Tulipano in Dornum

One star is definitely too many. I've never had such bad lasagna. Rubber noodles, rubber cheese, bechamel not seasoned at all, minced beef was ok, unfortunately everything was burnt from the bottom (had ordered to be picked up). Unfortunately the pizzas weren't great either. Base too thick, sweet dough, topping not really tasty. To break the habit of pizza and pasta, to be honest, every frozen product tastes better.

We stopped there as part of our vacation. Service was very polite and quick. Bruschetta and pizza so-so to be honest. A little more flavor and less cheese and pizza 2x very black from the bottom. A matter of taste. Drinks are a bit expensive in comparison. The menu is certainly very extensive - perhaps it would be good for the kitchen to concentrate on one focus and not want to offer "everything". The atmosphere on the terrace is also not very comfortable. All in all, not bad - but not something you would necessarily want to go to again - you could do more with it.

One portion of noodles tasted like pure Maggi. The other noodles had no taste at all. The pizza was pale and needed a few more minutes in the oven. The service was friendly, as you would expect. The prices are far too high for the poor quality food.

There were six of us there. The food was really great. The service was very good. The restaurant was also very busy What I don't like is that in this day and age, when everyone pays without cash, you can only pay with cash. You couldn't spontaneously decide to go out to eat there.

We were thrilled, the atmosphere was right, the dishes and the service were top. We had the grill plate with salad and fries for €20.00 and the liver in garlic sauce with mushrooms and fries for €20.90. The plates were both sufficient and the meat was nicely grilled but still juicy. The service was very attentive and courteous, we felt very comfortable. Unfortunately, there is one point of criticism: when you sit on the beautiful, wind-protected terrace, a rush of gas (possibly from the grill) often passes by and if there had been smokers on the terrace (tables are set accordingly), we would probably have suffocated or would have suffocated We felt so comfortable whether we were sitting inside or outside - but we were lucky and there were no smokers at the time we visited. Very good value for money, would love to come back. Dog friendly, wheelchair accessible

The Tulipano is definitely recommended. I haven't eaten such good spaghetti Napoli for a long time. But all the other dishes were absolutely fantastic. Furthermore, the staff was very friendly and helpful. Always my pleasure....

We were there for dinner. Conditions were nice and helpful. Unfortunately, it gives the impression that people are trying to get through crowds here. The food was ok. Unfortunately, the spice was generally missing. It's best to point this out when ordering. I would also like to emphasize the hospitality towards children and dogs

Since we also ate here on our last vacation, we were happy to come back. We were served drinks and food very quickly, the food was excellent, fast service, the location on the dam, worth seeing and there was also time for a nice conversation with the owner. Antipasti plate super tasty. Ordered 3x grill plates, meat unfortunately everything was way too fatty, steak was no longer ok, chicken was grilled to death, fries were soggy. It's a shame about so much money! We don't come here to eat anymore.

We ate pizza, pasta and the tulipano plate. Unfortunately, the pizza was already missing salt in the dough, so unfortunately it didn't really taste like much with seasoning. Super nice staff. The prices are good, as are the portions. We got something twice in a week and the children were super happy. Of course the adults really enjoyed it too. All of the food can also be ordered to take away and I think that's great, especially when the children are too tired to go to the restaurant. We will definitely eat here again on our next vacation.

We were there on a Sunday afternoon in July. The food was very good, both in terms of quality and quantity. My wife enjoyed a vegetarian pizza and I enjoyed a meal with several types of meat. Both were excellent. The service was very friendly and attentive without being intrusive. We will definitely stop there again on our next visit to the coast!

The only good thing I remember is actually the service. The price-performance ratio would have been good if the food had been tolerable, but my stomach ache really tormented me for the rest of the day and no, I don't have any allergies etc. I would have preferred to have been able to cook something myself and that's not why I eat out.

We had dinner with our children at the Pizzeria Ristorante Tulipano. Short and sweet. Everyone really enjoyed it. The service deserves special praise. Super friendly, quick and always with the guest in mind so that they can immediately respond to any requests. Top ambience with a beautiful covered terrace. Tulipano definitely a recommendation!

We had ordered pizza. We were amazed at how quickly it was served; it must have been pre-made pizza dough. But they were very well filled and tasted good too! We should have skipped ordering the tiramisu. Pure convenience goods that just tasted soggy, a shame. The quiet location is nice, the service staff was very nice. The terrace is also spacious and covered.

Unfortunately not recommended at all, I had a dish with different meat, everything was very fatty and not particularly tasty. The fries were okay. There was also no matching tzatziki or any other sauce. I wouldn't recommend anyone to eat there. The other dishes were also horrible...

