fixed. But we all still had a nice evening.

We had an unforgettable, great evening yesterday (8.3.25). The service was absolutely great. There were 13 of us and the restaurant was full. Nevertheless, everything went smoothly. The staff was friendly and incredibly hardworking. A very big big compliment. The food was also super tasty. Everything came as ordered. Great dishes. So also big compliments to the kitchen. The DJ was great. Great music 🎶, great atmosphere. We danced and had so much fun. An absolutely heartfelt thank you to the entire Mati team. We will 100% come back. Thank you, thank you, thank you

This is not a restaurant but a cheap canteen. The restaurant management policy is ineffective. If you no longer have any seats available, but the tables are empty, you can accommodate additional guests who are arriving now, as others will have table reservations in 1-2 hours. Learn to work and cook in the Teehäuschen restaurant, the best restaurant in Dessau.

Hello, we like to eat there when we are nearby, we come from the Harz Mountains

So the food was ok, but there were 6 of us sitting at a very small table. Since we hadn't managed to eat several meals, we had it packed up, unfortunately we found out the next day that it wasn't our food. Or a meal was divided into two bowls, we don't know exactly.... In any case, it wasn't the amount or the food that was left on our plates. It is also very expensive we paid between €30-40 per person! Even though the staff was nice, we probably won't go there again...

I put all sorts of starters together myself and they were ok. However, the main course was already brought without us finishing the starters. Plenty of ouzo. I ordered lamb chops and for the first time experienced receiving meat that had been cut into shape to give the impression of a chop. Somehow that leaves me speechless! Has the charm of the 90s. The main thing is quick and cheap. It's a shame. Great location and unnecessary...

Wir waren mit 2 Geburtstagskindern essen gewesen,1 Erwachsen und ein 10 jähriges Kind was an dem gleichen Tag Geburtstag hatte,was auch optisch am Tisch zu sehen war.Wir waren nur leider 5 Erwachsene+ 1 Kind.Tische mit 10 oder 12 Leuten wurden besser bedient,behandelt wie wir weil sie ja auch mehr Umsatz bringen.Meine Frau und ich waren oft dort essen aber seit dem Abend sind wir sehr enttäuscht und werden keine positive weiter Empfehlung geben und bei anderen Gelegenheiten andere Restaurants besuchen.

Positive: The view, the free parking space and the large bicycle parking space. Flexibility: My questions about something spicy, like chili and whether a shandy could also be made from wheat, were only answered with wide eyes, nothing else. I could just as easily have asked about the theory of relativity. Food: The side salad consisted of iceberg lettuce killed with an almost tasteless viscous white mass. In addition to fried potatoes, the surprise platter also included 1 minced steak, a very tiny turkey steak and a sticky pulled pork mixture. The tzatziki was probably from a large bucket. Creativity: None Respect for the staff who have to walk very long distances. It's a shame - more could be done with the location. The store was still pretty full.

Just disappointed. Went to Mati yesterday. First the blatant lie...100 people would come straight away. Since we (2 people) couldn't really decide which main course we would take. You can leave out your salads that are part of the main course! Olives and pepperoni are simply no longer added to it. Your quality has deteriorated a lot. Were guests from the start and were used to better things.

If you have to wait 45 minutes for your drink at 30 degrees, something is wrong. I actually wanted to eat something too, but who knows how long I would have had to wait.
