An und für sich, schmeckt das Essen, aber für den Preis und die kleine Portion auf dem Teller, war es ein Witz... Total enttäuscht... Das war das letzte Mal hier .. schade das man keine Bilder hier posten kann

Wir hatten unsere Hochzeitsfeier im Syrtaki Seeterrassen in Dessau und waren rundum begeistert. Das Essen war hervorragend: reichlich, frisch, geschmacklich stark und für alle Gäste etwas dabei. Besonders positiv waren der aufmerksame Service, die gute Organisation und die sehr angenehme Betreuung während der gesamten Feier. Die Getränke inkl. Super Cocktails kamen zügig, das Team war freundlich und professionell. Unsere Gäste haben sich im Saal wohlgefühlt und es wurde ausgiebig getanzt. Ein großes Dankeschön an das Gastronomen Ehepaar Franzi und Redi sowie das gesamte Team. Ihr habt mit eurer Herzlichkeit wesentlich dazu beigetragen, dass unsere Feier ein voller Erfolg wurde. Klare Empfehlung für Feiern, gutes Essen und starken Service in Dessau.

Bereits 2 mal waren wir hier zu Gast und eigentlich haben wir uns wohlgefühlt. Das Ambiente und Essen waren gut, das Personal freundlich und aufmerksam. Leider hatten wir beide Male das Pech, dass die Lautstärke in und um das Lokal extrem hoch waren, beim ersten Mal war es eine Gesellschaft im Lokal und beim 2. Mal eine Veranstaltung im Waldbad direkt nebenan.

Wir waren zu viert da. Das Essen hatte nichts mit der Griechischen Küche (außer der Beschreibung auf der Karte)zu tun. "Rinderleber Pfännchen " ungenießbar, da die Leber so trocken war, dass diese sich nicht mal mit einem Messer schneiden ließ. Als Ersatz bekam ich Lammkeule mit grünen Bohnen. Die Portion hatte außer einen Knochen so wenig Fleisch, dass es so aussah als wäre es der Rest von einem zurück gegebenen Essen. Aufgefüllt mit einer Megamenge roter Sauce ohne jeglichen Griechischen Gewürz und Geschmack. Auch die anderen Portionen "Gyros Überbacken mit Reis" waren völlig geschmacklos. Ich war zu Besuch in Dessau, gehe sehr gerne Griechisch essen , aber das war der Gipfel der schlechten Küche. Sehr, sehr schade und eine teure Erfahrung. Nie im Leben ist der Koch ein Grieche und probiert seine Gerichte selber aus.

Es war wirklich nicht lecker. Wir waren am 18.04. ohne Reservierung da. Zuerst gab es kalte gegrillte Peperoni, dann haben wir sie schwarz bekommen und immer noch nicht richtig warm. (Mikrowelle?) Ich hatte ein Fischteller, der war auch nicht wirklich warm. Die anderen beiden Essen waren auch nicht wirklich warm. Das einzige was schön war, die Umgebung. Waldbad eben. Hellas hat mir bis jetzt am besten gefallen und auch am leckersten.

Das Essen war einfach fantastisch! Alles wurde super schnell serviert und schmeckte typisch griechisch. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und die Aussicht atemberaubend. Der perfekte Ort für ein Wochenende oder einen besonderen Anlass. Absolut empfehlenswert! ☺️

Ein tolles Restaurant, Essen und Service super - Buffet besonders empfehlenswert!! 10 von 10**********