We ate there 3 times with my wife, 2 times we were very happy with the food and 3 times my wife's food wasn't good, the asparagus wasn't peeled properly, the fish was full of bones and the fried potatoes were very greasy. My wife didn't eat much of it and also said what was wrong with the food. I know restaurants that take the food off the menu if it wasn't good. There was nothing here, will never eat there again.

While walking I came across this restaurant. We were actually going to have a drink... but decided to eat something anyway. We were received very warmly. The food and drinks came very quickly, the food was very tasty! We had a great time. The waitress was very sweet to our children. Thank you!!

We ordered a few dishes to pick up. Given the prices, we actually expected good food, but even my brother, who would otherwise eat out of a garbage can and has no other expectations in life, unfortunately can't recommend it. The pizzas were okay (apart from their amazing flying skills, but that's not the topic here), but we didn't even recognize the "pizza rolls" as such, as they were actually just a sandwich, spread with a little herb butter, and more unfilled round dry pizza dough. Unfortunately, the portion of fries for €4 wasn't even enough for the child. The portion of noodles was actually large enough. Overall, we were really disappointed for the price and so we'll consider it a one-off visit. Well, I didn't think it was that great this time, food Max 1.2 points out of 5, many ingredients weren't fresh, like they came from a jar or bucket, meat was poorly prepared, dry and fibrous and mega overpriced, so for us it was the last one Just. Although the staff is very friendly and helpful, the chef belongs somewhere else... sorry

We arrived on Sunday lunchtime, the first thing we did was go straight to the beach and finally feel the sand between our toes again. We saw the restaurant as we were walking past and decided to go there for dinner in the evening. No sooner said than done, the staff was very friendly, we were immediately seated outside, but the food was a disappointment even though we ordered something "normal" like a gyro plate, the meat was dry so the taziki couldn't help either Taziki tasted the coleslaw was totally sour, you could only eat the fries and that was it. Once and never again so disappointment across the board. A pity! When we asked why the meat was so dry, we only made excuses.

Staff super nice. Fast service, very friendly. But please, fire this chef. I've never had such bad food. I had it returned twice and didn't pay for it either. This really hasn't happened to me yet. 2 other guests also complained about the food that evening. It's a shame about the employees. Could be a nice restaurant. It may make sense to reduce the size of the map and specialize. But without this "cook"

The restaurant makes a positive impression from the outside and inside and is nicely furnished. A sign in front of the restaurant advertised schnitzel and dogs are welcome there, which is what motivated us to visit this restaurant. We received a very friendly welcome and the service was quick and friendly. Actually, the very extensive menu in the apparently Italian restaurant could have made us a little suspicious. In addition to various pasta and pizza dishes and various schnitzels, various dishes with gyros and kebab varieties were also offered. So a wide range of different national cuisines. We ordered tzatziki as a starter, my wife had liver with fried onions, and I had mushroom schnitzel with fries. What can I say, none of us particularly liked the food. The tzatziki tasted very unusual, as if it were made with low-fat quark and not yoghurt. The liver was well fried, but slightly sour and the fried onions were still relatively raw. My schnitzel was a bit small and relatively thickly breaded, but I also found the mushroom sauce delicious. The fries were not fried enough for me and we were disappointed with the side salad that was served with the dish. It consisted of some chopped iceberg lettuce, a small piece of tomato, an olive and a pepperoni. The salad dressing tasted like a thin cream or condensed milk, with no other flavor. We found it very unusual that the water ordered for my wife was served in a 0.3l water glass, not in a small mineral water bottle as usual. I can't tell whether this was mineral water or bottled water. We could certainly have expressed our dissatisfaction a little more forcefully on site, but personal tastes are different, the waiter was really friendly and I don't have to argue on holiday. I would also like to mention positively that before paying, this Italian restaurant offered an ouzo on the house. I can't say whether this is always the case there or because we weren't happy with our dishes and didn't finish them.

Pizza hat überhaupt nicht geschmeckt

Die Vorspeise war gut, zum Hauptgang mit anschließendem Espresso möchte ich tatsächlich lieber nichts sagen. So freundlich das Personal auch war, wir kommen nicht wieder.

Wir haben dort sehr gut gespeist. Die bestellten Gerichte waren sehr lecker und das Essen kam zeitnah an den Tisch. Das Bedienpersonal war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Eine klare Empfehlung unsererseits. Wir kommen auf alle Fälle wieder.

Essen war lecker auch das Gyros , ausser das es nicht nach Gyros schmeckte . Aber lecker

Leider sind nicht mehr als 2 Sterne möglich. Mangels Alternativen spontan das Restaurant besucht. So gut wie alles frei. Wir haben 4 Gerichte bestellt. Das Gyros war eher stückiges, fettiges Fleisch, Zaziki hätte mehr Würze vertragen können. Das Schweinesteak war sehnig und mit Knorpel. Am Nebentisch wurden auch halb volle Teller zurück gegeben. Leider nicht zu empfehlen. Service war ok und aufmerksam. Preis Leistung passte nicht annähernd.

