Unhöflich, nicht gastfreundlich. Austausch per WhatsApp wir sollen unsere Speisen bitte telefonisch vorbestellen. Da dies nicht machbar war haben wir den Reservierten Tisch abgesagt. Uns wurde vorgeworfen wir wären unfreundlich und wir sollen sein Restaurant nie besuchen kommen. Für uns sehr unseriös.

Wären dort gerne mit 8 Erwachsenen und 2 Kids Speisen zu gegangen.Der besitzer schien sehr überfordert zu sein.Er wollte tatsächlich über WhatsApp wissen was wir den Speisen wollen! Als wir es verneinten wir wollten ja im Lokal das passende für jeden einzelnen bestellen.Wurde er sehr unfreundlich mit dem Worten wir sollten sein Lokal nie mehr betreten.Da wir dort noch nie waren und wir uns von Rezessionen blenden lassen haben muß ich anmerken.Dieses Lokal mag schön sein aber der besitzer höchst unfreundlich!! Brauche ich nicht werde ich auch nicht weiter empfehlen.

Small, charming restaurant, good cuisine with brave, interesting Kobi of East Frisian and Indian cuisine. We would be happy to come back on our next visit to East Frisia.

Ein unscheinbares kleines Lokal, jedoch mit viel Charme. Das Essen war fantastisch. Die Küche spielt raffiniert mit der Vielfalt an Gewürzen. Preis und Leistung stimmt. Gerne kommen wir bei unserem nächsten Besuch in Ostfriesland wieder.

Went to the Dusend Buddel Huus again yesterday. Beautiful ambience! Very tasty dishes. Had the pollack with garlic oil, tomatoes etc. Plenty of fish 🐟. Deliciously fried. Service super friendly and nice. Can really recommend. Definitely worth a visit. The landlord and the staff are brilliant. Food anyway. We always enjoy coming here. Try it out. You won't be disappointed.

Went there for the first time yesterday following a recommendation from friends and we weren't disappointed. Very good food, I had the Cambodia schnitzel which was a good portion, with fries, where we were also told that if we wanted more fries, let us know. Service was very attentive, the interior design is reminiscent of an old pub from the Pott (that's where I come from) and you feel comfortable. It wasn't the last time there. My companion was also very satisfied

The food is excellent. Finally schnitzels that had to be beaten beforehand and didn't consist of a ready-made pad. Even the French fries are outstanding 👍 The ambience inside is rustic and rustic. The beer garden needs a strong hand. The staff is very friendly. Cash payment preferred. Parking possible nearby. We had 1 paprika schnitzel and 1 Viennese style schnitzel. The cuisine has an Indian touch. We would love to come back 😊

I can't understand all the good reviews! We ate here for the first time today. Unfortunately there is no atmosphere in the beer garden. Not even a candle on the table. The service was very friendly and accommodating! The food took a very long time. Apparently new staff in the kitchen. At first I wanted a mushroom schnitzel, but I first asked if it was canned mushrooms because I don't like that at all. Yes, unfortunately from a can, so I decided on schnitzel in curry sauce. My son had a paprika schnitzel. Neither of the sauces were homemade, I just say. It definitely tasted like a finished product! My small side salad was disgusting as it was drowned in ready-made dressing! We paid 70 euros for 3 main courses, the side salad and 3 drinks. And it just annoys me to no end when I'm presented with finished products!!!

Everything is just right here!! Food perfect, service super nice. Ambience is very rustic. We had Schnitzel Holstein and Bombay, you could have had fun with them.

In short, we were thrilled. A beautiful, old house, furnished in style, the staff, friendly and accommodating. The menu offers a variety of fish and meat dishes, and there is also something for the little ones. We each had a fish dish - it was delicious. Rarely eaten so good and tasty. A visit to this restaurant is definitely worth it, it's clear to us that we'll be happy to come back.

Wir waren gestern Abend in diesem gemütlichen Restaurant essen. War sehr sehr gut. Der Salat voraus war der absolute Hammer wie gewünscht mit Essig und Oel angemacht. Der Chef und die Bedienung sehr höflich und nett. Wir mussten einen Moment warten, aber hat sich gelohnt. Das Restaurant war auch sehr voll und haben zum Glück reserviert. Es ist sehr zu empfehlen.

Unfortunately we only have to give one star for the ambience. After entering the restaurant, we (two people) were seated at a free table. 5 minutes later the boss came and asked us to vacate the table because four people suddenly came into the restaurant after us. We were told to “take a seat” at a table with only one chair. One could have sat and one had to stand. If we don't want that, then we should leave. You shouldn't treat your guests like that. UPDATE Reply to the owner We didn't just sit down but reported to the waiter. He had assigned us a (unreserved) table. After we sat, they came and asked us to stand up again. Is this how you treat your guests?

Large selection in the menu. Very tasty food. Friendly and attentive service. A little tip: The patio furniture could be made a little more “comfortable”. But it has nothing to do with the quality and taste of the food - it's really great!

This nice little restaurant is a good choice for eating out. At second glance, the fish restaurant has a very Indian feel, but that's not a criticism. But looking at the map makes you dizzy. How can a restaurant of this size offer all of this fresh. But back to our food. My fish platter and my wife's herring plate were absolutely delicious. The service was fine. Thanks for that.

It was OK and we were fairly full, we don't have to do it again. Only got one beer, although the first one was already gone before dinner... A fly in the ointment, well, I think you can manage it better...

Today, on the advice of my mother-in-law, on site for the first time. I ate sailor plates and was extremely satisfied. There were eight of us there and everyone was happy. Definitely again next year.

