Incredibly incompetent service, overwhelmed by just three occupied tables. It took 20 minutes for us to get our menus, then another 20 minutes for our orders to be taken. Not to mention the subsequent spilling of drinks and, finally, the incorrect bill. At least the burgers are delicious, albeit relatively expensive.

Unfortunately disappointed. We were there about two years ago, and it was better. We were the only customers, and the service was overwhelmed. They brought us the wrong burger and forgot the fries.

It has the potential to be really good. The burger buns are really good. The meat is nice and soft. However, it's completely lacking in flavor. I've never eaten such a bland burger. And I've tried a lot of good burgers. Simply adding a little salt would improve the burger enormously. Grilled or roasted flavors were also completely lacking. But the price-performance ratio of the side dishes is truly amazing. A really small bag of potato wedges with a tiny bowl of sour cream goes for a whopping €7.90 😃. Just potato wedges with dip. Wow. I would have expected at least a decent portion for that. The burger prices are okay, though. So, with a little salt, it would have been recommended.

We were there on Saturday afternoon and were overall satisfied with our visit. The service was very friendly, the burgers (all four) were amazing (10 out of 10)! The fries, however, weren't particularly tasty; the sweet potato fries were okay, but not outstanding. And the food could have come a bit faster, as there wasn't a single order before us, and yet we still had to wait quite a while. Overall, though, a solid 4 stars.

The service was very attentive, calm, and friendly. The Smash & Dash Burger was freshly prepared, but consisted mostly of the bun, which was very fluffy and delicious. It tasted like McDonald's.

I was there with a friend and our two small children on a rather chilly, rainy day. My friend had been there before, so they chose this restaurant. The burgers were good; there was nothing to complain about. There's at least a high chair for small children, but no changing facilities in the restrooms, which is pretty standard in many restaurants these days. Unfortunately, this proved to be my downfall, because my daughter's diaper leaked, meaning her clothes were already wet and needed to be changed. I went outside with my daughter under the gazebo (where it was already windy and cold), as far away from other guests as possible, so I could deal with this "emergency" quickly. Then an employee (or was it the owner/owner's son?) came up to me, very upset, and reprimanded me, saying I couldn't do that. In a situation like that, it was quite humiliating, and the employee's reaction was beyond disrespectful. When I asked what else I should do in such a situation, the only response I got was a cheeky one, saying he didn't care and should just leave. I don't know if the female employees would have treated me the same way, but that's just unacceptable. If there aren't any diaper-changing facilities on-site, they could have at least offered some kind of assistance (which I've experienced in several locations). Conclusion: Never again! My friend, who recommended the store to me, won't be setting foot in there again either!

We've always enjoyed ordering or eating in, but unfortunately, the service is getting so bad that even the best burger can't make up for it anymore. Online orders supposedly don't arrive, even though you received a confirmation. Instead of apologizing and taking your order, you're ignored. Phone orders fail because you're forgotten on the phone; subsequent calls are answered only to be immediately hung up. Since messages about complaints don't respond, that's it for us.

Never again and not recommended! We got fries for the kids. We didn't expect such bad fries for €4.60. The portions are small, but that wasn't a problem. The fries were completely inedible and some were burnt. It was as if they'd refried yesterday's old fries in oil. Unfortunately, they ended up in the trash. I would have loved to return everything to the store and demand my money back.

Tried the place for the first time. I was truly amazed at how delicious the burgers were. The patty wasn't too tightly packed, and the bun was fluffy. The fries were well-salted, crispy, and not too dark. Truly GREAT! Approximately €15 for a burger is standard in the area these days, so it's okay. With fries included in the menu, €18.50 with a drink, a bit more. It's also very nice that they still accept orders 30-40 minutes before closing time 👍🏼

The food was okay, but at €80 for four people, each with a burger, three fries, and a soft drink, it was way too expensive. The burger toppings were also very limited. They should consider switching to self-service. It's a true miracle that the cards weren't thrown from the counter onto the table, as was the case when the drinks were placed. The one server who was "serving" probably would have preferred to chat with the other two. Sorry, not a second time.

It was my first time there and I was immediately impressed: The Big Smash Burger was truly delicious, the fries crispy and fresh – just as they should be. Friendly service, relaxed atmosphere. One small request for next time: A cleaning wipe after the meal would be the icing on the cake. I'll be back!