Sehr nette Bedienung. Die gehen auf deine wünsche ein. Ich gehe da gerne essen mit meiner Frau. Hunde 🐕 sind auch gerne gesehen.

Waren mit 6 Personen zum Essen dort. Des Essen hat allen geschmeckt. Bedingung war freundlich. Da mann in dem großen Wintergarten rauchen durfte war es gemütlich, und wir sind lange sitzen geblieben.

Komme schon seit Jahren und immer wieder GUT..Werden auch weiterhin kommen. Jederzeit zu empfehlen.

Wir haben hier Pizza zum mitnehmen bestellt. Zwischen Bestellung und möglicher Abholzeit lagen nur 15 Minuten und ging somit recht flott. Wir hatten darum gebeten die Pizzen zu schneiden, damit wir sie am Strand essen konnten. Dies wurde am Telefon als „kein Problem, machen wir“ angenommen, aber leider nicht umgesetzt. Das war schade. Geschmacklich waren die Pizzen gut , allerdings hätten sie für 10€/11,50€ etwas größer sein dürfen.

Diese Rezension ist ehr eine Warnung und weniger eine Rezession. Wir waren eben das Menü der Woche essen. Es sollte Bruschetta, Spaghetti Olio mit Scampis und als Dessert eine Panna Cotta geben. Erwartet hat uns dann Bruschetta bei dem das Brot zwar teilweise schwarz, aber dafür nicht knusprig war. Knoblauch war definitiv nicht dabei, dafür um so mehr Zwiebeln. Das war übrigens noch das beste vom ganzen Menü. Der Hauptgang war überraschenderweise ohne Knoblauch, dafür mit massenhaften Peperoni, so dass man es kaum essen wollte. Mehr will ich dazu auch nicht sagen. Die „Panna Cotta“ war irgendwas stichfest durchgeliertes, was mit übertrieben süßer Erdbeersoße übergossen wurde. Für mich ist dieses Lokal nichts.

Große Essensauswahl und sehr lecker 😋

Waren gestern Abend spontan ohne Reservierung dort. Hatten zwei Hunde dabei, was gar kein Problem war, im Gegenteil, es wurde darauf geachtet, dass man mit anderen Hundebesitzer nicht in die Quere kam. Das Essen war super lecker und die Preise echt okay!!! Die Servicemitarbeiter waren sehr freundlich, die Bestellung wurde schnell aufgenommen und es dauerte nicht lange bis das Essen kam. Empfehlenswert!!!!!

Wir hatten heute mal Hunger auf Nudeln. Also Rigatoni mit Garnelen auf Empfehlung gewählt. Sehr lecker und scharf. Vorspeise von meinem Mann: Gefüllte Weinblätter. Das wichtigste für uns war auch, dass unser Hund erlaubt war. Die freundliche Bedienung brachte unserem Hund 1 Schale Wasser und sogar eine Scheibe Geflügelwurst (nach Nachfragen bei uns). Preis ortsüblich im Rahmen.

Der Service, war zwar gut, aber das Essen sah so aus, als wäre die Portion in zwei geteilt und einfach in die Schale geklatscht. Der Service war zwar ganz nett und hat bei der Abholung ein paar Späße gemacht mehr aber auch nicht. Außerdem war der Preis für das Essen auch sehr bodenlos und sehr mies.

Essen für 120€ gekauft und sachen wie Pommes und Döner Metaxe waren halb leer. Nicht nur das die Pommes halb voll wahren, sie waren auch noch fürchterlich.

Alles von feinsten, sehr nette Bedienung. Super Service und top Qualität des Essen. Kann ich nur empfehlen. **********

Absolut super Atmosphäre. Der Geschmack und die Portionsgrösse waren einfach super. Vorallem ist es kein Problem als Urlauber mit Hund dort zu Essen. Dem Hund wird auch sofort Wasser gereicht. Definitiv zu empfehlen.

Wir waren gerade mit 2 Kindern essen. Seit langem das schlechteste Essen. Die Schnitzel waren keine Schnitzel sondern irgendwelche Tiefkühl Dinge die man nicht definieren konnte. Bratkartoffeln waren verbrannt und die Soße war undefinierbare Brühe. Ach ja und für ein bisschen Majonaise für meine Tochter wurde 1 Euro berechnet. Mir ist gerade echt übel ich hoffe es geht dann wieder. Und die Preise für das Essen dermaßen überteuert. Sehr Schade und das im Urlaub.

Sind eigentlich jedes Jahr im Sommer dort essen immer begeistert, doch dieses Jahr wurden wir von Essen sehr enttäuscht, die Qualität und der Geschmack hat sich leider verschlechtert hoffe das es bis nächstes jahr wieder besser wird sonst kommen wir danach leider nicht mehr dort essen.
