If you have to wait 45 minutes for your drink at 30 degrees, something is wrong. I actually wanted to eat something too, but who knows how long I would have had to wait.

Just always great. We come here every year on our wedding anniversary, and now and then. It's always nice. The large outdoor terrace is gorgeous, but the indoor area also has its charm. Food, service, ambience is first class. We have never been dissatisfied.

Good Greek where the food tastes very good. You can sit comfortably inside or outside on the terrace, next to the hollow. The service was very friendly and nice. You didn't have to wait long to be served.

Unfortunately we are incredibly disappointed. At the beginning I have to say, we chose this restaurant (wedding party) because it really has a nice outdoor area. Since we had never been there before and had absolutely no idea what the service or food was like, we thought positively and let ourselves be “surprised”. Unfortunately, the only positive point was the beautiful outdoor area, everything else was more than bad. When we made the reservation (about 1/2 year before the wedding) we stated straight away that it would be our wedding day. The nice gentleman (at the time) said it depended on the weather because we wanted to sit outside. It would probably also be possible to celebrate inside if the weather is bad. We also made reservations á la cart. Well, so we arrived on that day and asked which table was reserved for us outside. The answer from the waiter was simply a shrug of the shoulders and a small hint that we should get a larger table somewhere and that if it rained it wouldn't be possible to move inside. The menu and ouzo were brought to us relatively quickly, everything was fine. Drinks and ordering the main course also went quickly. When we finished eating, things went downhill. A small carafe of ouzo was placed on the right side (large table/15 people) of the table and we were left to our own devices. After shouting, someone came again to take the order for dessert. It was brought, but cutlery was missing for this. After reminding us again and asking for the missing cutlery, we were simply left sitting. None, absolutely none of the waiters felt obligated to pay us any attention. They just stood around at the entrance and chatted. It may not sound so dramatic, but we all really expected more and not to be completely ignored. It was really just a clearance. Of course they were happy to bring the bill. Dear Mati team, you really have to do it again. That doesn't work at all.

Delicious food, nice service, large portions. I recommend it because it is worth a visit, meals inside and outside. Rich menu, desserts and drinks too.

Normal Greek dishes in sufficient portions. There is a lot of echoing in the rooms and the talking and clattering of cutlery make it difficult to have a quiet conversation...it's better to sit outside. The service is rated so negatively because, despite the guests being well organized, the waiters literally fled and only took drink orders when spoken to directly.

I'm really pleased. Especially on warm days, the terrace with the view of the Mulde is a dream. Food and service is also top.

The gyros with fries was very tasty and the staff was friendly. A small portion was enough for me. Unfortunately the plates were cleared away even though one person was still eating, that's not possible! Ouzo was served in a jug, something we've never had before.

Positive: - nice ambience with the lights in the evening and the Greek flair - Unfortunately, the tzatziki and the cocktails tasted really bad - Portion sizes were okay but could have been a little more for me Negative: - we sat outside and there were no blankets for the guests by the water, it was cold and there were only smokers sitting around us, that was an absolute no go to the staff, I see urgent seating arrangements here - Bifteki filled with sheep's cheese had no cheese in it and the Metaxasouce tasted like Souce Hollondais, only reddish, underwhelming, Metaxasouce is a sauce with Metaxa schnapps fried and mixed and Bifteki filled is a round meatball with a lot of cheese in it like a calzone, only round - There are no heaters for the evening by the water and no wind protection under the pavilion - Usos as always way too much without being asked - Waitresses spoke German very poorly Despite all the negative criticism, I see improvements here that would result in more stars, I hope it will be improved, but we will still come back.

The food is good. Staff is friendly. Go there again. The taste has diminished over time. You now have the feeling that everything has to happen quickly. Even though the starter hasn't really been finished yet, the main dish is already there.

Mati is a beautiful Greek restaurant, completely modern, located on the Mulde River. The atmosphere of the restaurant is optimal. A very large terrace creates a very romantic atmosphere in the summer. It is an absolute must. The staff is very friendly and provides perfect service. We have been coming there for years and it is always a wonderful party for us. We have seen a lot in our lives, but that is definitely our highlight.

So far we haven't been drawn here, But today we spontaneously had a great evening with solid food at good prices! Only the Metaxa sauce could be stronger and the sauce for the Mati potatoes tasted a bit artificial. However, the service was incredibly attentive and extremely friendly! The view of the Mulde is very beautiful! The children's menu is varied, there was a children's schnapps and there is also a small children's playground!