Vorab: Ich bzw. Wir bewerten hier nur das Buffet. Wir hatten für das Buffet einen Tisch reserviert. Telefonisch teilte man uns mit, dass es egal ist wann wir kommen. Also waren wir kurz nach 19 Uhr da. Offiziell begann das Buffet um 18 Uhr. Wie es vor Ort aussah: Vorspeisen alle. Außer liebloses Kraut und ein par Peperonis auf einer Platte. Nur kleine Tiefe Teller. Das einzige was nachgefüllt wurde war das Panna Cotta. Andere Speisen wie Knoblauchbrot, Burschetta, Pommes, Kroketten usw... lagen auch auf großen kalten Platten und waren komplett Kalt und durchgeweicht. Die "warmen" Speisen z.T. auch schon fast alle und teils kalt, zäh und trocken. Keine Überraschung, wenn die Behälter nicht von unten beheizt werden. Zwischendurch waren die Teller dann für 20 min. alle. Erst auf Nachfrage wurden neue gebracht. Auch hier wurde absolut nichts an Speisen nachgefüllt. Geschmacklich war es ok aber leider nichts besonderes. Im allgemeinen war es sehr laut in dem Raum. Das Servicepersonal war aber sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Auch wenn wir am Ende sehr lange auf die Rechnung gewartet haben. Nachdem wir beim bezahlen etwas Kritik äußerten, sagte man uns, dass die meisten schon um 5/halb 6 da sind. Fazit für uns: Wir hätten sehr gern eher gewusst, dass man schon so zeitig da sein muss um von allem etwas zu bekommen und es auch warm zu essen. Leider kein Wiederholungsbedarf für uns. Ein "all you can eat buffet" kennen wir anders.

Der absolute beste Grieche aller Zeiten! 🇬🇷✨ Ich bin wirklich begeistert – so gut habe ich noch nie gegessen! Das Syrtaki in Dessau ist einfach ein kulinarisches Highlight. Vom ersten Bissen bis zum letzten war alles perfekt: unglaublich frisch, authentisch gewürzt und mit ganz viel Liebe zubereitet. Die Atmosphäre ist herzlich und einladend, man fühlt sich sofort wohl. Der Service ist aufmerksam, freundlich und sorgt dafür, dass es einem an nichts fehlt. Und das Essen? Einfach MEGA! Jede Speise ist ein Genuss – saftig, aromatisch und perfekt abgestimmt. Ich kann es wirklich jedem empfehlen: Wer einmal hier war, kommt garantiert wieder. Für mich ganz klar – das beste griechische Restaurant überhaupt! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Wir hatten gestern eine schöne Geburtstagsfeier mit Verwandten und Freunden. Das Essen war wieder sehr lecker und der Service Klasse. Gastronomie ist heute ein härteres Geschäft denn je, ich weiß wovon ich rede, war selber bis zur Rente Köchin. Es macht viel Arbeit und aber auch Spaß, wenn die Gäste zufrieden sind. Tatsächlich ist es heute für viele Menschen schon Luxus Essen zu gehen. Aber Leute, macht es ab und zu und genießt die kleine Auszeit. Im Syrtaki gibt es jedenfalls ein Verwöhnprogramm.! Vielen Dank nochmal, wir kommen gerne wieder!!

Hier passt alles. Das Essen ist sehr lecker, schön angerichtet und die Portionen sind wirklich reichlich. Der Service ist aufmerksam und freundlich und dazu ist es noch sehr gemütlich mit einem schönen Ausblick. Dieses Restaurant bekommt eine klare Empfehlung.

Ein wirklich tolles Restaurant! Das Essen war super lecker und man merkt, dass hier mit frischen Zutaten und viel Liebe gekocht wird. Alles hat einfach perfekt geschmeckt. Auch das Personal ist unglaublich freundlich und aufmerksam, man fühlt sich direkt willkommen und sehr gut aufgehoben. Das Ambiente ist ebenfalls sehr schön – man kann hier richtig entspannt sitzen und den Abend genießen. Besonders der Außenbereich ist im Frühling und Sommer perfekt und lädt dazu ein, länger zu bleiben. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall sehr gerne wieder und können das Restaurant absolut weiterempfehlen!

