We stumbled upon "Käthe & Karl" by chance. Even without a reservation, we got a wonderful seat (there were two of us). The food was incredibly good and worth every cent.

Definitely the best pizza north of Italy

I came across a live music event by chance and thought I'd check it out to start my vacation. The band (Hard to Explain) was great, and the atmosphere was also super cozy. The menu includes unusual drinks such as mead and moonshine liqueur. There are also little things to eat that taste delicious, like currywurst with homemade sauce and gluten-free chocolate chip slices. Carina and Pierre are open and relaxed and if you are just as open and relaxed you will quickly make friends and be warmly welcomed. Let me tell you one thing: the best place is at the counter. Go and order a Guinnes or a mead and have a good time there. I'd love to come back... in the fall! Go raibh maith agat.

Während unseres zweitägigen Aufenthalts an der Nordsee kehrten wir abends im Restaurant Zum Alten Siel ein und wurden nicht enttäuscht. Das Personal war freundlich und aufmerksam, die Preise fair, und die Speisen von hervorragender Qualität. Alles in allem ein gelungener Abschluss für einen schönen Tag an der Küste. Wir können das Zum Alten Siel definitiv weiterempfehlen und würden bei unserem nächsten Besuch an der Nordsee gerne wieder vorbeischauen!

Hello, Yesterday I ate one of your infamous funnel kebabs and was convinced by it, the taste was good, a bit dry and I would like more sauce, and I would also like more meat from the rotisserie. I can recommend it, but next time I'd rather go to Ömer Dömer

The food initially came wrong. The service was not very accommodating. The cutter plaice was served without lemon. Potatoes were like they came from the cafeteria. So the food is pretty mediocre. We didn't get the table of our choice.

We wanted to enjoy a family meal with 11 people. The service was very good. The food was well received - especially by the children. However, the price-performance ratio did not meet our expectations. Far too expensive, even at the sea. 0.5 l beer 6.30 €, tzatziki with dry bread flatbreads 7.90 €, children's fish fingers 9.90 €. . . 3 drinks were overcharged. It's a shame, we'll try somewhere else soon.

Were here today for the 3rd time in a week, the food is high quality and varied and everything is very tasty, the service is super nice and accommodating. The portions are large and nicely prepared.

The prices are in good proportion to the performance. We will definitely go there again and can only recommend the restaurant.

Cozy restaurant with very friendly service. I chose mussels and was not disappointed in the taste or quantity. Very original idea, the mussels were served in a small blue metal bucket, and a small red bucket was used for the empty shells.