In summer the ambience is certainly better if you can sit outside. Now it was a crowded guest room with the noise of the train station. We waited forever for food and drinks or for us to be able to order again. You have to look at the food differently. The quality and cooking of the meat was great, the side dishes and sauces were not good. Everything was too creamy and the spices were missing.

Simply great. Especially the garlic bread 👌.

In winter you can sit comfortably inside and in summer it is very pleasant outside on the large terrace with a view of the Mulde.

Today we were disappointed for the third time in a row. There would have been a few more people today, the restaurant wasn't overly full, but we were often sitting on dry land, the food was almost cold, the price-performance ratio was no longer there at all, the food was completely forgotten, and the schnitzel was quickly eaten Chipped... oh no, I could go on like this for a while. The staff was friendly. The only plus point. Sorry. That was the last time for me.

Das Restaurant ist gut gelegen, der Service ist nett und zuvorkommend, aber beim Essen ist definitiv noch Luft nach oben und es ist verbesserungswürdig. Alles in allem hatten wir aber einen guten Abend, was über den einen oder anderen Mangel hinwegschauen lässt.

Immerwieder gern. Freundlich,preiswert... es passt eben. Wir waren auch zum Jahreswechsel da und es war super,feucht-fröhlich. Es hat einfach Spaß gemacht 🇬🇷🥰

War zu einer Familienfeier dort. Direkt an der Mulde, war das Ambiente im Außenbereich sehr schön. Drinnen ist es halt die typische Gestaltung eines griechischen Restaurants. Es gab ein reichhaltiges Buffet, das Essen war lecker und wurde aufgefüllt, sobald die Behälter leer waren. Etwas gestört hat mich, dass die Kellner keinen Überblick hatten, wer im Laufe des Abends welche Getränke bestellt hat und man immer gefragt wurde, ob der Tonic oder das Radler an diesem Tisch serviert werden sollten. Aber ok, ist halt Fachkräftemangel... ;)

Wir gehen zu Mati weil da alles stimmt von der Chefin bis hin zum Personal der Service das Ambiente und das tolle Essen ist einfach super auch unsere kinder wollen nur zu Mati.

Wir waren heute mit einer Gruppe zu Gast. Obwohl ich Dessauer bin, war ich vorher noch nie hier. Es gefiel mit gut, die Stimmung war toll, das Essen gut und preiswert. Für mich persönlich war die Portion etwas klein Alles gut, ich komme bestimmt mal wieder.

Gut besuchtes Restaurant mit umfangreichen Angebot. Vielleicht können noch 2 -3 vegetarische Gerichte angeboten werden und dann separat auf der Speisekarte erscheinen.

So haben wir uns das nicht vorgestellt. Laute Musik von einem DJ, es sollte ein Griechischer Abend werden, statt dessen wurde alles andere als griechische Musik gespielt, und dazu noch sehr laut.

Geschmacklich sehr gutes Essen, freundliche Bedienung und passendes Ambiente, gern wieder, auf jeden Fall im Sommer auf der grossen Terrasse

Das Essen ist sehr lecker. Wir hatten die Zucchini mit Tzaziki als Vorspeise. Bifteki und Souflaki als Hauptspeise. Sehr lecker gewürzt, gut gebraten und ausreichend! Die Kellner sind sehr aufmerksam und freundlich. Wenn wir noch mal in der Nähe sind, kommen wir gerne wieder. Lustig war der DJ und die Tanzfläche mit vielen Liedern für gute Laune. Gutes Restaurant mit Potential nach oben. + Ambiente und Standort + relativ günstige Getränke + schnelle und bemühte Bedienung + herzlicher Empfang und Verabschiedung - Leider kalt im Innenraum bei kühlen Außentemperaturen - lieblos servierte Speisen Fazit: nicht der beste und nixht der schlechteste Grieche bei dem wir waren. Wir wissen noch nicht ob wir wiederkommen...

Essen ist dort sehr gut, kann die Lammfilets nur empfehlen. Punktabzug von mir für: - Leider keine Honigbällchen - kein Kartenzahlung nicht erwünscht Wir kommen trotzdem wieder, vielleicht klappt es ja dann mit der Kartenzahlung...