Nach über zwei Stunden warten kam der Hauptgang , es gab keinen Ouzo. Das Personal war sichtlich überfordert mit so vielen Gästen. Das Bruschetta war ziemlich ölig und der Rest war okay. Leider ist es nicht das erste Mal, dass wir so lange warten mussten. Es war uns eine Lehre! Wir werden aufgrund des Service nicht noch einmal in das Syrtaki am Waldbad essen gehen.

Wir haben bereits Mittag und Abendessen dort genossen, als auch schon mitgenommen...es ist einfach schön dort.

Waren mit einer Gruppe aus 15 Personen zur Weihnachtsfeier. Essen und Getränke kamen schnell und der Service war super. Leider waren einige der Essen nicht mehr heiß sondern gerade noch lauwarm, was uns ein wenig gestört hat. Alles andere jedoch super.

Never had such a bad experience at a Greek restaurant. The food was good as usual. Later in the evening, there was no lighting at all, making it difficult to see the food. Only upon request were two table lamps brought. Despite extended opening hours on Saturdays, we were practically kicked out before 10:30 p.m. Ordering drinks was no longer possible. There were ten of us, so we could still make a decent profit, as everyone still wanted to order something. What annoys me most, though, is the fact that you can no longer pay by card at many restaurants in Dessau, including here. There's no bill, no receipt, nothing. Am I the only one wondering why this is happening? What's going on? It was fine before. We're now considering turning our backs on this restaurant. We've always enjoyed eating here.

Reservations are recommended for weekends. The food is plentiful. One minor drawback is the loose tiles in the entrance area, causing a slip hazard. Otherwise, recommended.

We had lunch at a Michelin-starred restaurant near Gotha. This restaurant had also participated in the My Local, Your Local competition and won. To cut a long story short, we were very disappointed. But the day ended on a great note. On the way home, just before Dessau, we decided to have dinner here. The winning plate from My Local, Your Local belongs here. Very friendly staff who sometimes joke around. "Here comes your medicine," the Uzo. No long waits for the food (1.5 hours at Gotha) and it tastes great. The view of the lake with a few palm trees gives you a bit of a vacation feeling. So our day ended on an excellent note with a great Greek atmosphere. We can only recommend stopping here.

The Syrtaki restaurant boasts a beautiful waterfront location. The ambiance is also very appealing. A plus is the playground, which, unfortunately, was very dirty during our visit. There was trash lying around in the sand, which detracted from the overall impression. The service was generally friendly, but somewhat disorganized. We were asked by several different waiters if we had already ordered, which was a bit confusing. A major drawback, however, was the reaction of one waiter to our request for ketchup for the child's meal. His response that it would take a while was rude, and he turned around without returning. After I had already finished my meal, I had to get the ketchup myself from the counter so our child could eat their now-cold schnitzel. This is completely unacceptable to me and leaves a bitter aftertaste. Nevertheless, the other waiters deserve praise for their friendly and courteous service. For us, the food was a disappointment. We ordered the following dishes: chicken with Metaxa sauce, chicken with Béarnaise sauce, and schnitzel with fries. The food seemed to have been prepared without care; everything appeared to have come straight from the deep fryer and was smothered in a lot of ready-made sauce, so everything tasted the same. We won't be coming back anytime soon.

Since the change of ownership, "Syrtaki" is unfortunately no longer recommended. Annoying service with constantly changing waiters, dried-out salad with random dressing, and an excessive amount of cheap ouzo. The food was disappointing: dry souvlaki, wobbly gyro, a slice of cheese instead of "gratinated," soggy fries, and canned tzatziki. Criticisms were not accepted. It's a shame – we used to love coming here because of the beautiful location. This was our last visit.

Sitting outside on the terrace in good weather and looking out at the lake is priceless.

We spontaneously stopped by for dinner with friends today. The service was patchy. At first, a server came by every few minutes and asked if we wanted to order, but we had already ordered everything. Then we had to wait almost an hour for the food, and if that weren't enough, our food was completely oversalted. Apparently, the Greek restaurant has a new owner and a new chef who still needs to learn how to cook.

