Two delicious Bismark herring rolls and two 0.5l Alster beer for €25.60—quite a price. The staff were very friendly and attentive.

The food wasn't even lukewarm. The conservatory where we sat wasn't heated. The appetizer was delicious, but that was it. We wouldn't go there again.

It was cold in the attached conservatory; there was no heating, so you had to sit with your jacket on, which was very uncomfortable. The starter was delicious, but the main course was cold, and the fish was not seasoned.

The price-performance ratio here isn't right. A waffle about 10 x 17cm, a dollop of whipped cream (some hot chocolates have more), which costs €1, 8 cherries with thickened juice (lukewarm/not hot), and a small scoop of ice cream cost €9.50. It could have been significantly larger. A glass of malt beer 0.3 = €4.50. Service was very fast.

This was our first time here and certainly won't be the last time we're in the area again. The ambiance is modern, bright, and inviting. The winter garden has a special flair, especially in autumn. The staff is very pleasant and attentive. Friendly and prompt service completes the picture. The food itself was not only quickly prepared and brought to the table, but was and still is very tasty. Simply delicious. Zum Alten Hafen is highly recommended and should definitely be tried. Therefore, a full five stars in all categories. We'd be happy to go back and please keep up the good work!

We spent a week in Neßmersiel. The food at this restaurant is incredibly good. The service was extremely friendly and accommodating. Prices are reasonable. The interior and exterior are very clean and well-maintained. We would definitely come back.

We ordered the fish platter, and I haven't eaten such good, fresh fish in a long time. Perfectly cooked, super fast, and reasonably priced 👍🏻I'd gladly come again.

For us, the food was a bitter disappointment in relation to the price. The fish dishes seemed significantly overpriced and tasted far below our expectations – especially on the coast, we had definitely hoped for more freshness and quality. The salad and fries were okay, but the main dish, the fish, was consistently disappointing for our group. Considering the prices, we found the overall offering to be outrageously poor.

A dining experience where everything came together perfectly. Unplanned, "stranded" here on a hike, I was treated to an incredibly delicious salad with a generous portion of flatbread. The price/performance ratio wasn't right. Six of us ordered different dishes, and everything was too salty. We had to wait an hour for our food. I have to admit, though, that the ice cream was delicious, and the fact that dogs are allowed is also a plus.

We waited 1.5 hours for our food. After just 30 minutes, the waiter mentioned that the food would be right there. However, he was more preoccupied with more or less funny jokes than with his job and had apparently forgotten to give our order to the kitchen. When we asked, they admitted they'd forgotten and that the food was being prepared right away. It arrived promptly, but with the wrong side of the fish dishes. We kept the fries so we didn't have to wait any longer. Unfortunately, the quality wasn't convincing either: frozen schnitzel, sour tomato sauce with 5 frozen prawns—well, tourist food, you know. But the fish was pretty cheeky—a frozen plaice with half a slice of tomato, a slice of cucumber, a lettuce leaf, and a raw onion ring for €27. That's just unacceptable. We were told they'd try to make it up to us with a drink, but all they offered was a shot of schnapps on the house (for two adults and three children). I'm a professional myself; that's not how the restaurant industry works. We won't be coming back.

We'd actually only stopped there for a drink. We had a lovely table outside. However, when the aroma of food wafted over from the next table, we decided to order a crab omelet and fried eggs with crab. We were absolutely thrilled with these. Generous portions with plenty of crab and (the photo doesn't capture this) fried potatoes "just like mom used to make." Knowing what North Sea crab currently costs, we didn't think the price of €19.90 was excessive. It was a real treat and, in my opinion, "highly recommended." Thank you so much for that...

The food consisted of ready-made products and was, unfortunately, almost inedible. It's incredibly expensive there, which is questionable given the quality of the food. Not recommended.

A very nice place to dine! However, the more guests, the less likely you'll get the food you ordered. Upselling is a regular practice. Overall, an expensive, mixed experience.

Unfortunately, in our opinion, this restaurant is definitely not recommended. The food is of low quality and quite overpriced. Furthermore, they serve almost exclusively ready-made products. How anyone on the coast can offer frozen fried fish from a well-known four-letter brand without feeling guilty is beyond me.

So I had to go in myself to point out that they'd made a €50 mistake in the change. I don't want to imply any intention, but charging €50 is pretty steep 🤣 They sincerely apologized, so let's just leave it at that. The quality of the sandwiches is poor. They're the kind you'd find in packs of four at every supermarket, and the fried fish tastes like it came from the Kaufland freezer...€7.50 per sandwich is pretty steep. All in all, I wouldn't recommend it 🤷

Quite nice. We had a nice time sitting at the table in a beach chair on the terrace. The food is also good. The restrooms are a bit of a challenge, as they're very small and cramped. Instead of building two fireplaces, one large one would have been better. Otherwise, quite clean, but not suitable for people with disabilities. Free parking is available for restaurant visits.

Highly recommended, although the restaurateur, like other restaurateurs in this area, spoke of arbitrary government action, rip-offs, obstruction of business, and even the need for closure. This is consistent with the impression in the area that the administration works for someone other than the citizens. Not for the guests, and apparently not for the business-minded restaurateurs either. There was even talk of the mayor abusing his office for his own benefit. I can't confirm this, of course, but I'd like to mention it.

We ordered five takeaway pizzas from this restaurant – and unfortunately, it was a complete disaster. Two of the pizzas were missing the extra topping, which we had, of course, paid for. Unfortunately, we only noticed it when we got home. Apart from that, all the pizzas were a bitter disappointment: quite small, completely tasteless, and of poor quality. The dough was bland and tasted as if the pizzas had been sitting around somewhere for a while. Almost any frozen pizza tastes better (at least to us). The value for money here is completely out of this world. For what we got, the amount we had to pay was simply outrageous. We will definitely not order again – and we can't recommend this restaurant to anyone. Very disappointing!

The atmosphere was good, but the food was reheated and not worth a penny. The grill plate consisted of four reheated chicken steaks, and the pizza was only half-cooked. We were promised gyros from a spit, but it was some cheap pan-fried gyro reheated from the day before. The whole family had a stomach ache afterward. €150 for nothing.

Rarely have I seen such a rip-off. After ordering drinks, we were asked whether we would like to drink a Friesengeist, a specialty from northern Germany, before eating. We say yes, we get a delicious Frisian spirit. Then the next question was whether we would like some bread and tzakti, again without a single hint that this would cost anything extra. We already thought this about bread. I can't say anything about the food, but the prices were fair too. When paying, it was a rip-off, the bread cost almost 10 euros, not a reasonable price, but it wasn't that high. I paid €4.40 per shot glass, as I said without any indication that it would cost. It was presented as if it were a greeting from the house. I'm really mad at this rip-off. Such a weak way to take money out of my pocket. The store will never see me again

We wanted to enjoy a family meal with 11 people. The service was very good. The food was well received - especially by the children. However, the price-performance ratio did not meet our expectations. Far too expensive, even at the sea. 0.5 l beer 6.30 €, tzatziki with dry bread flatbreads 7.90 €, children's fish fingers 9.90 €. . . 3 drinks were overcharged.
