So I've had enough, but nothing more. It was more of a run-of-the-mill experience with prices that were too high. The price/performance ratio doesn't match at all and the location is very simple when it comes to the ambience. Nice ladies at the service, the gentlemen a bit harsh.

We were here once years ago and had fond memories of the restaurant. We weren't disappointed. The service is particularly noteworthy, so attentive and friendly, you feel comfortable here - thank you for that. We ordered fish soup, plaice and three kinds of fish with fried potatoes. It was very tasty. Normal prices. Always my pleasure!

The food was very tasty, unfortunately there was no sauce for the fish platter and other dishes, or there was too little sauce for others. The “summer terrace” is located right on the pedestrian zone. Unfortunately very little green and no plants.

I recently had a great experience at Lukas! The restaurant is spacious, with plenty of tables, making it perfect for gatherings of any size. The food was delicious, and the portions were huge—you definitely get your money's worth! Plus, the waiter was super friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. Honestly, I didn't notice any downsides.

I was here twice on two consecutive days. First we had an excellent lunch (walleye fillet with a very tasty potato and pesto salad and a good portion for the price, which fills you up without being too full) and tried the sea bream the next day. Fast and friendly service and the fish is prepared to perfection. If you like fish, you will find the best address in the state capital here.

3 different pieces of fish, fried rather hard and fried potatoes fried in bacon fat, which is absolutely absurd for fish. My husband got a steak that you had to have good strength to cut.

Spontaneously visited the restaurant for lunch. The service was very friendly, the restaurant was very clean, the food was really delicious. We had a large salad plate with various types of fish and a delicious white wine. We sat outside and when the outside temperature was 22 degrees, our wine was even served in the wine cooler. This was our third time in the restaurant and each time we were very satisfied. This is definitely my favorite restaurant as a native of Schwerin. 🥰

Very plentiful and good dishes. Prices in line with those of the area. Not fast service and no particularly attentive or courteous gestures that I noticed but they also have the menu in English! Outside and inside they have large spaces. May be suitable for large groups.

We had dinner there with children and friends. First of all the service was great. After ordering...., well We waited almost an hour for the food and everyone knows that things are different with babies/children. The Lukas fish platter was ok. Chanterelle mushroom noodle also ok.

If you are looking for a restaurant in the center of Schwerin for a great (fish) dinner, Lukas is the right place for you. The food was really excellent, from the starters (including fish broth and solyanka) to the main courses (fish platter Lukas with cod, zander and salmon) to the dessert (tipsy plums and creme brulee). There really was nothing left to be desired. The drinks were also great! The beer from the small Hennings brewery tastes great, but unfortunately you can't get it in Hamburg (yet).

40 minutes of waiting with arrogant staff who don't even apologize for the delay and who have a provocative and almost threatening attitude when we make the comment. We left before eating. Unbearable and unjustifiable behavior from staff. Avoid at all costs

Everything flawless. Super light, cloudy beer 😅 Definitely worth recommending. When I'm in the area again I'll definitely end up here again... :-)

Great seafood restaurant! We ate there twice (the fish platter both times) and were thrilled. Very good fish and large portion! The service was attentive and very friendly. When we are back in Schwerin, we will definitely come back here!

My son loves eating fish so we looked for a restaurant online. Because of the many good reviews, we decided on Lukas. We both took the fish platter, he with fried potatoes and I with boiled potatoes and dill sauce. Absolutely amazing. Since we didn't manage to do everything, the rest was packed up for us. Absolute recommendation. Thanks to the entire team.

Seems like an interesting restaurant, so go there in person and reserve a table for the following evening. Great, that worked. The following evening, when politely asked that we had reserved a table and where we could sit, the waiter's bored answer was: "Find something, you can sit wherever you want." Service works differently. We left, there are certainly more competent restaurants in Schwerin.

Great fish and seafood restaurant in the heart of Schwerin. The selection of dishes is very nice and there is also a seasonal menu. The food was super freshly prepared and tasted excellent. The fish was just right and the side dishes and salad rounded everything off perfectly. The service was very attentive and quick, even though the restaurant was busy.

