Cigköfte 27 offers great food, with mixed service quality (some employees are 10/10 and others straight up ignore customers or are just absent) suffering from a lack of presentation overall. If they'd slightly rebrand and try to be more appealing for casual potential customers, they'd do great.

“Quite rustic with home cooking” probably sums it up best. Price-performance is completely okay, the operating couple has their own charm 😁

I eat out a lot with my wife and our expectations are therefore high. Unfortunately, in recent years we have noticed that there are more and more kebab shops, but the quality continues to decline. Of course, you know your one or two shops where you like to go and are happy. But especially when I eat a kebab, I'm always disappointed that sometimes I even regret eating one 😅 Thank you for showing with your idea and execution that it is possible and that high-quality kebab can be prepared. I would actually pay more money for that. I'd rather pay 10 euros and leave with a smile on my face instead of 8 euros and be disappointed. The bread was really incredibly tasty, the sauces were creative and varied. I asked the seller to give me a recommendation and he immediately knew what to do. The ingredients were very fresh and the meat was also delicious. I don't know if the meat is produced in-house, but this would be the only starting point where you could perhaps get 1-2% out of it. Otherwise a straight A and I'm really critical, especially when it comes to kebabs. Sorry, the text is a little longer, but I was simply happy today. Keep it up!

Great restaurant, would love to come back again

TERRIBLE! DON'T GO AND EAT HERE! Last night I went for a dinner in the India Restaurant. And let me start with the positive point; the people and owner are very kind, nice and helpful. The negative points; food is less than average as well as the portions. The atmosphere is really, really old and dusty. A renovation of the interior should have been done 20 years ago, but the most terrible thing is; we came in at 6.30 PM and at 8 PM we still didn't had any food so people started complaining. Owner started explaining that a family member of someone in the kitchen died that day, and so they were understaffed. But, although that could be the case, cooking some jasmin Rice doesn't take more than 10 minutes, and a Tikki Massala is definitely not freshly made. So either way, the kitchen is probably very badly organized, or there is another reason. And I believe it's related to the limited metal heating plates they put on the tables to 'warm' the bowls of food. I noticed that each time tables were getting served after a metal plate was available, and not sooner. If that is the case, it is ridicules! I have the feeling that they want to keep following that old traditional table setting, even if it takes 90 (!!) minutes to serve a very simple meal that I make at home freshly in 25 minutes. And, mine even taste much better so spare your money and have a dinner somewhere else because this is not worth it! COMMENT/REPLY TO REACTION OWNER: The Owner is apparently not open for any criticism, doesn't see the reality and also is extremely rude, just as I already had read in other comments and negative reviews. See attached the picture that I made of the bill from that evening, just so you know we were actually there and to debunk the comment from the owner. Looking at this review, this makes the whole experience even worse and I would definitely not recommend anyone to go and eat there, because it's terrible!

The best burgers in Giessen! Regional goods and fresh preparation. I have known this shop for 12 years and have never regretted a meal. Everyone should have tried it. I miss Burger Daniel :-)

It's not cheap, but the food is worth every penny. We had four different dishes and each one was incredibly saucy. And you have a great time in a great atmosphere with super friendly service. We had a great evening and will definitely be back!

Very delicious food and always welcomed with a smile by friendly staff. Naan is very fresh and tasty. We went there as a couple and in groups, always had the best experience. ☺️

After a visit to the cinema we wanted to go there on October 10th. Have dinner at the Chameleon. Unfortunately the kitchen was already closed due to too few guests. And we were disappointed and hungry. But the very nice, friendly lady who served us solved the problem excellently. She made us 2 breads out of the box with our desired toppings, pickles and tomatoes. Delicious!!!!!! I just thought it was great how the "problem" was quickly solved competently and to our more than complete satisfaction. You wish you had something like that more often. Thanks again!!!!! And again at any time

Single beds are wider than the standard 90cm width beds, and very comfortable!