Leckeres Essen, gute Preise, sehr freundliches Personal und schönes Ambiente. Kann man auch kurz vorm Feierabend hinkommen und wird trotzdem bedient und man bekommt was man möchte

Bei schönem Wetter kann man draußen sitzen. Das Gyros mit Tzatziki war sehr lecker. Das Schnitzel mit Championsauce war enttäuschend. Die Sauce sah aus wie aus der Tüte und es fehlten die Champions in der Sauce.

Nettes Personal leider wenn voll sehr lange auf essen gewartet

Auf der Karte steht Lachs mit Salzkartoffeln, Brokkoli und Sauce. Eine Stunde nach der Bestellung kam endlich das Essen. Der Brokkoli war mit Lupe zu suchen. Nur 2 kleine Stücke mit Max. Einer Esslöffel Sauce. Ich dachte wirklich, dass es ein Witz war. Die Kartoffeln waren kalt und der Fisch trocken. Dann wurde während eine Person noch aß die Teller abgeräumt und das auch noch mit einer sehr unhöflichen Stimmung. Ich wurde regelrecht angemacht, ich sollte zur Seite gehen, damit sie meinen Teller abräumen könnte. Ich kann den Laden leider nicht mehr empfehlen. Für sie war eine reine Überforderung aber dann sollten sie einfach einen Teil sperren und nicht so viele Gäste annehmen, wenn sie das Personal dafür nicht haben. Sorry, dafür sind die Preise ganz schon gesalzen. 👎

Gemütliches Restaurant mit einer bezaubernden Terasse. Das Essen ist qualitativ mehr als in Ordnung. Bei unserem Besuch mussten wir bei jedem Gang leider unverhältnismäßig lange warten. Das freundliche Personal machte das dann aber wieder gut. Besuch auf jeden Fall wert.

An dem Tag war es sehr voll. Zum späteren abend wurde es leerer, trotz noch 3 besetzten Tischen musste man 2 mal nachfragen wo denn das Trinken bleibt. Das Servicepersonal stand am Tresen und hat sich unterhalten. Essen hat ewig gedauert aber war super. Naja, ich war etwas enttäuscht über die lange Wartezeit.

Ich als Griechischer Restaurant Staats Tester Deutschlands gebe nun meine Bewertung ab: Ganz nette Kneipe, schöner Blick auf die Mulde riecht etwas streng nach Fisch. Vorspeise Rolla und Hühnersuppe war sehr schmackhaft. Uso hat etwas wässrig geschmeckt . Gyros schmeckt wie frisch aus dem Aldi.

Als wir im Restaurant ankamen, war es bereits sehr voll, also rechneten wir damit, dass es etwas länger dauern wird. Aber was dann kam, überraschte uns doch sehr... und das nicht im positiven Sinne. Das Ambiente war so gar nicht, was man sich von einem griechischen Restaurant erwarten würde. Keine Musik, kaum Deko... Es war eher wie in einem Festzelt. Dieser Eindruck wurde noch dadurch verstärkt, dass wir, auf Grund der Wartezeit von über 2 Stunden, plötzlich von kaltem LED Licht, welches in Steifen unter einem riesigen Dach angeordnet waren, belechtet wurden, da es inzwischen dunkel geworden war. Die Bestellung lief eher schlecht als recht. Getränke wurden vergessen, die Frage nach einem Aschenbecher haben wir bestimmt 10mal gestellt (bin selber kein Raucher, aber wir hatten halt einen Raucher dabei). Alles in allem schien das Personal mit der Anzahl an Gästen völlig überfordert zu sein, was ich durchaus nachvollziehen kann, denn das Restaurant wurde immer voller und voller. Ich persönlich kann nicht nachvollziehen, warum man immer mehr Gäste ins Restaurant lässt, obwohl man ohnehin schon mit der Situation völlig überfordert ist. Wir sahen immer wieder das Gäste, die gerade erst gekommen waren, ihr Essen bereits erhielten und das Restaurant wieder verließen und wir warteten noch immer auf die Vorspeise. Nachdem dann alle letztendlich ihr Essen hatten kam die nächste Ernüchterung. Fleisch teilweise nicht durchgebraten, Reis völlig versalzen, Portionen eher schnell als liebevoll angerichtet, Kartoffeln aus der Pfanni Tüte, keine griechischen Gewürze. DIe Portionen waren ausreichend groß, aber das Auge isst halt mit. Wir verließen das Restaurant nach geschlagenen 3 Stunden auf einem unbeleuchteten Weg, der zum Parkplatz führte, auf dem man schnell sein musste, denn das Licht auf dem Parkplatz war zwar durch Bewegungsmelder aktiviert, leuchtete jedoch nur ca. 15 Sekunden. Gerade für unsere älteren Mitesser war das natürlich viel zu kurz, weshalb einer der Jüngeren immer wieder zurücklaufen musste um das Licht zu aktivieren. Das Restaurant ist schön gelegen, hat aber viel Potential nach oben. Die personelle Situation ist durchaus nachvollziehbar, aber gerade dann muss man als Unternehmer vllt. erkennen, dass die Gäste bei den angesetzten Preisen eine gewisse Qualität erwarten und eventuell nicht die Quantität eine Rolle spielen sollte. Ganz am Ende gabs im Übrigen auch auf Nachfrage keinen Kassenbon. Eher schwierig, meiner Meinung nach. Trotz alledem war es ein lustiger Abend, nur eben leider ohne griechisches Flair.

