We keep going there because we like everything. If we get space, we'll go there spontaneously, but it's better if we reserve in advance.

Great Greek, cozy atmosphere, nice service but not intrusive. Very clean, including the toilets. Food divine and served quickly. Prices not exaggerated. This flair makes you want to go to sea!!!

Reservation is recommended! We were lucky and managed to accommodate 4 people at around 6 p.m. on time during the week, but we also saw quite a few people waiting at the entrance. A very nice medium-sized restaurant, unfortunately it was also quite loud due to the abundance and open room concept, but perhaps it could also be in a tavern 😅. Unfortunately there was a lack of music, this was mentioned to the waiter who shortly afterwards played one and two songs. After that there was no music again?! The waiters are super nice, even with the many orders. The food was brought after just under 20 minutes and all of it was very good except for the octupus. The Octobus lacked flavor, perhaps garnish with garlic or something else 😉. I would have liked to try more but nothing worked. The salad before the meal was also good 👍. Toilets were clean 👍

We ordered take-away food here yesterday based on a recommendation. Everything worked fine and was very tasty. BUT the baked eggplants for just under €10 were a disgrace. Also really tasty but a tiny portion for the money. Even as a starter. That was a disappointment. There are 3 thin slices of eggplant missing from the picture...

Just wanted to order and pick up the food. First I was told I could pick it up at 2 p.m. Then I wanted to order. Then they said that at 2 p.m. you still had to wait. I then asked how long you have to wait. The lady on the phone then said she didn't know and that she wasn't taking orders anymore. Then the phone was hung up. Thanks for nothing.

While I was traveling through, I had the idea to enjoy Greek cuisine again. No sooner said than done, my navigation system recommended the above-mentioned restaurant as my next destination. I drove there and noticed straight away that it was busy at lunchtime. Nevertheless, I easily found a parking space. After I was assigned a place, people quickly heard that the staff was severely understaffed, so I morally prepared myself for a bit of a wait. Waiting and looking at the interior, I found a good mix of German and Greek houses. All in all comfortable, inside and out. I ordered a beer and bifteki with fries. After about 20 minutes I received my drink and shortly afterwards a salad was served in a friendly and courteous manner. Unfortunately there was no welcome drink. At least the beer and salad were okay. About 5 minutes later, the food I ordered arrived. Visually beautifully presented. Unfortunately, I discovered that the champions I ordered were missing. The bifteki itself was okay, but filled with a kind of processed cheese and not with feta as usual. The taste was still quite good, I think I would say 3 out of 5 stars. All in all, the price was moderate given the current political situation. Unfortunately, I see little risk of a repeat performance in the future, even if I'm often in the corner. PS: at the end of the bill there was the long-awaited ouzo. And the invoice was kindly adjusted so that the missing champions were no longer included in the price.

It was my dad's birthday today, 88 years old. We took this as an opportunity to go out to eat again. As always, we had an excellent time and we will be back for our next birthday. One star deducted, we sat outside and numerous garbage trucks drove past, I didn't think that was very nice.

Very tasty… We'll be back! We were there on August 20th. here for the first time. The restaurant was very busy and we were a little lucky that we still got a table for 6 people (even without a prior reservation). In any case, you can definitely go if you reserve a table in advance. The staff was very friendly, the waiting time (despite the full hut) was perfectly fine and the food was delicious. The children immediately received a children's card and painting materials. Overall a very pleasant evening. We will definitely stop by again soon.

Well, all seats were free and we were sent away as customers because there were no available seats. There were also no tables reserved. The waiter wasn't very customer oriented. “Come back later,” he said to several guests. When asked what was later, he just said “later”. Well, it's questionable whether you can see that you're making money like that...

We were here with our colleagues, we really liked it and would like to recommend it to others. The plates were well portioned and it was a perfect landing for us. In terms of taste, we were immersed in a rich Greek world of pleasure. A special highlight was the Greek salt and the subtle musical accompaniment of the evening with Greek music. The staff was very personable and nice so the evening was a 10/10

1:45 p.m. Few guests. 75% of the tables free. There were two of us. We were turned away with the announcement that we couldn't get anything without a reservation. Lunch until 2:30 p.m.! SERVICE DESERT!

Great restaurant with very friendly staff and good food

On a Saturday evening we got a table for 4 people. We found the atmosphere cozy and not too loud. Prices are okay, but I found the meat to be too over-seasoned, which I'm sure everyone feels differently. In short: nice evening, we'll be back👍🏻

Everything is good and tasty, but when the place is full it's really nice.