A very nice, hospitable place with good food and very friendly staff. We had the oven-roasted lamb shank, and it was a tender dream. Try the Stifado! Amazing! Sitting by the lake in the summer is fantastic.

A lovely location overlooking the lake. In summer there are many seats on the terrace. The staff are very friendly and attentive. The selection of dishes is large and there are also senior dishes. A reservation from Friday to Sunday is recommended. There are new opening hours since November 1st, 2024! We enjoy every cozy evening at Syrtaki and definitely recommend it.

Great ambience, with a lake view. The food is very tasty, great nice service. When we visited today, the restaurant was already full and everything went very quickly... from the drinks to the food, just great. We will come again.

After the persistent rumor spread that Syrtaki had massively declined, we still ate there today. It was like always! Food tasty and decent portions, service friendly and fast. It was very well attended and everyone looked happy. There is a small star deduction for the noise level, even though everyone was actually just talking at a reasonable volume. We will continue to enjoy eating here.

The food tastes good. The service can be improved and the ambience is a disaster. The restaurant is loud and has no Greek flair. From ordering to serving the food took over an hour and was between warm and lukewarm. Update 3/25 If you want to stay there longer you have zero chance. Drinks come pretty quickly, the starter and salad at the same time and the main course comes what feels like 5 minutes later. Reordering drinks is already a punishable offense. At some point you will be made aware that other guests have also made reservations and they will be provocatively placed at the table. This restaurant is getting worse and becoming more of a mass processing facility. A visit is no longer recommended.

I traveled from a bit far to eat at Syrtaki, one of my friends suggested about it as I love Greek food. Very delicious food, friendly staff and such an authentic greek place! I had a very welcoming greeting, the waitress was so nice. The food came very quickly and big portions as well! Definitely will visit again!

Update: The food has become very, very bad...absolute catastrophe...and the previously friendly staff is no longer so good. We were there last time… Unfortunately the waiting time is too long. Waited 1:30 for food. Completely overwhelmed but at least friendly waiters. It's a shame, we were disappointed. Food wasn't particularly good and very manageable. People constantly tried to apologize with ouzo…..but not helpful for drivers…. You had to go in to pay because no one came to the table anymore…. We won't be coming back here any time soon.

Today we ate here again after a long time. There was always good, tasty food here, but today it wasn't good at all. There was only one table occupied when we arrived, then about 10 more people came. Despite the low number of guests, the food was cold (despite the dish being overbaked). All 3 dishes weren't really warm. We complained about the one dish that was extremely cold. It came back after about 15 minutes and everyone else had finished eating. It wasn't really hot, but it tasted good. The gyro dish at our table, well it was sliced ​​pork with no seasoning. Really disappointed what has become of the wonderful Greek

We were very sad... We sat in the so-called “winter garden”. We sat at the table with our winter jackets on as it was very cold. Our drinks arrived after 45 minutes and our food after 2 hours (upon request, as the children were already sick from hunger at 9 p.m.). It's a shame…..the staff tried very hard despite that…..unfortunately we know the Syrtaki differently!!!

I have the feeling that things are getting worse with each visit. We are sitting at the table and the waitress asks what we want, 3 minutes later the next waiter comes and asks again what we want, we said it has already been ordered. The first drink comes quickly, after the second I had to ask 3 times. The food I ordered wasn't complete (not the first time) the rest came 5 minutes later, we didn't have any cutlery either. We were sitting near the counter and I noticed that several guests were asking where their food was. Then we wanted to pay, the waiter disappeared with our voucher and didn't come back. We had to call the next waiter again after 15 minutes. He then came to us and said that we shouldn't stress (they also had 200 guests). Everything is very chaotic, the waiters cause a lot of unrest in the restaurant, another waiter constantly comes to our table. The conclusion is, we will look for a different Greek restaurant.