Dieses Restaurant ist eine wirkliche Erlebnisgastronomie! Hier wird die Dienstleistung am Gast spürbar,absolut freundliche, zuvorkommende Bedienung, phantastische griechische Speisen, innen und aussen, ein phantastisches Ambiente. Ich empfehle dieses Restaurant, wirklich jedem Besucher von Dessau! Übrigens ist auch bestens für Kinder und deren Beschäftigung gesorgt! Ein phantastischer Ort, für die ganze Familie, phantastische Speisen, absolut Empfehlenswert!

Freundlicher und flotter Kellner, top Preis/Leistung. Ich habe mir als Vorspeise gegrillte Peperoni bestellt. Gegrillte Leber mit Zwiebeln und Kartoffelscheiben als Hauptspeise. Sehr lecker und reichlich. Vor und nach dem Essen gab's noch einen Ouzo aufs Haus. Ich würde wieder kommen, wenns nicht zu weit weg wäre ; -)

Das griechische Restaurant bot uns typisch griechisches und leckeres Essen. Die Bedienung war freundlich und auf dem eigenen Hof gab es ausreichend Parkplätze. Die Aussicht auf die Mulde war wunderschön, und die Inneneinrichtung trug zum angenehmen Ambiente bei. Ich würde das Restaurant gerne erneut besuchen.

Direkt neben dem Radweg an der Mulde befindet sich das Mediterran Restaurant und bietet mehr als nur einen schönen Ausblick auf die Mulde. Das freundliche Service Personal lebt den Service Gedanken und die Küche sorgt für das leibliche Wohl befinden. Alles gute und macht weiter so 🍀

Hervorragendes Essen, sehr nettes und aufmerksames Personal, wunderschönes lokal und Ambiente

Ein nette Gelegenheit Essen zu gehen, allerdings mit Deutsche Schlagermusik beim Griechen etwas falsch an dieser Stelle. Zwei Kellner für das Objekt einfach zu wenig, sie waren aber bemüht. Lange Wartezeit beim Trinken und Essen bestellen. Mein Gericht war nicht besonders heiß gewesen, dafür das es überbacken war.

Lage des Restaurants sehr schön. Saßen auf der Terrasse direkt am Wasser. Essen war sehr lecker und kam auch schnell. Das einzige was nicht so gut war die Freundlichkeit des Personals. Wirkten sehr gestresst und stellenweise auch lustlos. Mehrere Kellner bedienten durcheinander einen Tisch und er wurde schon abgeräumt, obwohl noch nicht alle fertig waren mit Essen.

Immer wieder schön, sehr freundliches Personal, sehr gutes Essen und tolles Ambiente. Der neue Biergarten lst toll auch bei Regen. Der mediterrane Kinderspielplatz kann sich sehen lassen. Mittagskarte unbedingt verlangen, die kommt nicht unbedingt automatisch, lohnt sich bei kleineren Hunger.

It is a perfect choice for a get-together meal. When the weather is fine, I recommend sitting outside near the river and under a tree; however, insects might bother you if it gets warm. Although it was not crowded, it took a long time for our orders to be ready. But all the meals were delicious and fresh. The waiter was not very nice and patient.