We were there yesterday around 12:00 p.m. It was 28°C outside. We just wanted something to drink. We didn't want to eat until later, around 5 p.m. Even though there were free tables, we weren't allowed in. That is not how it works. We ate somewhere else.

Called and asked if we could eat with eleven people. We were told but not sitting together, which is what we responded to. OK. 10 minutes later the waiter wanted to seat us, but then we were told the kitchen was closed.

Oh my God. The last time we were at Lukas was 20 years ago and it wasn't that great, but yesterday I would have even given it 6 stars. When we went in, the staff seemed untypical for this type of restaurant. Don't be fooled people, because these are the best and friendliest people we have ever experienced in Germany. The food is brilliant and if 35 euros for the specialty platter seems too much to you, you are missing out on a really delicious dish. We will definitely go there again.

We are often in Schwerin, but have "overlooked" this restaurant so far, UNFORTUNATELY!!! Today we finally ate here and were thrilled! The fish platter was super tasty and plentiful (we canceled the market vegetables but received more fried potatoes)! We will come back in any case.--- Today, two days later, (July 11, 2024) we came here again: Nice, personal welcome and the food was just as good as described above! We look forward to our next visit to Schwerin!

Der Inhaber bzw. Service wirkte maximal unentspannt. Das fing damit an, dass er angerufen hat weil sich unsere Gruppe um 5 Minuten verspätet hatte. Der krönende Abschluss war dann als jeder getrennt bezahlt hat und einer noch eine Runde Getränke übernommen hat. Ich habe mich nicht wirklich wohl geführt. Die Preise sind leicht gehoben und meiner Meinung nach der Leistung nicht angemessen. Meine Hänchenstreifen zum Salat waren stellenweise noch roh. Der Fisch scheint immerhin gut gewesen zu sein. Positiv war das Angebot des lokalen Bieres Hennings.

A listless waiter served me. I ate plaice fillet. You couldn't see or taste the fish because of all the breading. Unfortunately. I remembered the place better.

Be sure to try the fish, whether sea bream, cod or plaice, everything is very good.

Starter Bruschetta Top.The mixed fish platter was good 👍. With the grilled sea bream, however, I had the feeling that it had been cooked and only put on the grill briefly at the end, no roasted aromas or signs of being grilled, the ratatouille vegetables were rather weak, the rosemary wedges were ok.

A great catering company with creative ideas for the space and the offerings. The food was very good, the price-performance ratio was completely reasonable, the staff were very friendly and accommodating and always made a good impression on the guests. Ambiance is great for both inside and outside. So my full recommendation and an express thank you for the hospitality in your house

We came here because the reviews were good. Actually everything is frozen, the fish, the shrimps, the vegetables. You pay 35€ for a plate that you can do at home much better. Service and beer are good

The wait for the meal was very long. After 50 minutes, we received the ordered dish. The fish was overstretched - it was dry. The fried potatoes smelled of stale oil, and the ratatouille was drowned in a very thick sauce. The price was about €30 including tea. Personally, I don't recommend it.

We waited about an hour for the meal, the fish was dragged and drowned in fat together with the potatoes...

I sometimes have a hard time with the evaluation. Some others might be happier. But for me the service was there, but not really friendly and you didn't feel welcome. I had the plaice fillet myself and unfortunately it was more breaded like fish. The presentation of the plates was nice. The satisfaction of the others at the table was also mixed. There is potential, but it needs to be expanded.

