Four of us went for dinner today. Delicious food at a reasonable price, with really friendly service from Alexandra & Flo! A great place to stop! 👍 We'll definitely be back on our next visit to Schwerin.
2nd chance I thought. Ordered spaghetti with cheese sauce a long time ago and it was a cold porridge. This time I called specifically and “ordered spaghetti then sauce”. It was penne, cold and just porridge again. Inedible. Went into the bin like that.
The Döneriea seems to be closed. All inventory has been cleared out. Unfortunately, it is not clear whether a renovation will take place. Unfortunately there are no clues either.
Update, it looks like something new is coming in there. First Food will soon be on the window. Well let's see where the journey goes.
We visited the Seewarte again after a while. The reason for our extended absence is also the only criticism of the Seewarte – it's like winning the lottery to get a table spontaneously. The food is fantastic and, in my opinion, you won't find anywhere else like it for miles around. Every plate ordered, even despite the large number of guests, was prepared with great professionalism and attention to detail. The quality of the products and the taste of the dishes are simply superb. There are also highlights and matching flavor and product combinations that you can only find in a few restaurants in the area. The service is appropriate, friendly, and accommodating, and the ambiance is also great, although we go to the restaurant more for the good food. The price is certainly in the upper 20 euros for a dish, but in my opinion, the plate is worth it. In summer, the Seewarte has a completely different ambiance thanks to the large outdoor area. We would recommend the Seewarte to anyone who can make a reservation in advance and would gladly return again, even as a family with children.
It's been a few days since we booked a table for dinner here to celebrate our belated birthday! But it was exactly as the owner had so convincingly described it in a recent article in the SVZ newspaper! We were thrilled… A friendly welcome in the entrance area, very quick, excellent service at our table, special requests included, and everything was very, very tasty. When the owner then asked at our table whether everything was going to our satisfaction, we were very impressed by this highly recommended Greek restaurant! The highlight and culmination was the surprise birthday candle for the birthday boy! Great, great! We thank you for a wonderful evening. And I almost forgot. Of course, we also exchanged a few words about past handball days, where the owner was convincingly and successfully involved for years! We wish you many more satisfied guests and will definitely be back soon 👋🏻 Manfred Kiesewski and family
Unfortunately my expectations were not met. The ambience and offering were good, but the 1/2 duck was either old or not quite cooked yet. My cutlery had to do a great job. The price-performance ratio is good.
Well
Actually supposed to be up until 11 p.m.
Come in now at 9:42 p.m., the kebab skewer is still a quarter full.
The gentleman behind the counter says he won't do anything anymore because it's closing time.
Well then I won't come here on other days either
It doesn't seem necessary
We had breakfast at Cafe Prag on March 16, 2025. I have to say, I'm having a hard time rating this place. It was a bit chilly in the room, perhaps because of the old windows? We were able to choose our seats. The tables were also tidy and clean. We sat near the bar. Unfortunately, the complaining of the ladies behind the bar was quite noticeable. Every order was one too many. She was obviously overwhelmed. I was constantly shouting everything from "shit" to other unkind words. I'm sorry, but that's not acceptable. It's possible to be stressed, but then I should consider whether this is the right job. The two waitresses were friendly. But overall, it wasn't very cozy, because you got the feeling everyone was stressed. And you get that all the time. We haven't experienced that in Schwerin, Wismar, or Rostock. The breakfast itself was good, though. Unfortunately, we won't be back. There are plenty of other cozy spots in and around Schwerin. What a shame :(..