Very nicely located location. Great seating outside, but it must have been very cold today. The guests all streamed into the restaurant, which was very full. Today we only got ouzo as a welcome... and that was it. It's a shame that this service is now very limited. Has the ouzo become too expensive? It was with great pleasure that we went to our favorite Greek restaurant... unfortunately neither the food nor the service was what we were used to there. The bill at the end also had errors (there were 3 more drinks on it that we hadn't ordered). Conclusion: it was the last time we were there.

We were here for the first time and thought it was great. We found out that a Greek buffet was offered. And I've always wanted to try something like that. Because then you can eat a little bit of each. Because Greek food is simply delicious and I can never decide :) Great atmosphere, especially decorated with beautiful fairy lights in winter. Nice location, the food was great and the service was great too. We were also able to get to know the super nice waiters and the boss and had a quick chat We'd love to come back there.

We were here again on Christmas Day. Unfortunately we were very disappointed. The menu was very small and the food also lost a lot of quality. Unfortunately I have to deduct a star for the ambience. The restaurant is divided into two rooms. One facing the forest pool and one facing the street. Since the restaurant hasn't been around for that long, it's not completely finished yet. The room for the forest bath is already finished and has a Greek flair. Unfortunately, the room facing the street had to wait due to Corona. Nevertheless, it is clean and you can eat well. It didn't bother us. We had a very nice evening and would love to come back.

We were here on Boxing Day 2024. Unfortunately, none of the regular employees were there anymore. The people who now call themselves owners are probably neither chefs, waiters nor waiters. The food came after 1.5 hours even though the place wasn't full. Drinks were only available upon arrival, otherwise after repeated requests for a waiter to come and take drinks orders. The food wasn't seasoned, there was no trace of it being typically Greek. Completely overwhelming the alleged owners. But the payoff was where the hammer came. Apparently card payment wouldn't work. You're supposed to pay in cash, so we scraped together the cash and paid. We asked for the bill several times, but unfortunately no one thought it was possible to bring it to us. So I went to the “supposed” boss and was handed a receipt that was already in the trash, well. Another customer was already standing by the “boss” and complaining, you can think what you want, but “cash payment without a receipt?” For us this restaurant is now history, unfortunately. 🤔

We visited the restaurant on Boxing Day 2024 and unfortunately we didn't have to experience the usual picture. The menu is kept drastically small, we had ordered a garlic bread special which could not contain any garlic and if we complained it would unfortunately only result in talk. We hope that this doesn't become the norm as we enjoyed eating here.

What happened here? Cheapest unrollable paper tablecloths on the table. A drastically reduced menu with 10 main courses, no more lamb, beef and liver among other things. There is only one grill plate left on offer. Taste and service weren't good either. Has there been a change of operator here? Prices were of course also increased significantly.

Unfortunately very disappointing today 😕 there was only a small card on December 25th. which was not mentioned when ordering a table. The bread was not fresh and the garlic bread was extremely dry. The main courses came to the table because the starter plates had not yet been cleared away. Generally very disappointing for a holiday.

We had our food on the table within 30 minutes (from the time we were greeted). I had grilled pork with mushroom sauce and fries. It was very very tasty. We'll go again. And the price-performance ratio is top. Large portions for a good price. We didn't pay more than €52 for 2 dishes, 3 drinks and 1 dessert. Large restaurant with an extra hall and large terrace. Nice view of the forest pool. Friendly and quick service. Large selection of food and drinks. Very happy again. 👍🏻😊

October 14, 2024 The first review was a year ago. It was still nice there. Now the starters are brought to the table in stages for six people. The last starter came right along with the main course. I immediately noticed that a new chef was at work. The Rolla (25) were so thickly breaded that they barely tasted good. The baked chicken breast fillet was well done but chewed like raw vegetables...very strange. Even if you say that you don't want to take the rest of the plate with you because it didn't taste good, you get the disposable packaging put on the table. The service is extremely disorganized.

New cuisine, which unfortunately you can also taste. The liver was completely burnt, which you could even taste in the metaxa sauce and totally toe.
