We were there as a group today and we can only recommend it. It was my first time there and I was very positively surprised. Nice cellar restaurant, very friendly and quick service and the food was also very varied and tasty. We will come again.

The market jug in Rostock is a real gem! The atmosphere is cozy, the staff is super friendly and attentive. The food was fantastic – fresh, perfectly seasoned and prepared with a lot of love. We were particularly impressed by the regional specialties. The drink selection is also great, with a nice selection of beers and wines. Price-performance ratio also fits! We will definitely come back and can highly recommend the Marktkrug.

My first review was two years ago. This is my third time here, and I can only repeat myself. Everything is just right here. If you want to eat very well, this is the place. We had a very nice evening here. The food was fresh, elegantly presented, and of very good quality. I drank Marlower beer for the first time, and it wasn't bad. The dessert was simply a dream!!! Excellent! The service was very attentive, very friendly, and funny. Conclusion: We'll be back.

Absolutely awesome pizza and the owner is great too, he does it with joy and you can tell. We had eaten in front of the shop and he first brought us a napkin - really nice and attentive!

A great restaurant with first-class service (only a touch of criticism would be appropriate) The view was outstanding. Request for space when booking was 100% fulfilled. The food lived up to the star, and the wine accompaniment also harmonized as expected. Almost all courses were outstanding, if not, then still very good. I didn't really like the gap between some courses, especially when the wine had already been introduced and was slowly increasing in temperature... so the wait for the food was too long here and there. BUT I was still very satisfied with everything and can only recommend the restaurant to everyone.

I rented a garden here last year to make new contacts and be in nature. The chairwoman of this KGA is correct and helps immediately with questions or problems. I like it here and am already looking forward to the coming gardening season.
