We spent a wonderful 14 day vacation there

We stumbled upon "Käthe & Karl" by chance. Even without a reservation, we got a wonderful seat (there were two of us). The food was incredibly good and worth every cent.

The price-performance ratio doesn't quite match. The burger was great, but too expensive. Likewise the pasta in cream sauce (which was certainly made in-house) 👌 Unfortunately the pesto was missing. The service was great! If you look past the ants on the table and a smeared tablecloth, it's a loving, beautifully decorated place. We'll definitely try it again. Probably a popular place with locals.

The restaurant in Dornum, even if there is only one these days. Not only for us, but also for our holiday guests, it is always a pleasure to order here. More is picked up in the high season. In the off-season you can also sit comfortably in the restaurant. For those who have ever been on holiday in the Asian region, certain dishes will bring back fond memories. Having a restaurant in town is important. Thanks to all.

Definitely the best pizza north of Italy

Eating as the host feels like, always feeling like nothing. To drink a beer and then leave quickly, ok, otherwise good for nothing.

Während unseres zweitägigen Aufenthalts an der Nordsee kehrten wir abends im Restaurant Zum Alten Siel ein und wurden nicht enttäuscht. Das Personal war freundlich und aufmerksam, die Preise fair, und die Speisen von hervorragender Qualität. Alles in allem ein gelungener Abschluss für einen schönen Tag an der Küste. Wir können das Zum Alten Siel definitiv weiterempfehlen und würden bei unserem nächsten Besuch an der Nordsee gerne wieder vorbeischauen!

Great restaurant. We always enjoy coming here.

Very cozy, friendly and super delicious food. In my opinion, value for money is super good, plenty of well-filled plates. We loved eating there. It's also great that dogs can come along.

Great food, great food. And very nice atmosphere...

Service was very nice (I've never had such nice service). Restaurant very nicely decorated. We were there with ten people and without a reservation. Everyone enjoyed the food. I personally had a pizza and it was also very tasty. In the end we paid €144 for ten people.

Super tasty pizza, nice service. Only three stars for the ambience because the seating is right on the main street.

Very good pizza and lasagna as well

Rustic restaurant. To feel good. Nice service and reasonable prices. We will definitely be visiting there regularly. We were very satisfied and can only recommend the visit.