Great super tasty food. That is of course the main thing. The only thing that gives cause for criticism is the toilet facility, which is no longer up to date.

Very cozy atmosphere, staff is friendly and attentive. And the Indian dishes taste simply great. But you should definitely reserve a table in advance. A tip for all wheelchair users: the ground floor is almost barrier-free and if you say when making your reservation that you are coming with a wheelchair, the owner will do everything he can to ensure that you can sit comfortably 👍👍👍 By the way, the price/performance ratio is also TOP! We'll be back, also in the next few years.

Price performance ratio TOP! I can highly recommend it. No big toppins...but the way it should be, limited to the essentials and good. The menu is clear, which I personally prefer, I want it fresh and tasty! And that is the case in this cute dusend Buddelhus! How nice that I live around the corner...so please always leave me a space :)))

A cozy restaurant on 2 floors in a small house. We had the redfish with spinach and the vegetarian dish. Both were very tasty. The vegetables were al dente. Our waitress was young, attentive and friendly. The star deduction for the ambience is that it was a bit drafty in the corner where we got a seat without registering.

We go to Dornumersiel several times a year. One or two visits to this restaurant are always in the program. The atmosphere is very cozy and the price-performance ratio is excellent. The innkeeper serves personally and always greets us very warmly. This is still a restaurant in the literal sense. The crab soup and the tomato soup are highly recommended, all the schnitzels are great and the curry dishes taste excellent. Not too spicy and kind of Indian as far as we can tell. We would be happy if this restaurant remained intact forever.

Wir waren mit 2 Personen nach langer Zeit nochmals im Restaurant. Fazit: Seelachfilet auf Gemüsebett und Schnitzel Holsteiner Art mit Bratkartoffeln. Einfach nur lecker. Fisch optimal gebraten, Schnitzel aus der Pfanne und top Bratkartoffeln ( mit Speck und Zwiebeln). Netter Service, schönes Ambiente. Man fühlt sich wohl Das Preis/Leistungsverhältnis ist absolut in Ordnung. Kein Vergleich zu den z.T. abgehobenen Preisen in den anderen Restaurants in Dornumersiel.

Wir waren zu viert dort essen, soweit alles gut. Der Chef nett und höflich, der junge Mann (Bedienung) absolut unfähig und unhöflich. Bei der Nachfrage bei zwei servierten Bieren ob mit Alkohol oder Alkoholfrei- kam sofort die schnippige Antwort "habe ich doch gesagt" Für uns war es das letzte Mal dort!!!!!!

Eine gute Adresse für leckeres Essen. Von innen klein und gemütlich. Reservieren erforderlich. Speisekarte sehr umfangreich. Wir hatten Fisch und Schnitzel, beides hervorragend zubereitet. Natürlich durfte ein Friesengeist zum Abschluß nicht fehlen.

Wenn wir zu Gast in Dornumersiel sind ist der (mehrfache) Gang zum Buddel Huus Pflicht. Egal was man hier isst, alles wird frisch und mit Liebe zubereitet, was man auch schmeckt. Es gab hier noch nie einen geschmaklichen Ausrutscher, denn die Qualität der Speisen ist beständig. Die Preise sind in Hinblick auf die Qualität absolut angemessen. Da gibt es so einige Mitbewerber in Dornumersiel die nicht im Ansatz mithalten können. Das Personal ist freundlich und die Atmosphäre urig. Unser absolutes Lieblingslokal!

Hervorragend! Wir haben dort zwei Currys zum abholen bestellt. Weil das Essen noch nicht fertig war zum vereinbarten Zeitpunkt gab es eine Cola aufs Haus(wo gibt es das noch?). Essen war sehr lecker! Toll gewürzt, Portionen reichlich. Preise angemessen.

Unfreundliche Begrüßung! Dann hatten wir einen Tisch (4Personen) + 1 hund für draußen bestellt, wurden aber nach drinnen verfrachtet. Dann angemeckert das wir den Hund mit angeben hätten müssen. Hallo.....für was bestelle ich denn einen Tisch für draußen???!!! Übrigens ist das das einzige Restaurant was so krass negativ auf hund reagiert hat. Okay. Getränke bestellen hat etwa 20 min gedauert.dann nochmal etwa 20 min bis wir essen bestellen konnten. Bis das Essen kam nochmal 20 min - voll okay. Alle hatten den Berner Topf (Hächnchenbrust Champignon soße Nudeln Röstzwiebeln mit Käse überbacken) bestellt. Nur bei einem waren die Röstzwiebeln drauf 2 waren sehr dunkel , die anderen sehr hell... Hähnchenbrust bei allen trocken! Champignon aus der Dose - für mich okay- aber bei dem Preis und Umfeld definitiv was anderes erwartet! Kellner hat uns gefragt wegen dem Essen - wir haben ihm das geschildert, aber es hat ihn nicht einmal interessiert. Entschuldigung gab es auch nicht! Mit dieser wären wir zwar trotzdem mit dem Essen unzufrieden gewesen , aber okay kann passieren. Aber mit dieser Gleichgültigkeit des gesamten Personals , ist das echt ne Frechheit.....

Ausgezeichnete Küche. Alle Gerichte waren überaus geschmackvoll zubereitet, der Koch versteht wirklich sein Handwerk! Wir waren positiv überrascht, von mir eine hundertprozentige Empfehlung!

Das Essen war sehr lecker und von guter Qualität. Für den Preis hätte die Portion allerdings etwas größer sein dürfen. Auch für den kleinen Hunger gibt es ein paar Gerichte und „Kinderteller“.