Terrible service, I don't know how the staff is trained here. My bank card was charged 3 times and they initially said their computer was broken. I have waited a long time. Then I often asked for the table to be cleared if I hadn't finished eating. But even then I gave a tip and then I didn't thank you at all.🤮🤮

Restaurante de pescado y Marisco en Schwerin. Gran decepción. Es un restaurante de pescado y marisco bien puntuado, y recomendado por el hotel donde nos alojamos. Fuimos a comer con la esperanza de encontrar un hotel con buena calidad y servicio atento con una carta diferente a los platos propios de Alemania, ya que se oferta como el único restaurante de pescado de la ciudad (falso). Naturalmente nos pedimos un plato de pescado: dorada y bacalo....calidad normalita y sin ninguna gracia a la hora de cocinarlo...Mi dorada no estaba jugosa y a la parrilla no tengo claro que estuviera hecha...el romero decorativo...lo mismo con el bacalao. Además nos pésimos de primero, ilusos de nosotros, una parrillada de verdura para compartir...NO ES UNA PARILLADA DE VERDURAS...es una menestra de verduras con mucho tomate y 3 kilos de patatas que no recomiendo a ningún vegetariano. Y el postre malo nos pedimos las ciruelas al ron...al que suponemos que se había acabado y se olvidaron de macerar las ciruelas en el ron. Y el chico que nos tocó amable y profesional no era...ninguna facilidad, nada atento, seco y sin gracia...solo sonrío cuando pedimos la cuenta a la espera de una buena propina que naturalmente no dejamos porque no se la merecía. No volveremos ni lo vamos a recomendar...no vale las puntuaciones recibidas.

We followed the reviews and were not disappointed, rather surprised that we were offered much more than we had hoped for that evening. Starting with the table reservation (personal, nice, even with a call back), to the very nice waiter who gave us excellent advice (thanks for recommending the house wine!), and of course to the food: gazpacho with shrimp (super glassy) & delicious bruschetta Starters, main courses then pork fillet (extremely well done) and the plaice fillet with homemade breading. A firework of flavors. A must in Schwerin. We will come back!

We were denied access to order at this Restaurant. We entered at 19:50 and were told the kitchen was closed. The website states 22:00. People went in after us and were seated. In my opinion this is not a safe space for people of color, or any one who is not white and conservative.

Apparently they close the kitchen at 20h when they are open until 22h! And is a clean rich people appearance restaurant only ! They didn’t let us eat there even with a lot of tables free. Was clearly because we don’t have the look for them expensive fish!

Would be 5 out of 5, but one of the dishes is called King Prawns something, but when we get the dish, they were regular shrimp Other then that, the restaurant is great. Service is amazing, staf is friendly, I would recommend this place again.

A nice restaurant. With a very good fish menu. We didn't have to wait long for the food. The service was very friendly. The food also tasted very good.

That wasn't the case now. There was a lack of taste somewhere in everything. The soup was bland, the fish platter was uncreative and boring and seasoned without courage and the plums for dessert had been in rum for maybe 3 days at most. The food was still OK, but not at that price...

Great fish restaurant in Schwerin. I recommend making a reservation in advance as it can be very crowded, especially on weekends. The service is very friendly and tries to fulfill all wishes. After placing our order, it took less than 25 minutes for us to receive our dishes. Very good despite the restaurant being full 👍🏻. The fish was of great quality and the vegetables were also freshly prepared. Both dishes tasted very good. I rarely give five stars, as I did here. Our drinks were already empty, unfortunately the waitress didn't notice this otherwise we would have ordered a second one. But I can highly recommend this restaurant to everyone! 👍🏻

Reservation without any problems, food was good, atmosphere ok. In my opinion it's too expensive, but that's generally the case in Schwerin. Overall, however, recommended.

First the good: the staff is very friendly and accommodating. And the beer was good too. But actually it's primarily about the food. Attracted by the display: “Fresh Stint”, I ordered this seasonal delicacy. What I got next left me speechless. The smelts were fried dead under a breading that was at least 4mm thick. The whole thing just tasted like oily oil. But at least you can enjoy it for a long time... With the fish solyanka, the cook had probably added the salt, which was missing from the still hard fried potatoes. Maybe we were unlucky with our dishes, the other guests seemed quite happy and what was on the plates also looked good. For me personally, it was a really disappointing visit here today. We haven't eaten so badly in a long time. I'm sorry.
