New owners? The pizzeria was apparently taken over by two North Africans. I was asked for more money than was later on the bill. When asked, it was said that the onions were not included in the bill for a pizza. That was true, but for a mini portion of onion on the salami pizza (they ordered pepperoni salami - they probably didn't have it) they charged €3.50!
That's why I was here for the last time unfortunately :)
Pizza tuna was really terrible. Not only did it look strange, it also smelled strange, as if the tuna was no longer good. It's a shame about the money. We definitely won't be ordering here anymore.
🌅 Ambience
The ambiance at the Bootshaus Mainz is simply fantastic – especially in good weather. You sit right by the water, enjoy a great view, and enjoy a very pleasant atmosphere. A place to feel good!
🤝 Service
The service is very friendly and attentive. We did have to wait a bit longer during our visit, which is a slight deduction, but overall the impression was very positive and courteous.
🍽️ Food
The food was consistently excellent – absolutely top-notch in terms of quality, taste, and preparation. This restaurant clearly deserves 5 stars. You can tell that the cooking is done with love and skill.
💰 Value for Money
The Bootshaus is on the higher end of the price range, but considering the high quality, it's absolutely fairly priced. If you're looking for good food in a great atmosphere, you definitely can't go wrong here.
✅ Conclusion
An all-round successful visit – great food, great atmosphere, friendly service. We'd be happy to go back anytime!
We went to the restaurant with our family (4 people). Mondays are always schnitzel day there. All schnitzels are offered there for €8.50 including salad, fries or croquettes.
The service is friendly & attentive. The food is good. The other dishes on the menu are also recommended. Unfortunately I can't say anything about the hotel.
