It was fantastic. A wonderful breakfast buffet with a wide selection of sweet and savory dishes. Everything was so lovingly prepared, and the atmosphere was so cozy. The owner is incredibly caring and kind. We would come back anytime and can only recommend this wonderful restaurant to anyone who is nearby.

A quaint café with a lovely ambiance and truly excellent cakes. The selection isn't huge, but the quality is excellent. The staff is friendly, and the service is generally decent. Prices are mid-range. Not exactly cheap, but still fair for the quality. If you love cakes and are looking for a relaxing break, this is the place to be.

A place where you can unwind and relax. Super fresh, incredibly delicious, and appealing food. The service is fresh and Nordic, and always ready with a dry joke. Highly recommended! On Fridays, there's a delicious buffet with fish, meat, and salad until you're bursting. The Saturday/Sunday breakfast buffet and the à la carte breakfast during the week are also highly recommended. Great East Frisian restaurant whether for breakfast, lunch or dinner

A real insider tip! Quaint little café and restaurant! We had Frisian tea and Frisian cake! Simply divine! The absolute highlight was the medieval festival with suckling pig dinner! Great supporting program and super friendly hosts! We felt very comfortable and will cherish our stay forever!

I've rarely had such a bad breakfast. The cheapest mini rolls, and the Nutella, jam, and cream cheese were presented with total disregard. For a hefty €13.50, they didn't even include a coffee. The boiled egg was forgotten, and instead of an apology, I received the unfriendly reply that it had been mixed into my daughter's scrambled eggs. ???? The ambiance has potential, but unfortunately, it's just full of cobwebs and not very clean. I absolutely cannot recommend the breakfast! For that money, you can have a good and delicious lunch or a much, much better breakfast!

The ambiance was very rustic, with chipped dishes and a tablecloth that wasn't entirely clean. No breakfast buffet, even though it was the weekend. Instead, a simple cold cuts platter, no fruit, yogurt, or muesli, and orange juice was charged extra. At €22.50 per person, breakfast was overpriced.

We wanted to have breakfast here and were full... However, the rolls felt like they came from a discount store and were only half-baked. The croissant, on the other hand, had been in the oven for so long that it completely crumbled when we bit into it. The toppings on the rolls were okay. It's a shame, we expected something different for the price. Especially since the coffee was extra. The ambiance, however, was already decorated and had a vintage feel. We won't be having breakfast there again, though.

Great café for breakfast or cake time. They probably also serve dinner, but I haven't tried that yet. Everything is very relaxed and family-friendly. Friendly service, and the breakfast is really filling.

We saw it while driving by and pulled over. We ate delicious fried fish with fried potatoes. Since we all had fish, homemade fish fingers and fries for our little one were a must. We sat outside in a very comfortable, sheltered spot and enjoyed a lovely break.

We held our wedding dinner here. It was more than just excellent. The table was lovingly set, as was the food—we had fish in various variations and types, with super-tasty sauces, salad, vegetables, a delicious tomato soup to start with, and dessert afterward—everything was absolutely delicious! The service was attentive and everyone was friendly! There were six of us there with two dogs, and everyone was very satisfied. Many thanks again to Ute and the team for the wonderful celebration. We'll be back. Oh, and not to forget, the prices were really 👍 👍 👍

We've been eating there every year for the past three years during our family vacation. We always receive a very warm welcome and attentive service. All the food is freshly prepared, and we (6 adults and one child) always enjoyed it immensely. The value for money is absolutely excellent.

Tagliatelle with salmon 🐟 And the burger 🍔 Before that, a crab soup 🦐 and a potato soup – which was too thin for me personally! Unclean tables, prices too high, not comparable to other cafes in and around Dornum!

The price-performance ratio doesn't quite match. The burger was great, but too expensive. Likewise the pasta in cream sauce (which was certainly made in-house) 👌 Unfortunately the pesto was missing. The service was great! If you look past the ants on the table and a smeared tablecloth, it's a loving, beautifully decorated place. We'll definitely try it again. Probably a popular place with locals.

We recently ate at Café Kluntje-Pott for a family celebration. A burger buffet was served by arrangement: no matter whether sauces, side dishes, buns, patties: everything was delicious and absolutely high quality!!! Many thanks to the nice team for the lovely evening! We always like to come back!

We went to the North Sea for a short weekend. Three out of three days we experienced a wonderful atmosphere, loving service and incredibly honest and wonderful food! Addendum 2024: Unfortunately, the above recession can no longer be confirmed: Our visit was more than disappointing - it was really very dirty, the prices have risen from, for example, €21.00 to almost €30.00, but the quality and taste are less good. We became aware of the Kluntje pot through the geocaching community. And we weren't disappointed. The gooseberry meringue cake is sooo delicious! According to my father, the crab soup was very, very good. and a relaxed Ostfiesen tea ceremony. Heart and palate, what more could you want. Yes, come on, there's something else...the service (boss?) TOP! Frisian friendly, warm, only the YOU in the salutation. No matter when we get close again. We'll definitely be back! By the way, it should be briefly mentioned that there is a small shopping corner with jam, honey, etc. at the entrance and exit. After trying them at home, we weren't disappointed with the products on offer either!

Just visited 4 days ago. Really a very, very cozy, rustic restaurant. Very courteous, nice staff. Great selection of food and drinks. We were looking forward to really great herring with fried potatoes. Simply enjoy typical food in East Frisia. But then we were 😞 disappointed. The taste was okay But the fried potatoes were fried little cubes, not homemade and completely overpriced for the portion. We went home hungry and ate some pretzel sticks. It's a real shame, we were so happy to be able to eat a real, nice, original East Frisian specialty.

Were there today. Everything was very tasty and nice atmosphere. We took cake home with us because we were full after the good portion. Here too it can be said that the cake was exceptionally good. Will come more often now.

Delicious We were there for lunch and ate cake, there was a nice selection and the cakes and tarts were very tasty. Happy and excited, we decided to have dinner there too (note: only open until 7 p.m.). A large selection of dishes for small and large appetites. Tarte flambée, pasta and kale are all very tasty. I can recommend everyone to stop by there, whether for tea, coffee & cake, whether you're hungry or big... it's worth it!!