And props to your driver, super friendly, everything went smoothly! But honestly, the fun ends with the burger itself. In terms of taste and quality, at least when I order, I repeat, you are miles behind the competition. Why did I do something wrong with me? And that's putting it nicely. The burgers advertised in the photos have absolutely nothing in common with mine. Unfortunately, for the price, it was just incredibly disappointing. I'm giving you this honest feedback because I like the approach, but there definitely needs to be more to the product, otherwise it'll just be this one attempt. We had to wait more than two hours for the food to arrive. When I called the first time they said 5 minutes, the second time I called them they told me 20 although 40 minutes were already passed from my first call. No-one said sorry for the inconvenience neither at the phone or the delivery guy. I give two stars and not 1 just because the food was ok.

I've been to burgerliebling a few times now, and I'm impressed every time! The burgers are simply amazing – super juicy meat, fresh ingredients, and perfectly balanced sauces. You can tell the love goes into making them. And the fries? Crispy, golden brown, and deliciously seasoned. What makes this place even better, though, is the team. The staff was incredibly friendly, attentive, and really made an effort to make us feel comfortable. You can tell that not only good food but also good service is a priority here. For me, this is definitely one of the best places for burgers in Mainz – I'll definitely be back!

Buns that are much too big and empty and dry for the meat. The taste was okay, nothing special. Lots of airy buns, hardly any content. Not eating enough for the price. Everyone was still hungry afterwards. The restaurant was actually quite nicely decorated, but everyone froze because it was too cold.

I had an extremely negative experience with Burgerliebling's delivery service today! On Mombacher Straße in Mainz I was cut off twice by one of their drivers, which almost resulted in an accident. That alone is irresponsible, but it got even worse: After I pointed out to the driver that his behavior was dangerous, he yelled at me from his car through the open window instead of apologizing for his reckless behavior. A completely unacceptable and threatening reaction! I can't believe that a company employs drivers who behave so aggressively in traffic and intimidate other people. If you can't expect orders to arrive safely and on time, you should at least expect your drivers not to endanger other road users. I will definitely never order from here again and can only advise everyone to avoid it too!

Mistakes happen, but the way you handled my case is really not right: - I wrote an email asking you to take a look at it --> No answer - I called --> The lady on the phone wrote a note for the boss - no further response - I ended up going to the store on site. Here again a piece of paper was written with my order number, name and phone number --> Again no response received Ultimately I had to contact my bank and dispute the direct debit. Now I have my money back... That was definitely my last order from Burgerliebling Update: The return transfer failed. I should contact Burgerfavorite --> Burger favorite still owes me €30 to this day

Burgerfavorite is a real insider tip in Mainz! 🍔 The burgers are super fresh, well topped and taste really great. I particularly liked the cheeseburger – simply perfectly balanced. The fries (also the sweet potato version) were nice and crispy and the portions were absolutely sufficient. The location right next to the Volkspark is great – ideal if you want to grab something delicious to eat after a walk or bike ride. 🌳 The atmosphere is relaxed and the service was friendly and quick. Overall, a great address for burger fans in Mainz. I'll definitely be back!

Nice atmosphere and staff, but I asked for ketchup and sauce and they charged me 3 euro for it without telling me. They also didn’t combo my drink because it wasn’t the proper sofa and didn’t tell me. Burger and fries cost me 21 euro in the end? On paper it was supposed to be 15 euro . I live nearby, but now I’m hesitant to go back.

No trace of chili spiciness, the patty is far too thin, bland and dry in relation to the bun. €12.90 is too expensive for this burger. Frits frozen fries from the Metro, at the proud price of €4.90 per portion. Overall value for money 4- Toilets so-so, lid of the trash can dirty and stained, no soap in the dispenser. Cobwebs in some corners. How often do you check/clean your toilets? I don't want to know what the kitchen looks like... All in all, no recommendation from me!

I order regularly and usually there are no problems and it is always delicious. But this time the wrong drink was delivered, which was a stale cola with hardly any carbonation, it's not that crazy, that can happen sometimes. But after I found two hairs, once in the fries and once in the burger, it was over. Paid so much and couldn't eat it. No idea what was going on today, but really extremely annoying.