Portions too small for just under €18. The bifteki tasted like bratwurst, the chicken skewers were a bit very soft. Fries were perfect, but not enough.

I think at a price of €19.50 for an Aristotle plate you should be full, unfortunately that's not the case. Since the last price increase, previously this plate cost €13.90, the price/quantity is no longer correct. At least the taste is good.

Excellent cuisine. What we ate was great. No over-seasoning. The tomato rice was super tasty and the tzatziki was really firm and not so thin. Staff very attentive. We come from the Hanover area but haven't found anything that tastes comparable here.

I was positively surprised by the restaurant. The food met my expectations. But it is a lot! Service was okay, but could be improved. Unfortunately, the atmosphere is “typically” Greek... The price-performance ratio is right.

So the food itself was ok. The chicken was tough and barely seasoned. The salad was underwhelming. My tip: drive to the Acropolis in Ribnitz-Damgarten. The journey is worth it. Service, food and ambience. 5 Stars. I'm there often and it's great every time.

The food was so so delicious, we had several starters. There was definitely no skimping on the extra garlic in the tzatziki. We sat outside very nicely. The employees were also very friendly. Definitely coming back when we're nearby :)

The restaurant is very nice! The service is friendly and just right... The meat was of very good quality. There are deductions for the tomato rice (unseasoned or boring) and the fries (not cooked until crispy). There is still room for improvement! Otherwise we would like to come back...

Decent Greek restaurant outside of Schwerin. The parking situation is a bit difficult. The ambience and service were very good and polite. Unfortunately the food cannot be compared with other Greeks we know. It's a shame, we expected something more. However, the freshly tapped Mythos is highly recommended; every Greek should have it.

I'd be happy to come back, if I'm in Schwerin again...this is the first address.

“The Greek” - Outstanding Greek restaurant in Schwerin. Great, tasty food like you're on vacation in Greece. What makes this restaurant stand out - in addition to the good food - is that there is no “important macho behavior” among the service/waiters (sometimes experienced in other restaurants). Actually it should be called “The Greek Woman”! The owner “Maria” does a fantastic job with all table orders and in contact with guests when visiting the restaurant. An impressive woman who could at least rename her shop “The Greek Woman”. From my point of view, it would be justified: “The (Greek) Goddess”! Another impressive plus is the illuminated beer tap at the bar - unique in Schwerin - which offers several popular types of beer. It's a shame we didn't think of it sooner. My wife and I really loved Maria and her service - “The Goddess”.

Very nicely furnished, modern and yet Greek cozy. The food was exceptionally good. Everything fresh and very tasty. The gyros in particular deserve a positive mention. Juicy, aromatic, delicious. The service was extremely professional and friendly. The restaurant is well suited for families with children. There was a special menu for our little one that left nothing to be desired. We would like to come again.

We spontaneously decided to visit on a Sunday at 7:00 p.m. without a reservation during our vacation in Schwerin. The restaurant was full to the last seat. But at reception we were offered to reserve the next free table for us. We then went around again for 20 minutes and returned. The next free table was then assigned to us. The service was prompt and the orders came quickly. The food was great. Very delicious. Price, performance, service simply brilliant. Everything would have been free at 8 p.m. 😅

Terrific! Despite a very good visit to the restaurant, we still got two seats without an appointment. Friendly welcome and no waiting, the three courses were served in a very pleasant rhythm. Friendly questions from the waitress demonstrated an appealing caring attitude!

A typical representative of Greek cuisine that doesn't really stand out from all the others. The service was quick and friendly. Unfortunately, the Alster we ordered took some getting used to and the fillet was also fried to death. But maybe that's also part of Greek cuisine. Otherwise there were no other criticisms. If you like Greek, you're in good hands there.

Das Restaurant „Der Grieche“ kann ich wirklich jedem ans Herz legen. Wunderbar hergerichtete Platten mit köstlichen Gerichten haben das Buffet zu einem Genuss werden lassen. Meine wärmste Empfehlung, denn fünf Sterne kommen nicht von ungefähr.

Naja. Wir haben schon besser griechisch gegessen. Service auf Grund hoher Gästezahlen nicht wirklich Gut aber immer sehr freundlich. Hoher Preis für kleine Portionen.

Wenn man sitzt muss man nicht lange warten. Wenn man bestellt hat bekommt man die Getränke und das Essen schnell an den Tisch. Das Essen schmeckt und der Servis ist sehr gut. Ich kann das Restaurant nur empfehlen. Man sollte aber lieber einen Tisch bestellen. Das Restaurant ist sehr gefragt.
